Full Description of event/sighting: At around 6:45pm my mother, brother and myself noticed a light flickering above the suburb of Milnerton in my home town of Cape Town South Africa.
At first we thought it was a really bright star, but after a few minutes it was glowing incredibly brightly, still completely motionless. I went to grab my binoculars but by the time I had focused them on the object it had dimmed out almost completely and a craft flashing red, blue and white lights began moving away out of our sight (a building was obscuring the view).
It wasn't a jet/plane.

Berne, Switzerland Orange Light

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Star-like, orange light.
Full Description of event/sighting: About 30 to 40 degrees above horizon. The object first seemed to fly in the viewers direction. (The light's getting brighter.) After about a minute the pretty strong light faded away, object disappeared. Sky was clear, no clouds, near to or full moon. The length of the observation about 1 to 1 1/2 minute. I expected a copter/airplane because we have some copter traffic due to a hospital nearby and the object stood still for about 20 seconds. (the brightness of the light source doesn't changed any more). But the copter/airplanes have blinking lights an much more to white. This orange light was constant. No blinks.
It probably was a manned balloon, but I'm unsure if they would get a permission here for a nightfly. Maybe a late landing procedure? But it still remains a question why using the burner that high off the ground for more than a minute and then take no further action. That make no sense to me but is the only rational explanation.

Barnstaple - North Devon England Sky Comes Alive With Jet Aircraft

Time: Approx 9.30 p.m.
Just out of interest. I thought I'd let you know that something's being on in our skies here tonight. Approx 9.30pm tonight, I was sat watching TV when I had the weirdest feeling and our dog started to pace the room (I was in our kitchen/dinning room - out back of our house) I felt really weird, this feeling precipitated the next sensation/sound, which was almighty roaring of aircraft flying above our houses.
Our dog didn't bark, but started pacing around the room looking bothered and he whimpered a few times. At first, I thought it was probably nothing very much to get alarmed about and thought that it was probably something to do with RAF Chivenor marine base. I called to my husband to ask him what he thought it was. He commented that it was nothing very much, just practice for the military probably.
Then it started-up again, even louder this time. It sounded as though it was right above our roof ! I got outside the back door as fast as I could, my husband followed me saying that it's probably RAF Chivenor doing some kind of training. (Over top of peoples houses ?)
I/we could clearly hear the roaring of jet aircrafts, however, we couldn't (see) anything - not a thing ! We could see lots of "stars" as the sky was so clear and the moon was very bright, but we couldn't see any aircraft at all even though we could clearly hear them. It was more than one aircraft, it just had to be, by the sounds we heard, either that, or one hell of a big aircraft of some kind ! It went on for several minutes and then the whole sky seemed to come alive with the roaring. I didn't see any next-door neighbors looking out their windows. I even went up stairs to look out the windows to see if anyone else was looking out with curiosity like I was, I couldn't see anyone at all. They probably all had the same opinion as my husband and so didn't even bother to look see.
Maybe my husband's right, maybe it was some kind of military exercise ? It's just that I had such a weird feeling and our dog behaving like that was odd too, he's always ok when a helicopter fly's over nearby as it never bothers him. It was no way a helicopters, not making sounds like that !
There's something else I will tell you. In the very early hours of Wednesday morning, my husband decided to drive up to our local 24 hours grocery store, it's just up the road here from us, as he had realized that we had run out of milk, he wanted to go buy some. My husband told me that something strange had happened on his way back from the store (it was still dark - only 3:30am. He told me that as he was approaching the round-about, the bonnet of the car had lit-up a violet/electric white blue color, this light, he told me, was all across the road directly in front of the car. He said that at first, he thought that it must be a police car driving up and reflecting lights ahead or an ambulance or some such emergency type vehicle.
However, he said he could hear no sounds of emergency sirens or anything, the road was completely empty, he had even got ready to pull-over incase an ambulance wanted to rush past him, as he was coming up to the traffic lights. That's when he thought that it was very odd, as he checked in his mirrors, he could see absolutely no emergency vehicles , no other traffic on the roads at all, he then thought that he must be hallucinating or something, but quickly realized that it was in fact, very real, he said he then saw one vehicle on the road ahead in the distance from him it was a white Mercedes van ,which he said he saw turning-off to his right. My husband said that after noticing the van driving down towards the town centre, that this violet/electric white blue light, that was lighting up the road directly in front of him had totally gone now.
I just thought that this might be of interest to you some way , and I have to say that I'm now wondering whether these 2 events may be linked in some way.

Maryborough, Australia An Organic Looking Plasma Ball

Location of Sighting: Maryborough.

Shape of objects: White plasma/metallic.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was sitting on my back deck when I noticed a strange movement in the sky. I grabbed my binoculars and for 20 minutes watched an organic looking plasma ball of light morphing into different forms then turning into a metallic plate and wobbling. It continued this process over and over again as it traveled north. Every 3 minutes or so a metallic ball or probe would fly past the main craft at great speed. The main craft also at one point spat out a white light that kind of fizzled out as it dropped to the ground. That night 6 amber lights traveled around the sky's between 6pm and 9pm. Stop start movements. (I got photos of the plasma craft).

Lake Illawarra, NSW Australia A White/Yellow Ball Moving Across Sky

Weather Conditions: clear.
Description: While swimming in pool looked up in sky and seen white/yellow ball moving across sky traveling from south to north it was directly above me about 5 times the size of a star when looking up at night sky.there was no sound as it passed. I showed my wife and she said no its just an airplane and I said airplanes light flash at this time an airplane appeared in the sky traveling in a southern direction from the north. the airplanes' lights were flashing and were red and green with and the airplanes lights were 1/4 the size off the UFO lights.The two aircraft were on a collision course for a number off seconds then the UFO started to ascend then shot off vertically at a great speed.When the airplane continued on its course I could here the engines as it flew overhead when I heard no noise from the UFO.

Shape of objects: Kind of like a triangle.
Weather Conditions: It was night, the sky looked clear.
Description: It was around 9:00pm, I was staring at the sky just outside my room. Plenty of airplanes fly around there, so I know what planes, helicopters etc move like. This object had extremely bright lights, I first noticed that it was moving very, very slowly. Then it came to a complete stop, for almost 10 seconds. Then it circled horizontally extremely fast and then moved away out of sight. This all happened in under a minute. No airplane etc. I have even seen can move like that.

Description: A dense glowing cloud in the shape of a comet with a straight solid black mass in the middle. It was traveling faster than a plane and not as fast as a falling star. It was falling towards ocean in direction of Redhead beach. Not appearing to decrease in size.

Shape of objects: Circular ball.
Weather Conditions: Clear night sky.
Description: Saw a very large bright orange ball in the sky it had a hazy glow around it and a hazy tail. It was not flashing and was definitely not a plane or a weather balloon. It was moving fast heading west straight for a star then shot up in a vertical direction and disappeared. The UFO had no sound. Within 1 minute we all saw three planes headed in the same direction that were flashing and we could hear the sound of the engines. The planes were very close in flight path and direction for that time of night and they were following the UFO. The UFO was much larger than the planes. When the UFO was close to us it would have been about 3 times the size of a plane.
TV/Radio: My neighbors said they heard something about a UFO on the radio about it but I am not sure exactly what was said and when it was broadcast. I did not hear it myself.

Description: Looking out to sea we saw what looked like a kite or a flock of birds all flying in unison across the sky but flying very fast and changing directions. It flew up and down then sideways then disappeared heading towards the Port of Brisbane. It wasn't a plane because it didn't seem to look solid and changed shapes and it wasn't birds because it was traveling too fast.
