Seen an orange light, there was no sound and it went right by me.

Additional Information:

Two more have seen so far way in the distance and traveling in the same direction.

Meteor Leaves Trailing Debris In The Sky Over Bury In Greater Manchester UK

I just seen a meteor very low over Bury in Greater Manchester. I thought it was a firework at first, but no noise and lots of trailing debris.

Fast Moving Star Like Object Seen Over Mile End Greater London UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I went onto my balcony to have a cigarette and just happened to look up. I saw a what looked like a star, and I noticed it moving.

 

It was fairly cloudy and overcast, however not windy at all. The star moved in a very slight zig-zagged forward motion through a gap in the clouds and then through another, further north from the last.

 

It had no trail and looked bright just like a star. I live not far from an airport and see planes go past all the time and this was far too far away to have been a plane.

 

I am perplexed to say the least. I am searching the internet for some explanation which is how I found this site. It is now too overcast to see anything, but it was moving too quickly for it to still be there. What on earth was it?

Green Lights Spotted Over Chiswick Greater London UK (Possible Explanation For Green Lines Of Light)

Time:  Evening.

 

Brian, we saw small green lights overhead tonight.  We live in north Brentford and If I had to guess the lights were over the Chiswick area.

We saw short straight green lines like a laser pointer, only covering a few degrees of the sky. They could easily have been mistaken for aircraft lights in the cloud, except they were green and did not move significantly.

They are still there in fact. They seemed very high.

They turned on and off every few seconds

Just had another look and they are completely clear. It looks exactly like someone is scanning a laser into the cloud. Maybe a music event or some kind of astronomical measurement?

Never seen anything like it before. Regards.

Hi, my husband, daughter and me all saw three green lights, quite bright and long lines above Kew on the night of 16 March.  

They were present from around 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. whilst we were walking around the riverside and Green area.

I saw them too tonight at 10.00 p.m. on 9/3/12 . It's the northern lights according to the radio. I live in Kew.

Large Flaming Object Was Orange And Green In Color Over Prestwich Greater Manchester UK

My fiancé and I were on the M60 near Prestwich and saw a large flaming object cross the sky in front of us.

 

It must have been heading south. At a glance it looked about the size of an aeroplane and was burning orange, but my fiancé said she thought looked green, so it seemed to be burning a few colours.

 

It was moving faster than a plane, but kept a steady speed and seemed to descending very gradually.

Bright Orange Light Over New Malden Greater London UK

Time:  Evening.

 

Good morning, last night I was sitting in my lounge looking through the conservatory window, (towards East Molesey/Hampton Court) and notice an orange light that was moving slowly.

I live in New Malden and we often see aircraft coming over, but the lights are white and very clear. This was orange. I thought it was a firework, but it went on for ages.

I called my wife and we went into the garden, by which time it has not only moved a considerable distance (I am guessing over Roehampton) but it was just seemed to be a ball of black smoke dropping down. Very odd, but what makes it even odder is your sighting was a year ago to the day!

I am sure there is a very reasonable explanation!

Hi Brian, thanks for getting back to me. I was looking out of my top window when I saw some strange lights far off. A couple of miles away I would say and within a few minuets they were over head. I ran and got my camera, went in to my garden.

I looked up and there was 4 or 5 bright round balls. Every time I tried to take picture, they moved.

The objects were moving horizontally and vertically. My wife and I watched them for a few minuets, then they just disappeared.

We went to the front window and saw another one, then we saw a very fast plane following it.

When it got near to it, it just disappeared. I think the plane was a jet due to how fast it was going. I will try to attach photos. Thanks.

10 To 12 Lights Observed Over Dobcross Greater Manchester UK

I saw a steady line of lights to the southeast, coming from behind the line of hills that sit behind Greenfield. I thought at first it was the window lights from an airliner as it was on the normal flight path for Manchester Airport, and there were other airliner movements at the same time, but the line was too long for that.

Then I thought maybe it was fire lanterns, but it was in a steady horizontal line about 10-12 in all, and the occasional light flickered. The best way to visualize it, would be the Red Arrows in line astern with landing lights on. Sighting lasted about 60 seconds.

Red Lights Over Cheadle Hulme Greater Manchester England UK

I have on two occasions seen four lights in the sky following each other. I can see the Manchester airport flight path from my back garden and the flight track of what I saw is not usual. The last four group of lights I have seen was a couple of days ago when they appeared across the horizon over Edgeley (I live in Cheadle Hulme).

