Vertical Orange Light In The Sky Over Ingleby Barwick Teesside North East England UK

Me and my girlfriend spotted vertical orange light at 7:45 p.m. on 4th March 2015 from Ingleby Barwick Teesside North East England.

It was an amazing sight, and I still can’t work out what it was, as I don’t think it’s ice crystals as wasn’t even that cold that night.

3 Red Lights Travel Upward Hover Then Disappear Over Hartlepool North East England U.K.

Time:  Evening.

I saw three separate red lights over Hartlepool at the weekend.

They rose from ground level or the sea and then hovered before they disappeared. Then another 2 rose and did a similar thing.

I was viewing from high ground in Stainton, England, UK.

Lights Making Unusual Maneuvers Over Leicester East Midlands England UK

Date:  December 5, 2014
Time:  Evening.

I saw 6 objects in the sky tonight over Leicester, UK. At first I thought it was a helicopter carrying a big container.

Then the two objects split, the small (just a bright light) vanished and then I observed the larger of the two, which was a large square object with lights on each point suddenly stop and hover until it moved at a 90 degree angle side ways.

I have never in my life seen a helicopter or a plane do something like that and then it just disappeared!

About two minutes down the road after just telling myself it must have been someone messing about (as I'm rather skeptical on these things and try to find a logical answer) I then witnessed 4 more of the smaller objects just hovering and not moving!

Without a doubt I am freaked out.

Bizarre Lights Seen In The Sky Over Oadby Leicestershire England UK

Time:  Approx: 8:45 p.m.

Hi Brian, I read a blog post just now that talked about an experience that happened over Leicester earlier tonight. I too saw the strange lights and objects in the sky.

It was about 8:45 p.m. when I was driving near Oadby when I saw what looked like the under light of a helicopter which was carrying what looked like (underneath it) a huge container or object of a square nature with lights on all four corners. I continued to drive just observing it when the two objects detached from each other.

The smaller of the two went off to the right and then disappeared whilst the larger moved over Asda (in Oadby) and abruptly stopped, at this point all my skepticism had been abolished and my stomach dropped, it then suddenly moved at a sharp right angle.

I have never seen a plane or a helicopter do this in my life. I am fair certain that planes cannot just move like that and helicopters have to swing forward slightly to go sideways.

This was as if it had stopped turned mid air and then moved again. It shortly vanished. A couple minutes up the road I then saw another square looking object followed by 3 more smaller with a single bright light, they were all hovering.

No movement what so ever, now I did think these could be stars but no, they were way too close to the road to be stars.

I was a serious skeptic about UFO’s, but tonight blew me away.

Red Lights In The Sky Over Eastbourne East Sussex England UK

Number of Objects: A series of four red lights in formation in a line of four, some were in a triangle formation of three and one on its own.

These objects were moving across the sky in formations of four moving quite slow.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was walking my dog last night 04 10 2012 when I saw a line of four red dots or lights in the sky. After a few seconds another set of four appeared behind the first four, three of which were in a triangle formation.

Then another set of four this time in a more uneven line of four. The kept coming then my dog got spooked by something, so we went home.

Two Balls Of Light/UFOs Make Unbelievable Maneuvers In The Sky Near Garroby Hill East Yorkshire England UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was travelling to Selby North Yorkshire, England, from Kirby Underdale which is situated at the top of Garrowby Hill, East Yorkshire, England.

I turned onto the A166, a road that spans from York to Bridlington. I was heading towards York at this point.

Upon my turning right onto this road, I instantly noticed two lights travelling, side by side at the same speed tracking parallel to my car, it was almost as if it was the reflection on the glass.

I realized that this was not the case after maybe 8 to 10 seconds of keen observation, the object's moved at a faster pace in the opposite direction (the right, back the way I came) about a centimeter in distance from my perspective.

The object of light to the left (I have shivers writing this) accelerated off to the left in the opposite direction to the way they had initially started moving, steady at first then bolting off at an incredible pace to the likes of which I had never seen.

The other light (the only way to describe it) "chased" after it at the same speed.

I was shocked to a state that I rang my mother who's house I had just left to explain what I had just seen.

Being in the Royal Navy, and having first hand knowledge of flight observation, the mechanics of flight and fast moving air contacts, limitations and air patterns, what they look like from a distance, in day and night.

I know that those "lights", moved as an actual air craft due to their displacement in time, speed and acceleration.

In my opinion, the pair of white bright lights at approximately 3 to 5 miles away in the sky that night where pushing, not only "the envelope," but unworldly speeds, that in my experience where well in the excess of mach 5, in a matter of seconds.

The two objects travelled across the sky until my vision was blocked by horizon tree line. It would of taken a fighter jet 10 seconds at least to get to that point. They where there in maybe 4 or 5.

I strung together an unsuccessful list of possible objects that move in this manor, there isn't any.

I was the only vehicle in the area, it wasn't until a mile down the road I passed a car heading the other way.

Large Red/Orange Object In The Sky Over East Rand Brakpan Gauteng South Africa

Time:  2:00 p.m.

