Star Like Object Seen Over Dartford Kent England UK

It's 5:30 a.m. and I have been watching what I thought was a star.

It's not going up and down. I'm on Dartford down 207 by the river. What I have witnessed. Tried to film it.

Fast Moving Star Like Object Seen Over Mile End Greater London UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I went onto my balcony to have a cigarette and just happened to look up. I saw a what looked like a star, and I noticed it moving.

 

It was fairly cloudy and overcast, however not windy at all. The star moved in a very slight zig-zagged forward motion through a gap in the clouds and then through another, further north from the last.

 

It had no trail and looked bright just like a star. I live not far from an airport and see planes go past all the time and this was far too far away to have been a plane.

 

I am perplexed to say the least. I am searching the internet for some explanation which is how I found this site. It is now too overcast to see anything, but it was moving too quickly for it to still be there. What on earth was it?

Star Like Object Comes To A Hover Then Moves Off Over Littleover Derby UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was walking my dog when by coincidence I looked to my left and saw what I thought must have been a star. Being a bit of an amateur star gazer I carried on looking at it whilst trying to figure out what star it could have been, when suddenly it seemed to be coming closer and closer and then it just hung there in suspense and hurtled off back.

 

I went home and did some research as I thought it may have been the ISS, but it wasn't so I came here and reported the sighting.

Zig Zagging Star Like Objects Seen Over Lurgan Co Armagh Ireland

Hi Brian, I just read your report of a Zig Zag object you saw in February. I saw two separate star like objects move swiftly across the entire sky together, in an abrupt zig zag fashion in the winter of 1965. I was living in Lurgan. Co Armagh at the time.

The reason I found your story was because I am presently doing a short write up about it together with a separate incident in 1960 and I wanted to see if anyone had seen something similar.

Star Like Objects And I Got 20 Feet From A UFO At Billingham UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: "Hello, about 22 years ago, I saw 2 UFO's in the sky, they looked like stars until they moved in a deliberate way (search pattern). I watched them for a while (10 minutes I thought, but found out it was 2 hours) and I have never forgot my experience.

I have seen another very small UFO, about the size of a old fashioned video recorder in December 2010. All the angles and surfaces were rounded of like a balloon, it moved very slowly and when I got about 20 feet away, it moved a bit quicker before flying in a heat haze, like vortex. At first I thought it was some sore of surveillance drone or remote controlled toy but it certainly was not, it was too sophisticated.

Have you hear of these small UFO's, I can’t think that aliens are all the same size as us, some could be very small or very large, the small UFO may have been piloted who knows.

Another Witness Observes Star Like Lights From Southern Russia

Hi there Brian, just for interest I too had the same sighting at the same time. Interestingly I’m 3 hours a head of the UK in Southern Russia, UK GMT+3.

It was in the same place by the 2nd star of the handle of the Plough. So how strange that I have the same sighting as someone in the UK and at the same time, but I'm 2200 miles away.

This tells me this object was very, very large and also millions of miles away. Any ideas? Thanks.

Two Blue White Star Like Lights Over Kettering Northants UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Standing at the side of my house facing northeast, two very bright (like Venus bright) blue/white star like lights were present stationary alongside the 2nd star of the handle of the Plough (big dipper) about two inches to the north. My wife joined me and immediately said "what are they?"

They were present from when I went outside until about 10-15 seconds after she saw them, they never moved or got closer than about 4" apart and they slowly faded simultaneously. For almost a minute I had observed them thinking those two stars are new as that is what they appeared to be. Having seen satellites flare previously as they travelled over, I can state these were completely motionless unlike a satellite.

Bright Orange Star Like Light Over Walton On Thames UK

Hi after reading the UFO sighting report in Surrey in January of this year, I felt compelled to email you our experience on Monday 11th October 2010. We are quite skeptical when it comes to these sightings, but what my husband and I saw this week was truly amazing and we are so glad we saw the same thing.

