Orange Balls Of Light Seen Over Enderby Leicestershire UK

Date: March 27, 2010
Time: 10:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Enderby Leicestershire.
Number of witnesses: 4
Number of Objects: 3
Shape of Objects: Orange balls.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I had just gone into the garden to have a smoke before going to watch the football on TV, when to my utter horror a orange ball the size of a car appeared in the sky. The sky which was completely clear and I thought this object was going to hit.

I rushed into the house to call the other people who were there and we all rushed out to the front of the house to see if it would crash. It met up with two further objects over the Fosse Park area of Leicester and remained stationary for around a minute. Then all 3 of the objects departed in different directions. I don’t class myself as a believer, but this has utterly confused and I wondered what 4 people saw that night.

Disk Shaped UFO Hovers Over Field Springfield Illinois

Date: March 10, 2010
Time: 10:24 p.m.

Location of Sighting: North Side of Interstate 72 a few miles before Hull/Payson Exit over a field north of the road
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Disk.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was talking to my husband on the phone and looked to my right and saw what appeared to be a disk shaped object hovering in the air over a field. It appeared to be disk shaped, because I could see red, blue and white lights around it. I told my husband I was going to pull over to look at it and try to get a photo on my cell phone.

After I pulled over, I watched the disk for what seemed like a minute or so and then it started moving straight up and flew over my vehicle and flew to the southwest. I had trouble getting my phone camera to work and finally got a picture, but the object was pretty far away by then so I didn't expect anything to show up in the photo.

Later when I looked at the photo, there was a small round light to the side of the photo. Also, when I was taking the picture of the object when it was going southwest, I put my window down and could hear what sounded like a plane, but with an extra sound that was not familiar to me. I am familiar with the sound of helicopters as the hospital helicopter flies over our house frequently, and it did not sound like a helicopter. The lights on the side of the object appeared to be well defined head or tail lights and appeared only to be on the bottom of the object.

Red Glowing Light With Beam Coming From Object Over Knightswood Glasgow Scotland

Date: March 14th and 20th, 2010
Time: Approx: 11:40 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Knightswood Glasgow.
Number of witnesses: 3
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round and glowing.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I looked out my window at around 11:40pm on Saturday, 20th, March 2010 and saw what was a round bright red glowing object moving slowly in the sky. It then disappeared. There was a strong red beam of light coming from it and it was making no sound at all. I did not have time to film it, but myself and the people that saw it, had no clue as to what it was it was.

It definitely was not a helicopter or plane, because a plane flew right under it, so I imagine the pilot should have seen it. There was no wind that night either and it was moving from east to west. I still have no idea of what it was, but I know a number of people who have witnessed it over the Glasgow area recently who do not know what it is either.

Brian Vike's Note: This is the second report that we have received on a red/orange colored light that had a beam of light emanating from the object.

Large Orange UFO Over Barnstaple North Devon England UK

Date: March 23, 2010
Time: 3:00 a.m.

Hi Brian, I noticed on your UFO blog that there's been several sighting reports of the same or similar description as what my daughter described to me that she and her husband saw on 23rd March 2010 at 3:00am, except they only saw (one) solitary, very large, orange sphere, which came down above their back yard .

My daughter phoned to tell me about what had happened the next day, I recommended to her that she should report their sighting experience.

I took down written notes, as dawn was describing her and her husband's experience to me. I'll repeat it here for you:

That night, my daughter and husband had been at home watching a dvd together, then both had gone off to bed between 10.30/11.pm. My daughter said she had found it difficult getting to sleep, she decided to go down stairs to make herself a cup of tea, once down stairs, she had looked at the clock and it read 3:00am. She went to fill the kettle up at the kitchen sink, as she was doing so, glanced out of the kitchen window and she saw an intense bright orange ball of light.

