Fiery Ball/Light Seen In The Sky Over Kilmarnock Scotland

Date:  December 31, 2014
Time:  11:00 p.m.

I live in top end of Kilmarnock in Scotland, and last week I was out my back garden on New Years eve at 11:00 p.m. and the same fiery ball went past.

There was no noise, not a sound and it travelled north and was too slow to be a plane.

Fiery Red Objects Make Sensational Maneuvers Over Constantia South Africa

Hi there, just witnessed this exact same explanation from the website, one has arrived unbelievably close to Kendal Road in Cape Town Constantia and 4 others appearing from behind Table Mountain, then moving rather quick east, stopping and shooting back up. 

Fiery red, but the one near my house was exceptional. I was told to report this to your email, any explanation?  26th December 2012, 10:00 p.m.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving at the time when I saw it coming from my left. I thought, “oh my god”, look at that shooting star. I said it out loud so my husband and grandson would look. 

 

I thought it would fall and burn out, but no way. It was zooming by, straight above in front of my car. It was unbelievable and behind it was on fire orange and light blue and white tail. 

 

I thought it was a plane on fire and burning. I was actually waiting for it to fall, but straight on it went towards Robroyston over towards Cumbernauld.

Orange Coloured Object With Long Fiery Tail Seen Over Shrewsbury Shropshire UK

I saw it from my house in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, around the same time as the other sightings. Travelling eastwards or south-eastwards, seemed slow and low.

 

It had a long fiery tail and was orange, it either faded out or went behind clouds, but I watched it for around 30 seconds from my window before it disappeared.

Yellow Red Object With Fiery Tail Seen Over Cheshire North West England UK

Time:  Between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Hi Brian, sounds like I saw the same light in Cheshire. Can't give a precise time but between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

It was yellowy red and had a fiery tale behind it. It curved across the sky and then disappeared from view. I ran to the back of the house but couldn't see it. It was heading south.

Please let me know if you find out what it was. I have never seen anything like it. Thought it was a firework at first.

9 Orange Fiery Balls Of Light Seen From Birstall Leicester England UK

Dear Brian, I came across your blog when I did a internet search "balls of light over Midlands UK New Years eve" and I thought you may like hear what I saw last night. I was watching the fireworks last night at midnight in my garden in Birstall, Leicester and I was facing south.

 

I then turned north and about 00:10 I saw a ball of flames, I say flames because they where not a constant light, but flickering (not flashing like a plane seen a few last night) it was quite low too low to be a plane and was travelling straight and it then disappeared.

 

The ball was orange and like I said flickering and way to fast to be a plane and it was silent. It cleared my field of vision in a matter of seconds, in the space of 10 - 15 minutes. I observed a total of 9 objects, all the same shape and colour at various altitudes though moving at a constant speed clearing my field of vision in about 5-7 seconds.

 

The objects seemed to originate from the west and move north, north easterly, but cant be accurate one appeared to go directly west to east, they had varying distances, but seem too dim out, go higher and then disappear.

 

They definitely were not planes, lanterns, fireworks.

I first thought they were missiles, but no trail or sound ended this theory. This is the first time I have observed something like this, but I know the difference between lanterns, planes and jets. I have even observed drones at night which also can be good show at night and I must admit it did freak me out.

 

So when I read your blog, I definitely had to inform you of my experience.

Strange Fiery Orange Glowing Object Seen Over Bromley/Petts Wood Kent UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: So long ago I cannot remember the date exactly. We were decorating the front bedroom so no curtains. It was dark and my husband and I saw a bright ball of fire about half a mile away, drop slowly from the sky.

Then just before it reach the level of the tops of trees, it changed into an upside down Y shape still an orange fiery glow. Then just before it dropped below the trees, another ball of light appeared at about the same level as before (around 25 degrees up) and again as this dropped slowly, it changed into an upside down Y shape in the same way as before.

Orange Fiery Ball 40 Miles North Of London England UK

Time: Approx: 9:50 p.m.