My husband had been in our garage and I heard him shout at me from our driveway in Walton on Thames (about 2 miles from Esher). I went outside and in the sky was a bright orange star like light travelling at speed over our home, it was high up in the sky, but not as high as planes travel over our area. It was totally silent, as it continued the light on it flickered and then went out in the distance.

When the light went out, we could make out a black round-ish shape of a considerable size, then it disappeared. It was about 6:00pm and dark so the black shape we saw was visible only by the moonlight. To say this has us spooked, would be an understatement! Many thanks.

Bright Yellow Orange Star Like Object Over Esher In Surrey United Kingdom

Time: Between 2:00 and 4:00 a.m.

Hello, After a strange sighting this morning, I decided to Google 'UFO sightings 27th June 2010 UK' and came across your site. This morning between the hours of 2:00am and 4:00am, I watched something of a similar description move up and in an eastern direction. The object I saw was bright yellow/orange and at first instance looked like a large star. It caught my eye as it was low and there were no other stars. I stared at it for a while and thought that it looked like it was moving from side to side, but just put this down to my imagination.

I then closed my eyes for a few minutes and when I woke it had moved. I was able to tell as my window has metal grids on the glass, so I was able to see with some clarity it's movements and what distance. It continued to remain static again and as soon as I closed my eyes, again for about 5 minutes, when I woke it had moved upwards. I was then convinced it was not my imagination and continued to watch it from the same resting place on my pillow. It moved slowly in a diagonal direction up and eastwards over the next hour and until it was out of sight.

It's movements were also slightly jiggered to begin with moving across then up and eventually just went diagonally. I had my other window open and could hear no sound.

I live in Esher in Surrey and haven't seen something like this before. Again, it is hard to tell, but at some points it looked like there was a main glow and then a smaller glow attached to it, but this could be a case of looking at something too hard! Full Description of Event/Sighting: My friend and I were looking at some crows acting strange above Bergen city center. Than suddenly a bright light erupted on the night sky and disappeared in less than a second. It looked like a star appearing, but then grew stronger in it's magnitude, then fading and totally disappeared. At this time we couldn't really see any stars in the sky, so we are pretty bewildered about the experience.

Star Like Objects Glowing Dull Orange Over Glasgow South Side‏ UK

Time: After 12:00 a.m.

Hi there, I am still completely freaked out by what I saw. It was just after 12.00am on New Years and my husband and I went out to the back to see the fireworks. Had a quite night in by ourselves and had a total of 2 glasses of wine, so I know I wasn't drunk and seeing things.

Four star like objects came diagonally and settled above the skyline. The star-like glaze petered out and then started glowing dull orange. They made a square formation and then into a sort of M shape. More star like objects came from three different diagonal locations - the first one joining the 4th - they then formed what can only be described as a constellation I can currently see at night (don't know the name - but looked like an inverted question mark) - they then just seemed to move up into the sky and disappear. By this time more had joined - with no more than three at a time - all fading away at different times. This went on until about 12.45 ish. Got a photo of 4 forming a square with a further one coming in.

Just had to tell someone - as my family think my husband and I are nuts.

Hermanus Overburg Western Cape South Africa A Star Like Object

Description: My girlfriend pointed to a sw direction of the southern cross to show me a satellite, but it was much brighter than a satellite. It moved in a horizontal line towards the east ( underneath the southern cross ).When it reached the east it started to slow down and then it started to descend slowly. It eventually came to a halt and after that the light started to dim until we could not see it anymore.

Most likely a weather balloon but.

About 08.00, sitting on south bank of Thames near London bridge, looking towards NW London. Spotted bright, star-like object moving slowly northwards. Watched for about 20-25 mins. Probably not a plane (saw it for too long and no contrail...another jet at altitude flew over NW London for comparison and was definitely identifiable as such, with trail.) Appeared to be stationary at times (but probably just heading away from me).

Not the ISS (seen that many times to know what it looks like and how it moves) and not another satellite (which don't move that slowly). Bright sunshine at the time, clear skies, enough planes over London for comparison.

My guess is a weather balloon, but thought it was interesting enough to report.

