Large Bright Light Shrinks Over Mid Wales UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I went camping going back a month ago, end of the beginning of September and seen the same thing. I looked up on a clear night and saw this massive bright white light just silently and slowly drifting overhead in a straight direction. It wasn't even that high, maybe a couple of thousand feet up.

It passed overhead until I couldn't see it anymore and it was heading northeast. The next day I packed my camping gear and tried a different camping spot across the valley.

This is where even now thinking of this, it is sending shivers down my spine. So then I saw this bright light again, but this time the bright light was somewhat far away, I stared at it thinking, that's not a star. It then gently moved right and it was quite far away and then a minute later moved down, but on a slant then up left on a slant. It then it just suddenly got closer and closer until it was only 5,000 meters in front, but a little higher than me. You see I was on top of a valley almost inline with this UFO.

I was staring at it and it seemed like it was scanning around, like it had a beam of light pointing slowly past me then back past me. The beam of light wasn't powerful, almost transparent as its just that you could see what direction it was scanning/pointing. This went on for 10-15 minutes, then suddenly another light caught my corner of eye and it was the same thing, it elegantly moved slowly down from the sky, straight down and behind thick conifer trees until it was almost eye level, but quite far away.

I would say good 2-3 thousand meters. The light disappeared out of sight, then reappeared suddenly behind a line of forestry trees not far from me. This thing was so big and then would go very small, football sized and bright. It was weaving in and out the trees, back and forth, meanwhile the other light in the sky stayed in the same position in front of me, but higher than me.

It seemed like it was looking out for the other light which was weaving in and out the trees to right of me and about thousand meters away. I was tempted to go over a little brow, a little mossy bank to see the light better because it was not far away.

I was in the middle of nowhere and by myself and one part of me wanted to go and see and other part of me was scared to go closer. I clutched myself tight, holding my nerves together deciding on what I should do. Finally I suddenly woke up and it was early morning. I got a feeling they are looking for something and I wonder what happened to me.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving out of my estate (Orchard Heights) last Saturday night when I saw 2 objects in the sky flying perhaps 80-160 mph at no higher than 3,000 feet (I have air traffic experience) but the really confusing thing was that they were travelling about 200-300 meters apart and they both seemed to have engine/jet flames burning from the rear of both crafts?

I stopped my car, it was pitch dark and fairly clear skies and I watched both objects move following one another for about 2 minutes until they went out of view behind houses. I can only think they were military or UFO's? I was baffled, it was quite amazing! Any thoughts or did anyone else see these crafts?? Cheers, talk soon.

Dark Orange Globes Over Bilston Cemetery Bilston West Midlands UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: 19.05 Luminous blue twilight sky. No cloud. Fairly stiff breeze East to West.

Object 1: Dark globe shape against luminous twilight sky. As it travelled, bursts of orange flame from bottom of the globe. About 20 feet above tops of tall trees. Travelling quite quickly. Went indoors to fetch my husband. When we returned it had gone.

Object 2: Followed ten minutes later (17.10 -17.15 hrs) by another identical object on same flight path-same speed. Watched until it disappeared behind tree line.

Object 3: Followed at 20.00 hrs by an orange light globe on a similar flight path, but more north-to-west than east-to-west. Might have started off dark like the other two, but by now the sky was dark, so it is impossible to say. Disappeared behind tree line. I tried to catch this one on my video camera, but it is only a cheap one, and it didn't pick it up.

No noticeable noise from any of them, but dog next door was barking at the same time as I saw the first one. This dog was barking at my last sighting. Is it possible dogs can hear these objects, but not humans?

These could have been hot air balloons, except they were smaller than that.

I watched for a further hour, but nothing else unusual. Only quite a few aeroplanes.

Ball Of Fire Over Irvine Ayrshire Scotland UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I left my house to drive to the local supermarket, when I reached the end of the path in my garden, I turned to see a ball of what looked like fire in the sky moving from a north-east direction to the south-west.

It was dark outside but the sky was clear enough to see that it was not a plane or helicopter, it was much lower than a plane would fly in the area and was clearly round, and moved at the same altitude across the sky a little faster than I have seen helicopters fly. There was no noise from it and there was no meteor like tail.

I was so excited by what I saw I ran back inside in to get my phone to take take a picture, but it was out of range for a decent shot by the time I got back outside.

I went to my sister-in-law's house afterwards and she told me my 8 year old nephew had seen something very similar an hour or so earlier that night, but it had disappeared out of view before she got a look. Any ideas what this might be? I have never seen anything like this before and had to tell someone who doesn't think I'm mad.

Large Orange Object Over Musselburgh East Of Edinburgh Scotland UK

Hi, I watched an orange glow in the sky for around 5 minutes last night over Edinburgh. This was on Sat 9th Oct 2010 around 9:15pm. I live in Musselburgh to the east of Edinburgh and I was looking at the sky over Edinburgh. It was large, around the size of a half moon in shape and had three small globe shapes in the glow and it was moving and stationary in this time.

When it moved, it moved upwards and north very quickly then came to rest, it was stationary for around around a minute then moved down and south. My first thought that it was maybe a projection from Edinburgh castle or something to do with the airport which is the general location of the lights I was seeing. Would like to know what it was as I have never seen anything like it before.

