Bright Orange Light Seen From Southport Rd In Bootle And Litherland UK

Time:  7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

 

Hi Brian, I seen your sighting on the internet. I took my daughter by car along the Southport Rd in Bootle at about 7:00pm tonight, when up in the sky we saw a bright orange object.

 

It was just hovering , probably about 1500 feet. I told my daughter, it could be the object that has been seen by many over the area. On coming home, I went into my back garden, and saw the same object, at approximately same height, but it was moving at terrific speed across the sky.

 

There was no sound from it. This was about 8.30pm. It was gone in seconds. Could this have been the same objet that you saw ? We live in Litherland too. Weird or what. Regards.

Orange Ball Of Light Seen From Bootle UK

Hello, I just read your article re the bright orange light around Liverpool on 30th May. At around 7:50pm tonight (9/10/10), I was in my back yard in my house in Bootle when I saw a orange ball of light fly past in the sky. It was an orange ball, about 3 times bigger than a plane approximately although it is hard to guess the exact size.

It was very very bright and went faster than a plane, it made no noise and was flying almost perfectly horizontally. I am not familiar with the Liverpool area as I am not originally from here, but it looked to be near the Netherton/Litherland area I think. Defiantly not a Chinese lantern as it was too bright, too fast, too straight as lanterns wobble about. This was at a very fast and pacey speed and there was no flame in the middle of it like a Chinese lantern. It was almost perfectly spherical too.

2 Orange Lights Over Bootle Merseyside UK

Time: Approx: 7:00 p.m.

Hi, my girlfriend and I where walking up Stanley Road towards Bootle Strand around 7:00pm today 31st January 2010. It was dark out and as we got near the bus stop opposite McDonalds, we saw a few people looking up at the sky, then we saw what they were pointing at. There was 2 Orange lights hovering away towards Balliol Road, they were flying together, but they went attached to each other. After a few minutes they just vanished. Within minutes of seeing them, there was 3 or more military helicopters out flying all around the area. They definitely was not police helicopters.

23 Orange Globes Seen Over Bootle Liverpool UK

Shape of Objects: Orange Globes.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: New Years eve, wife had gone to bed around 11:15 as she had to be up early for work and I was finishing off what I was doing on the computer. At Midnight I had turned everything off and heard all the fireworks to welcome in the New Year. I went outside for a smoke and immediately saw 3 Orange Globes in the sky travelling from North to South across the sky. Halfway across the sky they turned 90 degrees and travelled westwards until out of sight. The objects were a solid light and made no sound at all.

I went upstairs and told the wife (who was still awake) what I had just seen and she said she had also seen 1 Orange Globe through the window but just thought it was a firework. I looked out of the window and saw 3 more Orange Globes, this time travelling East to West. I told the wife and she came and saw them as well. As the 3 Globes passed over the house 3 more appeared in the distance, travelling in the same direction. This was repeated about 6 times and they always appeared in 3's. All of the objects were the same size and none of them made any noise. We even opened the window to see if we could hear anything.

At around 5:30 this evening (01/01/2010), I had gone outside for a smoke and saw 1 of these Orange Globes on its own but this time travelling North to South.

This is not the first time I have seen one of the Globes. In May 2009 I was walking through Liverpool town center after work, around five o'clock in the evening, and I saw 1 of these Orange Globes. As I got to the BBC Radio Merseyside building the Globe was hovering over the building opposite. Again there was no sound and the Globe hovered there for about 2 minutes before disappearing behind the other buildings.

Bootle And Liverpool, Mersyside, England White Large Bright Lights

Shape of objects: White bright large lights.
Weather Conditions: Clear and black background stars very visible perfect star watching.

Description: I noticed 2 lights following each other on a scale as I use in inches about 2 inches apart and about 1 inch above each they definitely wasn't aeroplanes or any other form of airborne flight they appeared to be going quite fast and remained large unlike aeroplanes that fade in distance I phoned my wife who was at work and told her to look out of her building where she worked she saw the same lights all of a sudden they vanished.

We live on the flight path for Liverpool Airport and know what plane landing lights look like these lights were not anything like we have saw before.

Hello John Thank you for replying to my sighting as beautiful as those balloons looked in the night sky they definitely wasn't the same lights I spotted.

The lights I spotted were definitely not like anything I have saw before I am always looking at the night sky I have even been in the deserts in Abu Dhabi camping out over 3 days and nights and have saw satellites and all the bright stars in the night sky as I said these light were moving information and in sequence with each other no vapor trails no haze around them and they seemed bigger than most aeroplanes in the height sky I have saw even ten times brighter bigger--and brighter than Jupiter and moving in a straight line then the two of them vanished whilst other stars and landmarks could be clearly seen - I hope this helps you with my sightings anything else I can do to be of help I will only be to glad to oblige.
