My husband and I saw these lights. They were in formation and travelled across the sky and then upwards quickly and disappeared. We still talk about it and cannot find a reasonable explanation

Witness In The RAF Observes Lights On A Huge UFO/Craft Over Brize Norton Oxfordshire U.K.

Hi, I saw something I couldn't explain on drive home around 10 miles from Brize Norton yesterday late during rain storm. Typed buzz words in to Google to see if anything came close and your article appears to be similar in description and area of sighting.

Firstly, I'm serving in RAF and work with aircraft every day, so I'm hoping this sounds slightly more credible. I noticed three bright lights at a slight angle in sky which had me thinking they could of been landing lights on an aircraft on finals, I saw what I thought was the port side light, (red) so knew it was making a left turn.

At this point it was huge, and I mean we were doing 65 and were not catching up to this thing as it was turning towards us which made me think it was massive.

When it straightened up, there was no green starboard light, but another red one, it was travelling away to our right at a steady speed, still not getting any closer to it. Then to my astonishment which I still cannot explain the outer white lights which I presumed were on the wing tips started rotating around the center light in an anti-clockwise direction, and actually turned upside down.

For an aircraft that big travelling that slow to be able to completely turn upside down and then continue to fly along at that speed is impossible and that is what made me search for anything like this.

Your story of a triangular object that is huge in size with the same light set up in the same area made me have to let you know what I witnessed. Saw it about 2130. No explanation.

10 White/Blue Lights In The Sky Over Limerick Ireland

I just saw a ring of perhaps 10 white/blue lights in Limerick Ireland at 7:00 p.m. this evening.

Lights were rotating and changing from circular to conical in shape.

Would disappear and reappear in different locations in a radius of about a mile from my house?

Fast Moving Lights Inside Of What Looked To Be Clouds Over Northern Australia

Time:  Approximately 10:10 p.m.

I live in the Northern part of Australia. I happened to step outside my house at approximately 10:10 p.m., and noticed 2 lights pass over me and over my house.

I looked up as they moved very fast and saw in all 5 round shaped balls of what looked like clouds. My teenage children also came out to watch them and I also called my neighbor who was amazed at what she saw as well.

It is a cloudy night here with little breeze, and the circles swirled around in the sky for over 30 minutes.

We watched them swirl around each other in small circles, then larger circles, they would separate and then get back together, it was beautiful to watch.

After a time, two of the lights disappeared behind the clouds, the other 3 swirled to a stop in a non cloudy patch of sky and were still for 1 to 2 minutes before they faded out and were gone.

Orange Lights Makes Triangular Plaque/UFO Over Te Anau New Zealand

Date:  July 11, 2014
Time:  Approximately 8:00 p.m.

Hi, I would like to report to you what my friend and I saw in Te Anau, New Zealand on the night of Friday July 11, 2014. It was around 8:00 p.m. We saw 3 carrot-orange lights in the sky moving slowly altogether with same distance to each other, with absolutely no noise.

They stopped moving from north to south (we were a few meters from the lake edges) and turned together as in a half circle, slowly. What strikes me was that those 3 glowing lights were still keeping at same distance to each other, even when turning so that they were making a perfect equilateral triangle (at least from where I was watching).

My friend said she could distinguish a triangular plaque/object. I cannot assert that because there were some clouds that could have been taken for some flat object maintaining the 3 spots (I am missing precise English words, sorry, I am non English speaker).

We could see that for about 4 minutes, then the lights shut off one after the other, and, funny thing that we discovered one hour later,  my friend's watch had stopped functioning from about that moment.

These lights looking like spots were in the clouds, so quite big for that heights, which excludes , for my belief, Chinese lanterns, but I can be wrong.

I would love to know what it was. Could it be some silent secret engine of the Army? I am wondering since on our way to Te Anau we had passed by a military area.

Orange/Red Lights Flying Over Hillcrest eThekwini In KwaZulu-Natal South Africa

Date:  January 10, 2015
Time:  Approximately 8:05 p.m.

This evening at about 21.05 my family and I noted an orange/red light moving steadily at reasonable low altitude over the Durban Sky, moving from North to South. The light seemed to be a large glowing ball, not pulsating nor blinking.

It moved in a relatively straight line, but seemed to go up and then slightly down. It moved steadily and crossed our line of sight in about a minute to a minute and a half.

This was followed by another almost identical occurrence about two to three minutes later and then again in three minutes another. The third occurrence seemed to be slightly lower in the sky.

This has not been the first sighting that we have made. Over the past year we have had several such sightings, but on those occasions we only saw one such sighting.

We live about 30 km inland NE of Durban (Hillcrest, Kwazulu Natal, 29.8 S, 30.8 E.)

The nights have been crystal clear and cool summer night.

The sighting have never been accompanied by sounds or other lights.

Red Lights In The Sky Over Arbroath Angus Scotland

Time:  Approximately 8:00 p.m.