 

Hi Brian, on Sunday 04/03/12 at about 14h00 I saw a red/orange object in the sky. At first I thought it was a weather balloon.

 

After it disappeared, I realized that it could not be a weather balloon as it was just a bit smaller than commercial aircraft at that height when they are flying overhead.

 

It also crossed the skyline at a greater speed than what aircraft do, and there-fore it could not of been a weather balloon. It crossed in a south to northerly direction.

 

Did anyone else see this ? I live on the East Rand in Brakpan.

Orange Object Observed Over Shoreditch East London UK

I just saw the same thing exactly (orange, but occasionally a red bit) just now looking out over East London in Shoreditch. Quite beautiful, thought at first a phosphorous like firework and then thought massive meteorite.

 

It was really amazing overall and the first such thing I have seen. It happened about 00:20 (a.m.) Monday 18th, June 2009. Think its also a full moon.

People Watch Jet Fighters Chase UFOs Over Teeside North East England UK (Pictures) ?

Hello, I am new to this and for your information I never believed in any of this. I've never been compelled to do something like this and was more on the skeptics side until April 15th, 2011. I could not believe this was happening to me and the thousands of other witnesses across Teeside, northeast England.

 

It was around 10:30 p.m. and two or three R.A.F Typhoon fighter planes roared over us at very, very low altitude.

 

People in the street were watching as the fighter planes chased this all most phosphorus lights which were changing colour and with ease out maneuvering the military jets.

 

You could clearly see the typhoons after burner (which is highly illegal over populated land) and they were not training.

 

The following week and the local news paper arrived I was looking at the photos and the story when it said "thousands watched the illegal, but spectacular phenomenon take place and the emergency services phone lines were overwhelmed with the public reporting the UFO and the chase and with the local air port receiving information and if it was visible on radar the chief A.T.C controller said "I can confirm that at 10:41 pm on the 15 April 2011 some unidentified aerial object's were intercepted by civilian and military radar and R.A.F typhoons were dispatched from R.A.F Leaming to identify and if needed take action to neutralize the object's if posed a threat to civilian air craft or the civilian population.

 

The craft after been intercepted, vanished and as such the threat was no longer there and the military jets returned to base. I can not give nor comment on this phenomena as I don't have any knowledge on this only that it was witnessed by the thousands and that it happened".(Gazzete media company)

Object Looked Like A Plane On Fire Over Bevendean Brighton East Sussex UK

Hello, At about 8:50 or 8:55pm this evening I saw something strange in the sky, so I just Googled 'Mysterious fire object seen from Sussex' and found your 'Bright Orange Light Over Horsham West Sussex UK' report.

So I must tell you what I saw. I thought it looked like a plane on fire, moving through the sky, low on the horizon, across the back of Bevendean, Brighton, and then down, somewhere visually in the area of Sussex University or possibly just north of Woodingdean.

It seemed to have a head and wings. I thought it was a plane on fire, 'or was it just a boomerang shape?' I thought afterwards because I wasn't sure if I had seen any body beyond the wings, just head and wings shape.

I have checked the news and found no news of a plane crash so far. So maybe it was a meteor moving through the atmosphere, burning up, with a tail of fire at top and bottom, bending back. I have drawn it in pen. I'll try to draw it on my computer later tonight.

It moved quite fast, I saw it for, I guess about 20 seconds, I was shocked thinking it a plane on fire so communicating this to my partner downstairs. I view it out of the north window on the first floor of a house in east Brighton.

I shall check the news again later.

Hello Brian, It was dark, about 8.50 or 8.55pm. (BST). I'll attach a picture I have made of what I remember. It is difficult to be sure of certain details such as the time it took to move across the sky as I saw it, and exactly how far it moved. And I think it looked like flames because of the colour I suppose.

I think its forward trajectory slowed just before I think I saw it begin to drop. Do let me know if you hear of anyone else seeing something like this, please!

7 Bright Orange Lights Near Galston Kilmarnock East Ayrshire Scotland

Dear Brian, I live in a tiny village called Galston, near Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, Scotland. Last night, at around 22:30pm, I was having a conversation with my mother when I happened to hear a loud car which brought me to the window and up above in the sky were 7 bright orange lights.

I read from your blog that someone had a similar sighting in January around the same area and they were just the way they described, travelling horizontally and gradually making their way into the distance.

My mother and I were completely fascinated by this, as we truly believe there is other life out there somewhere. I hope reporting this is going to be of use!

Red Orange Lights Over Hedon East Yorkshire UK

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that we experienced the exact same thing, but on 2nd January at around 11:00pm. At first it was just one and I thought it must have been a very quiet plane or helicopter but then another 4 followed, same height and travelling in the same direction (easterly). Thankfully my husband was home so he saw them too!

So glad someone else has seen what we saw! Have no idea what they could be, they were reddish/orange in colour and completely silent, quite eerie really. Let me know if you find out any more info.

Multiple Lights Over Sandyhills East Of Glasgow Scotland

Time: Midnight onward.

