Date: July 17, 2010
Time: Between 10:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Hello Brian, I've always been a believer that there is some thing out there. My sister knows this, she has just called to say that she saw a Bright Orange Orb last night about 10:00 - 1030pm last night. We live in Southeast London Woolwich. I've told her to contact you. Best regards.

Witnesses brother sent in the above information. Below is the full report from the man's sister who saw the object.

Orange Sphere Of Light Southeast London Woolwich UK

Date: July 17, 2010
Time: Approx: 10:45 p.m.

Hi, Brian, I am a bit taken back by what I saw last night.

I live in Woolwich by the river and often sit on my balcony looking up at the night sky. I am familiar with the local flight path and know my helicopter from domestic planes, small planes etc.

Last night has freaked me a bit, I am not alone in witnessing this as my friend was with me. I literally said what the "hell is that" as a orange sphere of light very bright came from nowhere and moved very quickly with purpose. I couldn't hear anything, nothing, absolutely nothing. It was too large and bright to be a lantern and moved to quickly and seemed to go in a direct line of movement. I have never in my entire 33 years seen anything like this before. It was very quick, by the time we could register it , it was gone. I wish now I got a camera, but to be honest at the moment I was a bit stunned to think of that.

I woke today thinking about it as I watched the sky afterwards trying to justify what I saw, but I have no explanation. I spoke to my brother this morning who directed me to your site ad it seems I am not the first to describe what I saw last night.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

I live in Woolwich and during the London Olympics (cant remember the precise day) my friend and i saw a bright orange sphere fly past us from the direction of Blackheath and head North Westerly towards Plumstead where we lost sight of it. I understand lots of other people saw them in the area.
It appeared to be 'on fire' glowing in a dull orange color, no sound and appeared to switch course as if to avoid flying directly over us.
