I live in Warrington, Cheshire. I went to put the dog outside last night at 12:15am and couldn't believe what I saw. I looked up in the direction of Orion's Belt and saw at least 10 - 15 bright red lights, passing over towards the south. No noise. They were in no formation, but all travelling in the same direction. I watched them for ten minutes and they disappeared south.

At approx: 9.55pm on Saturday evening (24th July), I was standing at my back door and saw about 15 orange balls sailing across the sky, one after the other. I have never seen anything like this before and nobody I have asked saw them.

Therefore I started to research online and came across your site. I expect they were the same objects that the man who was travelling from Grays to Southend saw whilst in the car with his wife.

10-15 Orange Balls Of Light Over Hanwell West London UK

I was staying in Hanwell, west London on 23 July 2010. I was asleep in the upper room which has an uncurtained skylight window. I went to bed at 2245. At around 23:40, I was awoken (possibly by the light) and saw a bright orange light overhead in the sky. It was much bigger than an aircraft light, at first I thought it was some kind of firework, but it did not erupt, it just glowed brightly whilst moving slowly.

The light moved slowly and then faded after about 20 seconds. I looked out over north London, probably about 4-5 miles away, I could see several floating small balls of light which would ascend and after 15-30 seconds disappear. At any one time there were 5 or 6 balls. In total I saw 10-15 balls over about 5 minutes. I have never seen anything like this before and consider myself a sane scientific sort of individual being a medical doctor aged 57! Be grateful to hear from anyone else with similar sightings or any explanation.

10-15 Red/Orange Lights Northeast Of Glasgow Scotland UK

Starting at 2230hrs I saw approx 10-15 red / orange lights NE of Glasgow.

They were primarily in an 'A' shape formation, drawling a large A in the sky, with two trailing behind them by about 2-3 miles, moving south at what looked to be approx 150 knots at approx 5-10 kilometers away from my vantage point at Latitude 55.855588, Longitude -4.215102.

It was fairly hard to determine distance and speed, but as a pilot and plane spotter I'm used to looking at other aircraft in the sky. My first thought was that it might have been an air show display or some sort of military training mission. But I know Glasgow airspace very well and they were between 4000 - 10000 ft in the sky right inside the approach airspace for Glasgow Airport and there is no chance they would have been cleared for that and there is no military operations area near here.

I watched them for about 10 minutes then they entered/disappeared into a cloud and my view was obstructed, but the lights lit up the cloud somewhat. I tried to take pictures but the battery had gone flat in my camera.

Hello, following Brian Vike's sighting over Huddersfield. I spotted about 10-15 orange balls over Guildford Surrey at 12.30am. They were moving in a Southerly direction.They seemed to move slowly across the sky.
They could have possibly been the same lights seen by Brian. Best regards.

10-15 Round Orange Lights Over Northwich Cheshire UK

Hi, A very unusual experience just after midnight on Jan 1st 2010, Northwich, Cheshire. I went outside to 'let out the old year and bring in the new' about 12.15am to see in a clear sky between 10-15 round orange objects. They were moving from a North/Northwesterly direction on a similar path. No sound or no aircraft lights. After travelling across the sky, they disappeared. The experience was witnessed by both myself and my wife. Any ideas?

The wife then joined in the viewing and noticed three more coming in from the southeast on a intercept course. We watched them then coming in 2's and 3's from both these directions. Shaked for hours afterwards.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: 13 to 15 Round Red/Orange/White Lights over Stafford UK (New Year 2010).

Hi, I was standing in my kitchen (facing South East) at around midnight on New Years eve, watching the fireworks from my house just outside Stafford. At about 00.05 I noticed a Red/Orange/White light travelling across the sky from North East to South West. It definitely wasn't a firework and at first I thought it might have been a helicopter but there weren't any flashing lights.

A few seconds later, I saw another light of the same style, coming from the same direction and following the first, at the same speed and in the same direction, then another and another until there were about 6 lights travelling North East to South West across the sky. From my viewpoint, they didn't appear to be travelling that fast and stayed in view for about 5 minutes.

I decided to check the front of the house, which faces North West and there were similar lights travelling in two lines, one that appeared to be coming from the North East to South West and another from North before dog legging South West.

As I saw one of the lights approaching from the North East I ran outside to see if I could get a better view, unfortunately despite the clear sky I still couldn't see any detail but there were definitely no flashing lights (like a civil aircraft) and no discernable sound.