She stopped what she was doing to take a closer look, she said it was very big and intensely bright, it started moving across the sky, very slowly, in a perfect straight line. She opened the back door and stood looking up at it, it started moving downwards towards the yard, until it actually came directly over head. She said it was pulsing and it had what she described as a "stomach shape thing" attached to it (the actual organ shape of the stomach) at this point.

She ran back inside, ran upstairs shouting for her husband (who wondered what on earth was happening !) he ran down stairs and as she was describing to him the huge sphere above their yard. She thought it may have gone by the time she got back to the yard, but it was still there! Her husband could see it clearly too, she yelled to him to "stay there, keep watching it", while she got the camera . My daughter told me she was amazed that it actually stayed there. She was able to get a photo of it as it started moving away, she said as it moved off, a flash came off it and it suddenly literally shot off and became a dot.

I asked my daughter, if you hold your hand out at arms length and imagine you're holding a coin, how big would the sphere be ? I asked would it be as big, as say a two pence piece ?, she replied no, even bigger than that, the only way she could describe it was as if you were looking at the moon, as big as that. They couldn't make out what the strange stomach shaped thing was, the actual sphere pulsed she said" like a beating heart".

5 Balls Of Bright Orange Fire Norton Stoke On Trent UK

Date: March 24, 2010
Time: 10:05 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Norton Stoke On Trent.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 5
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At 22.05hrs I let the dog out of my patio doors. I looked up and saw 3 orange balls of fire moving through the sky in a line moving from east to west and they were of equal distance apart. Then 2 more followed about 20 seconds flying time behind the first three.

There was no sound, whatsoever and I could clearly see that all 5 were round balls of bright orange fire. I concentrated my view to the 2 flame balls and when I looked back across the sky to view the first 3, they were gone. I thought that they may have gone behind cloud cover (it was a cloudy night and we had some rainfall).

I followed the remaining 2 with my vision and watched them until they left my view, which was about 30 seconds. The first 3 must have picked up speed and left as there was no way that they would have left my vision as I only focused on the trailing 2 for a few seconds. Does anyone have any idea of what they are? Weird.

Glowing Red Ball Of Light Over Woodley Area Of Romsey In Hampshire UK

Date: March 23, 2010
Time: Approx: 11:15 p.m.

Hi, last night, 23rd March 2010 my wife and I saw a strange glowing red ball moving very slowly in the night sky and coming towards us looking from our bedroom window at about 11-15pm. The larger and bright ball seemed to have two smaller, less bight spheres attached to it. There was no sound (definitely not a plane or helicopter - too slow. The spheres stopped in the direction they were heading after watching for about a minute or two.

They then reversed their direction (went back the way they came) at which time the large sphere seemed to lose brightness and reduce in size quite quickly. Only one of the smaller spheres was visible as it retreated. This took a matter of seconds and they were gone. Viewed over Woodley area of Romsey in Hampshire.

Orange UFO Darts Across The Sky Over Middlesbrough England UK (Video & Photos)

Date: March 20, 2010
Time: Approx: 10:20 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Walton Avenue, Middlesbrough, England.
Number of witnesses: 4
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round/Oval.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My three friends and I were hanging out nearby one of my friends house at about 10:20pm, when all of a sudden one of my friends was speechless and pointing at something in the sky. The object we saw was a yellow/orange and appeared to be on fire. At first we thought it was an Airplane or a helicopter, but there was no sound and it continued to come closer.

It then hovered over us for a bit. Until this happened, like I said I thought it was an airplane or something. We stood looking up, I started to move to one side because if it was a plane, I definitely didn't want it falling on me and at this point, it was at the same height of a helicopter preparing to land and at this point it was very, very bright.

As I moved slowly to one side, it began to follow my movement as it hovered in the air. It then started to move horizontally across the sky and the orange in it then went out, but we could still see the object. It then flashed orange again and darted across the sky at an amazingly rapid speed. We have a video about 53 seconds long of the entire thing which I will happily forward to you.

