Orange Lights Like A Flame Seen Over Midrand In Gauteng South Africa (Video Footage)

Sorry for the video, not been a good clip. I took this with a phone today. Note the plane flying and then the sky lights up for a few seconds and then vanishes.

Hi Brian, this was in Midrand Gauteng South Africa around about 8:46 p.m. dark sky except for 5 bright parts of the sky next to each other, when I say bright I mean slightly brighter then the rest of the sky.

 

 

Within each bright part, one at a time this orange light lit it up like a flame, but all of them were crescent shaped about 5 minutes from each other.

 

When I saw the first one, I thought I was going crazy and I don't smoke pot so I called my wife when the second and third one went off and as luck will have it, by the time she got there it was over.

 

That's when I got my phone and took that video as you see it does not last very long.

Light Speeds Off Over Gorebridge Midlothian Scotland Great Britain UK (Video Footage)

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I could see a light in sky to north, northeast of village, so started to film this UFO object. You can see this UFO object move off at speed to it’s left.

Object Filmed Over Silverdale Newcastle Under Lyme Staffordshire UK (Video Footage)

Time:  Approx: 1:00 a.m.

 

I was in bed and looked out my window to see a large dot in the sky moving constant and in a straight line (all I had to record was my iPad so apologies on the quality) my camera could not pick up the regular commercial passenger plane lights or the stars but could easily see this.

 

By the way this matches the description of the one seen in Birmingham on June 21st 2011 over Birmingham

Additional Information:

 

It was at around 1:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 3rd, 2011. The thing that was strangest of all was its massive size, zero noise and no extra lights such as beacons that planes/helicopters should always have, also it was not a Chinese lantern.

 

 

 

As it got bigger as it went over, not smaller so I know for a fact it was going sideways and defiantly not up and I was speechless. When I saw it, unfortunately it went out of sight because I was indoors, but I will be sure to keep a camera next to my bed in case I see it again

Bright Orange Light Filmed Over Headland Area Northampton UK (Picture And Video Footage)

Good morning, My wife and I saw this last night, but the video does not do justice to what we saw. I was watching TV around 9:00pm and we have a street light out side are house, in the corner of my eye I saw it moving. I went to investigate and their was a bright orange light in the sky.

It was about 50cm wide to look at, and was quite high in the sky.

It was hovering and then moved smoothly, but very quickly across the sky (above are house then a great distance behind the house across the street, not a lantern ) and was hovering in the distance (I would guess it travelled miles in the matter of seconds).

I was video taping it on my camera, but it was not showing up on it, so got my wife to use her IPhone. At the end of the video clip I went up stairs to the bedroom window.

It was still hovering, then it just disappeared. About 30 minutes later it came back for 1 - 2 minutes then disappeared again.

All I can say is it was not a plane, helicopter, Chinese lantern or star because of the manner it travelled, and we all know what planes look like and move in the night sky. It was very strange.

I just type in Goggle to see if anyone else saw it and you webpage came up.

Strange Lights Filmed Over Failsworth UK (Video Footage)

I've just seen some very strange lights in the sky over Failsworth as I left the office. Video attached.

I just looked up at the lights and there they were, there were other people also looking up with cameras in hand.

I managed to film a bit, but there were other lights that followed straight after and 2 grey circles moving together after that.

Very strange and certainly not something I've ever seen before, but also quite amazing whatever the phenomenon might be.

100 Plus Round Orange Lights Seen Over London UK (Excellent Video Footage)

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hi Brian, me and my wife have witnessed what we would call a UFO sighting over London last night (9 July 2010), just thought you would be interested.

It happened approximately between 10:30pm and 11:00pm, there were loads of them (maybe about a hundred in total or more) coming from southwest flying over London and disappearing to the northeast for about 30mn in total.

They looked like orange lights flying fast and high, we thought it could be balloons or Chinese lanterns, but there wasn't a strong wind that night to explain their speed and directions: They seemed to go high first on the South West, some looking like dancing with each other, and then crossing straight over London to the northeast at fast speed.

We caught it on camcorder and have still to process it, let us know if you would be interested in seeing the video.

I suppose we will know more about this today in the news, as we are probably not the only ones to have witnessed that.

Hi guys I was in Kangaroo Point and noticed red orbs of light moving around, disappearing and reappearing. It was freaky to watch, I got a bit of it on camera with my phone. Kangaroo Point, Brisbane at 7:20 p.m. on the 31st of March, 2007. Pretty much just then.

I'm sure someone else would have seen it as well, they were huge.

