Red Lights Seen Over Weston Super Mare North Somerset England UK

Hi, I was looking online to see if anything had been reported previously, but cannot see anything similar. Just before I was about to retire to bed, I was in my garden having a cigarette whilst looking at the stars on a clear night.

I have been caught out previously by seeing lights in the sky, but I believe turned out to be satellites looking from reports on the internet.

This time though, it was very different. I saw a red light moving much faster across the sky, I dismissed this being a aircraft as there was no other flashing lights coming from it. This was a solid red light moving at speed extremely high up in a straight line.

At first I thought It may be another satellite, but from the position of the sun reflecting from it, it appear red to the eye. About five seconds later the object moved in a giant “S” shape across the sky and disappeared over the top of my house.

This was strange enough and I ran to the bottom to see if I could see it further, but a second later another red light appeared from the same place I first spotted the first one. This one however was moving much faster, but moving in a straight line in the same direction as the first as if it was following it.

I often look at the stars on a night, but have never seen anything like this before. I am forty years of age and can honestly say it was something out of the ordinary. Nothing earth like or man made, that's for sure.

I have never written to any site or anyone before, but this had made be think that there is more going on than we know.

Orange Object/UFO Disappeared In A Flash Over Bridgwater Bay Somerset England UK

Time:  Evening.

Hi, in 2011 I was cycling at night by Hinkley Point in Bridgwater. I was cycling the costal path and to my left was Bridgwater Bay and in front of me Hinkley point power station.

Suddenly to my left over the bay was an orange light which hovered for a moment and then with a big flash disappeared. Looking online I read somebody also saw this on the Cardiff side of the Bay.

To this day I have no idea what it was and as you can see still Google to see if anyone else has seen things -

Red/Orange Lights In The Sky Over Somerset West South Africa

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At about 23:00 on 24/12/2012 we saw 2 objects, looking like flares over Somerset West, but the objects seemed to be moving toward us.

It was moving with a even gap between the two from Somerset West side toward Sir Lowrey's Pass. We lost sight of them after about 5 minutes. Three more then appeared and was also moving in the same direction.

There was some clouds over the mountain that blocked our view of them as they moved further.

A few minutes later we saw as few more that behaved in the same way. It looked like flares, with a bright red/orange light, but the objects did not move up and then down as a flare would do.

They moved from left to right as we were viewing from Strand, sometimes going higher and lower, until we lost sight in the clouds.

4 Orange Colored Lights Observed Over Somerset West Cape Town South Africa

Time:  9:45 p.m.

 

Hi Brian, last night at 9h45, I noticed 3 orange lights travelling from the Simons town area towards the northern suburbs. They were what seemed to be increasing in altitude at a constant rate. 

When the first two seemed to turn towards Cape Town, my daughter saw the 4th one coming from the same direct in exactly the same path/route, until this one also turned and disappeared out of sight.

We also saw an aircraft flying toward JHB and specifically noticed the typical strobe lights flashing on the aircraft. But these red/orange blobs appeared to just glow with no flashing lights or anything.

The pictures I took, when zoomed in looked like elliptical in shape, but it was dark and they were very far away.

5 Orange Lights Observed Over Somerset West Cape Town South Africa

At about 22:10 p.m. on 7 January 2012 a friend and I were driving in Somerset West Cape Town, when we saw 5 orange lights moving in the sky in a funny manner.

 

We were astounded, and saw other people also noticing these objects. What a hair raising experience.

Orange Ball Of Light Seen Over Somerset South West England UK

My husband and I in Somerset saw a very similar orange round ball of light last night going from east to west above our back garden. It was about 5:45 p.m. It moved very slowly and silently in a straight line then seemed to go straight up quite slowly until it just disappeared high in the sky.

 

Anybody see the same thing on the 4/11/2008., in Somerton and Somerset. UK.

Large Bright Orange/Red Ball Of Flame Over Castle Cary Somerset UK

Date: October 1994 and 1995

Time: Approx: 7:30 p.m.

Hi Brian, I have just been Googling fireballs, to see if there was any information on what I saw twice, first time in October 1994 and then almost exactly a year later. It was roughly the same time 7:30 in the evening and the same place Castle Cary Somerset and going in the same direction, west to east. What I saw was a big bright orange and red ball of flame, the size of the sun going quite slowly (not like a meteor).

