Weather Conditions: Slightly cloudy.
Description: At first I thought it was a circular cloud formation similar to a whirlpool. I sat from my bed watching it spin around and around. I then approached the window to get a clearer look and called to my partner. It was a saucer shape and it felt that we were looking up to the underneath or a very large object. There were little lights in circular rows and as the object span they trailed and gave the impression of a large spinning top. You could distinguish the outside border of the shape and it remained there silent for about 10 minutes. It was so strange and then it began to rise higher and higher until we could no longer see it at all.
During the time it was there we noticed two planes flying near they looked like holiday passenger planes.

Weather Conditions: Good, clear night.
Description: My wife and I were at the bottom of our garden and my wife suddenly said, "Look at that". I looked towards the east and saw a bright orange light, moving very fast across the sky, rising from the tree line from a south-easterly direction. I expected it to pass roughly east to west but it changed direction by what seemed to be a 90 degree angle and began to move away towards the east. No sooner had it begun to fade slightly when another followed exactly the same path. This was followed by three more, the last two in fairly quick succession. I tried looking at them through my binoculars but was able to see only an enlarged image - no further detail was visible, except for a semi-circular shape rising from the top of the light. I'm not convinced this was anything other than a slight optical distortion of the binoculars, however.
The lights were very bright indeed and seemed to be large, although they must have been very high because they remained visible in the sky until they were too small to see rather than dipping in any way below the horizon. Whilst they were visible several aircraft passed overhead, as is customary in this part of the country. Their lights followed the usual patterns of red, green and white flashing. I have observed satellites passing overhead many times in the past also, including one a couple of months ago which was very bright (the International Space Station, I believe). These lights were nothing like anything I have ever seen before in the night sky. The light was very intense and yellowish orange, as if a fire.

They moved from the west to the east in direction.

Tonight, 00.12am - that's early 03/07/08

Over South Coast Of Dorset England, U.K. UFO Sightings

Location of Sighting: Over south Coast of Dorset England.

Shape of objects: Flashes in night sky.
Full Description of event/sighting: Whilst star gazing on quite a few occasions lately I have witnessed flashes similar to flash bulbs-very intense and of similar duration to flash photography bulbs, only at heights akin to aircraft or possibly even higher like satellites. Have noticed satellite type "stars" which do not have a constant track. As a young boy I once saw with my father two "star-like" objects in close formation zig zagging from north to south. My father said they were weather balloons. At the age of 15 a school friend and I saw in broad daylight a 2' diameter disc float from rooftop height up to about 2000' where it disappeared in cloud .What struck us was that if a hoax fashioned from tinfoil, why didn't it look "crinkly"? This object was smooth and apparently originating fro over the roof of what looked to be an elderly persons' bungalow residence, an unlikely source of hoaxer activity.
When sitting in my car having just finished a piano tuning about 12 years ago in the afternoon during an overcast day I saw a light in the sky of about car headlight intensity. I looked behind me in the rear window to take note of any vehicles with lights on which may be causing reflections and there were none. On reviewing the object it was still static as I moved my head around, whilst still training my eyes on it, the object suddenly accelerated away to the west, leaving a streak of light (not unlike in the credits of Star Trek!), which faded to nothing.
My mother and I witnessed a bright red/pink spark way out over Poole Bay shooting at incredible speed shoot from south to north (inland) then back again from whence it came. As someone with aircraft experience (my father and brother are/were pilots) I can honestly estimate the speed of this low flying object at well in excess of mach 1 or two even, more like mach twenty! Hope you can help reveal the truth even if some or all these events are down meteorological phenomena. These events sum up most of my memorable sightings of unknowns.

Location of Sighting: Elworth (Sandbach) Home.

Shape of objects: Round star-like.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was standing in the garden having a cigarette with my partner, we had been intrigued by the recently reported sightings by police helicopter and also the doctor in Wales last week. As we stared at the stars in the night sky, they seemed dazzlingly bright, when I noticed something catch my eye to the left. As I looked to the left, I saw (to my amazement) what I can only describe as a flying star high in the sky heading in the direction of Manchester. We have many airplanes flying over our house because its a Manchester airport flight path. But planes we see are very low and loud with red and green lights flashing on them, very noisy like thunder almost. This object was moving very fast in comparison, and especially as it was very high in the night sky. It never changed color, or dimmed, and it stayed bright white and constant, it's speed about 3 times faster than any aircraft I've seen before. Next time I shall attempt to video any sighting for proof. Cheshire(Sandbach).

Blackpool, Lancashire Bright Light

Hey, I'm from Blackpool, Lancashire early this morning on the 2nd of July, I was looking out of my window at ten to four. I saw one bright light not moving in a solid direction it appeared to be phasing about up and down side to side (heading in a westerly direction towards the sea), I also saw what at first appeared to be two stars that close to the object in the sky (on a much bigger scale, I realized that it wasn't two stars but it was 3 forming triangle, this was spinning slowly anticlockwise, really freaked me out. later I saw flashes in the sky in the area I had seen the light 5 mins before, there seemed to be quite alot of activity. just wondering if anybody else saw anything. cheers.

