My husband and I saw these lights. They were in formation and travelled across the sky and then upwards quickly and disappeared. We still talk about it and cannot find a reasonable explanation

Blue Light/Object Made Looping Arch In The Sky Over Auchterarder Scotland UK

I was driving through Auchterarder last night when an orb, glowing like a bluish light made a looping arch in the sky.

There was no sound, the sky was not dark and the orb moved fast and disappeared very quickly.

Unknown Light/Object Returns To The Sky Over Grimsbury Square Banbury Oxfordshire UK (Pictures)

Date:  February 27, 2015 and March 1, 2015
Time:  Approximately 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Hi Brian, the first sighting was on Friday 27th February 2015 at around 19:00. I was taking a delivery to Grimsbury Square and had been observing a light hanging in the sky, as it had caught my attention while I was taking another delivery, prior.

It was when I'd gotten out of my car to pay more attention, the light that's what piqued my curiosity as it was to bright for a star and not a planet, because it seemed so close.

I do know a lot of people mistake Venus for something extraterrestrial and as I used to be an avid astronomer when I was kid, was able to differentiate between celestial objects and non celestial ones.

After delivering my order, I moved my car to get a better view and to also move away from the customers property and moved just around the corner slightly.

The object appeared to be hanging in a westerly direction, with General Food in the foreground and the object seemingly hanging to the right and up slightly.

Unfortunately I couldn't give chase, as was my desire, because I was still working and couldn't leave early. But the object seemed to be hovering for around 30 minutes, as I lost track of it, when taking out other deliveries, even though I made a point of taking a detour to higher ground to retrack the object, but no joy.

The same object appeared (again) on Sunday 1st March 2015 at around 19:30 and this lasted for maybe 30-45 minutes, but this time I was driving to the Hanwell Fields area, from Warwick Road and noticed a bright object hovering in a northwesterly direction and slightly right to the Drayton Golf Club.

I pulled over to try and confirm if it was Venus, but it just felt all wrong as there were no other viewable, celestial objects.

Considering there was little cloud cover at the time, it seemed strange that I could only see this one object. I did a mental excercise to run through things that it could be (as with the last sighting), it wasn't a flare, helicopter or aircraft, nor was it a Chinese Lantern, as the light being emitted seemed to be a stable white(ish) light that didn't flicker, nor did there seem to be and heat flicker.

I continued trying to observe this light right up until my shift finished at 20:30, where I raced up to the last point I'd observed the light, but it had disappeared, which proves that it wasn't Venus, or any other planet.

I did take a couple of photos on my phone, with the first sighting, but given the distance and quality of the image, it all seems rather blurred and nondescript.

I have attached the images I took, to see if you can come up with any ideas as to what it may have been, but my gut feeling says I was correct with my original observation.

Vertical Orange Light In The Sky Over Ingleby Barwick Teesside North East England UK

Me and my girlfriend spotted vertical orange light at 7:45 p.m. on 4th March 2015 from Ingleby Barwick Teesside North East England.

It was an amazing sight, and I still can’t work out what it was, as I don’t think it’s ice crystals as wasn’t even that cold that night.

Large Bright Orange Object/Light In The Sky And Seen From Headlands Northampton UK

On my way to get my son from his girlfriends, when I was distracted by a very big orange light in the sky.

This sighting was near the Headlands.

Very strange, see you guys.

Hi, yes it was 1/3/2015. The Headlands is in Northampton and I guess I saw it for about 20 minutes.

I spotted it roughly 3 miles from there, then when my son got in car and said he'd seen it for about 30 minutes.

It wasn't moving, it just looked as though it was hovering.

Orange Light Spotted In The Sky Over Cattedown Sutton Harbour UK

Date:  February 22, 2015
Time:  Approximately 4:00 a.m. – 4:30 a.m.

At roughly 4-30 am this morning (22/2/2015) I too saw an orange light. I was awakened by my dog as he wanted out to do his business.

As I opened the door, I saw the light over the west of the city (I am located in Cattedown-Sutton Harbour area).

The light was over toward the Drake Centre area. It continued to travel east then appeared to turn northward before fading.