Description: Hi There, Got home from watching the Rugby at about 9.50pm. I took my wife and 9 month old baby upstairs to put him in bed. My wife then lay on our bed as our little one didn't want to go down to sleep.

So I decided to go and fetch all our bags out of our car. We have a really awesome view from our place as it overlooks Johannesburg. As I went outside something caught my attention and I looked into the sky and there were 7 circular disc shaped objects scattered but pretty close to one another. I have never seen anything like that in my life. Their colours ranged from intense red to orange.

I quickly ran inside to call my wife to have a look as I didn't want to believe what I was seeing. When we came outside the objects had vanished but there was still one in the sky. My wife was amazed. At that point we noticed another one of these objects rising in the distance. At that point I ran inside to get my camera to take some film. I managed to get about 40 seconds of footage before they disappeared.

I am hoping that I'm not the only person to have witnessed this.

Hi John,

Please see the attachment for the clip. I'm sorry about the quality but it was 10pm in the eve and the objects were quite a distance away. There is a lot of camera shake so don't confuse that with erratic movement. You will see the two objects above each other. There were 7 of them at one stage and I called my wife to have a look and then there was only 1 left in the sky. However another one did appear and it moved to the top of the one that was left behind if that makes sense?!?!

Anyway - I have had a lot of people tell me that I'm stupid and that I'm high on drugs which I can assure you I am not. I know what I saw and unfortunately the vid doesn't do it any justice. Anyway - I did mail it to Roger Day and he said that in his opinion it could be UFOs or I think he said ETV's? He also asked me if anything funny might have happened to me that eve at home like a time lapse or weird marks on my body. I do recall switching a light on in the lounge when this was all happening and my wife said asked me if I had switched it off as it was off and I said no I didn't so not sure if this might have had anything to do with this.

Anyway, I always try and have an open mind about things and my heart and head are telling me that it wasn't anything man made or some weather phenom. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this mail and to view the clip.

Guildford/Woodbridge Hill UK A Single Orange Object (Video Footage)

Full Description of event/sighting: At Approx: 21:00, whilst sitting in my car, I noticed what I thought was a Firework being launched from a nearby Garden.
It went straight up to around the same distance of a firework, however instead of Blowing up into lovely colours, it then proceeded to fly (slowly) over my head. It was very bright in an orange light, which looked like it was on fire, and being so close I know it wasn't a Weather Balloon, or a Helicopter. I have noticed that a few other people have seen the 3 balls of light, I myself didn't see that, however I saw the object rise from what must of been ground level.

I was lucky enough to record the object on my phone, however by the time I realized what was going on it had flown over my head and was heading to Guildford Town Centre. I have always believed in UFO's (not little green men) but things that are not easily explained, I have shown my friends the footage and although they all were laughing to begin with not one single person can tell me what it is. I have the image on my phone if you need to see it (its quite good)! All the Best.

Highams Park, Waltham Forest, London, England Orange Objects (Video Footage)

Weather Conditions: Clear but breezy.

Description: I was sitting down with my girlfriend having dinner when i looked outside of the window and saw what looked like something on fire out of the window flying past about half a mile away. I jumped up with amazement and called my girlfriend to get up off the sofa and look. She was also amazed. At first I thought it was a plane on fire and it was coming down to earth, but there was no flashing lights as such, just this bright orange glow. It was going across the sky quite fast and was heading for the forest near by. It eventually disappeared in the forest and I thought that was it, but a few seconds later it emerged again and floated off in a different direction and eventually disappeared. It was amazing I have never seen something like this in my life. I also filmed it with a small digital camera but with a small memory card and a short zoom its only about 40 seconds long, but you can make it out. I am still amazed.

Thanks for getting back to me with regards to my sighting. I have looked at the website and it did look like one of those.

Unfortunately my filming with a small digital camera is not very good quality as the zoom is not near powerful enough. I will send you the movie, the only thing I have noticed is if you look above the 3 street lights, the item I am following looks like it is changing colour. The only reason why I thought it was also strange is the fact that it ended up going into the forest area opposite me and then coming back up, but I run out of memory to capture it. See what you think anyway.

Berlin Mitte Strange UFO Filmed (Video Footage/Photos)

Full Description of event/sighting: My wife and me were looking out the window of our top-floor apartment and saw a metal object coming towards us over the rooftops from a southerly direction. We first thought it was a helicopter coming straight at us but when it came closer we didn't see rotors so we thought it was a balloon but when it came closer we dismissed that idea too. The sun was shining behind it when it came toward us. Then when it was almost over our balcony in about 200 or 300 meter altitude I decided to get the camera. When I came back on the balcony it had changed direction to the east. I shot it with a Sony PC100E (1 ccd) camera with a wide-angle objective so the zoomed out image is making it appear further away then it actually was.

