I thought the tail was orange, but the head looked a bit blue, and it was very low into the sky and very bright over the Mile.
It went on for ages, reckon it may have 'burned out' Cameron Toll area. The sighting lasted for a while, that was definitely not a firework either. Too high and we were on one of the Hills of Edi, there's no way that was launched from Calton Hill area.
The tail was long, and the sighting lasted for about 15 seconds. I could see it way in the distance, awesome! Look forward to hearing more.
If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.