Ever since then I checked this site to see if anyone else had reported anything, since doing so I have been analyzing the sightings and I've noticed a pattern of movement all on the same night.

Two witnesses reported one object matching our description in Peter lee, County Durham at approximately 9:00pm.

It then was next seen in the outskirts of Glasgow at 10:10pm.

We saw it in Middlesbrough, England at 10:20pm

But the most alarming thing of all, an hour and forty minutes later 50 were then reported in Anniesland, Scotland.

I am still working on trying to figure out what it is all about. My three friends and I are also continuing searching for these in our area and will continue to report back here.

Bright Orange Objects Over Ayrshire Scotland (Photo/Video)

Date: March 20, 2010
Time: 9:30 p.m.

Hi Brian, I think I saw the same thing you did last night near my home in Ayrshire.

I was sure it was just two small private planes at first, as I walked the dogs up our hill, but as they got closer I noticed there was no sound and I knew I was looking at two unusual flying objects. They were very bright orange and silent. I headed for home rather quickly in the hope of capturing them on my camera.

To be honest I would have thought by the time I got to the house put the dogs in and got my phone and camera they would be long gone. However they were still there when I went out to look which convinced me they were unusual as one blasted off to the left of me and the other stayed in the one spot and then began to flit up and down etc.

I will send you a link to my phone video which is not great as it shows the object as white light and not orange, but you can see it's odd movements and on my phone software the video shows up strange shapes, but you do not see this on YouTube so I have taken a picture of the shapes for you to see.

What ever it was, I found it to be very exciting and guess I will look up more often now. The picture is big, but it has to be to allow you to see the orange shape off to the left of the moon and down a little.

Multiple Sightings Of Orange Lights Over Stoke-On-Trent UK

Date: March 21, 2010
Time: 7:00 p.m.

On searching through Google for story's or answers, I found a post that was sent to you on Saturday, February 20, 2010 about a strange light near Glasgow on February 14, 2010.

On quite a few occasions now, I too have seen a strange glow across the sky. The last one I saw was over Stoke-On-Trent and was brighter than usual which was last night, March 21, 2010 at 7:00pm. It was traveling around 5x faster than an aeroplane and the time before this was the night before (March 20, 2010) at 9:00pm. This was going about 2x the standard speed of an aeroplane.

Before this was February 14, 2010 where I saw 2 again around 9:00pm., both traveling at 2x the speed of a plane and both followed the same path. Then a couple of times before this was just after Christmas at 2:00am one day and about 8:00pm another night. I can't remember the date as with this being my first spotting and I never thought about it.

The best way to describe what I saw was, it first looks like an aeroplane on fire, there is never any sound and they don't always run the same way. What I mean is the two just after Christmas traveled the same direction on the different nights and the others seem to go roughly the same way, but last nights went the opposite way.

Where is best to report any more sightings as I was thinking of logging my sightings and keeping a record, but unless someone's going to look into this, I didn't see a point. I did take a picture on my phone, but the quality is bad so didn't bother attaching it to this email. I'm trying to get a good clear picture of it, but with the limited time from when I see it in the sky and fumble with a camera, it's gone.

Orange Glowing Sphere Flying Over Glasgow (West-End) Scotland

Date: March 20, 2010
Time: Between 22:40 and 22:45.

Location of Sighting: Glasgow (West-end), Scotland.
Number of witnesses: 4
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Orange Glowing Sphere.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Between 22:40 and 22:45 on 20 March 2010, Myself and 3 witnesses were travelling from the West-end of Glasgow towards the City Centre and saw an orange glowing ball about 2000 feet in the sky about a mile west of us. It was stationary at first, but immediately changed direction towards us at high speed, which rules out the possibility of it being a flare or anything similar. The closer it got to us, the more it started to fade before it eventually disappeared.

I noticed there has already been a reported sighting about this on here, but I thought I would add my description of the event.

Golden Blob Of Light Seen From The Outskirts Of Glasgow Scotland

Date: March 20, 2010
Time: 10:10 p.m.

