Intense Bright Light Continues To Brighten Up Witnesses Home At Lancing West Sussex UK

Hi, for the last few weeks an intense bright light has lit up my lounge up to three times a night and up to four times a week, I thought it was just my imagination, but even the cat is jumping in fright.

There are no helicopters or anything else in sight, we have a police helicopter that passes here with a search light occasionally, but it is nothing like this.

This is an intense light that floods my lounge even when the light is on, on some days the cat is afraid to go out, has anyone else mentioned this.

Red Lights In The Sky Over Eastbourne East Sussex England UK

Number of Objects: A series of four red lights in formation in a line of four, some were in a triangle formation of three and one on its own.

These objects were moving across the sky in formations of four moving quite slow.
Shape of Objects: Small red round lights.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was walking my dog last night 04 10 2012 when I saw a line of four red dots or lights in the sky. After a few seconds another set of four appeared behind the first four, three of which were in a triangle formation.

Then another set of four this time in a more uneven line of four. The kept coming then my dog got spooked by something, so we went home.

Three Legs Dropped From The Underside Of The Pill Shaped UFO At Horsham West Sussex UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was about 8 years old and I had gone to Horsham Sussex UK for a school trip. I think the sighting happened about a day or so after arriving at the camp. 

 

Myself and my cousin took the beds nearest to the window in our room, and two other friends where on the far wall. One night we was all playing around at night like 8 year old boys do, giggling and farting and just joking when I could hear a rumbling noise.

 

It was a bit like thunder outside. I looked out the window and across the field that was outside our room. I could see like a white mist approaching and I could also see in this order, red, blue and green lights spinning in an anti clockwise rotation.

 

It was not coming towards us very fast, but then it was there. We could all see this craft that was no more than 20 - 25 meters away hovering outside. The craft itself was bathed in a ghostly misty light, then the rotating lights went out and it was like the craft had a rectangle middle section which was like smoky windows, a black brown colour and the top and bottom were like brushed aluminum.

 

Now I’m 44 and I can say it looked like a flying pill. Then 3 legs came down and then the under section of the craft opened in a kind of jittery way. It was not what you would expect from some craft from an advanced civilization.

 

Next a long silver rod with all I can explain, it had what looked like a huge ball bering on the end of the rod. Next there was a very bright yellow white flash from the ball bearing to the floor outside, then the rod and ball went back into the craft and the flaps shut.

 

I remember looking at the window and I could see movement behind the left hand side window. It had like 4 or 5 sections of windows following the shape of the craft, then there was a whooshing noise like air escaping and the craft just vanished into thin air.

 

With that we all started to scream and ran out of our room and ran down the hall and stared to bang on the headmasters door, he opened the door very angry. We started to tell him what had happened and we were all told to go back to bed and stop making things up.

 

Till this day, and I’m 44 now the whole thing still freaks me out. I now wonder what time it was that we woke up the headmaster and why no one else heard or saw this beautiful craft.

Four Flaming Balls Of Orange Light Over Bognor Regis West Sussex UK

Time:  Evening.

I saw 4 balls of orange flames last night Saturday 16th April, 2011, from Bognor Regis, West Sussex. They came one after the other and were moving in the same direction away from the moon. I saw the flames only with binoculars. 

They stayed in one place very high up and just west of the moon as I was looking at them. They were there for only a few minutes and eventually went out. Just after this there was what seemed like a star, but with binoculars it was shooting round in straight short lines all over itself making a pattern. I saw two of these.

Object Looked Like A Plane On Fire Over Bevendean Brighton East Sussex UK

Hello, At about 8:50 or 8:55pm this evening I saw something strange in the sky, so I just Googled 'Mysterious fire object seen from Sussex' and found your 'Bright Orange Light Over Horsham West Sussex UK' report.

So I must tell you what I saw. I thought it looked like a plane on fire, moving through the sky, low on the horizon, across the back of Bevendean, Brighton, and then down, somewhere visually in the area of Sussex University or possibly just north of Woodingdean.

It seemed to have a head and wings. I thought it was a plane on fire, 'or was it just a boomerang shape?' I thought afterwards because I wasn't sure if I had seen any body beyond the wings, just head and wings shape.

I have checked the news and found no news of a plane crash so far. So maybe it was a meteor moving through the atmosphere, burning up, with a tail of fire at top and bottom, bending back. I have drawn it in pen. I'll try to draw it on my computer later tonight.

It moved quite fast, I saw it for, I guess about 20 seconds, I was shocked thinking it a plane on fire so communicating this to my partner downstairs. I view it out of the north window on the first floor of a house in east Brighton.

I shall check the news again later.

Hello Brian, It was dark, about 8.50 or 8.55pm. (BST). I'll attach a picture I have made of what I remember. It is difficult to be sure of certain details such as the time it took to move across the sky as I saw it, and exactly how far it moved. And I think it looked like flames because of the colour I suppose.

I think its forward trajectory slowed just before I think I saw it begin to drop. Do let me know if you hear of anyone else seeing something like this, please!