Orange Lights Over Longton UK

I was watching TV at approximately 22:00hrs my wife noticed what looked like a ball of orange fire travelling through the sky. It was totally silent and moving at quite a speed. Orange Ball Of Light Seen From Bootle UK

Hello, I just read your article re the bright orange light around Liverpool on 30th May. At around 7:50pm tonight (9/10/10), I was in my back yard in my house in Bootle when I saw a orange ball of light fly past in the sky. It was an orange ball, about 3 times bigger than a plane approximately although it is hard to guess the exact size.

It was very very bright and went faster than a plane, it made no noise and was flying almost perfectly horizontally. I am not familiar with the Liverpool area as I am not originally from here, but it looked to be near the Netherton/Litherland area I think. Defiantly not a Chinese lantern as it was too bright, too fast, too straight as lanterns wobble about. This was at a very fast and pacey speed and there was no flame in the middle of it like a Chinese lantern. It was almost perfectly spherical too.

UFO On The Ground At Overtoun Park Rutherglen Glasgow Scotland UK

I draw your attention to this post http://worldufos.blogspot.com/2010/09/lights-in-sky-over-rutherglen-glasgow.html, in particular this part: Another experience I had was last month, when I was walking home, it was a reddish light, just sitting there in the sky. I kept watching it and a few minutes later the light just dimmed down and I lost sight of it.

I saw the same thing about 3 months ago and I saw it hanging in the sky motionless. I saw it from the Mill Street Rutherglen vantage point, like in the sighting above it just dimmed out, the colour was a cross between a dull red and a dull pink. I also had another strange experience round about the same time period.

I walk my dog in Overtoun Park Rutherglen and I was sitting in the park near the top of the hill on a bench smoking a cigarette. I glanced at the top of the hill near the edge of the park and saw an object, I thought to myself that it looked rather strange. I turned my gaze away and then I looked at the object again, I said to myself, that looks like a flying saucer type UFO and then thought, no it can't possibly be.

It must be some sort of trampoline or an oversized inflatable toy, then I looked again and it had completely vanished and all in a very short space of time, the sighting lasted about 2 minutes, if someone had taken it away I would definitely have seen it being taken away. It was sitting on the grass and tilted, it was white with a black line around the rim of it and it resembled a spinning top.

I couldn't tell you the size of it, but while it wasn't large I would not say it was small either, probably slightly bigger than your typical car. There also seemed to be what looked like a goalpost type contraption attached to it. The time of the sighting was about 2 or 3 in the afternoon and the park was almost deserted. I can assure you of my sincerity and while I don't believe in everything about UFOs, I believe there is something to the phenomenon.

Two Orange Objects Over Peat Road Glasgow Scotland

Time: 8:30 p.m.

At approximately 8:30pm this evening, my boyfriend was driving with me in the passenger seat along Peat Road in Glasgow. We stopped at the traffic lights just at the entrance to Silverburn Shopping Centre which is on the left. I noticed 2 very large orange lights above the houses on the right side of the roads and pointed them out to him.

It was like something we have never seen before. They were moving very, very slowly and were very low, one in front of the other with the front one higher than the other, moving slowly upwards. My boyfriend had the car window open and watched them as they rose above us until they were behind us.

We continued up the road and turned around at the next turning spot to go back and see where they were, but they had disappeared up into the clouds. We could make them out high in the sky going into the clouds. They must have moved quickly after we saw them as we didn't take long to turn around.

The strange thing is, about 2 minutes before we saw them, we were talking about an orange light in the sky that was flashing high in the sky. I said it could be a small plane or helicopter and he said they didn't have orange lights, then this happened.

It was amazing and so close to us, they looked like large orange squares the colour of road lights with lighter lights around them in a circle.

I started to search on the internet about these spheres. In the center was orange and red in the edge.

He was moving with constant speed in straight line. He was soundless. In 3 October the sphere turned to a dark-blue color, almost the same color with the sky. I don't know what it was. I hope you will understand my bad English.

Bright Orange Red Object Over Kent Rochester Southeast Of England

I have been looking up UFO sightings since last week, as I too saw a bright orange red object in the sky, it was just after 10:00pm. I was sitting on the sofa and I saw this bright object over the houses opposite from me.

I went outside to look at what it was, but the object was moving so fast, heading in the direction of Maidstone, and within seconds it was out of sight. I fetched my camera and sat up for 4 hours afterwards sky watching, but never saw anything else. There was no way it was an plane as it was round and bright orange red, and too large for a plane

I told a friend about this who thought I was crazy, but these other sightings the same night have convinced me even more it was a UFO.

PS: forgot to say Kent/Rochester is in the southeast of England about 30 miles from London.

Lights Making Some Strange Maneuvers Over Dunlop Ayrshire Scotland

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was walking my dog around 7:00pm, it was just getting dark and I passed a couple of other dog-walkers on my way to the Millenium Woodland Park in Dunlop, where I usually take my dog at least once a day. I ran up the "Brechna Braes" hill with my dog, and stopped at the stone seat for a rest and faced out west I believe where there is a huge outlook of the sky.