Hello, just recently, 20/03/2010 ~22:10hrs with my partner we have seen something similar to what you described here at: (http://worldufos.blogspot.com/2010/01/ball-of-golden-yellow-light-over-thames.html). We live on the outskirts of Glasgow and the object was moving southwards in a straight line. It was getting smaller and smaller before disappearing altogether.

It was a golden blob of light. I'm more inclined to say it was a comet or a rock passing nearby the earth, than UFO, but than again, I have not found anything online about it so far (I did find your blog though, surprisingly) so unless it is identified it is UFO ;-)

I don't know if you will add it to your blog or not, just thought it is a funny coincidence. Take Care.

Orange UFOs Make Wild Maneuvers Over Upholland Wigan Lancashire UK

Date: March 12, 2010
Time: 10.30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Upholland, Wigan, Lancashire.
Number of witnesses: 0
Number of Objects: 5
Shape of Objects: ?

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was outside my home on a semi cloudy night when I witnessed 4 orange lights approaching in the sky, not very high, quite close, but obviously individual. The lights were sort of in a line, coming from the west, Southport direction. I assumed they were military helicopters flying in convoy, but as they approached, I waited for the associated noise from this kind of craft, but the night was silent.

As they got closer, the third light shot away at a right angle towards the south at immense speed, this was copied a couple of seconds later by the 2nd light, then the third, the 1st light continued in my direction for another 3 or 4 seconds before that too bolted away.

Once out of sight, a white light appeared in the distance and roughly in the direction the orange lights had disappeared to. The white light was stationary and grew in intensity and size for a second or two and then flew off at speed in an almost vertical path then disappeared again all of this happened without any sound, would really like to know if anyone else witnessed this.

3 Ovoid Flames Of Light Over The United Kingdom

Date: January 25, 2010
Time: Approx: 9:10 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Looking out bedroom window.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 3
Shape of Objects: Ovoid, flames.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was lying in bed, looking out of the window at the dark sky. It was perfectly clear, moonlit, the stars were shining. Two ovoid flames came across the sky, very close to each other, in tandem. Direction SE to NW in straight line. As these passed over another one came by, following the same track, again, an ovoid flame. I looked out and as it passed over the house next to me, its flame suddenly went out.

I think it was the same night or night after that a strange red and orange light, flashing, (it had the feeling of a structure about it), came over the house, this time from west to east. Even more strangely, that next morning I was looking out at the garden at the sky and this same object, not very high, passed in the direction east to west.

It was silent, not very high and I assume far too low for a satellite. I thought the flames so-called were flares from the coastguards, but this seems less likely the more I think about it. they were very symmetric in shape and size, very strange.

Bright Orange Glowing Object Seen From Moffat Mills To Chapelhall UK

Date: March 10, 2010
Time: Evening.
I was just explaining to my dad that last night (15th March 2010) I saw a bright orange glow in the sky while driving from Moffat Mills to Chapelhall. Driving due east past the large white bungalow, the "glow" was flying towards the east. I nearly called my mate at Kiltarie Cres, Moffat Mills to ask him to look out his back, as I couldn't stop straight away. I reckon it was heading that in that direction. Just after explaining it to my dad, I found your picture and said to my dad, "that's exactly what I saw". It isn't a plane.

Two Orange Globes Filmed Over East Of Barnsley South Yorkshire England (Picture)

Date: March 13, 2010
Time: 4:10 a.m.

Dear sir, the attached photo was taken by me on the 13th March 2010 at 4:10am. through my open lounge window, East of Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England. The object in the picture is neither as clear as I saw it with my eyes and it is also much larger in life than it seems to appear on the photo.

My digital camera, a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ-10 (SLR type) has a fairly small screen, so is difficult to see objects in the wide angle mode in daylight let alone at night. As I did my best locate it through the lens and even though I could not actually see anything on the black screen. I took a gamble and took 2 snaps, if anything was captured it would likely have been out of focus, because the camera couldn't lock onto anything in the centre of the lens to focus on, plus it was hand held which wouldn't have helped.

