Multi Colored Light/Object In The Sky Over Maesteg Bridgend County Borough Wales

Date:  February 2, 2015
Time:  Approximately 6:50 p.m.

My father, friend and I saw a weird multi colored flashing star over Maesteg last night at around 18:50.

We got out the binoculars to take a better look it, it was flashing red, blue, green, orange and a kind of ultra violet purple.

I don't know what it was, but it was there for about 10 minutes and then slowly moved.

UFO Shrouded In Mist On The Ground At Glyn Ciriog North Wales (Written Report/Audio Interview)

Date: October 4, 1996
Time: Approximately 7:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Glyn Ciriog North Wales.
Number of witnesses: 6
Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: One was a disc the other was a sphere.

Full Description of event/sighting: My partner Steve and I rented a cottage for the weekend in Glyn Ciriog, North Wales. We went with his sister and uncle, his nephew and my son. We'd been out walking for the day, got back to the cottage and had some food.

I had gone upstairs to unpack and have a wash etc.. I heard Steve calling my name so I went outside to investigate. He told me to look in the distance because he could see some lights in the clouds. It was a very overcast night, it had been raining for most of the day.

At first I could see nothing, I had to really concentrate to see anything at all. Then I spotted a flickering in the clouds very far away, it was so small.

My initial thought was that it was lightening, until I realized that the flashing followed a uniformed pattern. We shouted for the others to come outside and look.

They came out and we stood there watching the regular pattern of lights which seemed to be moving nearer to our position and was traveling in a zig zag fashion.

After a while the lights started to move towards us a bit faster. I still think to this day that, "it" noticed us. It came to be right in front of us over a field then it changed it's position to be right above our heads at about 200 feet max. We were all whooping and hollering. I can tell you that we felt no threat which still bothers me.

It was above us for maybe ten or fifteen minutes when something caught my attention and I looked behind me. I saw a mist on the ground in front of some trees which was glowing a grey white light which gave the appearance of a smaller spherical craft which pulsed every two seconds.

I drew the others attention to it, they looked and said "Oh yes", and we all promptly forgot about it and continued to look up at the disc shaped craft above our heads.

This one had a center circle of light with an outer ring of light, but lines of light were coming from the center to the outer ring and they were rotating.

We could not see the craft itself because it was inside the clouds, but very low to us as we were on top of a hill. It reminded me of the underside of a mushroom and at times looked like a neon jelly fish as the light moved through the different densities of the clouds.

My son who was five at the time became very scared. We had told the children that it was nothing to worry about because it was lights from a farmers tractor reflecting off the underside of the clouds.

After a while as it came to be above us, this reason didn't wash with them. He tugged on my jumper and told me that a hand had come through the hedge in front of us and touched his foot. It didn't occur to us that these crafts might have had occupants.

We all went inside the house to take the children back in. The two other adults went straight into the living room and started watching television and Steve began to either wash up or dry the dishes, I cannot recall which.

I looked at everyone is total disbelief. You would think we had just been watching a few fireworks and that the show was over but these things were still outside.

To this day I have no idea what possessed me, but I stomped back outside and continued to watch the craft from below it on my own. No one tried to stop me and I had forgotten about the craft on the ground and the hand immediately.

I stood underneath it watching it until I heard footsteps running behind me. I have no idea if this was anything other than an animal, but it scared the hell out of me because it brushed past my back and dragged my jumper.

At this point I ran for my life. I did not look back, so I have no idea what it was, it could have been a sheep, but I don't believe it was because a sheep would probably only reach my backside and not above my waist.

I ran into the house and was very, very frightened. I told Steve what had happened and he calmly looked at the clock and said, "well you weren't out there long so you haven't any missing time". Looking back, that was a very strange statement to make.

I made him lock the doors and close the curtains. We put the children to bed and I sat in the middle of the bed totally petrified. I was having a panic attack.

Steve did his best to calm me down, but I would not be left alone, not even to go to the toilet. My memory from here is not very good, I think due to the massive rush of adrenalin I had, parts of my memory function were shutting down. All I can recall is that we all went to bed and went to sleep. I did not look out of the windows again, I didn't dare. I don't know if Steve did either. Never the less we did go to bed and I believe that the craft(s) stayed behind.

This event made me very ill. I became withdrawn and depressed. I now know that I have suffered from PTSD. It changed my life completely.