I'm curious about red lights in a triangle formation seen while heading from Carnoustie back to Arbroath on Christmas night about eight o'clock.  

I managed to take a photo with my mobile, but only got the lower light due to the car roof, what I also got was two sets of three lights horizontally which I didn't see with the naked eye.  

There was nothing that I could see which was causing a reflection for these lights.  

I was told it was the Space Station, but that would not make sense as it was further south and the lights are completely different. As I said I'm curious as to what these red lights could be. Regards.

3 Red Lights Travel Upward Hover Then Disappear Over Hartlepool North East England U.K.

Witnesses Panic As Orange Lights/UFOs Get Larger And Brighter Over Killiney Ireland

Date:  2013 and December 25, 2014
Time:  Late night.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: The witness thought it was me who witnessed some lights, but it wasn’t, it was another person who saw similar lights and sending their report to me.

You are not alone my friend, we have witnessed these same glowing orb like objects before twice in the year of 2013 and just last night 25/12/2014.

We were coming home from my mom and dads and you have to travel over a very big hill/mountain to get over the other side to the main highway.

We were nearly over the hill and I looked up and I said to my husband, "please tell me there is a hill up there where that bright light is?" As we came around the corner? Nothing! Just a mass bright orange light as it glided across the sky as we were in pitch black as there are no lights on a hill out in the middle of know where.

I stopped the car dead in the middle of the road as we watched this orb moving as fast as a small aircraft. It then just disappeared out of sight. Then came another, but brighter and slightly bigger and moved just as fast and then vanished, because we have seen these strange lights before we new they travelled in threes.

What came next was larger and brighter and we are in pitch blackness and we have the hazards on. My husbands turns them off and this bloody thing slowed right down as if to hover just over us.

It is the closet we have ever seen these things and at this point I am scared to dead and we turned the lights on and drove very, very fast out of there.

That my friend was way to close for comfort, and I swear they are no dam bloody lanterns as they could not move as fast as a small aircraft and then stop mid air and then move slowly and then disappear.

5 Bright Orange Lights/Objects Flew Over Auckland New Zealand

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At five minutes past midnight on Monday morning of the  22/12/14, I observed at first three bright orange objects crossing from west to east.

They were not to far apart, but behind each other and moving at a fair pace. I woke my wife up and she also observed them.

While we were still looking at them, another came across, but at a different height, also in the same direction. Then another, but at a different height.

The strange thing was that the first three did not disappear into the distance, but the lights suddenly went out. The other two also disappeared at the same place as the others.

If my wife had not seen it for herself, she would have thought that I was off my head.

Boomerang Shaped UFO With Lights Making Low Groan Over Puerto Vallarta Mexico

Time:  Approx: 1:18 a.m.

Hello, I'm currently in Puerto Vallarta Mexico and on November 30, 2014 approximately 1:18 a.m., I saw an object moving in the clear, night sky some 300 feet above the bay.

Boomerang shaped, the leading edge had lights,windows inside the edge of the V shape. I almost fell over my balcony thinking, this isn't right.

The boomerang was flying bow forward, not point into the wind. So slow it was, but not entirely silent. A low groan, I heard, felt. Again, so slow and gliding effortlessly.

It turned to sea and no lights were visible anymore. The whole thing was about 25 seconds.

Lights Making Unusual Maneuvers Over Leicester East Midlands England UK

Date:  December 5, 2014
Time:  Evening.

I saw 6 objects in the sky tonight over Leicester, UK. At first I thought it was a helicopter carrying a big container.

Then the two objects split, the small (just a bright light) vanished and then I observed the larger of the two, which was a large square object with lights on each point suddenly stop and hover until it moved at a 90 degree angle side ways.

I have never in my life seen a helicopter or a plane do something like that and then it just disappeared!

About two minutes down the road after just telling myself it must have been someone messing about (as I'm rather skeptical on these things and try to find a logical answer) I then witnessed 4 more of the smaller objects just hovering and not moving!

Without a doubt I am freaked out.

Bizarre Lights Seen In The Sky Over Oadby Leicestershire England UK

Time:  Approx: 8:45 p.m.

Hi Brian, I read a blog post just now that talked about an experience that happened over Leicester earlier tonight. I too saw the strange lights and objects in the sky.

It was about 8:45 p.m. when I was driving near Oadby when I saw what looked like the under light of a helicopter which was carrying what looked like (underneath it) a huge container or object of a square nature with lights on all four corners. I continued to drive just observing it when the two objects detached from each other.

The smaller of the two went off to the right and then disappeared whilst the larger moved over Asda (in Oadby) and abruptly stopped, at this point all my skepticism had been abolished and my stomach dropped, it then suddenly moved at a sharp right angle.

I have never seen a plane or a helicopter do this in my life. I am fair certain that planes cannot just move like that and helicopters have to swing forward slightly to go sideways.

