Lights Over Bradford UK

Dear Brian, with regards to your report of September 4, 2010 regarding lanterns over Bradford. I witnessed a very similar episode on Monday 27th March 2011, at about 8:00pm GMT.

I guess these must have been Chinese lanterns or something similar, they appeared in the south and headed in a northerly direction before pivoting eastwards and gradually disappearing.

Has anyone else reported seeing these "Lanterns"? Kind Regards.

4 To 5 White Lights Over Bradford UK

Date: End of 2010 or Beginning of January 2011 (?)

Time: 2:30 – 3:00 a.m.

Hi, I'm responding to your UFO reporting 5 lights around 88 and 400 I live in Bradford and about 3-4 months ago I was on my balcony at my house having a smoke looking off into the distance and I noticed I saw the exact same thing your describing 4 -5 white lights spinning in a circle collapsing in and back out and I was thinking it could be spot lights. It looked like something they have on top of the Collseous movie theater, but it was in the complete wrong direction.

I was also thinking why would it still be on at 230 -3 am in the complete middle of the week. Still think about and I am skeptical about what I saw and I still have no explanation.

Two Orange Lights Over Cottingley Bradford UK

Hi Brian, I was stood outside my house tonight when I saw two bright orange lights pass overhead they were travelling at an equal speed heading South West, they appeared to be very high up but travelling at great speed, and eventually vanished. These were not astronomical bodies as they didn't burn up upon vanishing and looked to be too fast to be any aircraft I know of.

Chinese Lantern Lands In Park At Bradford UK

Time: Evening.

Hi, just to let you know, I have just seen 3 lights just like yours. I think they may be hot air balloons, also last night two others passed over, but seems to do large circles covering a few miles before disappearing in the same direction as tonight's. The general direction is the same as following the M606. and Cleckheaton Road.

The unusual thing tonight was one of the three was in a slightly different direction and much lower. I don't know how hot air balloons can navigate a circle, but last nights did. They weren't aircraft of any other type as they were silent and the light was orange. My son has just come in and it seems one has landed in our park. It was some sort of lantern with a fire lighter? underneath. The circles yesterday must have been the winds.

Mystery solved! I think it may be something to do with Chinese celebrations.

Fire In The Sky Over Bradford‏ UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We noticed an orange glow not for the first time in the sky. So we went outside to see if it was a helicopter, no sound was to be heard and it was low enough if it was a helicopter to be heard. It then rose quickly disappeared and reappeared. We came back in and saw it again, we went outside again nothing to be heard and it rose and disappeared at a very quick rate.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were sitting out in garden having a couple of cigars, when I pointed out to a lady friend who's home I was at that night. It was a round orange object flying erratically in the near distance. The object was followed some way behind by a similar, but smaller orange ball. They were in view for a couple of minutes, then went behind a dark cloud. However they went in round in a cycle re-appearing every 5 minuets or so. We saw them go around 5 times. Each time they got larger as they were coming closer and my lady friend was very spooked.

Bright Orange Yellow Light Over Bingley Bradford UK

Time: Approx: 10:20 p.m.

I seen one in Bradford 2 days ago over my house in Bingley 25.06.10. I tried to record it on my mobile phone but I pressed the wrong button because I was rushing. I pressed camera instead of video. It was my first ever sighting, but I wasn't freaked out because I knew they existed all along.

I just got back from Huddersfield after completing my first year at university and I was staying at my mothers house. It was about 10:20pm and I went for a cigarette out in the back garden. I saw in the sky a bright orange/yellow light that looked almost like a comet or ball of fire, but I realised that it was moving too slowly. As it got closer I noticed that it wasn't traveling in a straight line, or at a constant speed, it was almost swerving from side to side. It was heading west, but kept slowing down and speeding up. I knew it wasn't an airplane or a helicopter because it was silent as it passed over the rooftop.

I quickly ran inside the house, picked up my mobile phone and went out of the front door to record it. The object slowly got further away then slowed down even more. All of a sudden it shot off sideways into the distance at great speed and was no longer visible.

I'm ticked off that I don't have any footage, but at least I know that I have seen one for real, with my own eyes and not just on YouTube videos so I no longer have to doubt and wonder if they are fake.

I came back into the front room and sat down next to my sister and watched the TV as though everything was normal. I mean why should I bother telling anyone what I just seen? no one would believe me.

Bright Orange Light Over Clayton Bradford West Yorkshire UK

Hello Brian, I saw a bright orange light last Friday night, 4 June 2010, at approximately 10:45pm. I looked out of the kitchen window and saw a bright orange light approaching, flying south to north. It didn't appear spherical, more like two lights side by side, it was going at the speed of a low flying aircraft. If the light had been white, I would have taken it as such. Burning Bright Orange Object Seen Over Bradford West Yorkshire England UK

Hi, I'm trying to find out if anyone else saw the odd light in the sky over Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, on Sunday, 3rd Jan, 2010. It looked like a fire burning, bright orange, moved like an airplane, but with no sound that we could hear, didn't appear to have any exhaust fumes or vapour trails and most definitely wasn't a 'plane, hot air balloon, weather balloon or anything else we could think of.

