Saw glowing orange lights moving to right of Oaktree close Preston. Towards center of Preston. 2 of. About 1 minute apart. Slightly different trajectory's.

No sparks from the back. Above cloud cover. Too fast for jets. Just disappeared before going out of site over buildings. About 9:20 p.m. Xmas day 2012.

UFOs Changed Color From Amber To Blue Then White Over Kirkham Lancashire England UK

Time:  Evening.

Hello, any years ago me and my brother and two others experienced a number of objects in the sky at night.

They were high above a residential area about five miles away from a military airfield, approximately half a mile from Kirkham prison.

We experienced the feeling of seeing objects high in the night sky followed by the feeling that the objects had become a whole lot closer at times, making us feel like we needed to duck.

Imagine that calm feeling on a dark night when the weather is nice, the feeling of the occasional bat swooping over your head, well that's how I can only describe it.

The objects appeared to glow amber and at times a blue to white colour. This lasted for about 30 minutes, but felt longer.

This experience is still vivid to me and my brother even though it was about 25 years ago. Regards.

A Line Of Orange Colored Lights Over Rufford Lancashire UK

Hi Brian, I've just seen exactly the same over Rufford, Lancs (possibly further north i.e. over Preston, difficult to tell distance). I live on the A59 half a mile south of Rufford.

I was in our conservatory which has a good view north.

At 22:55 I saw a line of orange lights in the sky, moving east-west. They weren't Chinese lanterns - they were too fast and too large for that. At first I thought it looked like a plane had exploded and all the debris was going in a line across the sky rather than downwards. There was no sound.

It lasted for at least 5 seconds and then disappeared out of view. I ran to the front window which looks East but couldn't see anything.

There is lots of air traffic in this area but I am familiar with how that looks and this was not a single plane or helicopter and there were no flashing red or green lights like you would get with a plane. It was multiple lights.

Large Burning Massive Object With Flaming Trail Over Lytham Lancashire UK

Time:  Approx: 9:40 p.m.

 

On Saturday night I was returning from work to home in Lytham when driving down Lytham front travelling towards the windmill, (west to east) I sighted what at 1st looked like a large firework travelling over the houses on my left-hand side, about 500 yards ahead. 

 

As I approached it’s trajectory of north to south, across the green and out across towards Southport, it appeared as a large burning mass.

 

It passed right in front of my car and with viability clear enough to see smoke trailing from it’s flaming multi colored tail.

 

It seemed only a few 1000 feet up and bound to hit the water. I slowed to pull into a car park on the front with it in full sight, but it seemed to level out and head straight across the water.

 

I stopped and saw the last trail of smoke behind it, it then just seem to vanish and burn out. It was clear with no cloud and Southport visible. I stopped and waited, but did not see any other sight of it in the distance.

Glowing Tadpole Shaped Object With Orange Green Tail Over Upholland Lancashire England

Hi, my mother and father (I'm writing this for my mother) saw from their lounge window a "glowing orange tadpole shaped object" passing through the sky from a northerly direction over Upholland, heading south.

 

It had an orange and green tail, and appeared to be travelling quickly, certainly faster than a helicopter and was at a fairly low altitude.

 

Any idea what this may have been?

White Orange Object With White Blue Tail Seen Over Preston Lancashire UK

Hello Brian, I too saw this object. I'm in Preston Lancashire UK. Saw the object from my lounge. I clocked it at 21:41. The object was travelling south, it was above cloud level and unusually slow for a meteor.

 

The colour was white/orange with a white/blue tail.

 

I was able to observe the object further form an upstairs bedroom heading south until it simply vanished. Regards.

My daughter and I saw a glowing orange burn. Most of it seemed to be a trail of sparks.

 

We saw it at around 9:30 p.m. on March 3rd, 2012. 

 

It was fast and travelling more across, rather than down. We are in Preston Lancs and it was heading west, not like shooting star I have seen before.

 

Something was burning up as it travelled.

Fireball With Long Flaming Tail Giving Off Sparks Over Morecambe In Lancashire UK

Hi, at approximately 9:30 p.m. tonight March 3th, 2012 I spotted what can only be described as a fireball with a long flaming tail traveling north to west over Morecambe in Lancashire. It was traveling at a fair speed towards Lancaster.

 

I thought at first it was a lantern, but it was traveling far too fast and was maintaining a straight flight path and altitude. The tail seemed to emit showers of sparks/debris as it passed over. It was lower than aircraft flight.

 

It disappeared into the low cloud before my wife managed to witness it unfortunately. It was an amazing sight, one of which I have never witnessed. Spectacular is an understatement.

 

I hope others in the area witnessed it and I will be checking online to see if they did.

I hope you get other reports sent in and hopefully someone was lucky enough to photograph it.

Orange Objects Looked Like Planets Over Lancashire UK

Many years ago, when I lived in Lancashire, I saw flying orbs that I presumed were connected to the 'Camelot' theme park laser show. They looked like flying planets with an orange faster moving orb.

 

I watched them for several minutes, but was disturbed by a phone-call and then they disappeared.

 

This was around 7:00 p.m. in the 1990's. I lived in Wrightington, Lancs. Would be interested to find out if someone else saw these.

Orange Lights Over Ormskirk Lancashire UK

Date: June 14, 2011 and October 14, 2011
Evenings.

