Strange Orange Colored Lights Seen Over Polmont Falkirk Scotland

Date:  May 2, 2011
Time:  12:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Number of witnesses: 3
Number of Objects: 10
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Three weeks ago roughly, me and my brother are in the drive with the telescope looking at the moon, when strange lights get our attention from above a the Klondyke garden centre at the Polmont Motorway turn off.

Flashing blue and red in a random pattern, hovering going back and forward, wasn't sure what it was, could have been a chopper, though we seen several of them, but then there was what we thought was a star fairly low on the horizon.

It started moving slowly upward, then it just took off and arched way up over us and went towards the BP area.

Tonight on our way back from Stirling, there was a low dim orange orb low in the sky, once we drove round to get a better view it was gone.

Then further down a bright orange light, like a BP flame but nowhere near the BP, road took us away from it though. When we pulled up in Polmont, we have the top down on car and look up at the sky, must have seen about 10 things moving at different times from between 12:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.

They looked like satellites, but they didn’t have a straight trajectory, they were weaving and changing direction. Then one thing was low and took off at serious high speed, but was not a shooting star, for sure.
Was a lot of activity in the sky for sure. Did anyone else see these things?

4 Or 5 Orange And Blue Lights Seen From Falkirk UK

Date:  May 6, 2011
Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Me and my wife live just  the south side of Falkirk. Around 10:00 p.m. we witnessed 4 or five distant orange and blue lights to the south of us, maybe near Slamannan. They were moving in a random pattern, which became circular.

One by one they slowly disappeared into the distance. It was so unusual, that we both turned all the lights off and later went outside.

Call me a skeptic, but the only thing I can think of, other than UFO’s is aircraft in a holding pattern preparing to land at Edinburgh or Cumbernauld. Maybe a flying school training session ?

Hovering Bright Orange Light Over Denny Falkirk UK

Date: October 15, 2010
Time: 9:30 p.m.

I have just walked in from work and the time is 21.30. Whilst walking up from the bus stop in Denny, I looked up to the sky thinking how clear it was, and that the moon was really bright. Then I noticed to the left of the moon, and what seemed quite near, I saw a bright orange light. It didn't flicker or move.

It just seemed to hover there. I kept watching it whilst I was walking along the pavement - almost ending up in front of a car and then all of a sudden, it seemed to shoot very fast away from the direction I was stood. And literally in a split second, it was gone.

2 minutes after I got in, my husband came through the front door. I told him I thought I had seen a UFO, and he then described to me what I had seen. He had just seen the same thing. I am one of these people who will try and give a reasonable explanation first. But this time I was stumped. And really can't think of anything that would explain what we had just seen.

10 Orange Lights Seen Over Laurieston Falkirk Central Scotland UK

Date: September 11, 2010
Time: Approx: 9:05 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Laurieston Falkirk Central Scotland UK.
Number of witnesses: 4
Number of Objects: More than ten.
Shape of Objects: Orange Spheres.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Myself and a friend had returned to my home after a day out at approx: 8.45pm. We were sitting in my kitchen having a conversation with my brother when he left to go up to the bathroom. My brother had made it half way up the stairs to the bathroom, when he shouted for us to come quickly to the window on the landing because he claimed there were lights in the sky.

My friend and I quickly run up the stairs to the window and looked out to see two orange circular lights in the sky. Our landing on the stairs window looks out eastward from the back of our house onto neighboring houses and we could see these lights in the sky above them and also in the space between two of these houses, which are separated by a communal pathway about 30 feet apart.

I ran back to the kitchen and grabbed my video camera, ran back to the window and began filming best I could through the window, by this time a third orange light had moved in from the south appearing from behind the house opposite to join the other two lights and formed a triangle. During this time my niece who was in the living room had joined us so there was now four of us watching this.

The third light that had appeared faded and disappeared after about 10 seconds leaving the other two still there, then a fourth orange light again came from the right hand side and joined the other two which were by this time becoming more faint until they could not be seen anymore.

This same "joining in" of orange lights moving towards the same area of the sky kept happening again and again, we had counted at least 10 of these orange lights moving in a straight line across the sky before they became harder to see before disappearing into the clouds it seemed.

All this time I was trying to capture all this on video which was quite difficult to do because I was filming through the glass and had to zoom into the night sky through the glass for the camera to pick them up, I managed to capture at least five of these orange lights on the video.

This was a very surreal experience for all four of us watching these very unusual lights and how they behaved, we are all very agreed that they were not planes, helicopters, fireworks, Chinese lanterns or anything that would be familiar to us because of the fact they were certainly not anything familiar at all.

Fast Moving Glowing Orange Ball Over Stenhousemuir Near Falkirk Scotland

Date: August 5, 2010
Time: Approx: 10:45 p.m.

Dear Brian, just writing to tell you of a strange experience I had tonight in Stenhousemuir near Falkirk, Scotland.

The local news had reported that the northern lights would be visible in Scotland tonight (5/8/10) so before I got into bed I decided to look out the window into the sky. It was around 10.45pm and everything looked fairly normal and calm however I decided to keep watching for a few minutes.