My experience has been featured in UFO Data magazine and since this time I have been an active researcher in the topic and I have spoken publicly. I have never reported this story to another party other than the UFO Data team.

Bright Flashing Light Seen Over Maesteg Wales UK

Time:  Evening.

 

Hi my name is (name removed). I was on my way home last night and saw one light that looked like a star, but was too low to be one. When we got home, we ran up stairs to get a better view.

 

The object was so close I could see it with binoculars, it was a flashing bright light with blue and red light. At first I thought it was nothing, maybe a plane, but after 10-20 minutes it hadn't moved.

 

I saw this to the west of a town in Wales called Maesteg and a few of my friends had as well. My girlfriend who was with me said she saw.

 

What she described to me as fire works. What struck me as odd was, the fact it had dimmed a few times only to come back a few seconds later.

Three Bright Red Lights Seen Over Shell Cove New South Wales Australia

Bright Red Glowing Object Over Picnic Point New South Wales Australia

I've had a similar encounter, the bright red glow was too bright to be a aircraft light, yet it was too artificial to be a flare. It drifted down then floated up then drifted down.

 

This was in Australia NSW Picnic Point. 3:00 a.m. on the 9th February 2008.

Very bright, looked to be close, maybe 5 or 6 houses down.

Was very strange to see it float up and drift back down.

Orange Lights Observed Over Bracelet Bay Gower Peninsula South Wales UK

 

Date:  November 5, 2011

Time:  Evening.

 

Hi there, as I was at Bracelet Bay with my girlfriend (evening of 5th November), and we had to wait for the bus homewards, we saw, for sure 5 times, orange lights. They seemed to appear from the north, traveling towards sea (south). My guess was they flew above Gower, Southwest Wales-UK.

 

The lights were orange, not really bright, but constant (no flashing). At first we thought they were fireworks due to the remembrance day fireworks or fighter jets with afterburner on. I’m no expert in aviation, but I do know that planes have bright red, and flashing white lights.

 

Also the light traveled amongst a steady and linear path, which fireworks never do (curved path). Three of the lights traveled at the same path with intervals of say 5 minutes. The other two were lower on the horizon. The lights faded like, in a fraction of a second, as if they switched off.

 

Our location was Bracelet Bay. We sat on the parking lot of the restaurant at Mumbles lighthouse, and we looked westwards.
 

My girlfriend, living in Skewen (Wales), reminded me about the lights this morning, and mentioned she saw the same type of light from her bedroom window (eastbound, looking from Skewen towards Port Talbot) She said the light traveled the same direction, same colour, linear path and vanished after say half a minute. 

 

She said, if you saw it you would be sure it wasn’t fireworks at all. Of course it could be some sort of jet plane (my first thought)but we don’t know if there’s any base around the area.

 

I’m not saying it was an UFO in a way of spacecraft, but I’m sure it wasn’t fireworks, and for a plane it looked to odd, I mean in the dark one can make out the lights, and they don’t. switch off al in the sudden (my guess).

Hope it was detailed enough, at least it amazed us a bit while we waited for the bus. Fireworks were up here and there, so we had our eyes fixed on the sky. Cheers.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was laying on back looking up at the sky at about 10:00 at night around 1995 in Sydney NSW Australia when I saw a strange black triangular (looks like Northrop Grumman plane flying backwards?) craft which was blacker than the night sky.

Large Bright Neon Red Ball Of Light Over Bonnyrigg New South Wales Australia

Time: Approx: 1:00 a.m.

Hi Brian, I was just watching something on TV about UFO sightings in WW2 and one in particular was described just as I had seen years back. I searched Google and found your site.

It was about 1:00am in Bonnyrigg NSW sometime in 1999.

I saw a large round ball of light in the sky looking west of Bonnyrigg. It was bright red, very large and I instantly knew that it wasn't anything I'd seen before.

I ran downstairs and went outside. I stood watching it in awe for about 10 minutes until I thought about getting the camera. I was just about to turn and just then the ball appeared to get smaller until it disappeared.

The object was perfectly round and bright red. As bright as a neon red. No noise was audible. It was fairly low, I didn't need to tilt my head too far back to look up at it. It was as though a bright red orange was suspended in the sky, meters from my eyes.

It didn't move or pulsate and there were no other lights on or around it. It held it's position and suddenly appeared to shrink, within a couple of seconds it was gone.

I called the Sydney observatory the next day and was told that nothing was reported.