There was a very bright star, like Venus or something and I looked at it for a few seconds, then noticed suddenly a small round light appearing from around the star somewhere and heading downwards, it would appear and disappear momentarily at different areas, which I found very unusual as our aircraft doesn't do this kind of thing.

It moved to the left of my vision and I then noticed another of the same objects appearing above it and doing the same kind of moves, downward, left, disappear, reappear, upwards. There was no definite flight path, and they had no noise from them. A couple of times I heard a plane breaking the sound barrier and when the planes were fairly near, the objects would disappear.

Then I noted that they seemed to gradually get smaller until they disappeared at the same time, like they were heading out west towards the coast. I went down the hill with my dog, and into another field, but did not see anything unusual in the sky at that time. I then exited the field at Templehouse Woodland through the gate and walked down the path instead of going through the fields.

I looked at the sky to my right and saw one object which looked brighter and nearer, which was flying smoothly, unblinking, not flashing, with no noise, moving in the distance above the trees, in the same direction and at the same pace to which I was walking to give me a good view. It was quite fascinating, that view lasted a couple of minutes then it just vanished like a light going out, and I couldn't see anything anymore.

Strange Force Startled Man's German Shepherd At Craigend Glasgow Scotland UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I'm one of the folk that saw the 2 round objects. Just to follow on from that.

I just had my large German Shepherd out for a last walk tonight. Normally we see a number of fox on our walk, but there were none. I was walking in the same area (sober) and there was a strange feeling in the air tonight, I can't explain it at all.
I was walking along the usual path and was gently, but firmly pushed on my back.

I turned and saw nothing. Then a very heavy feeling came over me for a few seconds. I thought I should return home as I didn't like the feeling. Just then my 4 year old extremely large German shepherd spun round and looked directly behind us (she was on the lead) my dog looked startled and her hackles went up. I looked around, but again saw nothing. I returned home, but my normally calm dog was anxious all the way home. Found this very strange.

Metallic Oval UFO Above Us At Michoacan Mexico

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hello, a whole bunch of kids got together to play along the river, me been one of the oldest. We stay until dusk, playing on a pool when we noticed real bright lights coming up river above the tree tops 20-30 feet back. Then there were no lights this bright. We were a couple of miles away from town.

The object came over top of us as we were getting dressed, there was no noise coming out of it except the sound of wind (not sure if it was the trees as the object moved so close to the top?) also the lights were bright, but not hurtful to the eye.

As far as the object, it was a metallic bluish and smooth as glass. I could almost see through it. I ran after it easily staying up with it, until I realized, I was alone as my friends scattered the other way. Sorry no pictures, no cameras available at that time.

Large Orange Ball Of Light Hovering Over Encounter Bay South Australia

Hi Brian, on Saturday the 25th of September also at about 9:00pm my husband and I saw a large orange ball of light hovering seemingly fairly low in the sky. From our perspective it seemed to be at least 10 times the size of visible stars.

Possibly more. It moved in what seemed to be a deliberate way across the ocean, pausing at times and then shot quickly (flames or at least a lengthening of the light) appeared and it seemed to leave the atmosphere. This took place over a period of approximately 5 minutes. Unfortunately we were too stunned to film it.

We live in Encounter Bay, South Australia and our property overlooks "The Bluff" and the ocean. The light seemed to come from South West of the Bluff.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At approximately 20:00hrs I opened my back door to let my dog out. I looked up at the sky which was a little cloudy, but mainly clear. Whilst looking up, I seen a big deep bright orange spear head shaped object with white trails moving from my right to left at a quick speed.

It was low flying so I can honestly say it didn't look like an aero plane. I watched it for about 30 seconds and it just disappeared in the clear part of the sky as if going upwards. I have never seen anything like this before.

Hi, my name is (name removed), I took this pictures on a KLM flight over Holland, about 15 minutes before landing in Amsterdam coming from Copenhagen.

I have to say that I never saw the object. A drunk nasty guy sat next to me and tried to make conversation, so I did like I was taking photographs outside.

On some other photos little spheres can be seen. The date is on the photograph, it is Mexican time because the camera was programmed here.

I hope you can tell me what this is, I have seen many strange objects since I was a child, but never anything that looks like this.

Three Bright Orange Disc Shaped Objects Over Lancashire UK

Time: Approx: 10:45 p.m.

Dear Brian, I glanced out of the window on Saturday 2nd October 2010 at approximately 10:45pm, and noticed three bright orange disc-shaped objects in the sky at a distance of approximately 3-5 miles away, near Pendle Hill.

They were moving at a varied, fluctuating speed and appeared to be in formation. They were then joined by a fourth, similar object and after approximately 30 seconds, disappeared. At the time I was not under the influence of any drugs or alcohol and was quite awake.

There also appeared to be faint, indistinguishable outlines surrounding each of the lights. This is the only sighting of any strange activity in the skies I have witnessed. I live in Great Harwood, Blackburn and do not consider myself a UFO spotter.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Two silent orange star shaped objects one behind the other seen by my husband and myself. It was very clear and very exiting and very silent.