This was as if it had stopped turned mid air and then moved again. It shortly vanished. A couple minutes up the road I then saw another square looking object followed by 3 more smaller with a single bright light, they were all hovering.

No movement what so ever, now I did think these could be stars but no, they were way too close to the road to be stars.

I was a serious skeptic about UFO’s, but tonight blew me away.

Five Lights In A Circle In The Sky Over Kenmare South Of County Kerry Ireland

Good day, I would like to inform you that my two sons saw green lights above our house on 13-11-2014 at 01h30.

There were 5 lights in a circle and one on the outside which kept on moving between the other lights and back to the outside.

They were greenish, the shape was round turning oval and back again. We are in the Kenmare area.

Pale Blue Lights/Objects Seen In The Sky Over Fasano Brindisi Italy

Hi, I live in Italy and last sat September 27, 2014 at 8:30 p.m. I was in the car when my daughter said wow, what’s that? At first I thought it was hundreds of stars falling.

Then I realized that the lights were pulsating at different times and all moving in the same direction, the lights were different sizes, but seemed to create a formation that moved perfectly together.

It hung low in the sky and we were just amazed and baffled about what it was, so I started to search the internet and when I saw your drawing, I stopped because when I explained to my friends what we had seen, I drew a very similar drawing.

Additional Information:

Hi Brian, I saw this in Fasano Brindisi the south of Italy. The weather was mild and no clouds in the sky.

The lights were a pale blue, they looked just like stars and flicked fast at different times. Hope this helps you.

Dim Lights Grew In Brightness Over Shapwick England UK

Time:  Evening.

I had a similar experience in August 2007. I was standing outside a pub (The Anchor, Shapwick, UK) looking up at the clear night sky. It is a very rural area, so not much light pollution. A light in the sky faded up from nothing to very bright, then faded out again.

I watched for a while, but nothing more. I then turned clockwise by 90 degrees, looked up and the same thing happened.

I felt an intelligence in the light, like it was saying, 'Jeff, that really was a UFO you saw last Sunday'. I went back inside the Pub and said nothing about it, but inside I knew I had been given reassurance.

In early June, a crop circle was formed between Shapwick and Badbury Rings.

Huge Bright Orange/Yellow Lights In The Sky Over Yatton England UK

Hi Brian, I have genuinely just seen the exact same thing as a post on your blog. I also live in Yatton.

I just happened to be looking out of the loft window when I saw a huge bright orange/yellow light. I knew straight away it wasn't an aeroplane, as I see those every day and night, so know exactly how they look and how their lights are.

This light was so intensely bright and was so big, it's unlike anything I have ever seen. It hovered in the same place for around 2-3 minutes then slowly descended behind the hills. But out of nowhere, along came a second light.

The same size; shape; colour and brightness, it hovered in the same place as the first light then disappeared before my eyes. You might think of an explanation for the one light, but then for a second one to appear is just bizarre.

I Googled it just hoping something would pop up and when I saw the post, I was totally gobsmacked. The two sightings are almost identical and I knew I had to contact you. It's a lovely clear night with no clouds and it's the 30th of July, 23:13 2014. Very similar time and date of your initial sighting in 2010. Very ,very weird.

I'd love to know if you ever found out what this could have been, or be now. Regards.

Numerous Lights Looked Like Burning Balls Of Light Seen Near Devizes Wiltshire England UK

Time:  Around 10:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Hi Brian, no problem, I'm aware of a small % of what's out there.

It was viewed just along from Oliver's Castle on Roundway Hill, near Devizes at around 10:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. on Saturday 26th July.

Six or so appeared to begin with, they were very bright, almost looked like burning balls of fire in the air, but concentrated. We dismissed Chinese lanterns early on because they started moving in formation, with and against the wind and the brightness of them (from 3 miles away) was so remarkable, they lit the ground beneath them.

We were approximately 3 miles as I said from this event, which was taking place directly opposite us at roughly 1000 feet above the horizon and just behind Devizes city centre.

They made two pronounced formations, an Orion's belt type thing followed by a triangle. The balls were intermittently turning off and on (as if there were on a switch, noticed the fade off and on of them), then reappearing (unless there were more) in different locations.

I started the video after about 5 minutes of this and that would have been the video you saw. The energy that seem to hold all of us was remarkable. I was with 2 friends, one of which has served 5 years in the army. We are positive that due to the nature, movements, feeling we all had and sheer size and brightness of theses that they weren't at all normal. The film doesn't do the event much justice at all.

I will rack my brain for more information as I'm sure there is more that's escaped me, will also speak to my friends, but all our accounts at the time were exactly the same. It was happening, weren't drunk or on any drugs.

You can share this with the world man and link to anywhere you want. I have no doubt that anybody who was looking in the sky between 10:00 p.m. and half past must have seen this. We were half way up the hill by the White horse and Olivers Castle as already stated and just after the event 2 4x4's and a car shot past where we were stood at top speed. I think they did.