5 Orange Spheres Over Arundel West Sussex UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At approximately midnight last night, I pulled up the blind to observe a few fireworks and suddenly noticed 1, then 2 and then 3 orange spheres moving steadily and noiselessly low across the sky. As soon as they disappeared, one and then another emerged from the sky and followed the same pattern.

This was seen by myself and my mother.

They were not fireworks and not helicopters so we are very curious about them. Sincerely.

Bright Orange Light Over Horsham West Sussex UK

Hi There, my daughter pointed me towards this site after telling her of seeing a bright orange light at 18.50pm on January 1st, 2011. My wife saw this light and watched for about 5 minutes before asking me to have a look as well. I live in Horsham West Sussex. My wife thought it was something on fire, it was shaped like a round ball' when I saw it I thought it was some thing on fire as well, it was moving South West towards Guildford.

The object was very high, at least as high as aircraft passing to land at Gatwick airport or taking off we observe these often as Gatwick is only 10 miles away, this object was not an aircraft and to high for a lantern, I went to get my bino's and camera, but the light had faded possibly through cloud layers. I reported the sighting to the Sussex police center at 19.20pm on Jan 1st 2011 about half an hour after the sighting. Regards.

6 Pink Colored Objects Over The Sussex Coast UK

Hi, We saw similar lights early this morning. I thought they were more pink in colour. There were six lights at various heights looking south, there were two looking north, two looking east. Huge Formation Of Bright Orange Lights Over South Harting West Sussex UK

Hi Brain,I have just come across your website, whilst researching UFO sightings in Surrey/Sussex, after seeing a very strange formation of orange lights last night (1st Jan 2011. It would be great if you could post it on your website as I'm convinced due to its size someone else must of seen it! Many thanks.

Last night I saw something I can not explain and its made me feel very uneasy. I don’t believe in anything paranormal/UFO and have never seen anything like this before. However on researching UFO sightings I found this website and am convinced someone else must have seen what happened last night (New Years Eve 2010) as there were so many fireworks/Chinese lanterns. I have seen the video footage of the lanterns and this was defiantly not them.

For the past month (December 2010) I have seen ‘orange lights’ high in the sky over the fields at the back of our house. Initially I thought they were very bright stars, however they much bigger and seemed to ‘pulse’. There has been between 3 - 5 of them moving very slowly and even seemed to cross over each other before fading away completely.

Even on a cloudy night, when no stars are visible the orange lights are still there. My husband also saw them, but couldn’t give me a rational explanation for what he saw. Believe me I've gone through so many possibilities in my head, Aero planes, shooting stars, lanterns, fireworks, RAF maneuvers, nothing could possibly explain them.

It gets worse, last night 1st Jan 2011 just after midnight, both my husband and I saw a huge formation of bright orange lights very close to our house. It was huge and so bright! The scary bit is that they made up a formation of: 1 at the top, 1 at the bottom and in the middle 3 lights were in a triangle and slowly moving around each other to make smaller and bigger triangle shapes.

We watched them transfixed for about 5 minutes, clearly seeing the sky light up with firework displays as people we celebrating the new year, however these were no fire works or lanterns and as before they slowly faded away to nothing. In the distance, a huge red light appeared very bright stayed for about 5 minutes and then faded again like the rest.

Someone else must of seen this, it was so big and bright and unlike anything else I’ve ever seen. I know these sightings are pretty useless without video or photographic evidence, so I'm going to be waiting with my camera next time and for the record I wasn’t drunk.

Please can someone give me an explanation or did you also see this, I feel like I'm going mad!

Bright Orange Light Over Liphook West Sussex UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My partner and I were coming home from Avebury in Wiltshire, where we spent most of Christmas discussing UFO's and Crop circles with my brother and his family. (This in itself was a very unusual happening, since my brother is a corn circle skeptic).

On Boxing Day evening, returning home down the A3 from my son, home near Henley-on-Thames, we took the Liphook exit and then left off the second roundabout towards Hazelmere.

After about 200-300 yards we spotted a bright orange light coming across the sky in front of us from the right. At first we thought it looked like some kind orange rocket of fireworks, but after it reached the highest point it didn't, as normal for a rocket, begin to plummet, but stayed up and continued to travel across the sky.

At that moment my partner thought it resembled a Chinese lantern, but that was also dismissed as it was way too big and too fast. It was at least 8-10 times bigger than any aeroplane light, it’s orange/red light wasn't shiny, but rather misty, gentle and transparent, similar to a glow in the dark that pulsated at a constant frequency.

It came around us in a half circle and then hovered above the roof tops, pulsating directly outside my passenger window, which I quickly opened so that we could both see it even more clearly. It stayed there for about 10-15 seconds before disappearing behind the rooftops. We quickly accelerated to get a clearer view and my partner caught it shooting off at a mighty speed.

This was a first UFO sighting for both of us and the best Christmas present either of us could ever have imagined.

If it was a jet, it was a very quiet jet. About 20 minutes later the cat was at the back door. I let him in and the 2 orange lights came flying same way.

