Bright Orange Light Made Up Of Hexagons Seen Flying Toward Beverley Yorkshire England UK

Hi, not seen in your area, but saw something very similar in Hull, UK in 2009. It was moving very slowly travelling down Beverly Road towards Beverly.

It was bright orange light made up of hexagons. It also looked like it had a crescent shape to it, but that wasn't clear what was, was the big circular orange light made of hexagons.

The shape of the hexagons could be seen as the outline of each hexagon making up the circular light was a brighter orange/amber. Kind regards.

Bright Blue Light Shoots Across The Sky Over Shipley West Yorkshire

It was fast and I don't know what it was, there was only one.

Two Balls Of Light/UFOs Make Unbelievable Maneuvers In The Sky Near Garroby Hill East Yorkshire England UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was travelling to Selby North Yorkshire, England, from Kirby Underdale which is situated at the top of Garrowby Hill, East Yorkshire, England.

I turned onto the A166, a road that spans from York to Bridlington. I was heading towards York at this point.

Upon my turning right onto this road, I instantly noticed two lights travelling, side by side at the same speed tracking parallel to my car, it was almost as if it was the reflection on the glass.

I realized that this was not the case after maybe 8 to 10 seconds of keen observation, the object's moved at a faster pace in the opposite direction (the right, back the way I came) about a centimeter in distance from my perspective.

The object of light to the left (I have shivers writing this) accelerated off to the left in the opposite direction to the way they had initially started moving, steady at first then bolting off at an incredible pace to the likes of which I had never seen.

The other light (the only way to describe it) "chased" after it at the same speed.

I was shocked to a state that I rang my mother who's house I had just left to explain what I had just seen.

Being in the Royal Navy, and having first hand knowledge of flight observation, the mechanics of flight and fast moving air contacts, limitations and air patterns, what they look like from a distance, in day and night.

I know that those "lights", moved as an actual air craft due to their displacement in time, speed and acceleration.

In my opinion, the pair of white bright lights at approximately 3 to 5 miles away in the sky that night where pushing, not only "the envelope," but unworldly speeds, that in my experience where well in the excess of mach 5, in a matter of seconds.

The two objects travelled across the sky until my vision was blocked by horizon tree line. It would of taken a fighter jet 10 seconds at least to get to that point. They where there in maybe 4 or 5.

I strung together an unsuccessful list of possible objects that move in this manor, there isn't any.

I was the only vehicle in the area, it wasn't until a mile down the road I passed a car heading the other way.

Orange Lights In The Sky Over South Yorkshire UK

Hello, I was just Google-ing orange lights in the sky as yesterday night (27th August 2012) me and my girlfriend was driving to see a friend, when my partner told me to stop. What are those orange lights in the sky?

I personally find the UFO phenomena very fascinating and therefore stopped and had a look. By this time the damn things had gone. I wish she had drove, grrrrr. We then went to a local observatory (hoober stand) to see if we could see anything, but didn't.

If needed we could go to the sight of the sighting and give rough direction of the whereabouts of the UFOs. Seen over South Yorkshire.

Bright White Light With Orange Broken Tail Seen Over West Vale Greetland West Yorkshire England UK

Hi, just seen something similar tonight over West Vale/Greetland. It was a bright white light at the front with an orange, broken tail.

It seemed very low in the sky and passed just in front of us. Thought it was the police helicopter at first it was so bright and close!

I was wondering if anyone else had seen it when I came across your request for sightings online.

10 Bright Lights Spotted Over Sheffield South Yorkshire UK

On the 25th of June 2009, me and mate had walked to Tesco on Infirmary Road. We were walking back, probably about two hundred yards from the Wednesday ground opposite Owlerton and the casino.

 

Outside Pizza Hut we saw about 10 bright lights in the sky. So we walked towards Hillsborough to see if we could see what they where. We couldn’t identify what they were.

Ball Of Fire Travels Across The Sky Over Pye Nest Halifax West Yorkshire UK

H, I saw a strange object on Saturday night (March 3, 2012) over Pye Nest in Halifax. I was in my mates garden smoking a cigarette when I saw what looked like a comet/asteroid, and quickly pointed to the object. 

 

My friend turned around and noted, that it can't be an asteroid as it's too low and it didn't stop, it just carried on going across the sky.

 

It looked like a fire work, but it didn't behave like a firework as it was travelling too far (west to east) and fast.

