Hi there, there has been more of those orange lights you have talked about. I live in Yeovil, Somerset, UK and last night while I was putting the recycling out. I spotted 3 bright orange orbs in the sky. I was not sure what time it was now (about 9:00pm) but then came another 3 then more, about 40 all together, but most in packs of three and some went from orange to red and traveling quite fast and quite low. All flew towards Westlands and then disappeared. Really odd.

Hi, my husband and I live in Wilsden and we've just seen about 6 of these reddish lights (7.45pm). I thought at first they might be helicopters, but there was no noise. Any ideas?

Ball Of Fire In The Sky Over Port Glasgow Scotland
Date: January 31, 2010
Time: Approx: 8:15 p.m.
Hi, I found your web site and thought this might interest you. There was a strange sight that was seen over Port Glasgow tonight. At approximately 20:15 myself and a neighbour witnessed, what appeared to be a ball of fire moving eastwards over Port Glasgow. At one point there looked like flames falling from this object, yet bizarrely it did not appear to be dropping in altitude at all ! Very strange indeed and I'm sure there will be a simple explanation. Regards.

2 Orange Lights Over Bootle Merseyside UK
Date: January 31, 2010
Time: Approx: 7:00 p.m.Hi, my girlfriend and I where walking up Stanley Road towards Bootle Strand around 7:00pm today 31st January 2010. It was dark out and as we got near the bus stop opposite McDonalds, we saw a few people looking up at the sky, then we saw what they were pointing at. There was 2 Orange lights hovering away towards Balliol Road, they were flying together, but they went attached to each other. After a few minutes they just vanished. Within minutes of seeing them, there was 3 or more military helicopters out flying all around the area. They definitely was not police helicopters.

Round Orange Sphere Over Moodiesburn Glasgow Scotland
Date: January 30, 2010
Time: 9:30 p.m.Location of Sighting: Moodiesburn, Glasgow.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round Orange Sphere.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: At around 930pm my husband let our cat out and called me to the backdoor.
We witnessed an orange glowing mass in the night sky travelling at a steady speed in a straight line. It caught my husbands eye as he originally thought it was an aircraft on fire. However, after both watching the light we came to the conclusion that it was not an aircraft as there was no noise that you would expect to hear from a plane etc.
We followed the mass and it seemed to be going towards Bonnybridge area.
We have both never seen anything like this before and have only come to the conclusion that we witnessed a UFO after reading similar stories.

Orange Lights Over Guildford Surrey UK
Date: January 24, 2010
Time: Approx: 1:00 a.m.
Hi, we saw the same orange lights a few hours after you had seen them, but down in Guildford about 1:00am on 24th Jan 2010. There were 7 orange lights in a formation, i managed to take a picture after my housemate ran down with the camera, but before this each one moved towards me and disappeared, only one was left when I took the photos.
Just thought I'd say you're not on your own in seeing these. Regards.

Bright Orange Light Over Ballee Ballymena Co Antrim UK
Date: December 15, 2009
Time: Approx: 10:10 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Ballee, Ballymena, Co Antrim.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was chatting to a friend in the Car Park of Ballee High school when an orange light caught my eye in the northern sky. I initially thought it was a helicopter spotlight but it approached at what I would say was helicopter speed. There was no other visible parts other than the bright light which I assumed was pointing straight at me as it came forward.
As it approached the point where I thought I should be able to see the outline of the helicopter and hear the noise, the light changed direction and moved towards the SW direction along in front of me. Again I could see no features except for the glaring orange light. At this point I drew attention to the object to my friend who got out of his car to look. He could not figure out what it was either but got his camera to take a picture. The object moved at a steady pace for 1 minute or so, then changed direction again to the NW direction then rose at the same speed to disappear into the low clouds.
The whole event lasted for about 2-3 minutes. There was no sound from the object. It looked like an intense orange/yellow spotlight moving under control at a steady rate.

Triangular Formation Of Red Orange Orbs Over Puerto Escondido Oaxaca Mexico
Date: January 1, 2010
Time: After midnight.
Hello, Happy New Year! We saw red, orange orbs of light over Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, that had been in a triangular formation, then in a linear formation and then they separated their formation. These orbs remained visible for several minutes right after turning into the New Year 2010.
They were moving in a manner not like any star, planet or fireworks in the sky. A true phenomenon! Very cool and exciting! And last year we saw only one orb of light that seemed to follow our walking near the ocean here in Pto. Escondido just after the new year of 2009. Thanks for our being able to let you know.