You can imagine my amazement when I downloaded the snaps to my computer to find a tiny orange dot near the bottom of one of the pictures, as I said the actual size of the object was much larger in reality, it was 2 globes one above the other, close together and travelling as one. It was travelling north to south. As it approached my home from the left and as it reached a position over the field's directly opposite where I stood, it stopped and remained motionless for several seconds before it started to climb quite quickly, almost vertically but slightly at an angle towards the east, until it was so high and became so small it disappeared from sight. The whole process of ascending took around 10 seconds. It was a clear (starlit), still night and it made no sound.

I have now seen this object 3 times in the last few months, twice the balls appeared in a horizontal or slightly diagonal configuration, but the last time (pictured) they were vertical. The sightings have been between 11:30pm and 4:10am. Some people may believe that the sightings are of Chinese lanterns, but I doubt this because of the fact that twice the objects have come to a standstill for several seconds, also the speed at which the last sighting ascended so quickly to such a great height and lastly I believe them to be much larger than any lantern I've seen on internet video's.

The first time I saw these UFO's it was brought to my attention by a neighbour who was walking home past my house around 11:30pm, he pointed up and behind me and said, "have you seen that, isn't it unusual" I was stood at the gates of my driveway at the time, facing away from the direction he was pointing and as I turned and looked up I saw one large orange/red glowing ball slowly moving west to east about the height of a fairly low flying police helicopter. It was totally silent and it was a clear, still night.

As I watched it moving over my home I walked back to my door and as I did I saw it at a different angle and realized it was 2 balls, side by side positioned almost horizontally, which viewed from behind and looking up would give the appearance of one ball. I quickly moved through my house from back to front and opened my lounge window to continue watching the objects progress. At this stage I was viewing it from behind and again it appeared as one ball. It carried on slowly moving East for several seconds over the fields opposite my home, when it came to a standstill . I believe it was motionless because it remained fixed in position between 2 branches of a large leafless) Sycamore tree I have in my garden. It didn't change size, as I expect it would have had it been travelling in an absolute straight line (in a different direction) away from me, which could give the effect of being still. I continued to watch for a few seconds, then turned to grab my camera, but in the second or two it took to do that the object had vanished. At the speed it had been travelling this could not have happened, as I have an excellent wide view of the skyline from my window, north, south and east, it would have still been visible no matter what course it would have taken.

The second time I saw it, some weeks later, it was travelling east to west, maybe a hundred yards south of my home, at a slightly faster speed but about the same height. Again I followed it's progress but didn't think to grab the camera as I went through the house to the back and outside, where I followed it's progress towards rooftops and going through a patch of thin cloud, until it went beyond the rooftop horizon, it appeared and disappeared several times as it travelled through the different density of the patchy cloud. Once again it made no sound and it was a still, almost cloudless night.

One night, some weeks later, I got up from my sofa, glanced through the window and saw a bright light travelling north to south, above the fields opposite my home, it was like a pencil or rod shape and was bright white, it was not much higher than the previous object sightings but it did travel a little faster, it took only a few seconds to disappear beyond the point I could continue to follow it's progress, approx 1 quarter to 1 half mile, depending on it's height. Unfortunately I did not have enough time to get my camera.

I would be extremely interested if you have any similar pictures or reports of what I have been witnessing the last few months. BTW. I have never seen anything like this before and I am almost 59 years old. Sincerely.

UFOs And Figure Attacking The Sheep At Gunning New South Wales Australia

Date: 1981
Time: 12:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Gunning, New South Wales, Australia.
Number of witnesses: Approx: 10
Number of Objects: 6
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: The night prior 3 had witnessed a large upright figure attacking sheep in the valley below. On the night of the sighting we were awoken by air force jets flying low overhead. We climbed onto the outdoor beds and could see on the horizon, 6 bright lights about half a mile away hovering and darting in random patterns at high speed. The day after I was explaining the sighting to others and pointed skyward by way of explaining and 3 UFOs were hurtling high in the sky at a tremendous speed.

