Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Round.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was having a fag at my back door when I saw a bright orange ball that appeared to be going up in the sky. I thought it was a firework at first, or a flare, but then I realized it was not going up, it was traveling across the sky over my house. I shouted my wife and she saw it too. As it went over my house it was still a bright orange round shaped object, but it also had a blurry outer orange ring around it. The outer ring was fairly faint. The object was silent. I have no idea how high the object was but it appeared to travel at the speed of a helicopter. We both ran through the house to see the object from the front. It carried on in a straight line then seemed to disappear. I am quite a skeptic about such matters, but I am lost for an explanation.