Suddenly a glowing orange ball appeared in the sky from behind a tree line. It was moving what seemed to be very fast yet wasn't moving like a plane or helicopter. It continued in a southward direction towards Falkirk town centre before changing direction and heading east towards Edinburgh.

I thought at first that it was a meteorite however when it changed direction I began to be a bit more suspicious. It then disappeared into thin air after about 10 seconds of changing direction to the east.

Needless to say I was pretty shocked at witnessing such an event but the true amazement set in when I decided to do a quick Google search for "orange ball of light over Falkirk" and numerous hits were found. The first was a link to your site which had a post from 25th July 2010 describing exactly what I saw tonight. There are also sightings of the same object dating back to may 2010 and beyond.

Anyway, I read your site entry and the comment to email you if a similar event was seen so I'm just sending this email your way. Hope it helps.

Orange Glowing Balls Of Light Over Bainsford Falkirk UK

Date: July 25, 2010
Time: Approx: 11:10 p.m.

Hi, I'm (name removed) and I had a very strange experience last night Sunday 25/7/2010 at about 23:10. I was watching the TV just about to go to my bed when I saw a orange glowing light bigger than a plane and flying very different to a plane or helicopter.

It was flying from the Camelon direction towards my flat in Bainsford Falkirk. This ball of light flew towards my direction for about 10 seconds then veered off to the left and flew for about another 5 seconds in the direction of Falkirk town centre and then it disappeared.

I tried to get my mobile to take a picture of it, but couldn't get the video camera bit to work. I then seen another 2 of them appeared where the first 1 appeared from. So I ran downstairs in my boxers and chaped my down stairs neighbours window as I wanted someone else's verification as well as mine.

We ran out front and the 2 that were still in the sky flying very close to each other, way to close for helicopters or planes to fly next to each other. They proceeded to follow the same path as the first one, i.e. towards me for about 10 seconds then swept to the left for about 5 seconds then disappeared.

It seemed like they were looking for the first one. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and I'm glad my neighbour witnessed it as well. He was terrified and ran back in the house.

I told my family about what happened and my mum came across this site today/Monday and told me about the girl in Camelon seeing the same things. Well Camelon last week, Camelon is only 2 miles away from myself in Bainsford, Falkirk. I am so glad there has been other sightings as I am not sure what to do about this, contact the police. Regards.

5 Orange Objects Over Camelon Falkirk UK

Date: July 17 and 18th, 2010
Time: Approx: 00:10 - 00:15

Location of Sighting: Camelon Falkirk.
Number of witnesses: 3
Number of Objects: 5
Shape of Objects: N/A.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was looking out my window watching for my boyfriend and his friend coming in at about ten past midnight and saw my friend walking straight past my house looking up at the sky and just at that moment, I caught the lights out the corner of my eye. I ran out to see what it was as it was bright orange, it is not something you see normally and couldn't believe what I was looking at.

There were 5 orange objects flying across the sky, they looked like really bright stars, that's the only way I can describe them and I walked half way down my street with my friend watching them. I was pretty scared, they were going quite slow and then they stopped for a second, then moved off again.

My street was silent as it was quite late and no cars either, but not a sound from the sky either and I thought surely if 5 helicopters were flying in a pattern like that, and quite low you'd have to hear something, but total silence.

Then they disappeared into the clouds, I'm still quite shocked and am hoping there is a reasonable explanation for it, but who see's 5 helicopter's all together like that with no sound and with bright orange lights.

I only wish I'd grabbed my mobile. I saw the same thing about a month or so ago, not sure exactly when at about 11:30pm or just after exact same light that was in the Polmont/Brighton area of Falkirk, but there was only one and thought that helicopter has a bright orange light. I just thought it was a new night light thing or something and never thought about it again until last night. How can we find out if it was or wasn't some kind of military aircraft? Sincerely.

5 Bright Red Lights Over Wallacestone Near Falkirk, Scotland

Date: January 18, 2010
Time: 18:50 - 19:00

Location of Sighting: Wallacestone nr Falkirk, Scotland.
Number of witnesses: 3
Number of Objects: 5
Shape of Objects: Could not distinguish.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Earlier this evening my wife, eldest daughter and I noticed a bright red light progressing from the north in a southeasterly direction towards Falkirk. The light grew in intensity, slowed then climbed at a steady rate and disappeared. As soon as one light disappeared another one followed taking an identical flight path.

The 4th and 5th lights appeared simultaneously and followed an identically shaped trajectory albeit one remained further to the North over the Ochil Hills. This evening was a very clear night. No aircraft jet stream was visible, no flashing aircraft wing/tail lights and no noise. We are situated 600 feet above sea level and had an unobstructed view.

Five Red Lights Over Falkirk Central Scotland UK

Date: January 1, 2010
Time: After midnight.

Hi, I read your post about lights over Bognor. We saw five red lights over Falkirk, Central Scotland just after midnight last night (New Year), they were very bright, three heading in a line towards Edinburgh, and two to the west that just went straight up. We live on a flight route from Edinburgh airport so are used to jets at night, these were instantly different, they were as bright as a flare, and moving towards the usual flight routes. And who fly's at midnight on New Year.