Years later I have discovered the area is notorious for bigfoot and UFO sightings. I have had several other sightings and may have also had several close encounters (not sure). When young and without knowledge of such things I would dream regularly of a female E.T who I became emotionally attached.

Orange Glowing Object Over Lusk Dublin City Ireland

Date: March 14, 2010
Time: Approx: 8:30 p.m.

Hi, Just a quick email to say I saw one of these last night. It was about 8:30pm over Lusk Village, moving from southwest to northeast direction. Three adults and two kids all saw it. It seemed to be a lot lower than a plane, but instead of the red or white flashing lights, there was a warm orange glow, that seemed to pulse a bit. It passed overhead in a straight-ish line and moved at a steady speed. It was a clear night. It was probably a few hundred feet above us. It moved in a silent manner.

Orange Ball Of Fire Observed Over Aveley Essex United Kingdom

Date: March 12, 2010
Time: 8:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Aveley, Essex, United Kingdom.
Number of witnesses: 5
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Ball of light.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Yesterday evening (12th March 2010 approximately 8:30pm) whilst walking my dogs over our local recreational ground I spotted what I can only describe as a UFO.

I was chatting to my 3 children and one of their friends when the friend looked up and said what's that? It was dark and the sun had long set, a glowing ball of what seemed like fire was traveling towards us in the sky from the northeast, it was traveling at speed and in a straight line. Within seconds it had almost reached us and seemed to slow at an even rate and then eventually stopped and hovered.

It wasn't directly above us but quite close and at an altitude that seemed the same as the planes that fly into London City airport on their landing flight path here. It hovered a little unsteadily for about 30 seconds and then took off at speed again towards the south. There was no noise no flashing lights no bright lights.

The flight path here travels from East to West and the light was a glowing orange not a bright white plane headlight and there was no red, green or white flashing lights, no noise and it hovered! This was no plane. We do get a lot of helicopters in the area, I know that this was no helicopter it made no sound and again no flashing lights. I can pretty much rule out it being a lantern, firstly it seemed far too big and the speed at which it traveled was not consistent with the wind that day and again it moved in what seemed a steered and controlled course.

This morning I Googled 'UFO sightings Aveley' and came across a very similar sighting a little over a year ago November 15th 2008. The link is http://www.ufoinfo.com/sightings/uk/081115a.shtml

I hope this of some interest to you, sadly we took no pictures and not sure they would have shown much to be honest anyway. Regards.

Blue Orb The Size Of A Full Moon Seen Over Buenos Aires Argentina

Date: March 12, 2010
Time: Evening.

Hi Brian, I was just watching TV when I noticed through the edge of my eye a blue orb, like hovering. I quickly turned to my boyfriend to tell him and when I looked again it was gone. The light wasn't a shooting star, because it had the size like a full moon, but blue or light blue. The orb was clearly visible.

I'm sure others should have seen it. I really don't know what to think of. I Googled a bit for it, but only find your site. Please, if you have some information about what might have been, It would be great. I'm in Buenos Aires, Argentina, by the way. Thank you very much.

2 Large Bright Orange Lights East Of Riseholme Road Lincoln UK

Date: February 14, 2010
Time: 6.20 p.m.

Location of Sighting: East of Riseholme Road Lincoln UK
.Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 2
Shape of Objects: Round/oval.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I reported this to UFO sightings UK just after it happened, this is the copy of my report.

Driving past a sports field (sports field empty) I saw two low, very large bright orange lights, they moved across the sky, getting close together then separating. They zig-zagged before moving off in a south westerly direction, one of the lights emitted an orange laser type beam. I stopped my car and watched them move across the sky before they went up behind some clouds, the objects disappeared but the orange glow was still visible in the clouds.