Five adults watched it from the doorstep as it passed over house roofs and out of sight, from our perspective it travelled about 1 mile in maybe 30 or so seconds.
I took a photo with my mobile, but of course it only came out as a tiny dot in the centre of the frame. I haven't yet downloaded this to my pc and perhaps I'll be able to blow it up a little.

My curiosity is killing me! Did anyone else report it on this date? My sister said she has seen something similar a few days before this sighting; did any else? Warmest regards.

Round Colored Lights Over Eccleshill Bradford UK

Hi, I live in Eccleshill Bradford and I had gone to bed at 11-00pm, but woke to the sound of fireworks. I had not been drinking at all and from about 12-05 to 12-40 I saw a number of round objects appear to fly in various places in the sky. I can see as far as Leeds Bradford airport and one flew right over the house before turning and heading south. I tried to photograph, but could not though I did get something on video.

Bright Lights Seen Over Wibsey Bradford UK

Hi Brian, I too did see what you have seen. I live in Wibsey Bradford and about 00.10 I looked out the window because I heard the fireworks and spotted one of the UFOs. Then around ten appeared more or less in a line spanning from over the Littwille Horton area and I would have said to approximately low Moor area. They seemed to be glowing and I had a good side view of them and each one was identical and despite the distances between them, they all maintained the same brightness and moved in an unusual way.

Then suddenly they just vanished out of sight. They were below the clouds and it was a very clear sky. I had nothing to drink as I'm full of flu and not feeling too clever. These things really opened my eyes, I have never seen anything like it and they were definitely not Chinese paper lanterns.

The ferocity of the colour was way too strong to be generated by a candle in a lantern. I think it will be something I will keep in my mind for a very long time. I did report it to the police and they said I wasn't the only one who had reported it. I also did manage to get a shot of one on my phone, but it's pretty poor, but gives you an idea of the strength of the light even though it is a fair distance away.

I have been looking into it franticly trying to find answers or anyone else who has seen them My wife couldn't believe what she had seen and is still puzzled to what they actually were. Regards.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Going to bed and looked out of window. I saw a bright object in sky, got binoculars, shocked called for my wife to get out of bed. I got my video camera, although short of battery, I got some film. One dropped something in field off Lee Lade Cottingley, I rang a friend in Bradford and told him to look in sky. He saw 3 round objects. I believe this to be true although New Year I had 3 bottles of lager and a glass of red wine.

Allerton, Bradford England UK A Very Bright Orange Color With Red Lights

Description: At roughly 23:05 as I returned from my friends house and I parked outside the house. I noticed a bright orange sphere overhanging in the sky. At first I thought it was an aircraft. I got out of the car and realized the lights were not flashing it was silent as it hovered over us for minutes. At this point I knew it was an unusual object and decided to call my son using my mobile phone. To my dismay my phone read "Connection error" At this point my Son and friends teenage daughter came out and witnessed the object. By this time it suddenly shot off upright in to the sky and disappeared.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was watching TV in the bedroom when I caught a glimpse, out of the corner of my eye of what appeared to be a fireball in the sky. At first I thought it was a plane on fire. So then I ran down stairs and told everyone in the house to come outside quick. Three of us saw the light in the sky over Bradford, all of us ruling out certain things the more we looked at it. The light in the sky started off way bigger than a plane would appear in the sky and for the height it was at, but eventually disappeared in front of our eyes.

Full Description of event/sighting: I looked up to see like a large orange shooting star with a trail that was very high and very fast moving heading towards Wissey round about, over Fair Road, Wissey Bradford, West Yorkshire, approximately 6:45/7:opt. With no means of camera or anything to record, you only have my word. I'm sorry, but was very weird. The trail and the light disappeared? It was too quick to get a camera anyway and I couldn't believe what I was seeing !

Full Description of event/sighting: It was New Years Day, the time was 12:20 am, my girlfriend and I and my mum and dad were just leaving my girlfriend's parents house, when I noticed three very bright orange round objects, in perfect formation just hanging in the sky. I could not believe what I was seeing so I turned to tell my girlfriend and said "what the hell is that" She looked, then she said "they are moving", by this time my mum and dad were just stunned. All four of us stood still for around 10 mins. Two of the objects moved closer, then faded out and one object was left, then that just faded out. We were all stunned. There is no question about it We are not alone in this universe.

Near Chevin/Bramhope Next To Leeds Bradford Airport Orange Lights

Full Description of event/sighting: I was driving away from the airport when I noticed 4 orange lights. I turned right to Bramhope and stopped in the middle of road, as at first thought it almost looked like a big firework before it explodes, but it didn't then. I thought it must be planes coming in, but they were too close and then realized what I was witnessing. The four object were stepped in order, with one very low, then the next two bit higher, but on same level than another at the very top. It was almost like a set of steps and all were same size. The two in the middle were closest to each other and then these two began to circle each other 3 1/2 times. They were stopped dead in the sky, all four before all four began to move sideways and apart from the highest which then began to move went upwards.