No sound was heard even though all around was silent (being early on a Sunday morning)

10 Inverted Horseshoe Shaped UFOs In The Sky Over Hyde Park London UK (Excellent Diagram)

Time: Daytime sighting.

Hi Brian, This is a report of a sighting I had with my family when I was about 8 years old in 1967, but which has stuck in my mind very clearly because it was so weird.

We were having lunch in Hyde Park, London during a family outing there in the summer of that year.

As we sat eating and talking, I suddenly noticed several dark coloured, inverted horseshoe-shaped objects, bobbing up and down as if on strings dangling from the sky, away over some buildings in the distance.

There was about 10 of them and they were just so weird that I pointed them out to my mum and dad, who didn’t have a clue what they were or even what they might be.

As I said, they were kind of upside down ‘U’ shaped things, and I seem to remember they had maybe a couple of lighter coloured spots on them.

I also got the peculiar feeling they were aware of us in some way.

Anyway, there they were, in broad daylight, bobbing up and down as if suspended in mid-air above central London on wires. No-one else seemed to notice them.

 They seemed to be different sizes, but this may be because they were different distances away from us, but I have never seen anything like them since. Nor do I have any idea myself, as a now grown adult, what on earth they may have been.

I don’t believe fancy advertising using expensive props was used a lot in the sixties and I certainly don’t believe that civilian aircraft could look like that or appear so low as that over London.

So unless someone else can offer a feasible explanation, they remain a mystery to me.

Object/UFO Makes 180 Degree Turn Then Speeds Off Seen Over Hungerford England UK

Hello Brian, I saw your site about UFO sightings in the UK. I was living in Hungerford, England in 1975 when I noticed a moving object the size of a star in the Summer night sky.

At first I thought it was a plane, until it made a complete 180-degree turn and sped off at high speed.

At first I assumed it was some kind of high tech satellite, but now wonder if it was a UFO. For years I've tried to find information if others saw anything like this in that area.

My US husband was serviced at an Airforce base in that region until we came back to the States the following year.

3 Red Lights Travel Upward Hover Then Disappear Over Hartlepool North East England U.K.

I saw three separate red lights over Hartlepool at the weekend.

They rose from ground level or the sea and then hovered before they disappeared. Then another 2 rose and did a similar thing.

Object/UFO Gives Off Orange Glow Over Streatham London UK

Hi there, I had a similar experience when on my way home in the dark in London in a relaxed state of mind about 3 months ago. I suddenly had an urge to look up and saw an orange glowing object move across the sky and then almost just switch off.

I have been very active in my community of late and have been attempting to address environmental issues. I felt calm and a sense of emotional warmth and connectedness.

It was on the 27th June 2014. Possibly around 11:00 p.m. I had drunk one fruit beer that evening, but that was all. My street was empty and I was on my own and feeling upbeat. No known witnesses.

I live in Streatham in London in the UK.

I was not surprised at what I saw though. I had been researching UFOs for around a year beforehand and you may think I am strange, but I had tried to send a telepathic message urging any positive entities to make contact in some way.

I had hoped it would be in a way that I did not find alarming. I don't recall making that clear in my thought communication though.

I had not been thinking about this for a few weeks until I suddenly had the urge to look up that evening.

I do live under a flight path and am used to seeing planes travel overhead. They always flash though and are quite loud. This light slowly travelled from above one side of the road to the other and was silent.

Defiantly quite high up and then the orange glow went out. Lasted not even a minute.

It felt like it was an acknowledgement of sorts. I felt a sense of warmth inside and had no sense of fear or surprise. Maybe watching ET obsessively as a child had something to do with that!

I got in and went to sleep without issue. I think we all know the truth deep down. Our egos are powerful as is the psychological defense denial, but we must now move beyond this in order to grow. We have a lot of work to do as a species!

I see no point in not giving you the full context as you are free to view the information however you choose.

No hurry with checking it out at all.

Triangular Shaped UFO Hovering In The Sky Between Edinburgh And Irvine UK

As me and my son looked out the right hand side window we could see a triangular shaped object hovering or slowly flying past us heading east.

It was a flame like color no trails, no lights or anything.

We thought a meteor, but to trail and a lot slower.

Lights Making Unusual Maneuvers Over Leicester East Midlands England UK

Date:  December 5, 2014
Time:  Evening.