There was no audible sound coming from them. Two years ago my friend and I witnessed a similar thing, two bright orange lights, both with laser type beams zig-zagging, coming very closely together then apart, then remaining completely still above us, we watched them for about ten minutes before they shot straight up and disappeared from sight. These orange lights seem to be appearing very often all over the world, do you think they could be spy drones or at worst, HAARP?

Strange Orange Lights Seen Between Trafford And Chatsworth UK

Date: March 8, 2010
Time: Evening.

Hi there, only tonight did my boyfriend and I experience something similar, we were on our way back from Trafford to Chatsworth when we noticed these strange orange lights that started off in pairs, with one at the back. They started up right hence looking, like lights on a hill, anyway they moved and came forward and formed a triangle. They glowed orange and didn’t have any flashing lights like on a plane.

They were like circular jet packs and something dropped out of one. It could have been a bit of fuel that fell in a liquid like way, but was definitely on fire, weird. What did we see? We went back to film them, but they were gone.

I ran upstairs to see if I could get a better view, most of them disappeared apart from one. I followed it as it was behind the rest. It flickered slightly, then just disappeared. Orb Shaped Flickering Orange Light Over Broxburn Near Academy UK

Date: March 6, 2010
Time: 9:20 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Broxburn.
Number of witnesses: 4
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Orb.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Broxburn near Academy: Saturday 6th of March 21:20. Two of us were standing outside in the back garden (our house is on a hill overlooking the academy) when I saw what looked like a firework rise up from the ground, it was between the A89 and the M8 in the direction of Almond Dell. I would normally equate this to seeing the headlights of a distant car as it turned in my direction, but the orb shaped flickering orange light went upwards, away from the ground.

It definitely wasn't the usual distant car headlights. I drew my fiancée's attention and asked what she thought it was, she had no idea, but saw it as clearly as I did. We watched (it was in the south) as it raised up higher, guessing but most likely about four hundred metres and then it started to move towards us (due north).

I couldn't see any green or red or any other flashing lights indicating that it was a normal aircraft, but it's maneuvers made it seem like a helicopter. The first sound I thought it was making was like a plane, but then a plane appeared, coming from right to left, heading towards the airport runway. The craft slowed and moved out of the way of the aircraft by going up a bit so I'm guessing it was pretty near it. The plane continued normally toward the runway area and the craft followed it for what seemed a distance of about three fingers, maybe five hundred metres. It then continued to head towards us and when it was roughly above the academy it moved in an arc to eventually move straight upwards.

I'd guess it had been moving pretty fast all the time to cover the distance it did but the next surprise was that it went straight up very fast until it's light faded. I'm guessing that the orange-ness must be some kind of reaction to our air as when we saw it go straight up, it changed from orange to white before fading. Not really a believer in UFOs as haven't found anything that can't be explained yet, well here we are!

UFO Fireball Mystery Solved?

Published: 04 March, 2010

A LOVESTRUCK couple have claimed responsibility for a Valentine's Day UFO sighting reported in the Highland News last week.

Jamie Stewart (23) and his girlfriend Heather Revill (18) drove up the road to Cairngorm and set off a five foot high love lantern after a romantic meal in a local restaurant.

The lantern could be seen for miles around and one report of the UFO spotted by someone in Nairn appeared on a Canadian researcher's website.

Six Balls Of Orange Light Seen Over St Judes Plymouth UK

Date: March 5, 2010
Time: 11:15 p.m. -11:20 p.m.

Location of Sighting: St Judes, Plymouth.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 6
Shape of Objects: Small balls of orange light.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: From my front window noticed three orange lights in a large triangle shape moving from the north to the south followed by another 3 the same size and in the same formation moving the same direction and speed. The lights were not flashing and moved steadily across the sky in one direction. Having lost sight from the front of my house, I moved to the back kitchen window and could only see two lights fading quickly until no longer visible.