Ex Police Officer Has A UFO Sighting Over Prestatyn North Wales

Date: February 16, 2011
Time: 8:30 p.m.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was opening my garage door and so my head was following the door opening to the top and my attention was drawn to a large object above and to the left of me. I have flown in light aircraft on many occasions, the last time being January 2010. I estimate the height of the object to be around 700 feet.

It was not the police helicopter, as I am an ex police officer and know exactly what sound the police helicopter makes. This was totally silent and moving at what I would estimate at between 5-10 mph. The lights circled the object from front to back giving the impression it was oval.

Two strong beams of light flicked on horizontally for about 2 seconds to the front in the direction it was travelling. It was travelling away from me and disappeared out of sight behind the tree line. I viewed the object for around 1 and a half minutes.

Orange Spherical Objects Over South Bonnyrigg New South Wales Australia

Hi, my wife, two boys and I all just witnessed the lights described below. This was at around 19.15pm on 29/01/2011. Very similar to report below.

Hi Brian, we saw them over South Bonnyrigg. I would describe it exactly like the description below. They came in ones, two and threes over about 10 minutes or so. My kids we frightened by them because we see air traffic all the time and these were not aircraft as we know them.

Some appeared so close together that they might collide. They seemed to come from the west heading east then turn and go straight up into the sky. Regards.

This was shortly followed by a procession of another 30/35 lights all on the same trajectory, west to east from Roslyn Glen and heading towards Loanhead then Edinburgh.

There was not much wind and they were travelling too fast to be Chinese lanterns. It lasted for 15/20 minutes. I have never seen anything like it before.

Witness Observes White Objects Over Leichhardt New South Wales Australia

Date: December 31, 2010

Time: Approx: 12:05 p.m.

Hi there, I was looking up at a low flying Qantas 747 at approximately 12:05pm today (31/12/10), when I saw what I thought was a piece of the plane fall off. I followed this white "debris" to see where it would land, but it just kind of hovered in the sky. At this point it was quite obvious in the sky.

I then noticed a second white/bright object come closer to the initial one. They sort of just stayed in the same positions for a minute and then got further apart until the first object was following the second object in a northerly direction. At this point they were quite faint against the sky and once or twice they were hard to find.

I was in Leichardt at the time I saw this and the objects positions were more over the city. I would normally cross this off as high flying planes, but the nature of the incident has me convinced that what I saw was not something I can identify as a normal flying object.

2 Huge White Spherical UFOs Around Glen Innes New South Wales Australia

Hello Brian, how are you mate?. I just read about your sighting of the UFO in the Glen Innes area on the 15th December.

I have to let you know of a very close sighting I personally had in the same area about 10 years ago.

I travelled to Mooree to pick up 2 friends and take them home as they just finished up working on a farm out there. I travelled out there with a friend, so when we picked up the boys there was 4 of us in the car in total.

It was around 9.30pm travelling back towards the great dividing range along the straights, my friend made mention to hit my high beams and to be careful of kangaroos. I noticed a small bridge ahead and approaching the bridge there was nothing out of the ordinary at all. Just as we came over the bridge something happened that we all talk about to this day. As we were going at a fair speed (110km/h) and just after the small bridge a huge white sphere instantly appeared out of nowhere, on the drivers side of the road, roughly 20-30m away.

At exactly the same time, as I was turning my head back to focus on the sphere, my friends were looking out there window. There were 2 on exact opposite sides of the road. We all looked back in complete shock and awe at the 2 huge white sphere's. We were all shouting in shock, "holy crap, what the hell are they", go faster, go faster!" were some of the comments I clearly remember.

Then, something happened that made the hairs on our necks stand up. The 2 huge round white balls were floating toward us. At this stage my senses were telling me to get out of there. As my foot hit the floor, I remember doing approximately 150km/h. At the same time I kind of wanted to go back. Who knows what we might of discovered, but we were all so scared the best option was to get out of there.

As we started pulling away from them, the balls seemed to disappear behind the trees. We lost sight of them, as we hit the extremely winding roads the fog had started to set in a bit. I remember having my head out the window doing 20km/h around hairpin corners because of lack of vision.

To this day we all still talk about our experience. There was something even stranger about the fact you reported this on the 15th at 3:00am. I was heading down the highway back to Port Macquarie from Brisbane that same morning. Went through Ballina at 2:15am. We have never seen as many shooting stars. The strangest thing for me was, I was travelling with one of the same blokes I was with when we saw the UFO's, and we made note to keep an eye out for them. Only just over the range, there he was.

