Orange Crescent Moon Shape Object Seen Over Exmouth Devon England UK

Hello Brian, your website is the first that came up on Google when I typed in 'orange crescent moon shape disappearing'. To give a time date and place before I begin, it's the 12th August 2012 in England and this all happened at around 2:35 a.m.

I was smoking a cigarette out of my bedroom window, which faces east and I saw a beautiful glowing moon (object). At first I thought it was the moon, and was admiring the vibrant colour (as I have seen red moons abroad before, so thought it highly possible for there to be an orange moon and counted myself lucky).

It must have been around 2 minutes before it disappeared within seconds. Unfortunately I can't say how long it was there, as I only saw it for the 2 or so minutes I had noticed.

I immediately realized that the sky is not starry as we have just had a small and brief thunderstorm and that I could not see the moon from any window. I had my laptop in my hands, luckily, and Googled it straight away.

My first reaction was to think it a UFO sighting and to know that you saw the same in Chicago is to much of a coincidence! I have never seen a sighting before, and have always believed that there is something beyond us, but this has made me want to question things further.

Black UFO Spotted Changing Shape And Color Over Nowra NSW Australia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It was Melbourne Cup Day 2003, about 1:00 in the afternoon, warm and sunny with a clear blue sky. I was walking south just before Nowra Mall in the main shopping centre when I heard seagulls screeching loudly overhead.

 

This was unusual as they do not normally leave the park area and fly towards the Mall.

Being a keen birdwatcher, I looked up and noticed a strange object in the sky in the direction from where the birds were coming.

It was black and hanging strangely in the sky, alternately rising and falling. Then it began to ascend quite quickly directly above the Woolworths building,"straightening out" vertically, appearing to writhe and ripple. It was jet black and did not show any reflection at all of the bright sunlight. It appeared to have ends set at a right angle.

As it continued to rise quickly, it changed shape completely to become a more rounded shape, solid, more "UFO like".

I continued to watch as it rose so high into the sky, almost straight up, that it became a small black dot. It suddenly flashed silver, then silver again appearing like a star, before disappearing from sight after about 3 seconds of shining. I thought it was very strange as it had not reflected any sunlight up until that moment.

The sighting left me very puzzled and I often wondered about it. Then, a couple of years later I happened to come across the Rense website and saw photos of an identical object in a photo of a woman called Mona Farrell standing in a crop circle in Canada.

 

There were other photos of the object, identical to what I saw before it changed shape. Someone had suggested it could be a lens flare as no one had actually seen the object in the photos but I know for certain that it is a real object in the sky, but I have no idea as to what it could be.

Bright Orange Lights In A Horseshoe Shape Over Enfield UK

My wife, brother and I also first saw this light heading east over Enfield, no noise as it passed over the shape was similar to a filled in horseshoe at about 9:00 p.m.

 

It seemed quite low and was flying in the opposite direction to the aircraft flight path that passes over our house.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At 10:00pm I went outside to put rubbish out and I watched one orange light flying east very slow. I did not hear any sound. If it was a jet, it was a very quiet jet. About 20 minutes later the cat was at the back door. I let him in and the 2 orange lights came flying same way.

I asked my wife to get my phone so I could take 2 pictures. I managed to take two photos. I no all the planes in the sky as I live 8 miles from Gatwick and I have never seen lights from any aircraft going in that direction.

Bright Orange Cigar/Capsule Shape UFO Over Bebington Wirral UK

Very bright orange cigar/capsule shape object, travelling at speed greater than an aeroplane. Went in a straight line initially and then swerved. We watched it until it disappeared from sight. It was most certainly not a firework, even though it was bonfire night. What better time for earth to be observed by aliens when strange coloured fast moving objects could be put down to fireworks? Two of us witnessed the object.

Three Bright White Lights In The Shape Of A Triangle Over Macclesfield UK

Hi Brain, my name is (removed name), I am a delivery driver for a place called (place of employment removed). I went on the website http://www.sightings.com/1.reports2010/macclesfieldUK08082010.html and they asked me to tell you if I saw anything like what you saw. (Note: Brian Vike did not have the sighting, but rather a witness wrote in with the report).

When I finished work on 28/08/2010 (last week) around 2:30am I was on my way home and just before I pulled up outside my house, (in Macclesfield) I saw 3 bright white lights in the sky, at first I thought it was just stars, but I thought to myself that they are to bright, so I got out my car to look properly and realized that the 3 lights were moving slowly to the east. They were in the shape of a triangle and I don't think they

were planes and they were to close together. They had no flashing lights on them and the lights were just to bright. I don't know if any one else saw it, as I was on my own at the time. There was no clouds in the sky as I could see, all the stars were out.

UFO Changes Shape Over Manila Philippines

Time: Approx: 3:00 p.m.