It was completely silent and was going low and horizontally across the sky and disappeared behind a hill. Castle Cary is 25 miles east of Bridgewater where Brian had spotted his and the way he describes it on your website sounds exactly what I saw.

I've always wondered what it was that I had seen, and why I have seen this phenomena twice in the same place a year apart. I have told lots of people over the years about it and have been looking on the internet for either photos or videos of something similar, but there is nothing like it.

Could you shed some light on it, as I would love to know what it was I saw. You are welcome to put what I saw on your website, I know it was 16 years ago, but who knows someone else may have seen it and will stumble across your website like I did. Kind regards.

4 Spherical Lights Over Somerset UK

Hello, According to your post on World UFO's you saw some spherical lights on the sky, in response I actually saw the same thing about 4 of them at around 00:00 GMT New Year, 1/1/2011 over Somerset UK. I don't think there was any kind of formation.

Orange Ball Of Fire Over Bridgwater Somerset England UK

Hi there, I was just Googling to try and find out what we had seen this evening.

My girlfriend and I were travelling through Bridgwater, Somerset, town center along Broadway at about 5.15 pm on 24/12/10.

We both had a clear view from the car of an object we could only describe as like an orange ball of fire travelling horizontally across the sky until we lost sight of the object as we drove out of its view.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I just went outside to say goodnight to my in-laws going home after New Years. Coming from the north a bright orange round object, not very high, but moving very fast, we all watched as it passed overhead heading south. It made no sound at all then it was gone.It was not going in the direction of the wind.

Orange Lights Over Yeovil Somerset UK

Hi there, there has been more of those orange lights you have talked about. I live in Yeovil, Somerset, UK and last night while I was putting the recycling out. I spotted 3 bright orange orbs in the sky. I was not sure what time it was now (about 9:00pm) but then came another 3 then more, about 40 all together, but most in packs of three and some went from orange to red and traveling quite fast and quite low. All flew towards Westlands and then disappeared. Really odd.

Description: Visible through window, bright red flattened disk for app 15 to 20 seconds visible moved to open window until they restricted by house. Very clear, very easy to follow. No sound once window opened.

Westonzoyland, Somerset, England UFO 20 Feet Off The Ground

Weather Conditions: Clear night, bright half moon shining, no wind.

Description: I noticed as I was driving along to my right, two red lights about 150 yards away parallel to me and following me. I said to my wife who was with me, what do think that is. With that the object was in front of me some 50 yards and 20 ft off the ground. It rotated and started to spin with no noise showing me its shape (cross) and size about 25 ft in dia. With that another car was coming from the opposite direction and it zoomed off in seconds and disappeared.

Yeovil, Somerset, UK Obtuse Triangles (UFOs)

Shape of objects: Obtuse Triangles.
Weather Conditions: Partial cloud, shortly after a lightning storm.

Description: "We were watching the end of a lighting storm, and as the clouds passed over, we noticed what we thought was a star,we only noticed this because we realized that it was moving towards us very quickly. We focused on it for a short time, and saw that it was changing color and so was its brightness. It alternated between white and orange and blue.we then became aware of three more "stars" swept behind it, rather like the shape of a delta. It was then that we kept getting glimpses of the outer edge of whatever this was, we saw what appeared to be the outer edge of a large triangle very high in the sky, and it was only at brief moments that we could see this.

We then began to notice that it was moving closer to the other three "stars". The same thing happened for the other three, brief glimpses of the outer edges. It then seemed that they were interacting with each other, moving closer too and from each other quite quickly. The 4 lined back up in delta form, and stayed completely still. I was curious so I ran upstairs to fetch my SLR camera which has a large telephoto lens and would have enabled me to completely focus on this bizarre feature in the sky.

When I returned I managed to find exactly where this bizarre anomaly in the sky was, however, my camera was completely unable to focus on it, and whenever it almost made focus, it would become unfocused.

I found this very alarming. Eventually our unusual sighting became completely motionless. After 35 minutes of avid watching we decided, whatever it was had finished wanting to attract our attention, so we went indoors once more.

When we were there we discussed what it could have been. We thought that it couldn't be an aircraft as no aircraft could stay still for such a long time, in complete silence. What we saw had severely disturbed me, and I was shaking for the rest of the evening in shock, as was my friend."

There you go! I wonder what happened then!