Orange Balls Of Light Over Chapel End Nuneaton UK
Date: January 23, 2010
Time: 9:15 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Chapel End, Nuneaton.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 4
Shape of Objects: Orange Balls of light.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving home down the hill in Salisbury drive at Chapel End when I looked up over the field which is called Nuneaton Common, it is situated between the rear of Lincoln Avenue and Skey Drive. There were four glowing orange objects moving in a straight line, equally spaced apart and travelling at the same speed across the field towards the housing estate on Skey Drive. As I arrived at home and got out of the car, the formation had changed and they were moving towards each other. I ran into home and grabbed my binoculars to get a closer look at them and went upstairs to look out of the front of the house and they had gone, all I could see was one orange light which was really high up and that slowly disappeared.
I must just say that I and my wife have seen the same objects before. It was on New years Eve/New Years day and there were 4 of them again. I went upstairs to watch the fireworks going off over Nuneaton at 10:00 past Midnight and noticed one orange ball of light. It came closer to my house and then I noticed another one a bit further away. I called my wife and she went to look out the back of the house and she said there was one there too. We saw another one so we could see four all at once, we watched them for about 30 minutes. The one closest to my house was moving slowly across Nuneaton Common following the same path as the ones I saw last night (23/01/10) it did this four times, going towards the houses on Skey drive and then back towards my house.
It travelled quite slowly at the same speed. When it was closest to me I looked at it through binoculars, it was glowing orange with a yellowish/gold brighter light at the bottom in the middle, which seemed to get brighter when the object moved faster. The upper part of it was not round it was shaped more like a parachute, the ones that sky divers use, the arched wing type with the sides coming in at an angle towards the bottom of the object. The closest object to me moved away and seemed to pair up with another, the one at the back of the house moved off towards Galley Common and the other one on its own was a lot further away over Nuneaton. They all moved away and we lost sight of them after about half an hour at 00-45 on New Years day. I can say that there was no sound at all and I couldn't really make out a solid shape, just the glowing shape I have described, but they were definitely not helicopters or planes or balloons or lanterns or anything else I have seen before. I shall keep watching now I have seen them for a second time in the same place and try to get film of them, if I do see them again.

Four Orange Lights/Objects Seen From The Ramada Jarvis Hotel UK
Date: January 17, 2010
Time: 7.15 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.
Location of Sighting: at the Ramada Jarvis hotel at the end of Bingley bye-pass.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 4
Shape of Objects: Round orange lights.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: As I was coming along Bradford road, just passed the "Tram Shed restaurant/public house, on my way home to Bingley. I caught sight of a stationary bright orange light in the sky that was over to my right and near the Baildon moor area. I thought it might have been a helicopter with a light shining down. However as I drove along glancing at this light, I noticed another bright orange light rising slowly up to the first one from below. I then thought "this is very strange and I did not think two helicopters to be a very likely explanation".
So, as I was at the roundabout at the end of the Bingley by-pass, I decided to go right round the roundabout and park up at the entrance to the Ramada Jarvis Hotel so enabling me to have a good view of what was going on. After watching the two orange objects for a minute or so, another orange light appeared out of nowhere on Baildon moor, as if it had been turned on by an electric switch.
This third object then slowly rose to the other two joining them in a straight vertical line. The second object (to my astonishment) rose up to hit the first object, which made it rise up and turn into a blue light before settling back down to merge with the orange object ( talk about weird) Then another orange light appeared out of nowhere on Baildon moor (as if turned on with a switch again) Again rising slowly to join the two only lights now, and in a straight vertical line. The two recent additions then started to get dimmer and dimmer until eventually vanishing completely.
The two that had merged did the same a minute or so later till there was nothing in the sky at all. I kept watching for a while in case they reappeared, they did not, but a plane from Leeds Bradford airport flew over where they had been only slightly higher up. The whole incident was amazing and most definitely these objects had me convinced that different laws of physics were in use. The two that merged and did not collide with a bang, how do you explain that? The answer is that you cannot. (Oh, while this was all happening there was no sound whatsoever) whilst I heard the plane ok.