They kind of followed the flight path, but then disappeared. Please let me know of any explanation.

Bright Red Object And Chemtrails Over Enfield Greater London UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It was a very hot Sunday morning, approaching 11:30am. I was sitting on the patio, sunbathing. "They" were at it again with chemtrails coming from the southwest towards our direction (northeasterly).

As I was lying there, I noticed two massive chemtrails right over my head. It made me go, get my mobile and take a picture. (Sorry, not sure how to post pictures here) I was seated facing south, looking south. The chemtrails hovered right over my patio and were moving very slowly in the direction, towards, behind me and to my top left (towards northeast).

I moved my chair out from the reach of the brolly (moved the chair to my right) so that I could look up and follow where the chemtrails were going to. Suddenly I noticed something strange up there. (As it happened I didn't think of using my mobile to take a picture again. I was entranced.)

At first it looked like a red birthday balloon that had escaped . Soon I realized that it was way too high for a balloon and the size of the object so high could not have been a size of a balloon to be still so clearly visible. The object was bright red and really, really high, even higher than the chemtrails or the jets flying around all this time during the morning. I need to stress here that these jets were even higher than commercial aircraft flying around as usual that morning.
Yet I could see the object clearly.

It was way too high for a helicopter, and I do know what the helicopter/jet plane/aircraft moves like. This was none of these vehicles!

It appeared round. It was changing colour from red to gold, and it was flashing the red or gold light, alternating and it was moving! It would also disappeared suddenly, then appear in the same spot again. It seemed to follow the edge of the chemtrails I was observing in the direction above our sun umbrella, northeast. It's altitude must have been very very high as the sky was blue, very clear visibility.

It moved very slowly in a fluid smooth regular motion, even the flashes seemed slow somewhat. Around it was what I could make out like a sort of "puff" of air occasionally being "given out", as if one blows coloured dye into water,only this was clear air,but I could see it even though it was clear like the sky. I'm not sure how to describe it. When one looks over a distance in hot weather and sees the hot air to kind of hover over the hot ground.That sort.

Then it stopped and stayed in one place for a while. I kept refocusing my eyes as it was so high yet so clearly visible. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It never crossed the edge of the two chemtrails to disappear behind them, even though it was so much more higher above them. It seemed to me it was observing their movement. Then it moved kind of 45 degrees to it’s left, totally unnatural movement for an aircraft. (Basically it changed direction from going towards northeast to going west/southwest). It stopped again.

I saw it glisten up there for a little more, then it just vanished there on spot. The whole thing lasted for about 4 minutes I guess.

20 Red Lights Near Enfield Greater London UK

Date: November 5th and 6th, 2010

Time: 8:00 p.m. - 9:45 p.m.

Hi my name is (name removed) my mum and I have also seen red lights in the sky. We live near Enfield and we first noticed these red lights on 5th November 2010 around 7:00pm. I didn’t pay much attention to them as I thought they were lanterns until today, 6th November 2010 at 8:00pm-9:45pm.

We saw them again and I noticed they were to high to see if they were lanterns, they also moved in different directions picking up speed fast and just stopping and staying in one position before vanishing. We counted about 20 of these in total.

Bright Orange Spear Head Shaped Object Over Wigan Greater Manchester UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At approximately 20:00hrs I opened my back door to let my dog out. I looked up at the sky which was a little cloudy, but mainly clear. Whilst looking up, I seen a big deep bright orange spear head shaped object with white trails moving from my right to left at a quick speed.

It was low flying so I can honestly say it didn't look like an aero plane. I watched it for about 30 seconds and it just disappeared in the clear part of the sky as if going upwards. I have never seen anything like this before.

Orange Balls Of Light Over Greater Manchester And Scotland UK (Video Footage)

Hi Brian, I put a search in for the orange balls of light and found your blogspot page and decided to send you an email. To date I have seen these now on 4 different occasions. Both in Scotland and where I live in Greater Manchester. When I was at my parent's house last Christmas, My Fiancée and I spotted one glowing, fiery ball out towards Arran from West Kilbride in Ayrshire. It had rose up out of a fog bank that was spread right down the Firth of Clyde between Ayrshire and Arran. It certainly seemed to be piloted as it changed direction a few times and headed west away from us towards the north end of Arran. After reading reports in the local paper (The Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald) we wrote an email to them to tell of our sighting as there had been a wave of them, put down mostly to 'Chinese Lanterns'.