Hi Brian: My Mum and Dad, my Wife and I started seeing these unexplained orbs last night, from about the twelve midnight bells onwards. They were completely en-masse at that time then tapered off to the sporadic one's and two's up until around 3:00am. They appeared as round bubble shaped balls, bright piercing orange light emitting, totally silent yet very fast indeed.

All in all I/We saw in the region of 23 to 28 of them. At the time of our first sighting, they were en-masse, perhaps twelve to fifteen of them in the sky at one time. We are located on Sandyhills in the East end of Glasgow and from our vantage point, they seemed to be originating from various directions. We saw some come from the Hampden direction, the Bishopbriggs, Kirkintilloch, Kilsyth direction, but perhaps the majority were coming from the flight line direction of Glasgow Airport.

Strangely however, they all seemed to be heading in exactly the same direction which I would estimate as East to Southeast. Equally strange was the fact that probably 80% of those that we witnessed were all substantially below the cloud line and the others we would subsequently lose under cloud cover. We tried to capture this on camera still shot and handheld video cam, but without success whatsoever.

I called my Uncle who lives in Cumbernauld and told him that they seemed to be heading definitively in his direction.

He called me back about 45 minutes later and said, although he did not see the quantity that we did, he saw perhaps 5 or 6, but one of the aforementioned was directly overhead. Close enough in fact to get a really close look outside using binoculars. He quite clearly and articulately states that although the light was very bright giving a round shape effect, it was actually a long shape in an East/West form with piercing orange light at the center, but the entire article was surrounded by tiny white lights all the way around.

I have seen Chinese lanterns many times and in many countries and these did not conform to that consistency whatsoever. The light was at no time intermittent as in the case of the lanterns and there was no significant wind to even propel them from so many locations, all in the one direction.

I am quite sure that some people were perhaps quite indifferent to them at first as when we saw them at first, here were also may fireworks/rockets going off all over the city. When that finally curtailed however, the objects had the sky to themselves and they carried with them, some kind of eerie, silent serenity. Not invasive or threatening at all but mind blowing fascinating nevertheless.

Orange Lights Over East Grinstead UK

Time: Approx: 8:45 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.

Hi, I read with interest about the lights sighted over East Grinstead on Christmas day. We saw orange lights last night, New Years eve. We were walking into town at about 8:45pm and above the Kings Centre direction we saw 5 orange lights at an equal distant apart which were stationary.

Then another one flew above us over the town going southwest. When we came out of the pub later at about 12:30 am we saw another one fly over us, but the other lights had then gone. Don't know if anyone has come up with an explanation yet, but they didn't appear to be an aircraft as there was no noise and we are use to seeing aircraft in this area. Regards,

Two Bright Orange Lights Over East Lothian Scotland UK

Time: 10:30 p.m.

On the 25 December 2010 at 10.30pm in East Lothian Scotland, me and my family had just stepped outside our mother-in-laws house when we spotted two bright orange lights travelling low heading east from our position.

The lights came about a minute apart and with no sound. The second one was larger and brighter and we had them in view for about 2 to 3 minutes. We had seven witnesses to this in total. Possibly thought it was meteors, but been on internet and no reports of meteors in that area and at that time. I also checked news and heard about the Indian rocket explosion, but it would not be rocket debris as all debris fell in to the bay of Bengal.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At 10:00pm I went outside to put rubbish out and I watched one orange light flying east very slow. I did not hear any sound. If it was a jet, it was a very quiet jet. About 20 minutes later the cat was at the back door. I let him in and the 2 orange lights came flying same way.

I asked my wife to get my phone so I could take 2 pictures. I managed to take two photos. I no all the planes in the sky as I live 8 miles from Gatwick and I have never seen lights from any aircraft going in that direction.

Triangular Shaped UFO With Black Band Around It Seen Over Hailsham East Sussex England UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: On the morning of the sighting, I walked downstairs and into the dining room. Opening the blinds, I looked out into our back garden and noticed that the sky was particularly clear. Looking over to my right (southerly direction) I noticed a bright white light in the sky. There were no other stars except this one, but it was brighter than normal and significantly larger.

I instinctively got my camcorder because I thought it might be a planet. Zooming in on the object, it became clear that this was not a planet. The object was triangular, with a black band around the middle and a rounded base. It appeared 3 dimensional, and may have been rotating. It was sand coloured and remained motionless throughout the brief recording.

While I was recording it, the camcorder zoomed back by itself, even though my finger was fixed on maximum zoom. I believe that it was either a natural phenomenon or that it was possibly a U.K military vehicle. I haven't been able to upload the footage, but when I do I can let you know.

Bright Orange Light Hovering Over East London UK

Time: About 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Hi there, my name is (name removed), from East London, UK. I heard about this particular story from my Dad, he told me that he has seen something and it spooked him. He was leaving Tesco's in Galleons reach where he works about 6.30am and 7:00am Thursday 16th December 2010. As he was walking to the bus stop, he couldn't help but notice a powerful bright orange light just hovering in the dark sky, he couldn't workout what it was, then he thought to record it on his phone.

He showed it to me and it scared me, this light was brighter than street lights and seemed very low, so low and unexplained that my dad was freaked out. I'm curious, what do they want with us? Yours thankfully.