I live in the Philippines. At that time I had an office overlooking the Pasig River which flows through the city of Manila. In mid-January of that year, at around 3:00pm, with the sun on the other side of my building and about 45 deg above the horizon, I looked out over the river and saw a small, bright white object just above the horizon. I thought it was a small, single-engine plane, apparently coming straight towards me.

As it got nearer, however, no discernable shape resolved itself. It remained a completely featureless cigar shape, silvery white in color, like white paper or possibly aluminum under bright sunlight (the sun was directly behind me).

It never dropped to an altitude at which anything, trees, buildings, telegraph poles which might have given a clue to it's distance from me, and hence it's size. However, at a point I rather arbitrarily judged to be directly over the river, it changed direction and began following the course of the river. If it was over the center of that body of water, then its diameter might have been that of a large dining table, or a rowboat.

As it moved over the Guadalupe Bridge (as I judged it), it wobbled slightly up and down, but did not yaw. It gave the impression at that point of adjusting itself to the visible dimension that it was in.

It then began to rise diagonally, and eventually disappeared into a cloud at about 3000 feet.

The entire phenomenon was visible for about 5 minutes.

As it rose, it's shape appeared to change from cigar shape to ovoid to round. I interpreted this to mean that it was a flattish saucer, which I had initially seen almost edge-on. Kind regards.

V Shape Of Orange Lights Disappear Over East Yorkshire

Hi Brian, I have come across your website this morning after trying to establish what it is we saw last night.

About 00.15 having just watched the London Firework display on the TV our cat started acting strangely and was looking out of the back door with ears back and quite distressed. I looked out of the door expecting to find either a dog or fox or suchlike in the garden but instead saw a series of orange lights, we all watched, they went over the house towards to the Humber river in waves. We saw about 16 of them but there had probably been more judging by the cats behavior.

The final three we saw drew closer together and formed a V shape turning in the sky and then finally disappeared over East Yorkshire at about 00.40. My husband looked at the last ones through binoculars and said there was a white light within the orange circle. They made no sound, were slow moving so were no aircraft that we generally see over these parts. My children stayed looking for a further 10 - 15 minutes but no more came over.

Do you know what we saw? I have seen that similar sightings were in Nuneaton and Glasgow, we are in Goxhill North Lincolnshire.

Orange Lights In A Triangle Shape Over Glasgow Scotland UK

Hi, I would like to report these orange circular lights that have been witnessed with 5 other people on my street. I stay in one of the highest points in Glasgow and after going into the New Year we noticed these lights in the sky very clearly. They were 3 in a triangle shape moving very slowly upward and then disappearing then 10 minutes later in my back garden I noticed 2 more.One in which that looked a lot bigger in a bubble shape moving away to the west.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hey again, Yesterday 3rd of May 2009 myself , my brother and his friend finished fishing at Coomera river. We went down to the jetty to clean out feet from all of the sand. My brother and his friend were talking, so I decided to walk back to the car when a red/orange light in the sky caught my attention. I watched it for about a second and a half when it changed colour to white and squashed itself into a flat shape object and within seconds it disappeared. The whole thing lasted about 3 seconds. I asked them if they saw it but they said no. I got in the car to see the time and it was 6:02pm At first I thought it was a plane or a flare until it changed colour. No sound was heard. I don't have a clue what it was. Thanks.

Blair Atholl Perthshire Scotland U.K. Video Shows Object To Be Diamond In Shape (Pictures)

Shape of Objects: To naked eye. Roundish video shows it to be a diamond shape.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: 10.10pm - A very bright fiery red light was seen travelling apparently slowly in a westerly direction. The light was flickering, the object was silent, there was no wind and the sky clear and starry, no moon. It's progress was steady, quickly getting fainter and smaller suggesting that it was moving at speed and climbing steeply (if it had not been climbing it would soon have been hidden by the hills) it was soon just a faint dot and gone. Total observation 2-3 minutes

10.55pm - From the same location another was seen exactly the same followed 30 seconds by another they also travelled westrly following roughly the same path as the other at 10.10pm. Their description is exactly as the first, flickering very bright fiery red and silent. Their progress was also no different, fading to nothing in a few minutes. Total observation 3-5 minutes

The direction of travel was to Kinloch Rannoch some 15 miles (as crow flies) where an earlier observation was reported 1/1/2009. My nearest obs point was approx 1 mile. Linked circumstantially but not physically observed. Was that directly over head appeared a very bright light moving NW 1-2 minutes after each of the observation times i.e.10.13pm to 10.15pm and again at 10.58pm to 11.03. This light was 4 times as bright as Venus and speed similar to a passenger airliner at cruise height, not on a normal flight path though and silent, this light continued NW faded very quickly. I could not guess at the speed of any of the objects as being dark there was nothing to gauge them by.