Orange Colored Object Observed Over Haleswoth Suffolk UK
Date: January 24, 2010
Time: 6:32 p.m.
Dear Sir, I have just been looking at a strange light in the sky ( 18.32 ) Sunday. It was orange in colour and a small amount of red. The reason I think this is not correct is because it is very cloudy tonight and can see nothing else, the object was not moving as I watched for nearly 2 mins, and then just disappeared. Do you know of any other sightings in my area.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 5
Shape of Objects: Circular.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: I peered out of my window to see a bright orange light coming from the west to east. It was traveling like a fighter jet speed, maybe faster. I thought it was a flare, but it traveled to far and high and there was not only one, but four or so more appeared traveling in the same line.
They all rose to the same point, but my thoughts of it possibly being a flare were obviously incorrect, because when they got so high in the sky, they stopped, but did not drop. They stood still for maybe 3-4 mins not dropping in height whatsoever, then just faded away. It was very, very strange!

7 Orange Balls/Lights Seen Over Bromley Kent UK

Location of Sighting: Bromley, Kent.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 7
Shape of Objects: Round.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: Between 10:00pm and 10:15pm we sighted 7 orange balls flying south to north west. They all followed the same flight path. Two were very close together, the others spaced out. There was high cloud and a half moon, the objects were below the cloud. There were no navigation lights or engine noise and they definitely not meteorites (no tail). The only explanation we can think of is they were some form of balloon. They were too low to reflect the sun so where did the light originate from.

Two Orange Colored Lights Over Glasgow Scotland UK
Date: December 25, 2009
Time: Evening.
I am a level headed Glasgow man and it was Xmas day. I was in the house and through the window saw 2 lights of orange in colour together. I live central Glasgow, west end and they were motionless and silent. I immediately opened the window to check to see if I wasn't seeing reflections off a glass window or something.
This was a UFO! without a doubt. It was total silence and very near to me, then it shot up and the 2 orange lights and disappeared. It was exciting as I knew straight away I was witnessing a UFO, but it was also scary. I really felt scared and I am an ex army guy from a tough background.

Bright Orange Glowing Objects Over Lanesfield Wolverhampton UK
Date: January 18, 2010
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Hi Brian just found your blog. My girlfriend and I spotted two large round bright orange glowing objects flying over our house on Monday January 18 th at precisely 6.30 pm GMT. We both live in Lanesfield Wolverhampton, England. First I was on my computer when my girlfriend came in from the garden to say something strange was in the sky. I went out and saw a big glowing orange object flying across the sky. There was no noise at all. I tried to take a picture, but it was moving at pace and my phone was too slow.
Anyhow shaken by what I'd seen, I returned inside then a minute later my girlfriend shouted, there's another one. I went outside to see an identical object flying in exactly the same direction as the first for some reason. I tried to video it on my phone, but after found the phone, it didn't record. I wished I had a better phone. Anyhow just thought I'd share with you.

UFO Was A Perfect Isosceles Triangle Seen Over Margarita Island Venezuela
Date: October 2009
Time: Approx: 10:30 p.m.
I had a similar experience last year, but not in England. I saw it in Margarita Island, Venezuela. There it is a description of the UFO I saw.
It was October 2009 about 10:30 in the night, we were two people and we were looking at the sky over the sea. We had a visibility of 180 grades, with the direction towards the south in front of us, therefore the west was in our right and of course the east to the left. The night was clear and we were looking west where the international airport of Margarita Island is. We were looking, just above the horizon the lights of the airplanes. It was at that instant when I saw three lights coming from the west, from the same place the airplanes were flying. The lights were moving with an incredible speed towards us. I only had time to cry. What the hell is that?
When the lights already were flying over our position. At first I thought that there were three separated war planes, but when the object was on us, I could see the figure of the object like that of a perfect isosceles triangle. It had three white lights in the vertices, the colour of the UFO was very dark (could be black). It was huge, could be the size of half football's camp. It made no sound at all. The UFO disappeared flying in the direction north-east. I think that the phenomenon only lasted of 3 to 5 second, time in which it flew over the horizon completely, with an altitude between nine hundred to thousand five hundred meters.