 

With hind sight, it was like a missile, but a bit too crackly. It was below cloud cover and the best description is that of your other commentators, a fire ball.

I was with my two mates, when I looked up in the sky and saw a huge blob of fire, at first I thought 'what's that? Is it a rocket' then we looked on the news and it was a meteorite.

 

The colours were so nice and colourful, they weren’t white!

 

No white at all, it was like fire, and it was orange and red.

Orange Spear Shaped Blazing Light Over Pendlebury Hebden Bridge West Yorkshire UK

Hi, me and my partner were coming home in car tonight, round about  9:45/50 p.m. on Halifax Road Between Todmorden and Hebden Bridge. Very fast moving, speared to make large almost triangular blaze of orange light, we couldn't tell what the light was attached to.

 

It was beautiful and blew us both away. But amazingly too, we'd just been to music concert where lights in hall turned on and off several times and for about a mile on the road all street lights were completely out!

 

I've read of several other sightings in both South and West Yorks at about the same time. Did anyone else experience the sudden lapse in electricity? I can't believe that was coincidental.

Me and my partner were just setting off for a walk, in Crofton Wakefield which is in West Yorkshire, about 9:45 p.m. tonight (Saturday 3rd March) when we spotted what we thought was a shooting star.

But as someone said, it was bigger and visible for longer. It looked to have big orange lines coming from it. We wondered if it could have been a meteor!?Glad somebody else saw it too!

It was visible for quite a bit longer than the other shooting stars I have ever seen, I Googled shooting star over Halifax, and hence that is why I am replying now, as never seen anything like it before!

Spherical Orange Ball Of Light Over Slaithwaite Huddersfield Yorkshire England United Kingdom

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I actually first saw this around a month ago, when I was leaving work in Birstall. It hovered in the sky, very plainly obvious. Then, as I drove home it seemed to expand and then disappear.

 

It then reappeared on the 6th February, again, hovering, motionless in the sky near Birstall. It was in a different part of the sky to last time. I watched it, but sadly had no recording equipment on me. As I drove home it went out of sight and out of mind.

 

Later that evening I went for a run to Slaithwaite and back from my house in Milnsbridge, about 3 miles each way. As I turned to begin the 3 miles run back home, I looked up and it was there, right ahead of me. As I ran, I realized I was getting closer and it wasn't too far away.

 

I watched it all the way as I ran, until several minutes later I physically passed directly beneath the light. It was motionless, soundless, around the size of a helicopter and no more than 200 meters from the ground.

 

It just hung there. It glowed orange, but the light seemed to change, flickering white/red. I watched over my shoulder as I ran home, and the minute I got home I dragged my house mate out to check that it was actually there and I wasn't mental.

 

She confirmed she could also see it, although by this point we were 2 miles away from it and so she couldn't vouch for it's size or locality. Very weird. Would love to know if anybody else saw it too! It was in the sky for a good few hours.

Two friends and I saw a succession of brightly lit orange globes following the same trajectory over Sheffield (south) on Saturday 12 September 2009 at 21:00. There were 6 or 7 that followed the exact same path, although they appeared nearer the approaching horizon as the earth span on her axis.

 

These UFO's had the same shape and approximate speed as I saw on the Chinese Island of Hainan (in the South China Sea) in the month of July 2005, with another friend. Except these ones altered path, they made about a 70 degree turn on this occasion.

Bright Round Orange Light Over York North Yorkshire UK

I was just outside in my garden tonight (25/8/09) and spotted a really bright round orange light. My boyfriend and I have never seen anything like it. It travelled from left to right across the sky, moving really quickly and then just disappeared.

 

It was completely silent so it couldn't have been a plane or helicopter and it was far too bright to be a Chinese lantern. It looked like a giant fireball. Anyone else spot it in York,North Yorkshire tonight?

Orange Lights Over Leeds West Yorkshire UK

 

Date:  December 2010 to early months of 2011

Time:  Evenings.

 

In relation to strange orange lights over Leeds my girlfriend and myself witnessed a number of these lights from December 2010 to early months of 2011.

We have not seen any more since.

They were bright orange and to myself look possibly triangular in shape but difficult to make out the full shape.

 

Some moved at a slow pace from south to north and others seemed to stay in the same position.

No engine noise could be heard nor could we spot normal aircraft lights. The sky was otherwise clear with stars.