I asked my wife to get my phone so I could take 2 pictures. I managed to take two photos. I no all the planes in the sky as I live 8 miles from Gatwick and I have never seen lights from any aircraft going in that direction.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: On the morning of the sighting, I walked downstairs and into the dining room. Opening the blinds, I looked out into our back garden and noticed that the sky was particularly clear. Looking over to my right (southerly direction) I noticed a bright white light in the sky. There were no other stars except this one, but it was brighter than normal and significantly larger.

I instinctively got my camcorder because I thought it might be a planet. Zooming in on the object, it became clear that this was not a planet. The object was triangular, with a black band around the middle and a rounded base. It appeared 3 dimensional, and may have been rotating. It was sand coloured and remained motionless throughout the brief recording.

While I was recording it, the camcorder zoomed back by itself, even though my finger was fixed on maximum zoom. I believe that it was either a natural phenomenon or that it was possibly a U.K military vehicle. I haven't been able to upload the footage, but when I do I can let you know.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was going up to the hills to watch Perseids and saw an orange light coming towards my wife and I. I was expecting an aircraft to be producing the light, but it flew in a continuous trajectory to the only small wispy cloud. I wasn't expecting the cloud to block out the light, but it flickered before reaching the cloud and (went off?)behind the cloud. It was strange to see as my wife also thought. I would hazard a guess at approximately 150-200 MPH at 1,000 feet altitude in a straight line with no noise at all.

10 Plus Orange Colored Lights Over Bognor Regis West Sussex U.K.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Saw three orange lights in a triangle formation in the sky. I was looking at them in a easterly direction. I have seen these before, but can't remember date. I noticed few more trailing behind, then a few more, but they seem to be on different courses, but all heading in a northeast direction. One went over head, I would say hundred/hundred fifty feet. It was a solid bright orange light. There was a noise that wasn’t loud, but like a wind sound and only for a few seconds, then that was it, no more.

Between Lancing And Worthing, Sussex, UK A Huge Silver/White Ball Stops

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Outside having a quick ciggie before bed, I was looking at the stars when out the corner of my eye I noticed what appeared like a large star, but it was moving, heading from West to SouthEast direction.

At first I thought it must be a plane or satellite or something, but quickly realised that the other aircraft in the sky had blinking lights and also, this seemed much higher up than any aircraft, was travelling much faster, and was heading away from me, so could not have been aeroplane lights. Nor a helicopter, as it was way, way higher then they fly (and I'm used to seeing helicopters around here and know how they look from various angles etc). Yet I wasn't convinced it was anything much out of the ordinary.

I carried on watching for a few minutes, finishing my cig, expecting it to just go on into distance out of sight, when it suddenly doubled right back on itself, did a 180 degree turn and travelled back Westwards, towards the same spot I first noticed it, then started coming closer towards my area. It was now moving much more slowly. This was when I realised it was something unusual.

I was about to dash inside to grab my camera when it suddenly stopped, lit up really brightly and expanded in size, into a huge silver/white ball, at least 5 or 6 times bigger than original. Compared to the largest star nearby, this object was now huge (about size of a golf ball held at arms length).

I was dumbstruck. Still am.

It stayed like this for only five seconds or so, then returned to its original smaller size and then turned to North East direction. It disappeared after approx 15 minutes. I stayed outside for a further 30 mins or so, to see if it returned, but nothing. This really was utterly extraordinary. It was totally silent and really did seem to be scouring the area, changing directions several times.

I do hope some other folks witnessed this, as it would have been absolutely impossible not to see it had anyone else been looking skywards at the time in this area.

Seaford East Sussex England 6 Or 7 Objects In Formation

Description: I was sitting in the garden, having a ciggie and looking at the stars, when I saw six or seven very faint star-like points of light, moving across the sky from the West. It lasted for about 3 seconds, which was just enough time to resolve the lights. I had no point of reference as far as size and distance, but they were all in line. It was strange to me, but I definitely saw it.

UFO Makes Unusual Maneuver Over Newtimber, West Sussex UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was sitting down outside having a ciggie and I noticed a really bright plane (or so I thought) light in front of me. It was so bright, it made the light look diamond shaped. I kept watching as it was a very bright light (which would mean the plane should be coming towards me) but realized it was actually travelling from west to east in front of me. I then noticed it didn't have any plane undercarriage or wing lights flashing and there was no noise. I then noticed it was travelling faster than a plane should be at that altitude (we live around 25 miles from Gatwick airport so planes do pass by). I then started to get excited as I have never seen a UFO. Then the light started to travel upwards very fast (still in an easterly direction) towards the stars and disappeared before my eyes. The night was clear and starry with no moon, I was sober and there was no wind or other witnesses. What next?

They all vanished around the same point and the third one moves up down and then up a bit then carried on the same arc as the first and second and disappeared in the same place.It was such a brilliant flickering orange. We live under a flight path and that was not a plane or helicopter. At first we put it own to a flare but flares don't rise slowly and dance around like this did.
