I seen the blue green ball of light last night round 10:15 p.m. I live in Leicestershire in the UK.

I saw exactly the same thing today over Leicestershire, UK, except 3 of them. As soon as 2 'normal' planes (with the flashing lights' approached it, the orange ones disappeared. This was around 23:00 on the 12th July 2009.

Orange Light Over Fleckney Village Leicestershire UK

Hello, I am writing to you because my mum saw what you have described on a couple of previous occasions and tonight, I saw it too with her. It was lower than what she saw previously, but an orange light that looks like fire, but with no trail, noise or flashing. Moved in a constant light, but then it disappeared behind some buildings. This was over Fleckney at about 8 to 8:15ish at night.

Orange Balls Of Light Seen Over Enderby Leicestershire UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I had just gone into the garden to have a smoke before going to watch the football on TV, when to my utter horror a orange ball the size of a car appeared in the sky. The sky which was completely clear and I thought this object was going to hit.

I rushed into the house to call the other people who were there and we all rushed out to the front of the house to see if it would crash. It met up with two further objects over the Fosse Park area of Leicester and remained stationary for around a minute. Then all 3 of the objects departed in different directions. I don’t class myself as a believer, but this has utterly confused and I wondered what 4 people saw that night.

East Leicester, Leicestershire UK Orange Round Orbs

Description: Just started with on orange orb really low and no sound moving with some speed, we all watched as it disappeared out of sight. Then as it was no longer in sight another appeared following the same path as the first as this did the same as the first we wondered if there would be more and there it was a third orange orb following the same path as the other moving with speed and making no sound. It was a UFO, 30 mins later a big plane flying low making lots of sound followed the same path as the orbs. So ppl out there no whats going on.

Wigston, Leicester, Leicestershire, England Bright Orange/Red Object

Description: In my garden on Wigston Meadows, myself and my partner saw a bright Red/Orange glow which at first I thought was a plane although after a while I noticed the lights were not flashing, just on a constant glow as it got nearer I was expecting to hear its engine as the speed it was going it would have to of been quite low. As it got over head there was no noise just silence but it was not high enough to be a plane because of its fast speed then it just went very dim and just vanished. I would love to know if anyone else witnessed this as I never really believed in this sort of thing until now (and no it wasn't Father Christmas as I've been joked with).

Hinckley Leicestershire UK A Dark Diamond Shaped Object

Number of witnesses: Myself 1 women from Burbage reported also.
Number of objects: 1 spectrum of red yellow white hot centre 1 car window width to the right of the sun.
Shape of objects: When examining the photo a dark diamond shape is apparent.
Weather Conditions: Blue sky some cloud dry.

Description: As I drove through Earle Shilton I stopped at the lights on Wood Street when a cloud took my attention. It appeared electric blue and vivid pink. The lights changed and I continued out of Earle Shilton down towards the Marsdon football ground. I could not help seeing to my right a very bright spectrum of light, like a rainbow without the blue green tones. It appeared like some celestial light with a white centre. I continued along turning into Stoneygate Drive,
where I pulled up to take photos on my mobile phone camera. I took three shots using the zoom facility. I then drove back onto the Perimiter Road towards Nuneaton where I pulled off to take more photos, but my batteries were down. I watched this light source for over 1 hour and reported the sighting to the Hinckley Times.

TV/Radio: Reported to the Hinckley Times. I went in on the Friday morning to speak to some female reporter and some women from Leicester.

Description: An object of clearly defined shape was moving across sky more rapidly than commercial air craft (under flight path east Midlands airport) Object was sodium yellow in colour with clear striations running fore and after.

Hinckley Leicestershire, UK Stationary Objects (Pictures)

Time: Daytime sighting.

Hi Brian, I hope you can help? I spotted what appeared to be something rather odd in the sky on June 8th 2008. It was the clearest brightest day
this year and not a breath of wind in the air. I noticed lots of planes over head and to the east of me looking straight out. I saw the vapour trails
so I knew that is what they were. However I saw something in the sky not to high up and this object stood out from the others because it remained
stationary in the sky. At first I dismissed it as a child's helium balloon perhaps it had broke away from the child but then I thought about it and as it wasn't moving at all I was a little puzzled so I grabbed some binoculars and my camera.

I looked through the binoculars from my bedroom window as I had a clear view. This object was tubular in appearance and far too big to be a helium balloon. There was no string attached. I noticed it was red and white but it appeared to be spinning around clockwise whilst remaining stationary and also changing colour from Red to White. I grabbed my camera and snapped some shots but I can't make anything out on them and I don't know if you have any way of enhancing them??

The object remained stationary from the time I noticed it anyway for about 10 minutes before moving towards the east and disappearing from view. Please can you help? I would like a rational explanation as to what this could have been. Thanks.

Description: I was driving from the A42/M42 towards Bardon Hill quarry and in the sky ahead was a silvery disk. It was stationary then moved rapidly to the left then further to the right then ascended up and out of sight. I would put this object at 10000 feet. There was a passenger plane at cruising altitude above and a helicopter about half a mile away. I'm sure they would have seen it. If anyone saw it please email me.

Coalville, Leicestershire U.K. Bright Objects

Weather Conditions: Perfectly Clear.

Description: I was out in the back garden having a cigarette, as that's the only place I'm allowed to smoke, and saw what I thought might have been an airplane out of the corner of my eye. I looked at that point for a while but it didn't reappear. I thought it may have been a meteorite that I caught the end of.
About two or three minutes later I saw another bright object in the sky, which at first, looked like the distant lights of a plane. However, this light faded on and off taking about 10 seconds to go from on to off. The fading happened three times and then it stayed off, disappearing completely. When I first saw it I thought it was a plane going behind clouds but when I looked around the sky I realized that there were no clouds in the sky at all.

Now I've spent a fair while staring at the stars whilst out in the garden at night and I've seen shooting stars, satellites, planes, helicopters and even moths but never anything that pulsed in the way this did.If anyone can tell me what I saw or say that they saw it too I would greatly appreciate it.

Hinckley In Leicestershire U.K. Man Films What Looks Like A Flying Man (UFO)

Hi Brian, I have only just found your website (by accident). Can you have a look at these pictures. You will need to enlarge them. I took them on November 12, 2007 at about 5:43 a.m. I couldn't sleep, so I looked into the sky and saw what looked like a flying man with wings coming so fast towards me, it scared the life out of me. I have not done anything to the pictures and for some reason I saw everything much larger than the photo shows. I blew them up, but I don't know how to save them.

This is not the first time I have seen strange things in the sky. P.S. - I had not been drinking ! Kindest regards.

Additional Information:

I woke up early one morning because I could not sleep and I saw what I thought was a very large star. I picked up my camera, took a picture and decided to zoom in to see if I could see what ever it was clearer and as I did it seemed to rush towards me really fast and I was really scared actually I was terrified and got into bed shaking. Later I put it on to my computer to see what it was and it looked like half man, half bird, that is he had a mans face, but a bird like body. By the way there was also a green blob, looked a bit like a child's drawing of an animal, my camera incidentally is only a normal Vivitar 8.1 and I struggled to get the pictures in to the right location. I have not done anything with the pictures .