Maldon To Witham, U.K. Seven Flames (Objects)

Location of Sighting: Back roads from Maldon to Witham.

Shape of objects: Flames.
Full Description of event/sighting: Whilst driving to visit my cousin along some back roads I saw in the sky what I can describe as 7 flames. I stopped the car and watched them move across from left to right rising up in to the sky. They were moving fast, when suddenly one dropped quickly, as if coming to land. I though at first it appeared to be a parachute as it just dropped suddenly. However when it got near to the ground all 7 objects just disappeared! I can't tell whether the objects zoomed off at exceptional speeds or just faded away.

La Chapelle Neuve, Morbihan, Bretagne, France Black Triangular UFO

Shape of objects: Triangular, possibly conical. Dark grey/black.
Weather Conditions: Clear conditions, excellent visibility.
Description: During a telephone call I looked out into my garden and in the distance I saw an unusual object in the sky. South east of my location, at a distance of +15 miles, the object was triangular in profile, dark in colour, no flashing lights. The craft moved slowly to the left (east)and began to rise. The object appeared to be at a strange angle of projection. I am not a trained aircraft spotter, but have had an interest in aviation since I was a kid, and am up to
date with current commercial and military craft..this was neither.
My sighting was brief as i ran to get my camera and upon return it was gone. There was however a streak (momentarily) across the sky as I looked for the craft through my lens, like a metallic contrail. I am sure others will have seen this event as it appears to have been very close to the city of Vannes, and it is full of tourists at the moment. Thanks.

Description: Traveling from East to West at high speed, smoky green in colour, leaving a greenish trail about 20 times the length of the object. No sound, it was a disc shape but could have had a hollow centre. It looked a bit like a ring dough- nut. Not a shooting star or meteorite. I have seen plenty to know the
difference. It was about the size of a full moon, so if it was high up then it would have been big. Anybody else see it. Sighting lasted approximately 3 seconds.

Description: After hearing what sounded like a low pitched, high flying jet, we looked up to see what we originally thought to be an aircraft on fire. It was moving in a West - East direction and seemed to be moving faster than a commercial airliner. It moved quickly away from us without a contrail and it appeared to remain at the same height. It appeared as a small bright light in the far distance and then suddenly disappeared. We took a seconds of video on a mobile phone but this gave a very pixilated image.

Description: We saw 8 Amber lights that appeared to be about a mile high and approx 8 miles from our location travel from around the Chicksands area to Henlow the lights were visible for about 10 - 15 minutes demising 1 by 1 whilst they were hovering over the Henlow area.

They could be but I tried to take 2 pictures of the sighting 1 of the pictures didn't capture anything whilst the second turned out bright orange with no explanation as they would have been tiny from where I was. Near The Albert Dock, East End of London, England A Silver Disc UFO

Date: Summer 1966/1967
Time: 3:00 p.m.
Weather conditions: Clear dark blue sky.
On a very hot summers day around 3:00pm whilst at my office I stood on the fire escape and as I looked into the sky there was not a cloud in sight, the sky was a really dark blue with no mist. I noticed a silver disc shaped object which appeared to be on the roof of the sky. I called one of my colleagues out to look, it was there for some time when suddenly from either side of it came a small silver disc as they came out of the side they did a half circle to the opposite side, so one went to the bottom way to the opposite side and the other went the top way to the opposite side and then swiftly shot one to the east and one to the west. As soon as they left, the main disc shot straight across the sky to the north, in all, the time scale was 10-15 minutes.
We called the Airforce in West London and was told they were air balloons?
If I was holding it in my hand it would be the size of a tea saucer, yet the things that came out of the side were the size of a 50p in comparison.

Does anybody have a rationale explanation, and more importantly it was witnessed by several members of the family.

Description: While watching TV in my room when I saw a greenish light in the sky through my window. I thought it was a bit odd because I don't usually see bright green lights on planes, it might have been flashing a bit
I started viewing the object and it appeared to be moving faster than the average plane. I could not tell the shape, how far way it was or how high up it was because of the darkness.
The object drifted across the sky and went behind some other buildings and then starting going in away for a few seconds. Then it stopped and started going the other way until I couldn't see it anymore from my view..
It was definitely not a plane as they wouldn't change directions like that, possibly a helicopter. But it didn't make any noise and I don't know what a helicopter would be doing in the area at that time of night

Description: I saw two shiny objects moving in and out of clouds and following each other. They would hover for a few seconds then move around a bit and slow down and speed up. Number of witnesses: Many people in street, but no one noticed (its puzzling me).

