22 October 2012 - My husband and I were walking to take our bin out to the front of the complex this evening when we both spotted what looked like a string of amber glowing swans flying toward us in an "S" shape movement.

There was no sign of anything pulling the string and it flew across in absolute silence. Can anyone who has seen this in the Protea Heights / Brackenfell area share any explanations of what this could be.

UFOs Changed Color From Amber To Blue Then White Over Kirkham Lancashire England UK

Hello, any years ago me and my brother and two others experienced a number of objects in the sky at night.

They were high above a residential area about five miles away from a military airfield, approximately half a mile from Kirkham prison.

We experienced the feeling of seeing objects high in the night sky followed by the feeling that the objects had become a whole lot closer at times, making us feel like we needed to duck.

Imagine that calm feeling on a dark night when the weather is nice, the feeling of the occasional bat swooping over your head, well that's how I can only describe it.

The objects appeared to glow amber and at times a blue to white colour. This lasted for about 30 minutes, but felt longer.

This experience is still vivid to me and my brother even though it was about 25 years ago. Regards.

UFOs Change Colors From Amber To Blue Green And Witnessed Over Four Ways South Africa

Hi Brian, I saw your blog post from 3 January 2011. I was actually trying to find anyone who witnessed what we did one week ago, 15 March 2012.

We went to our friends house for dinner in Fourways. We sat out on her balcony to eat when I suddenly saw what I thought was a star (albeit large and out of place) go out.

 

I pointed it out to my friends and then it came back on.

 

We then saw the one next to it do the same thing. Then suddenly change colour from an amber to a bluish green when a third object flew closer to the other two.

 

The first two had been hovering motionless this whole time. 45 minutes to be precise.

When the third arrived all three shot upwards.

Though we are open minded, I don't think any of us were true believers until we saw this. No, we are not drinkers or drug takers. We are all well educated and consider ourselves regular folk.  In our absolute shock, not one of us thought to record it and none of us wanted to call the authorities.

 

I mean, who do you even call. Besides, we wouldn't want the stigma attached when it comes to these things.

The girls were afraid, and its left us guys wondering and looking for answers.

Huge Amber Colored Ball Of Light Over Arabian Sea United Arab Emirates

Hi, I read you post at http://the-v-factor-paranormal.blogspot.com/ (in fact I was searching for the same). I'm from UAE (GMT +4:00). Yesterday night (27th January, between 00:30 to 00:40) we saw exactly the same which you described in your post.

 

Big amber color ball, at least 10 times bigger than a star we see, moving in the sky. We saw it exactly above the Arabian sea. I was driving, it was feeling like someone was flying a kite with flaming material (we use to see in our native place in India).

 

It was not sky-high, and was impossible for someone to fly a kite in the middle of the sea (in 12 c). It was quite, fascinating! We saw it for maximum of 1 minutes. When I got down to see it properly and take a picture, it was disappeared. We really don't know how and when it disappeared.

 

We are damn sure it was something that we've never seen before. It was not an aeroplane. We drove many kilometers after that to find it, but we could not find it.

Red Colored Object/Light Seen Over Waingroves Amber Valley Derbyshire UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I live at Waingroves, and from my kitchen window I looked out to watch the fireworks over at Codnor. Over one big fireworks display near the church I saw a very large red orb, it was much larger than much nearer street lamps appeared to be, and it seemed to be hovering for up to two minutes before it just seemed to disappear.

 

Once it had gone, two small orange orbs came from roughly where it had been and very quickly crossed the sky. I presume they went into the cloud and that was it.

The two small orange orbs I could suggest were Chinese lanterns, as I’m sure many of these sightings are, but the large static red orb was different and huge, I cant imagine I was the only person to have seen it.

I mentioned this to a friend who lives in Kirkby in Ashfield today and he said that he and his lady had also seen a large red orb hovering minutes after 12:00 a.m. But after it hovered a while, it sped off at speed.