Mareeba Qld Australia Two Bright Lights And A Orange Star

Description: Me and three friends of mine were driving back from Mareeba to Kuranda. We drove over a hill which is quite a high point and gives a good view that overlooks the area. As we were driving over the hill we all saw two huge bright lights side by side over the tree tops about maybe a couple of kilometres in the distance but quite close. As we kept driving it kept coming in and out of view because of the trees that were in our way. Lasted maybe about 10 of 15 secs then it completely disappeared. The lights were so huge and brightened just above the trees this definitely was not a plane, house, or comet. All 4 of us saw it and it freaked us out. Someone else must have saw it too cause the lights were huge.

We kept driving after we saw the big lights we kept looking out the direction we saw the lights and in the distance about 5 mins later above the mountains we noticed what looked like a star appear. As there were absolutely no stars visible that night cause of the clouds we thought it very strange it was very still did not see it move as we were in a moving car. But it was orange and real bright nothing like a star we kept watching it but we soon lost sight if it.

Weather Conditions: Crystal clear night. Half moon.

Description: My wife & myself were laying out in our backyard looking for satellites passing overhead. Suddenly, in the north east sky we both noticed 2 very dim stationary stars suddenly start to brighten into two, very bright white star like objects. One second they were not there, & within a couple of seconds they were both brighter than a bright white star nearby which made the trio of objects into a triangular shape.

The two objects remained in a stationary position near the "real" star as they continued to brighten for around 10 seconds.

A few seconds later both objects raced away into the north east sky at great speed. Within no more than a few seconds they had disappeared from sight.

We discussed what we had just witnessed in amazement. Neither object was in any way similar to satellites which we often watch crossing the evening sky.

Hatfield, Herts United Kingdom 12 Star Like Objects

Shape of objects: Dots arranged in a filled triangle pattern.
Weather Conditions: Night, clear sky, few stars and planes.

Description: I was outside smoking a cigarette with two friends when I saw what I thought was a meteor. When I looked more closely it turned out it was a quite large arrangement of star-like dots in a filled triangle pattern all moving in the same direction at a pretty high speed. I pointed it out to my two friends but by the time they turned to it, it had vanished, only one of them noticed something was moving. In terms of size the whole pattern was approximately 10 times larger than a plane passing by at low altitude at the same time. It crossed the entire sky visible to me in approximately 3 seconds. The dots seemed to be moving slightly inside the pattern but I can't be totally sure about that.

Weather Conditions: Clear sky, a calm night but cold.

Description: After getting our little girl to bed, my partner and I settled down in front of the TV to watch a movie. It had not started long when the picture started to play up, it was like static all across the screen, then it would go blank with static. This would last for about 15/20 minutes at a time then the TV would return to normal. I checked the other tv but it was the same. My partner joked saying that maybe it was the aliens, we laughed n put it down to the Ariel.

I went up to check on our little girl then I looked out the window to see if it was windy to explain the bad reception on the tv, when something caught my eye.

It was like a bright star, with some kind of a flickering light on it, it was moving erratically that I could not take my eye off it n I could not believe my eye. At first I thought it was something out of control n that it might crash. I ran down stairs to my partner n told him to look out of the window. It would move up n down really fast, left n right then in a circle, it was almost dancing. All this time the tv was still playing up. We went out side for a better look and couldn't believe what we were seeing that when we looked up there were seven of them all spread equally apart, doing the same thing. We watched them for about 20 minutes before going in (to tell the truth we were in a daze wondering what was going on). We tried to watch tv for a bit but we gave up because it was still playing up. We watched the dancing stars for a bit longer then went to bed. I had the baby monitor by my bed as my daughter has her own room, which started making crackling/static noises. This would again like the tv go on for about 10/15 minutes then stop, this carried on all night through till morning. This freaked me out as it was in my baby's room so I kept checking her n looking out the window but the dancing stars were still there but raising in the sky.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: A bright star like object, very still at first, appeared to be changing colour from red to green, we thought it must be a plane because of the colours, but knew it couldn't be because it was so still. It then started moving westerly, this was when we realized it couldn't be a star as it wasn't moving as fast as a shooting star but was moving fast.