Bright Orange Yellow Lights Witnessed In The Sky Over Seychelles
Date: January 13, 2010
Time: Late night.
Hi there, I too saw the mysterious lights over Seychelles on that day. Is there any explanation as to what happened. I was going to film it, but then I thought someone surely has to be responsible for this. (I am of the opinion there is some sort of logical explanation for this). The lights originated near the north of Mahe, near Glacis, and kept a straight line heading towards the south. At first it seemed like aircraft, but the lights were very bright and no noise emanated from them. They definitely were not aircraft. Best regards.
Additional Information:
Hi Brian, I was alerted to a bright light in the sky by my wife who was sitting on the outside verandah. It was late at night most likely on the date that is mentioned on your website. She asked if it was a plane, as it was a huge yellow to white colour light slowly going across the sky at a steady pace. I thought initially it was, but it was not accompanied by a sound which was rather odd.
Then another and another and another went by emanating from the same place, and following the same flight pattern. I thought it might be fireworks as was the huge brightness of the lights, but definitely it was not flying up then falling, rather it seemed to be coming from the ground at the north of Mahe island, reaching a height in the air, and keeping a steady course all the way across the sky. I am not sure of the numbers, but 11 sounds just about right as it was quite a number of them.
It was too bright a light to be an aeroplane, and did not have the usual blinking flight lights that aeroplanes have. It was a solid very large light with no sound. I tried to play it a bit cool, because she was convinced this was something unbelievable she was seeing, and I completely sort of dismissed it a little until I heard of your report that was featured in the Rising Sun newspaper here in Seychelles.
I know for sure other people must have seen it, and speaking to others whilst not seeing it themselves, have thought, because we have quite a few American warships and personnel staying here at the moment that it may have come from them.
It looked like a flare to tell you the truth, but the only thing countering that was that it continued in flight rather that fall down, as like I have said. It seemed to come from the ground to the north of the island. It certainly didn't look like it originated from the air. I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation for it, and that may surface, but hey if not, I'm happy with that also.
Sorry Brian, it was more of a bright orange light than yellow. Cheers.
Let me know if it is explained. Cheers.

Flotilla Of Orange Lights Over Leyland UK
Date: January 16, 2010
Time: Between 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
I live in Leyland and on Sat 16/1/10 saw a flotilla of orange lights passing over Leyland. There must have been over twenty of them between 9:00pm and 9.30pm They were four lights in a diamond shape with an orange glow like a halo surrounding them. They were also seen by my son, daughter, and wife. They did not flash lake aircraft lights but were on steady. they were moving quite quickly but we could hear no sound.. they were all heading in the same direction except for a couple which appeared to change direction two or three times and then get back on course. It would be interesting to know if anyone can explain them.

Orange Red Ball Of Light Seen Off The Coast Of St. Kitts
Date: January 13, 2010
Time: Evening.
Hello, I just got back from a Caribbean Cruise, aboard Celebrity Solstice. We were outside on the top deck, star gazing with the Ship's Astronomer and about 6 others when we all witnessed a red orange ball for about 6 seconds going from left to right, towards the constellation Leo which had Red Mars beside it. I was gauging the color of the smoothly gliding UFO to Planet Mars which was presented. The UFO was alternating deep orange to red/orange, while Mars was twinkling more orangish.
No doubt in my mind that it could not have been a large bird with a white underbelly like the ship's astronomer stated. The video on your site from January 1, 2010 was spot on with what I witnessed with others. We were not fortunate to have a camera with us at the time. We were off the coast of St. Kitts, on our way to St. Maarten. What was equally strange is how the other witnesses reacted! A couple said politely good night and walked away as if nothing out of the ordinary occurred! The other people were dumbfounded, talking as if they did not see what had just transpired!
Only one man sat next to me, quietly saying, "Thank you for being a witness to what I saw". I asked him if he thought it was a UFO, quiet reply, "Yes." Regards.