Shape of objects: dish shaped,light coming out of round window like, alternatively from each window in rotating way.
Weather Conditions: warm balmy summer night.
Description: I was sitting outside our home with my father and a neighbor. My father and the guy were talking and I was listening to the story. I remember very well what they were talking about. I have always been curious about how stars are positioned in the firmament, so every now and then I would look up while listening to the story. Then I saw the thing. It was fast moving and a beacon like light was coming out of the oblos: first from one then from another as the thing flew and rotated on itself. Then after about 50 metres it disappeared!While this was happening I looked at dad and the guy who momentarily looked up,I was expecting some reaction from them, but they went on talking and I understood that they hadn't seen it!
At the same time I had a dejavu feeling. Sometime it comes in to my mind this episode that I cannot understand.Intelligence makes me think it didn't happen, but it has happened. It still leaves me wondering.
TV/Radio: I don't think it was reported. The old man been illiterate probably, even if he saw it, he might not given any importance. But I still think I was the only one to notice. There was a few people sitting outside their doors to enjoy the cool of that summer night.

Weather Conditions: Patchy rain/clouds.
Description: I was driving home with my husband when something flashing caught my eye. I looked up to the top left hand side of the windscreen and in the sky was a circle of white ball shape lights (about 10-15) another row of lights inside that, then a gap and, then a small cluster of lights in the middle. It was about 10cm in size. When I first looked at the lights it was still flashing then it moved over to the right hand side of the windscreen very quickly. When it moved the lights moved (the outside ring of lights moved to the left and the inside lights moved to the right) as it continued to move across the sky from left to right to middle and back again in no order. It flashed quickly every now and then. It never left the sight of the windscreen and it also didn't move up the windscreen. I thought this was strange as the car was going about 40mph and I watched it for about 1 minute. We went under some trees and when we came out, it had gone. I have no idea what it could of been!
TV/Radio: This was not reported, but just today in the newspapers it has been reported that the same weekend lots of UFOs were seen but nothing like this. That's why I wanted to report it.because now I know I not mad!

Hi Brian, I hope you can help? I spotted what appeared to be something rather odd in the sky on June 8th 2008. It was the clearest brightest day
this year and not a breath of wind in the air. I noticed lots of planes over head and to the east of me looking straight out. I saw the vapour trails
so I knew that is what they were. However I saw something in the sky not to high up and this object stood out from the others because it remained
stationary in the sky. At first I dismissed it as a child's helium balloon perhaps it had broke away from the child but then I thought about it and as it wasn't moving at all I was a little puzzled so I grabbed some binoculars and my camera.
I looked through the binoculars from my bedroom window as I had a clear view. This object was tubular in appearance and far too big to be a helium balloon. There was no string attached. I noticed it was red and white but it appeared to be spinning around clockwise whilst remaining stationary and also changing colour from Red to White. I grabbed my camera and snapped some shots but I can't make anything out on them and I don't know if you have any way of enhancing them??
The object remained stationary from the time I noticed it anyway for about 10 minutes before moving towards the east and disappearing from view. Please can you help? I would like a rational explanation as to what this could have been. Thanks.

Weather Conditions: Dry, clear blue sky.
Description: Driving East on the A120 I noted immediately ahead what I thought at first to be either a glider or hang glider, not uncommon in the area where there is a local airfield. This object was white (not silver & definitely not shiny)and fairly high in the sky , difficult to pinpoint distance but clear enough for the shape to be very clear viewing along the length of the fuselage and not nose on, with the wing profile being extremely distinct. I would still at that point have accepted that it was a glider but what happened next left me speechless.It simply started to move, again in profile and then just disappeared.
There was no cloud cover and the object was just too large and visible to have been anything other than accelerating out of view at what could only have been supersonic plus speed.Until this point I was a skeptic on UFOs but this was like nothing I'd ever seen before either in person or on film.

There was no cloud cover and the object was just too large and visible to have been anything other than accelerating out of view at what could only have been supersonic plus speed.Until this point I was a skeptic on UFOs but this was like nothing I'd ever seen before either in person or on film.

Swanage, Dorset, England Star-Like Object

Weather conditions: Perfectly clear sky
Hello, On the evening of Monday 23rd June 2008 at 11.15 p.m. I was looking out of our bedroom window to the west in Swanage, Dorset. The sky was perfectly clear. I saw what looked like two stars next to each other and one 'star' seemed to be much brighter and twinkle more than the other. Then to my surprise the 'twinklier' star started to move off to the north (the other star, was just that, because it never moved and seemed to be part of whatever constellation we can see in that part of the sky at this time of year ).
I watched the object carry on traveling north and then it changed to head east over Swanage. As I was indoors I couldn't hear if it was making a noise and it did look like it was very high in the sky. It wasn't traveling at breakneck speed, but rather at a steady but still very quick rate. The most noticeable thing was that the whole object seemed to be comprised of a bright yellow pulsating light.