I'm not normally one for reporting UFOs, but this was too strange an event and I'm relieved not to have been the only one to have witnessed these strange lights.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hi, first time for anything and believe me this is a first reporting something I am not sure I can explain. I was looking out my kitchen window when I noticed 3 bright orange objects, faint at first low in the Southern sky, traveling west to east in the night sky. The objects were very far away, did not display any features of a normal aircraft insofar as blinking lights. The velocity of the objects was unusual too, as one object appeared to slow down the other speed up to catch up with it. We live near Dublin airport so we are used to seeing aircraft.

The objects were as bright as the European Space Station, however orange in colour and they did not follow a uniform trajectory, seeming to move slightly up or down, unlike a satellite object. I followed them for as long as I could, however they went out of sight behind some houses. Unfortunately no pictures. In total there were 5 of these lights, too far away to be Chinese lanterns + could not have been satellites or meteor. Very unusual indeed. Thanks.

Witnesses Watch Orange UFOs At 15 Feet Away In Glasgow Scotland UK (Pictures)

Hi there, I have to reply to your post in relation to the orange lights you seen, and if you could mention this on your website that would be great. I must say, myself and partner got a real close look At these objects, they where about 15 feet away from us, we live on the top floor of a block of apartments, and at the time, we just happened to look out of the window and we seen to orange lights in front of us, they went over our apartment and one came back I managed to take an image of this too, then it just shot up into the sky really fast, and I mean fast, then that was that.

We seen these object about 8:00pm, Christmas Day evening, there was to orange lights, about 1 hour later, a helicopter appeared around the same location, we could both see the shape of the helicopter and cold here the sound if it too. So this has us really perplexed as to what this actually is.

About 2 to 3 months ago the same thing happened but the lights where white they went in the same direction then just disappeared, we have heard of weather balloons around that time but they do not move that fast and in controlled directions.

I have included an image I took and I am happy to provide original of these too, I took about four which are pretty much the same, this image is the same image, but magnified so you can see this close up, and zoomed in looks pretty amazing. What I could see when zoomed in, and this could be a trick of light so to speak, it looks like a swastika.

Cancun Mexico 15 To 20 Round Fuzzy White Orange Lights

Description: While on vacation in Cancun Mexico we stayed in the hotel zone. On Sunday night March 15, 2009 at approximately 8:15 p.m., we were sitting on our balcony with a southeast view out toward the Caribbean Sea. My wife and I both noticed an orange ball of light moving at three times the speed of a satellite heading due North parallel to the ocean. The light seemed to slow down and it zigzagged in an S shape before speeding off. Within five to ten minutes we then saw another light in approximately the same location. So after the second light, we really started to keep an eye out. Over the course of the next three hours we spotted an additional fifteen to twenty more of these lights.

Sometimes they were by themselves other times they would appear in twos or threes. Some would move across the sky and then stop completely and reverse direction two to three times before continuing back in a northward direction. They would also tend to get fainter as they slowed down or stopped. One light even appeared to travel below a cloud when we thought that it would have traveled above the cloud out of our view. There was no sound and speed would change as they crossed the sky. We went to bed at 11:15 and lights were still appearing at that time, out of the South.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving home from my girlfriend's house down Henleaze Rd Bristol. I suddenly noticed several large orange (fire like) lights slowly moving across the sky line . I turn the corner to and saw a car parked with a elderly man in the driving seat and a woman with a camera stood on the pavement (side walk) .I stopped the car and got out. I asked them both what they thought the lights were. The guy in the car said he thought it was "Buddhist Lanterns" similar to what he had seen in Spain on a recent holiday, but the woman (who turned out to be his wife) said she thought the lights were UFOs. I have never seen anything like it in my life and can't understand why others have not reported this sighting. The balls of light were pretty large and moving as fast as a low flying plane. I am a respectable professional man who has no metal health issues and was stone cold sober.

Seen Over Zetland Park, Grangemouth UK 15 Orange Lights

Description: We spotted a group of 7 orange, large oval balls of light appear over the trees from our verandah. Must have took off 2 miles away and at about a 45/50 degree gradient.they flew in formation and headed up the river forth towards Edinburgh but more and more groups of these shot into and through the sky in groups of 3 at a time + in the same manner from the same place and all headed in that direction.we filmed them over half an hour - needless to say, it contains alot of swearing.

Description: My husband phoned to tell me to look out the front door and there were three golden lights traveling very, very slowly then disappeared, they seemed to fade away but could have been traveling very quickly away from me. As these lights were disappearing another set of three or four arched over the houses in front of ours until there was about 7 of them, they moved slowly without sound and intertwined with each other, sometimes forming a diamond, three lights formed a straight line then the middle one vanished, a few more slowly came over the houses again in a single file where they continued to move slowly around until vanishing, then they all gradually faded away in approx. the same place until they had all gone and no more came over although I am still watching.