Hi, I live about 40 miles north of London, England. It is one of my sons seventh birthday, I took him and my eldest son aged eleven out in the street for a game of football (soccer) about 9.20pm tonight. It was starting to get dark at around 9.50pm when my youngest son pointed into the sky and asked what an approaching object in the sky was.

A big orange fiery ball passed right above our heads, and was moving fairly quick. My eldest thought it was a hot air balloon, but there is no way that it was, it was too small and moving too quick. There is no way it was a plane or helicopter either.

It moved at a fairly steady speed in a northern direction, the only thing that seems to differ from your description is it appeared to making a slight humming noise. It was fairly low in the sky. This is the first time that I have spotted something in the sky that I haven't been able to identify.

All three of as saw it and watched it until it flew out of sight. I would be very interested to find out what it was, there is probably a perfectly reasonable explanation for it, but I am intrigued to find out.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We was watching TV when all of a sudden my wife looked out the window and said, what's that in the sky. We all started looking out the window and first we saw one orange fiery ball going at a steady speed, but it was quicker than a plane. Then another one appeared and followed it at the same speed. I quickly grabbed my camera and went upstairs and took two photos, which I have got for proof.

At first we thought they were planes, but when have you ever seen a round plane. Then we thought they could of been hot air balloons, but air balloons can't travel at the speed of which these orange balls were traveling at. We also thought they could off been shooting stars, but these where going in a straight horizontal line and then they vanished going upwards towards the sky.

Orange Fiery Lights Over Whitburn West Lothian UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Walking home from my wife's parents house on New Years Day with my wife and our 8 year old son when we spotted 2 orange fiery lights flying parallel to each other north to south.The strange colour first attracted our attention, but also the lack noise was puzzling. As they passed over us one of the lights turned left and moved off in a different direction. We then saw a third light a bit further off but travelling in the same direction as the first two. We watched them as we walked home until they disappeared from view. By the time we reached home (about 7 or 8 minutes later) we saw a forth light once again travelling in the same direction as the previous 3.

We have no idea what we saw, but I am certain that the strange lights we saw was not an airplane as the lack of any noise would discount this. I decided to check the internet and found that many people all over the country had similar sightings. I felt we had to include ours.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Left Granby Avenue at 12:00am heading to Huron when I saw a bright fiery orange glow moving north to south towards Dedrige at the height of a plane. As we followed the path of the object towards Dedridge to our amazement we saw another 5 of the same congregating above Murieston/Dridge.they stayed clearly visible for 5 minutes in a row from the Daual carriage to the end of Livi Cntr (not exact distance but just trying to explain the spread between all objects.) They all moved to a higher orbit before fading out.

Orange Fiery Object With Smoke Trail North Of Celland, UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I am one of the sceptics who was inquisitive enough to Google next day to see if there was any reportings. Amazingly, almost identical report from Celland which had been sited earlier in month, only this time we saw it from north of the village. Orange, round, firey then burning out to ash colour with smoke trail and again travelling quickly towards Chaplehall, as previous witness reported. By the end of the sighting, apx 3/4 mins we went from inside house to garden,expecting to hear a bang or whatever? Again I am/was a non believer.

Walton, Felixstowe, Suffolk UK A Fiery Orange Object

Shape of objects: Spherical.
Weather Conditions: Clear, windless, dry.

Description: My partner happened to glance out of our kitchen window and said "What's that?" We went outside to see an orb of a fiery orange colour travelling in a north easterly direction. I would estimate it's height to be approx that of a police helicopter. Possibly 1500-3000 feet? It was in my opinion travelling at the speed of a fast helicopter, nowhere near as fast as a plane. The light was all one colour and appeared to pulsate by lengthening or emitting light in the direction of travel. The object's size I would guess at about the size of a family car.

Also, similarly to many other reports it emitted no discernable sound. The sighting lasted around 1.5 to 2 mins, no photo's were taken as this was the very first occasion my phone had too little memory. I had recently however taken lots of pictures and put lots of music onto my phone so am not attributing that event to whatever it was we saw... The picture in the East Anglian Daily Times of the sighting in Foxhall Road was very similar to what we saw also. Hope this
helps to unravel the mystery.
