Fire In The Sky Over Bradford‏ UK

Time: Approx: 9:30 p.m.

Last night about 9.30 I was looking out of my window and there in the sky I saw what looked like a plane on fire flames coming from it. It was going slow and it was seen for about 7 seconds. Did anyone else see it?

Bright Orange Glowing Objects Over Lanesfield Wolverhampton‏ UK

Hi Brian just found your blog. My girlfriend and I spotted two large round bright orange glowing objects flying over our house on Monday January 18 th at precisely 6.30 pm GMT. We both live in Lanesfield Wolverhampton, England. First I was on my computer when my girlfriend came in from the garden to say something strange was in the sky. I went out and saw a big glowing orange object flying across the sky. There was no noise at all. I tried to take a picture, but it was moving at pace and my phone was too slow.

Anyhow shaken by what I'd seen, I returned inside then a minute later my girlfriend shouted, there's another one. I went outside to see an identical object flying in exactly the same direction as the first for some reason. I tried to video it on my phone, but after found the phone, it didn't record. I wished I had a better phone. Anyhow just thought I'd share with you.

Orange Lights Observed Over Runcorn Cheshire‏ UK

Last night at about midnight to about 12:40 we saw these orange lights too What are they? They were really weird and travelling south although they came in from different directions. its odd how many people saw them (even in Mexico) At least we aren't going mad!!! Do you know what they are?

Orange Light Sighting Over Walsall‏ UK

Time: After Midnight.

Last night my family were setting off fireworks when we all saw the strange orange lights in the sky. They were all travelling in the same direction quite fast making no sound. All in groups of 2, 4 or more. They were appearing and disappearing for some time, they were quite bright and at one time one of these stopped to let the one behind go in front before they both disappeared. We forgot the fireworks and just all watched amazed at the sighting.

Orange Light Over Ayrshire‏ UK

At 9:15pm on 31/Dec/2009 I saw a single orange light. It looked like a flare from a distance. I could not make out any shapes, just the orange/red glow. It travelled from North to South across Ayr town. There was no sound and travelled in a straight line at a steady speed similar to an aircraft or helicopter.

Lights Over West Yorkshire‏ UK

Time: 12:10 a.m.

I went outside at 12.10am last night and saw wave after wave of what looked like helicopter lights in the sky coming from the direction of Leeds heading towards Manchester over the sky of Huddersfield. There appeared to be between 10-15 sets of lights flying in formation in the sky at any one time. This went on for about 10-20 minutes during which time the West Yorkshire Police Helicopter circled Mirfield and watched. I could hear the engine from the Police helicopter as it appeared to be at a much lower altitude but no sound could be heard from the other lights.

During the 10-15 minutes the lights came past there must have been between 60-80 lights in total. I have checked the internet to see if any planned Helicopter flights had been arranged but even so I would be surprised if West Yorkshire has that many charter Helicopters available. I don't believe in UFO's but it was the strangest thing I have ever seen and can't come up with an explanation except charter helicopters watching the fireworks but there seemed to be far too many. They were not Chinese Lanterns as they kept the same altitude throughout their flight and all moved in the same direction towards Manchester but appeared to have come from more than one location in Leeds.

Orange Lights Are Chinese Lanterns Over Derbyshire‏ UK

Hi, the large orange lights I saw in the sky on early New Year's Day have been identified in this area as Chinese Lanterns, many of which were released here in the Midlands. I can find out more details if you would like, but they were most likely these lanterns. My source says he was at the release of them and they were all bright orange balls of light. Regards.

Orange Circular Lights Over Wednesbury, Birmingham‏ UK

Time: After midnight.

Hi, we experienced similar lights between ten past midnight and up to twenty past the hour. We noticed a number of lights, possibly up to four/five. The strange thing was that I noticed the last one from my front upstairs window and then ran to the back upstairs window, and after a about thirty seconds, noticed it very far and then disappear into the distance.