This in many ways is simmilar to the 1 January 2009 report on Kinloch Rannoch where 5 objects were seen, to assist in any investigation, where the observer was told of military test grounds nearby. There are no military test grounds anywhere near Kinloch Rannoch, all areas are totally unrestricted for anybody at any time excepting during the Deer Stalking when it is advised to ask estate managers to access hills etc. RAF uses all of the Scottish Highlands for low level flying this is always noisy. If I can find an email address I will send you extracted from video photos these are unfortunately black and white, but unedited.

Nuneaton, Warwickshire UK UFO Triangular In Shape

Description: Bright light spotted hovering in air for a good 30 mins or so at 7pm ish. At first we could just see 1 light but when zoomed in it gave off different colours.

After trying to focus the lens I noticed it looked triangular shape. It was moving very slowly put staying in the same area. We filmed it with 2 camera phones 3.2m/p and 5m/p the better camera produced a pulsing effect. Were also viewing it with a night vision scope and binoculars. We seen what looked like helicopters flying around now and then nearby as the distinctive lights gave us the impression that's what they were. We noticed it was getting lower but this was very, very slow. The craft was near the location of the quarry next to farmers field which I know off the back of my hand. We popped next door for a short time, came back about 9.45 and it had gone.

I told my partner and we watched it glide across sky and fade. About a minute later another one came across the same path and faded.

Milton Keynes Central, Buckinghamshire, England Lights Make Triangular Shape

Description: I was a passenger in a vehicle moving along the V6 Grafton St from N/W. When we arrived at the Portway/Grafton St roundabout traffic lights, I saw two white lights in the sky toward the East above CMK. They were much brighter than those of a plane. As we passed the roundabout and continued along the V6 past Abbey House, I noted a plane high above these lights. The mystery lights were not moving in relation to this plane above it. I then discovered a third light, this time red in colour, pulsating slowly. The two white lights and one red were in the shape of a perfect triangle.

By this point we were level with the object, it was still in position, and the red light was intermittent, but pulsating. I kept this object in view until we turned onto Childs Way. I then saw the object begin to move off slowly in a N/West direction toward the Bradwell area.

TV/Radio: No reports that I have made nor seen.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was playing football in the back garden. Afterwards I went to sit down on the grass, as I was relaxing something had caught my eye in the sky. So it got me looking up at sky as I was trying to find what got my attention, eventually I could see what it was, it looked to be shiny/metallic largish object. I would guess it was about few hundred or several hundred feet up in the sky (hard to estimate) but it was in view range.

Well anyway this object kept on blinking in and out of sequence was kind of hard to keep a track of it, for every half a second to say about a second it kept flashing in and out it kept doing this for the majority of the sighting, which lasted for about 10-15mins. I thought is this object flashing because the sun was reflecting off it, because it was a hot sunny day, this object looked to have some sort of controlled appearance to it, like an intelligence, similar to what a satellite does. I have no clue what I witnessed but it was nothing I have ever seen before, I lost the object as i went to go get my binoculars, I came back, and I couldn't find this thing.

South Melbourne, Australia Round UFO With Faint Cylinder Shape

Description: Round Orange shape with faint cylinder outline. There was no sound & it wasn't moving at an unusual speed nor changing directions unusually. My wife & I first noticed it traveling from the East & disappeared to the south. Total duration approx. 2 minutes. 1 min recorded on Sony Handycam from 8th floor apt. however, it's not that clear or defined as it was starting to move away from us to the south. Still it is was very unusual & something we can't explain.

Crewe Cheshire, England 4 Objects In A Diamond Shape

Weather Conditions: Light cloud some stars visible slight breeze.

Description: From my home directly south 4 white stars? in a diamond shape. They appeared to be rotating clockwise. I only saw them for 20 seconds the first time then they just switched off. They re-appeared 2 minutes later for maybe 30 seconds but did not rotate this time, once again they just switched off. About 5 minutes later a crisp white light appeared just above the roofline it never moved in any direction and stayed visible for 1 minute. It was to large for a star and very bright it blinked 3 or maybe 4 times and disappeared. I do quite a lot of night fishing but have never seen anything like them before even on the clearest of nights with a full sky of stars.

Hi John, I have watched the balloon video and I am 99% sure that they are not what I saw on Thursday night. I don't think that they would have been visible from the distance they appeared to be, I to have been to Thailand and witnessed the balloon festival and the effect was totally different, apart from them appearing to move clockwise they had no other movement like the balloons. I'll keep an eye out for any more. Thank you for replying to my report bye for now.

Description: Working outside when spotted a silver oval shaped object hovering in the sky it was below cloud level as clouds were passing over the top of it. Called my friend over to see what he thought we both thought it was strange we watched it for a couple of minutes when all of a sudden it shot off at high speed over the channel towards France leaving us very confused as to what we just saw.
