Weather Conditions: Clear.
Description: Looked like a star travelling across the sky, got brighter and brighter for a couple of seconds then disappeared as if leaving the atmosphere. I have also seen this in reverse a few months ago with a witness. We were looking into a clear sky and thought we was looking at a star when it became very bright for a few seconds. It went back to it's original brightness, then travelled across the sky which we followed for 90 seconds or so before light pollution stopped us from watching it any further