I saw 6 objects in the sky tonight over Leicester, UK. At first I thought it was a helicopter carrying a big container.

Then the two objects split, the small (just a bright light) vanished and then I observed the larger of the two, which was a large square object with lights on each point suddenly stop and hover until it moved at a 90 degree angle side ways.

I have never in my life seen a helicopter or a plane do something like that and then it just disappeared!

About two minutes down the road after just telling myself it must have been someone messing about (as I'm rather skeptical on these things and try to find a logical answer) I then witnessed 4 more of the smaller objects just hovering and not moving!

Without a doubt I am freaked out.

Bizarre Lights Seen In The Sky Over Oadby Leicestershire England UK

Date:  December 5, 2014
Time:  Approx: 8:45 p.m.

Hi Brian, I read a blog post just now that talked about an experience that happened over Leicester earlier tonight. I too saw the strange lights and objects in the sky.

It was about 8:45 p.m. when I was driving near Oadby when I saw what looked like the under light of a helicopter which was carrying what looked like (underneath it) a huge container or object of a square nature with lights on all four corners. I continued to drive just observing it when the two objects detached from each other.

The smaller of the two went off to the right and then disappeared whilst the larger moved over Asda (in Oadby) and abruptly stopped, at this point all my skepticism had been abolished and my stomach dropped, it then suddenly moved at a sharp right angle.

I have never seen a plane or a helicopter do this in my life. I am fair certain that planes cannot just move like that and helicopters have to swing forward slightly to go sideways.

This was as if it had stopped turned mid air and then moved again. It shortly vanished. A couple minutes up the road I then saw another square looking object followed by 3 more smaller with a single bright light, they were all hovering.

No movement what so ever, now I did think these could be stars but no, they were way too close to the road to be stars.

I was a serious skeptic about UFO’s, but tonight blew me away.

UFO Had A Silver Body And Shot Into Space In A Sonic Boom Over Tiverton Devon UK

My girlfriend and I were walking to the shops in Tiverton yesterday, October 17, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.

We walked down a alleyway and looked to the right and saw a spear shaped thing hovering above someone’s house.

It was orange in light and had a silver body, then it went dark and shot up to the sky.

It made a loud sonic boom sound and we were both in a state of shock and I’m still freaked out now.

Bright Orange Light Made Up Of Hexagons Seen Flying Toward Beverley Yorkshire England UK

Hi, not seen in your area, but saw something very similar in Hull, UK in 2009. It was moving very slowly travelling down Beverly Road towards Beverly.

It was bright orange light made up of hexagons. It also looked like it had a crescent shape to it, but that wasn't clear what was, was the big circular orange light made of hexagons.

The shape of the hexagons could be seen as the outline of each hexagon making up the circular light was a brighter orange/amber. Kind regards.

Odd White Round Object And Black Plane Like Object Seen Over Chatham UK

Hi there, my name is (name removed), I was walking our dog around 6:25 p.m. today. I was on the Great Lines walking down by the side of Brompton academy.

I looked up in the sky over Chatham and above the trees and I noticed a strange white round object in the sky. There appeared to be a black plane like object close by.

The white object was still there for about 20 seconds, then I looked again and I had gone. No sign of it, very strange.

Just thought I would mention it in case anybody else seen it too.

Dim Lights Grew In Brightness Over Shapwick England UK

Time:  Evening.

I had a similar experience in August 2007. I was standing outside a pub (The Anchor, Shapwick, UK) looking up at the clear night sky. It is a very rural area, so not much light pollution. A light in the sky faded up from nothing to very bright, then faded out again.

I watched for a while, but nothing more. I then turned clockwise by 90 degrees, looked up and the same thing happened.

I felt an intelligence in the light, like it was saying, 'Jeff, that really was a UFO you saw last Sunday'. I went back inside the Pub and said nothing about it, but inside I knew I had been given reassurance.

In early June, a crop circle was formed between Shapwick and Badbury Rings.

Lights Seen Circling In The Sky Over Scotland UK

Time:  Evening.

I have seen this tonight my friends, and I are sitting watching it now. It has just stopped, but been going for well over an hour and a half and we are in Scotland.