 

He thought it was a helicopter, but said he realized the light was too large and when it moved he thought it was too fast.

 

They didn't see the two small orange orbs.

So that is three of us that all saw the something strange in the sky last night at similar times. I would imagine that we are perhaps nineteen miles apart.

Amber Lights Over Colliers Wood South London England UK

Time:  Evening.

 

Obviously I found your sighting after Googling UFO sightings.

Last night I/we saw exactly the same thing you seen back in September. But to ad to the drama of the evening, was the sudden maneuver of two very big planes with landing lights on. Something we have never seen before in the 8 years living at Colliers Wood.

Because I have seen an unexplained silent light approximately 23 years ago back in New Zealand, I nervously and clumsily had to get the sliding balcony door open in order to listen, because to me sound is the only thing that can practically explain these lights and the pace in which they were travelling at.

 

Anyway there was a gap in sound whilst the two large planes flew off in to distances and I can tell you the last of the amber lights was making no sound.

Whilst I was doing my sound test the flat-mate ran off to find his binoculars and then we both headed out to the rear of the property, the direction or path of the lights. By this time there was only one fading light left.

 

Then like a switch, the light was turned off, but my flat-mate through his binoculars could see a dark shadow still there were the light was.

I am left wondering if you have had, as a result to your posting a  practical explanation because Iridium flares, weather balloons just doesn't explain it.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was out front with my 2 year old son, my partner and my brother when we noticed a quiet large oval orange glow in a cloud and it was flickering.

 

We were all a bit stunned by it and then it disappeared and we went inside. A half hour later we went back outside to go for a drive and noticed white specks all over our car, which we thought was strange and when we looked up, there was a bright amber circle above us.

 

It was there for about 3 minutes, then just disappeared.

Hi, my friend and I went to Cabo San Lucas last week and we saw the exact same thing you did. We stayed at the Marina Fiesta Resort where we met some people who were staying there who were from a different part of Mexico. 

 

We were hanging out at there room, when one of them on the balcony told us to come outside.  They said they saw a bunch of UFO’s.  When I came out I saw one red light shoot up from very low, in a curved pattern where it stopped for a bit then disappeared, there was one of us who saw this.

12 Or 14 Amber Colored Lights Over Cabo San Lucas Mexico

Time: Around 8:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Hi, My friend and I were on vacation this past weekend. We were on a Cabo San Lucas sunset cruise on Saturday, October 8, 2011. Just when we were exiting the boat about 8:30-9:00pm, I was looking towards the Pacific over the mountain from the pier and saw 8 amber colored lights come up from behind the mountain and hover a bit.

Then one by one they flew up and disappeared. As they disappeared, I saw another and then another come from behind the mountain and do the same. All in all there were total of about 12 or 14.

There was another passenger watching with me and he was able to get some photos. Even the workers on the boat were grabbing their cameras. That's how I knew it was not a common sighting. We were there for the Sammy Hagar birthday bash and we figured they were after him! Very cool experience though.

Amber Colored UFOs Seen Over Cabo San Lucas Mexico

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Recently there have been numerous sightings in the area where I am living. I live on a cliff overlooking the Sea of Cortez and a beautiful little cove beach. There were two sightings in September, one on September 2 and then again on September 18. These sightings were viewed by people in the housing community next to where I live I will tell you about those later.

Last night my husband and I both saw what we feel were UFO's. We were walking along the walkway returning from dinner at a friend's house to our condo. My husband suddenly said he left his cell phone in the car and returned to the car to get his phone. At this point, I was walking alone and looked in the sky and saw an amber colored light traveling along the Sea of Cortez (East to West).

It was very bright and looked like a burning light (orange/red). It traveled up and to the west and then just seemed to disappear. (I don't know if it disappeared behind a cloud or just vanished.)

There aren't many clouds here. I entered my condo and minutes later my husband came in. I said to him "did you see the UFO?" He said "no" and then proceeded to make fun of me saying "Yeah, right, you saw a UFO.