The whole sighting probable only lasted about 30-60 seconds. I could not hear anything, but was in doors anyway. I've never seen anything like this before and I know what I'm looking at, having been brought up with parents in the RAF. Quite odd.

Difficult to guess the height, but didn't seem that high based on the time to move over my house.

2 Bright Orange Lights Over Pelsall Near Walsall UK

Date: February 14, 2010
Time: 7:15 p.m.

Hi Brian, I and my wife saw 2 bright orange lights on the 14th February 2010 at 7.15pm. We had just come out of church and the sky was clear. We watch them for about 3 minutes until they were out of sight. My son was also there. This all happened over Pelsall near Walsall WS3 are.

This is the second time we have seen the orange lights, but can’t remember the date of the first sighting, but we saw 3 orange lights on that night. They are not Chinese lanterns. They have no lights as an aeroplane would and they are silent, but they are always in formation and follow each other. Can you shed any light on this please? Thanks.

Time: Approx: 7:20 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Bergen, Norway.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Like a star.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My friend and I were looking at some crows acting strange above Bergen city center. Than suddenly a bright light erupted on the night sky and disappeared in less than a second. It looked like a star appearing, but then grew stronger in it's magnitude, then fading and totally disappeared. At this time we couldn't really see any stars in the sky, so we are pretty bewildered about the experience.

18 Bright Orange Balls Of Light Over Isle Of Skye Scotland

Date: February 27, 2010
Time: 10:23 p.m.

Hello there, at precisely 22:23 on Saturday February 27th 2010, a friend and I were driving through the peninsula of Sleat (Isle of Skye)

To our amazement we both observed some 18 bright orange balls floating over the centre of the peninsula. They looked like very, orange planets. They were below the fairly low-lying clouds and some of them moved slowly with a sort of random motion and, one by one, disappeared. Then a second, smaller batch appeared.

They also moved about slowly before fading away after a couple of minutes. No sound. If I had been alone, I would have thought I had dreamt it, but there were two of us. We are both rational, highly educated people with good scientific backgrounds (if that is of any relevance!)

Any ideas? Flares perhaps from a ship in distress? But they didn't rise into the sky and they didn't fall to the ground. They just faded away.

Some sort of military exercise perhaps? This area is riddled with sophisticated systems for killing the Queen's enemies...

Any ideas much appreciated! Kind regards.

Orange Lights/Objects Seen Over Brentwood Essex United Kingdom

Date: February 28, 2010
Time: Approx: 6:20 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Brentwood.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 2
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Before I describe last nights sightings, I must mention that a few months ago (over my house in Brentwood) my wife and I saw an unusual quite large bright orange light in the sky. It passed over very quickly, but because of it's nature (it looked like something was on fire) it was very noticeable. Last night at the time stated above I was walking to my garage at the rear of my house and saw exactly the same thing, a bright orange light moving across the sky. I assume it was below the storm clouds as it had been a very bad weather day. It was quite clearly not an aircraft as even from the highest point in the sky the lights of an aircraft are discernable.

I called my wife to come quickly and we stood there together watching this thing move across the sky clearly bewildered by what it might be. And we both definitely saw a large spark fall from it vertically. This happened twice. We watched it until it was out of range. Only a few minutes later another incident occurred and on the exact same trajectory as the first. There was no apparent sound present. All I had in hand was my mobile phone and whilst it has managed to pick up something, it is of little value as it looks just like a very small dot. Still, I am surprised it picked up anything at all.

This is my best description of what we saw, but reading the comments of others and their descriptions we mirror their experiences exactly. The only thing to add is as I said above, that we saw at least two sparks fall swiftly and vertically away from the main object. Because of this event, I have simply Googled this morning just to see if there was anything and to my surprise there was hence this email. Incidentally, I am familiar with the ISS and it's occasional trajectory over my location and it wasn't that. A quick check on the NASA website confirms this also.