Bright Orange Balls Of Light Witnessed Over Crewe UK
Date: January 16, 2010
Time: 6:40 p.m.Location of Sighting: Crewe.
Number of witnesses: 5
Number of Objects: 7
Shape of Objects: Bright orange balls.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: We got out of the car and my son noticed 2 lights in the sky. We to see all the Manchester airport traffic, but this was not there flight path. They too came from the east and travelled in a line to of which were very close together. They eventually faded all at the same point but slowed first. I am a keen aviation enthusiast and have witnessed rocket launches at Kennedy.
This was like nothing I have seen before. We live in a 3 storey property with clear views over fields. There were stars visible in the sky at the time. There was very little cloud cover. Ten minutes later I have noticed a possible military aircraft in the area.

Bright Lights Over Callington Cornwall UK
Date: January 1, 2010
Time: 1:00 a.m.
Location of Sighting: Callington Cornwall.
Number of witnesses: 3
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Triangular.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hi, I'm (name removed) and I am 15 years old. I live in Callington Cornwall and at 1:00m on the January 1, 2010 I woke up because my dog was growling. I looked out my window and saw 3 bright lights in the sky slowly moving, then they stopped. I went to get my parents and they looked at the object and were worried about it.
At 6:30am the object had disappeared, so I felt relieved. At 5:49pm it re-appeared in the same spot, so I think it just went into camouflage mode, but it still hasn't moved and it is now 9:13pm and the object has moved about 5-6 centimeters away from it's original spot. When my mom had a look at it again at 6:41pm there were about 7 more light around it, in a trapezium shape. I am wondering do you have any idea if it is or isn't a UFO. Thank you for reading this.

New Years Eve Orange Light Sightings From Around The World - Chinese Lanterns
The Vike Factor posted 194 reported sightings, I received just under a total of 300 reports on orange lights in the night sky. Most of the sightings were in the U.K., others were in the United States and some in Ontario Canada. Also the majority of the lights were seen on New Years Eve and the sighting reports flew in.
The majority of the orange light sightings, some red also reported were Chinese Lanterns. Some I have no idea as to what they were. One report of a Black Triangle over the UK on December 31, 2009, but the rest of the reports, orange lights which turned out to be Chinese Lanterns.

Bright Orange Lights Seen Over Stevenston Ayrshire Scotland UK

Time: 00.05Location of Sighting: Stevenston Ayrshire.
Number of witnesses: two
Number of Objects: 5 or 6
Shape of Objects: Round.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were in the room upstairs of our house with the velux window open to hear the New Year bells. We live in Stevenston, Ayrshire. The sky was clear and the moon and stars were bright and easily seen. Two bright orange lights appeared in the sky. They were to the left side of our house which I think is west. They were travelling in the same direction but a distance apart. They were visible for about five minutes and as they travelled became smaller until they disappeared. Then two more appeared from the opposite direction, possibly east.
They were the very same description and travelling in the same way. Finally another one from the from the east appeared and the same thing happened. they travelled until they were out of our sight. there was no sound like helicopters or aircraft. we've never seen anything like this before, but have read of a similar sighting recently in our area.

Bright Orange Light Over Leyland Lancashire UK
Date: January 1, 2010
Time: After midnight.
Hi, I also saw bright orange light in the sky at midnight, they stood out from the fireworks as they moved very slowly across the sky vertically. There was probably about a dozen, seeing only 3 at a time as they moved from right to left they got dimmer. First thing I did this morning was Google it, but bizarrely struggled to find anything till I came across your post. I am in Leyland Lancashire, my wife also saw them as well. I can't think of any logical explanation but as it was midnight I imagine thousand of people will have seen it, surely if its all over the country it can't be a scam.

Red Lights Over Sandbach Cheshire UK - Chinese Lanterns
Date: January 1, 2010

Can't seem to comment on you're blog, but thought I'd email you to say we live in Sandbach Cheshire and saw loads of these red lights at about 12.30am, they just kept on coming. We saw two at first and thought they were planes following the same path, then the one at the rear got closer to the first one, then other lights just kept coming, very strange.
Some people have suggested Chinese lanterns, not so sure as they were moving too fast. Thanks.

10-15 Round Orange Lights Over Northwich Cheshire UK
Date: January 1, 2010
Time: Approx: 12:15 a.m.
Hi, A very unusual experience just after midnight on Jan 1st 2010, Northwich, Cheshire. I went outside to 'let out the old year and bring in the new' about 12.15am to see in a clear sky between 10-15 round orange objects. They were moving from a North/Northwesterly direction on a similar path. No sound or no aircraft lights. After travelling across the sky, they disappeared. The experience was witnessed by both myself and my wife. Any ideas?