We didn't think much of it. It was all very unspectacular and we forgot about the footage until we showed it to a friend yesterday who suggested we put it on

Tetbury Gloucestershire Nice Spherical/Circular UFOs (Video Footage/Photo)

Weather Conditions: dry, clear sky, no perceivable wind, around 15degC

Description: A total of nine orange lights moved silently eastwards overhead Tetbury over a period of around 3-4 minutes. The objects moved steadily, as if in formation, all at the same height. I am an ex RAF Air Traffic Controller and qualified Meteorological Observer, I have never seen any type of light like these on any aircraft that I know of or have ever seen. I have watched many different aircraft flying at night, flying circuits around airfields with different lights showing and none have ever been this colour. The perspective of the light never changed either, when moving towards, alongside and away from us, the light shape stayed exactly the same. No red/green or antil collision lights were visible, I have never seen an aircraft where the anti cols cannot be seen, especially at night.

Eight appeared in formation and then one more came along later than the others, appearing to come towards us faster, catching the others up. I managed to take one still and took a 43 second video clip.

TV/Radio: questioned activity in the area with controller at RAF Lyneham, none was known. reported to Police who logged incident.

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:

Hi John,

Happy to send the clip I took.

Only caught the first three in formation of nine, didn't realize that I was managing to capture anything as I couldn't make anything out through the view finder.

We visited a few sights that night to see similar sightings and happened upon the balloon site. I would say that without any doubt, it was not any form of balloon.

I qualified as a meteorological observer and served as an air traffic controller in the RAF for 14 years and I have never come across anything such as this. Glad to have seen them though.

Adelaide, South Australia 4 Circular Lights Captured On Video (Video Footage)

Description: Not sure if this is a hoax or not but I was on my balcony in Port Adelaide at just after 12:00am on early Boxing Day morning. I initially saw 3 lights moving slowly towards the North West from the Adelaide hills which appeared to be in triangular formation, then a 4th light appeared just ahead of the three, the light ahead started to move quicker and soon appeared to be traveling at speed with relevance to the stars/moon behind. They slowly flickered/blinked off and they where gone. I estimate my total viewing time at around 5 minutes. The captured video is just over 3 minutes.

A U.K. Traffic Officer Catches UFO On Patrol Cars Video Camera (Footage)

HBCC UFO Research Note: I have been asked to remove the actual day of this sighting, which I have done in this report. So the date reads, May 2003. I of course will protect the identity of the police officer and the person who sent me the report, photo and map. Also the footage will be posted when it arrived to me.

Hi Brian, a Traffic Officer some years ago in my force handed me a Digital-8 tape from one of the patrol vehicles. The Officer had been travelling westbound on the A59 road between Skipton and Bolton Abbey, lovely towns in North Yorkshire, UK. This was a routine patrol, (actual day of sighting removed by HBCC) May 2003 approx 2130 hours – the time and date is accurately shown on the speed-detection overlay the pursuit vehicles are equipped with.

The officer of course had a far better view than the limited resolution of the camera. The Officer remarked that the light was clearly made up of a packed cluster of small, very bright lights. It kind of shocked the officer greatly and you can see the vehicle’s speed slow down as the officer tries to take in the scene. The officer is experienced and well used to the Nightsun searchlights of the neighbouring force’s Police Helicopter and the officer was adamant this was not such a searchlight. No sound was heard (granted the officer was inside a moving Subaru Impreza, a fast chase car not noted for quiet travel as our local speedsters can attest when caught! The Officer feels this was not a fighter aircraft with reheat engaged (afterburn).

Anyway, despite this being rather old now, the officer didn’t wish any attention at all over this and asked me to hide their identity. I have protected name, gender and exact date in the video-capture. I ask if you use any of this report you describe the date as just ‘May 2003’ avoiding the day completely.

I have a DivX of the display at about 9MB. The full uncompressed unedited Digital-8 capture to pc is about 209 MB. I would just need time to mask off the day from the speed detection overlay (once I figure that with Premiere!). Let me know if you’d like the video, and how to get it to you. I hold the original Digital-8 tape.

Please don’t ID me either, please use ‘anon police officer’ if you like.

The video is not remarkable, it shows a white light slowly flare up to a peak brightness, then fade out again (I checked, it wasn’t Iridium’s) I enclose GIFs of a video-capture of a frame, and a detailed Ord map of the witnesses’ position relative to the image capture, also showing the approximate direction of the object from the officer. Distance was impossible to guess.