You seem pretty calm for having just seen a UFO." I said "well, I've been expecting to see one." He then went out on the deck and screamed "Oh My God - - Get the camera!" There was another bright light traveling the same way. It seemed like every minute another one would go by until four went by our deck.

My husband is a pilot and he said the lights looked nothing like anything he has ever seen. (That's five in all counting the one I saw while walking to our condo.

They traveled faster than an airplane. My husband stayed out on the deck and fifteen minutes later another one came by, only this one seemed to go straight out over the Sea of Cortez (south) and in a different direction from all the others.

As for the other sightings, there is a man who teaches Tai Chi on our little beach here. He is a very honest, spiritual man. He was up one morning at about 4:00 a.m. or 4:30 a.m on or about September 2, when he saw a strange looking, amber colored light in the sky. It hovered over the housing community where he was staying.

He said he could hear a buzzing sound from it. He drew a picture in the sand of what he saw. It was a UFO with amber colored lights around the bottom. He said that the lights changed color, multi colored and then went over the hill to the beach. When it went down to the beach he said it morphed in size and color.

Originally it was about the size of a Volkswagen and then changed to the size of a trailer and the color was bluish white. He said he saw it leaving just before sunrise and then "poof", it just disappeared. He said he felt a lot of love coming from the craft.

Then on or about September 18, two night time security guards at the housing community next to us saw a craft hovering over their community. They described it as a UFO with amber colored lights. They watched as it went down towards the beach and changed color and they say that it disappeared into the sea.

They tried to take a photograph, but the photo only showed something that looked like interference on a television screen. They were frightened by the experience.

Navigator And Pilot Observe 4 To 5 Amber Orange Lights Over Tennant Creek Northern Territory Australia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I work as a Navigator for an Aerial Surveying Company and we were doing a ferry from Kununurra WA to Tennant Creek NT, when we were on final approach to TC when both I and the pilot watched about 4 to 5 amber orange lights in the distance to the east slowly moving and blinking on and off. Some of them would drop in height and then rejoin the group.

There was another plane ahead of us which was coming in to TC from the opposite direction, however I would not know if they saw the lights too, but if they had looked out the right of them I would be pretty certain that they could have seen them even though they were at lower altitude to us.

The pilot joked to me that we were seeing UFO's, but when discussed over dinner that night, he refused to accept that and said they were "probably" planes.

I have worked in the aviation industry for over 12 years and the pilot for over 35 years and I know a plane when I see one.

This is the 2nd time I have encountered strange aerial activity and I might submit a report for that one too, but that was a few years ago, but lasted alot longer over a major city.

Amber Orange Bright Light Over Camelon Village Central Scotland UK

Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.

Dear Brian, I also want to report a UFO I spotted in the sky over Camelon at 11:00pm on Saturday 16, October 2010.

I was looking out of my flat window because there were a couple of drunks in my street causing a disturbance, when I looked to the sky this is when I saw a suspicious light moving, well, not in a normal way for it to be an aircraft.

To be sure, I put my glasses on and checked again and this is what I saw, an amber/orange bright light, it wasn't that close, but the shape was 2-3mm wide (i.e. much larger than the average star in the sky), it was moving in one direction, but in a haphazard way, it moved forward slowly a little, hovered, moved forward again and sped up before hovering again.

It wasn't moving in the trajectory of a straight line, more of an arc, then it disappeared into a cloud. I am a final year science student at university and am a rational person. I would not be reporting this weird sighting if I thought it could be explained away by anything else other than it being it UFO. Interestingly, Camelon is extremely close to Denny, where another sighting was reported on your website on Friday 15 October. Many thanks.

Intense Orange Amber And Red Flash From Object Over Perth Scotland UK

Time: Approx: 9:30 p.m.

Hi Brian, the date was Friday 27th 2010, the location was Perth, Scotland, UK. My girlfriend and I were out walking our dogs at around 9:30pm. We noticed a very intense orange/amber orb-like shape approaching through the cloud level. It didn't seem to deviate its course and made no sound.

