Hi, we saw something tonight in Manchester (in city centre) it was around 9:40 p.m. First we thought it was an air plane, but it wasn't.
It was really fast and there was a huge like fire type of thing behind. Then suddenly disappeared. Regards.

i seen it i was travelling on the m60 just past stockport it shot straight above us huge fire trail behind it then it all went dark
I saw it on the M60 last night at about 9:45. We were travelling towards the Trafford Centre and it was to the right of the car in the sky. It then went over the top and I watched it into the distance. It was still glowing in the distance but I couldn't see the trail, when it was travelling alongside us it had a big trail of fire!
We thought it was a plane on fire at first. What was it??
I've been trying to find out!
We saw it too we was lay in bed with blida open , I know my knowledge on aircraft and flight path over Manchester as I once studies ppl , it moving below cloud level and too fast for usual commercial planes and in my eyes from past experience of seeing a meteorite befor it was too slow it passed over as if coming from Wigan way and towards Stockport area we saw no flames just a strange shaped object lit up no noise or rumble
Saw one tonight, 21 September. Thought I was going mad. Looked like a huge fireball, then kinda broke up. Thought it might be a plane, but no lights or obvious shape, and no noise either. Pulled some guy out of his car, and he saw it too.