They were moving from a North/Northwesterly direction on a similar path. No sound or no aircraft lights. After travelling across the sky, they disappeared. The experience was witnessed by both myself and my wife. Any ideas?

Orange Lights Over Rosyth UK
Date: January 1, 2010
Time: Approx: 02:35Hi Brian, from about midnight until about 02:35 my family and I saw the same orange lights over Rosyth. The first one seemed to be hovering over our house and it appeared to have a bright orange aura behind it. From then onwards they were spotted in groups of 3 and 4 at various times when they would disappear and then reappear. They changed direction and height and were inconsistent in their movements. Like you we got some photos but they were not very clear. very strange.

V Shape Of Orange Lights Disappear Over East Yorkshire
Date: January 1, 2010
Time: Approx: 00.15
Hi Brian, I have come across your website this morning after trying to establish what it is we saw last night.
About 00.15 having just watched the London Firework display on the TV our cat started acting strangely and was looking out of the back door with ears back and quite distressed. I looked out of the door expecting to find either a dog or fox or suchlike in the garden but instead saw a series of orange lights, we all watched, they went over the house towards to the Humber river in waves. We saw about 16 of them but there had probably been more judging by the cats behavior.
The final three we saw drew closer together and formed a V shape turning in the sky and then finally disappeared over East Yorkshire at about 00.40. My husband looked at the last ones through binoculars and said there was a white light within the orange circle. They made no sound, were slow moving so were no aircraft that we generally see over these parts. My children stayed looking for a further 10 - 15 minutes but no more came over.
Do you know what we saw? I have seen that similar sightings were in Nuneaton and Glasgow, we are in Goxhill North Lincolnshire.
I would be grateful of any information.
Many thanks and regards.

A Multitude Of Orange Glowing Lights Harrogate UK
Date: January 1, 2010
Time: Midnight.
Hello, just got up after New Years Eve party and checked the internet as we too saw something in the sky last night. We live in Harrogate. At midnight same as you we looked out the window to see the fireworks and saw the same as you. A multitude of orange glowing lights moving steadily across the sky. They looked like they were burning, almost like orange paper lanterns, and moving at speed like airplanes.
The lights moved in a north south direction and continued for over half an hour. Up to fifteen in the sky at once. Some were glowing brighter than others. They appeared to be coming from the vicinity of Menwith Hill. There were 4 witnesses to this. I did take some photos, but they're not very good. I would love to know what they are!

Orange Lights Over Rodley UK
Date: January 1, 2010
Time: 12:05 a.m.
Yes it's true, as I was walking home having just watched some fantastic fireworks. I was still looking up into the sky when I noticed an orange light above me. Then I noticed another, then another and another. In total there must have been at least 20 weaving in and out of each other and heading in an easterly direction. So the person who saw these lights over Garforth at 12.10 would be correct. I saw these lights in Rodley at 12.05.

Orange Glowing Lights Over Wednesbury West Midlands UK
Date: January 1, 2010
Time: 00:00 - 00:30
Location of Sighting: Wednesbury, West Midlands.
Number of witnesses: 20
Number of Objects: 20 - 30
Shape of Objects: Circular.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hello, while at a New Years party at my brothers we all went outside onto the front garden. Then around 00:05 we saw one orange glowing light moving left to right to right across our vision as another one did the same the other way. They then seemed to speed off into the distance facing the same direction as we were. Then we saw three coming left to right then another single one coming right to left. We then saw several more. We thought he had stopped but when I went outside a bit later I saw another one on its own. My brothers fiancé and her friend said they saw a very big version of the orange lights but much faster too. Sorry about the vague report. I see other people have reported it too.

Orange Light Sighting Over Walsall UK
Date: January 1, 2010
Time: After Midnight.Last night my family were setting off fireworks when we all saw the strange orange lights in the sky. They were all travelling in the same direction quite fast making no sound. All in groups of 2, 4 or more. They were appearing and disappearing for some time, they were quite bright and at one time one of these stopped to let the one behind go in front before they both disappeared. We forgot the fireworks and just all watched amazed at the sighting.