UFO Grew Larger As Birds Circled Around It At Campbelltown New South Wales Australia

I was 10 years old when I saw a bright light that pulsed in the sky. The light looked like a star, but it was huge and grew larger and larger. My mother and I stood looking at it, and many other people stopped to watch as well. A whole lot of birds seemed to fly in circles around it.
The object stayed large for about 10 minutes then got smaller and smaller until it disappeared.

Triangle Formation Of Objects Over Greenwell Point New South Wales Australia

Date: New Years Eve 2001

The 3 point bright light triangle as seen by many people. An object that looked liked a triangle with bright lights at each point, could see the sky between the points. Object moved across sky, but stayed in formation, object seemed to have changed direction as the objected tilted slightly. This did not move fast and I was able to track it as the sky was extremely clear and bright.

UFO Pulsed And Quickly Sped Off Over Nowra New South Wales Australia

Late night coming home from work. I saw what I thought was a very bright star, but as I was watching it it became large as a grapefruit, and pulsed. I was about to get my video camera when it pulsed harder then left with the greatest speed and was gone in seconds.

Golden Disc UFO Over Glen Innes New South Wales Australia

Date: December 15, 2010

Time: 3:00 a.m.

A golden disc about 45 degrees from the ground travelling northward and towards the ground in an arc. It would have been about 10 cm in diameter. I watched it for about 5 minutes before it disappeared behind a few trees.

I watched it long enough to be able to walk outside to make sure it was not a reflection in the window and it was right in the center of town travelling over the oval and over the top of Grey Street.

It looked like a mini sun. Did anyone else see it.

Bright Red Light Over South Wales Australia

Hi, I'm in the South Wales area. It's 22:26 November 2nd 2010.

Just outside having a cigarette about 5 minutes ago and saw a bright red light with what appeared to be a small line of the same light coming down from it. It traveled at a fairly slow steady space. Not flashing or fading. It went out of sight, I don't know if this is due to change of direction or the cloud?

Thought I was going mad. Hubby in bed, couldn't show him.

Large Bright Light Shrinks Over Mid Wales UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I went camping going back a month ago, end of the beginning of September and seen the same thing. I looked up on a clear night and saw this massive bright white light just silently and slowly drifting overhead in a straight direction. It wasn't even that high, maybe a couple of thousand feet up.

It passed overhead until I couldn't see it anymore and it was heading northeast. The next day I packed my camping gear and tried a different camping spot across the valley.

This is where even now thinking of this, it is sending shivers down my spine. So then I saw this bright light again, but this time the bright light was somewhat far away, I stared at it thinking, that's not a star. It then gently moved right and it was quite far away and then a minute later moved down, but on a slant then up left on a slant. It then it just suddenly got closer and closer until it was only 5,000 meters in front, but a little higher than me. You see I was on top of a valley almost inline with this UFO.

I was staring at it and it seemed like it was scanning around, like it had a beam of light pointing slowly past me then back past me. The beam of light wasn't powerful, almost transparent as its just that you could see what direction it was scanning/pointing. This went on for 10-15 minutes, then suddenly another light caught my corner of eye and it was the same thing, it elegantly moved slowly down from the sky, straight down and behind thick conifer trees until it was almost eye level, but quite far away.

I would say good 2-3 thousand meters. The light disappeared out of sight, then reappeared suddenly behind a line of forestry trees not far from me. This thing was so big and then would go very small, football sized and bright. It was weaving in and out the trees, back and forth, meanwhile the other light in the sky stayed in the same position in front of me, but higher than me.

It seemed like it was looking out for the other light which was weaving in and out the trees to right of me and about thousand meters away. I was tempted to go over a little brow, a little mossy bank to see the light better because it was not far away.

I was in the middle of nowhere and by myself and one part of me wanted to go and see and other part of me was scared to go closer. I clutched myself tight, holding my nerves together deciding on what I should do. Finally I suddenly woke up and it was early morning. I got a feeling they are looking for something and I wonder what happened to me.

Orange Light Circles Then Shoots Off - Seen Over Gower Wales UK

Hi, I live in Wales and last night about the same time I saw an orange light in the sky which at first seemed to circle and then shot off. I live by the Gower, not far from the Loughor Estuary and the object was going west towards the Carmarthen Bay area.