Hi, I am sure I have sighted the described UFO at least 3 times flying over Ormskirk Lancashire on the 14 of June and today, the 14th of October (just few minutes ago).

On my first sighting I easily ruled out the possibility of it being any form of obvious aircraft, because it was flying at a pretty low altitude, and had no blinking lights or shape distinct of man made aircrafts. (well the ones the ordinary man knows about),

It's features could better be likened to a hot air balloons', because its orange light was fluctuating just as a hot air balloons engine pumping hot air into the balloon. However, the speed at which it was moving was too fast and consistent for a hot air balloon, and I did not see the compartment that carries passengers or any other shape unique to a hot air balloon.

I caught it on my (video) using my phone, but it was quite far by the time I activated the record function.

These particular UFOs have become a common sighting in UK and I am itching to find out what they are! Please inform me if you have answers.

Orange Lights Observed Over Morcambe Lancashire UK

Hi, I Live in Morcambe, Lancashire. On the night of Saturday 5th March, 19.05 approximately. I was dropping a friend off in Hesham, then driving back through Morcambe, I looked up into the sky directly in front of me I could see a very large orange light. At first I though it was a helicopter, maybe doing a search of the area, but I had never seen a plane or anything with such an intense bright light like it before.

The object was about the size of a car and round. It was moving in a straight line and traveling about the same speed as an helicopter, maybe a little slower. The object was coming from an easterly direction traveling toward Hesham power station, and was flying quite low. It startled me enough, for me to get out the car to take a better look.

There was no noise coming from the object and about twenty seconds later a second light appeared following directly behind the first light. I watched both the objects until they disappeared into the night sky over the power station out toward the sea shore in a northwesterly direction.

The objects were flying far to low and close together to be any kind of airplane and I excluded the possibility of them being helicopters as the sky was silent. Just for the record, I'm a level headed 51 year old women, and what I saw on Saturday 5th March was nothing like I have ever seen before in my lifetime. I hope this message is of some interest to you, and I would be grateful for any feedback on this or any other sightings in the area. Thanks.

Stationary Lights Over Witton Country Park Blackburn Lancashire UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Years ago when I was a teenager in 1985 or 1986 growing up in Blackburn, Lancashire, England. I remember night fishing with a friend at the perch pond in Witton Country Park, Blackburn, Lancashire, England and it was raining and my friend said `look over there`.

I looked at where he was looking (towards Billinge woods and British aerospace is a few miles in that direction) and I saw strange round shape lights changing colour. I froze for a few seconds looking at the strange stationary lights just above the tree line, then I looked away and when I looked back towards the lights, they had gone.

My friend and I were speechless for a few minutes, then my friend said `lets go` and we packed up the fishing gear and went home.

I don't know what those lights were, but I would like to know if anyone else have seen lights there. Maybe you could investigate and find out if it was the unexplained or just car/aircraft lights, but I don't think it was. P.S. Those lights remind me of the the Mysterious Paulding light.

Three Bright Orange Disc Shaped Objects Over Lancashire UK

Date: October 2, 2010

Time: Approx: 10:45 p.m.

Dear Brian, I glanced out of the window on Saturday 2nd October 2010 at approximately 10:45pm, and noticed three bright orange disc-shaped objects in the sky at a distance of approximately 3-5 miles away, near Pendle Hill.

They were moving at a varied, fluctuating speed and appeared to be in formation. They were then joined by a fourth, similar object and after approximately 30 seconds, disappeared. At the time I was not under the influence of any drugs or alcohol and was quite awake.

There also appeared to be faint, indistinguishable outlines surrounding each of the lights. This is the only sighting of any strange activity in the skies I have witnessed. I live in Great Harwood, Blackburn and do not consider myself a UFO spotter.

If there have been other sightings in this area, I would be interested to know about them.

Nine Lights Over Kirkham Between Blackpool And Preston Lancashire UK

Dear Brian, I have just Googled UFOs sighted last night. I'd like to tell you about my sighting.

I live at Kirkham, between Blackpool and Preston Lancashire. Last night (Tuesday) at about 10 past eight, my husband and I were out for our evening stroll. It was a dark cloudless evening. We were walking south down a country lane, when in the sky in front of us we noticed what appeared to be a bright light. For a second or two we watched it, thinking it was a plane, although not on a usual flight path.

As it approached, it was silent, no noise what so ever, then in the distance a second light appeared. The first one pasted by heading north, followed by the second. In total we think we counted nine, in five to ten minutes. All nine travelled from south to north in a straight line evenly spaced. They appeared just the same as you described your sighting. Orange UFOs Make Wild Maneuvers Over Upholland Wigan Lancashire UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was outside my home on a semi cloudy night when I witnessed 4 orange lights approaching in the sky, not very high, quite close, but obviously individual. The lights were sort of in a line, coming from the west, Southport direction. I assumed they were military helicopters flying in convoy, but as they approached, I waited for the associated noise from this kind of craft, but the night was silent.

As they got closer, the third light shot away at a right angle towards the south at immense speed, this was copied a couple of seconds later by the 2nd light, then the third, the 1st light continued in my direction for another 3 or 4 seconds before that too bolted away.

Once out of sight, a white light appeared in the distance and roughly in the direction the orange lights had disappeared to. The white light was stationary and grew in intensity and size for a second or two and then flew off at speed in an almost vertical path then disappeared again all of this happened without any sound, would really like to know if anyone else witnessed this.