It then suddenly changed its direction and turned left 90 degrees; it then began to pick up speed at an incredible rate - faster than any plane would normally. Just before it was lost from sight, a red flash of light appeared around the object before it disappeared from view.

Never seen anything like before - its movements were unlike anything we've ever seen before.

Plymouth, Devon, United Kingdom An Amber/Red Colored Spherical Object

Weather Conditions: Exceptionally clear night.

Description: The object was an amber/red colour and appeared to be at high altitude. To my eye it was a similar size to that of a large star was from my vantage point. The object was extremely fast moving across the sky which meant I had to run to the edge of the building I was standing beside to keep it in view. The object had no tail so I ruled out it being a shooting star.

It was that fast moving I think I can rule out it being a satellite and it disappeared into the distance rather than faded away. The object was far too fast to be any type of aircraft and there was absolutely no sound as it passed over. It had a stable straight line trajectory which I described to my friend as 'arrowing across the sky'. I was located in central Plymouth with very little glare from street lighting in the area I was in.

It was an extremely clear and frosty night and I believe I tracked the object for at least 5 - 10 seconds before it was out of sight. I have witnessed meteor showers and satellites on many occasions but have never seen anything that moved as quickly as this object did.

Chislehurst, Kent, England Four Amber Orbs

Weather Conditions: Dry, patchy cloud, light breeze.

Description: I saw four amber orbs in total, one after the other. They all took the same course from right to left in my field of vision. They were reasonably low and steady and about 30 seconds apart, and each one faded from view at the same point which may or may not have been due to a low cloud formation. Although we are close to Biggin Hill and London airports, they were definitely not planes/helicopters. They were silent and had no navigation lights, just the amber glow. At the time I saw the third orb appear, I noticed a plane flying from left to right, and wonder if the pilot(s) would see and report them.

Frinton On Sea, Essex, England Amber/Orange Colored Light

Description: I was closing my chicken run,when I reached the back door, turned to see a bright orange light in the sky, it was very low, just above the tall trees, I would say that it seemed larger than a helicopter flying at the same height. It was going to pass on the right of my back garden, which would make this object flying along the coast towards Clacton-on-sea,as I live 100 mtrs from the seafront. There was no sound from it at anytime, it was flying very slowly, in a straight line at the same height. I ran indoors to get my binoculars,and went out the front of the house,as it was heading in that direction. It was much higher now, and had slowed right down.

Through the binoculars it was round, on the right hand side of the ball shape were 5 bright lights within it, like 1-2-3-4-5 of a clock face. I ran in again to get my camera, it had completely gone in about 8 seconds. I have looked at the UFO balloons, I doubt if what I saw was a balloon, the light was immense, very very bright amber/orange, it was flying straight.

Near Gatwick Airport, UK Seven Off White Almost Amber Lights

Full Description of event/sighting: A series of off white, almost amber lights. No anti collision beacons, no port/starboard lights, travelling roughly east to west - estimated at 150 knots. No sound. Roughly 5 nm south of the approach path for Gatwick airport.

I have been watching the skies for almost 50 years as an avid aviation enthusiast...and can guarantee these were not aircraft of any sort. I have a multi engine rating with a night rating, so know what I am looking at in the sky.

Witnessed by my wife (54, and two sons (23 and 20).

Description: We saw 8 Amber lights that appeared to be about a mile high and approx 8 miles from our location travel from around the Chicksands area to Henlow the lights were visible for about 10 - 15 minutes demising 1 by 1 whilst they were hovering over the Henlow area.

Description: While talking to my brother on my mobile phone in the back garden I noticed a strange object in the sky, hovering just below the cloud line. The object moved slowly in large circling movements for about two minutes, my partner then came out into the garden and saw the object too, then it shot across the sky. Then started hovering and circling again for about three minutes. Finally it shot vertically straight into the sky and disappeared. The object appeared to be a disk shape with a very bright amber light in the centre.
