Moon Sized Red Ball Of UFO Over Muizenberg Cape Town South Africa

Hi, I am reporting the sighting of a red ball in the sky about  8:15 p.m. on Friday night from Muizenberg, Cape Town. I was travelling by car passed the vlei and parallel to the main road in Muizenberg towards Cape Town.

Something caught my eye and I pulled over to see what it was. The sky was grey and there were no stars. Against this background a large red ball moved from east to west at a steady speed. The object arced downwards to earth and i was surprised when it suddenly disappeared.

The object was definitely not a plane or a flare because it was too big. Very roughly it was about half the size of the full moon.

Initially, I thought I saw the object in the direction of Table Bay travelling towards Constantia. I was struck by it's sudden disappearance and on reflection it seems probable that it moved behind a mountain.

At the time, I thought it was going to crash or land in Constantia.
I am 64 and it is the first time I have seen such an object in the sky.

Orange Crescent Moon Shape Object Seen Over Exmouth Devon England UK

Hello Brian, your website is the first that came up on Google when I typed in 'orange crescent moon shape disappearing'. To give a time date and place before I begin, it's the 12th August 2012 in England and this all happened at around 2:35 a.m.

I was smoking a cigarette out of my bedroom window, which faces east and I saw a beautiful glowing moon (object). At first I thought it was the moon, and was admiring the vibrant colour (as I have seen red moons abroad before, so thought it highly possible for there to be an orange moon and counted myself lucky).

It must have been around 2 minutes before it disappeared within seconds. Unfortunately I can't say how long it was there, as I only saw it for the 2 or so minutes I had noticed.

I immediately realized that the sky is not starry as we have just had a small and brief thunderstorm and that I could not see the moon from any window. I had my laptop in my hands, luckily, and Googled it straight away.

My first reaction was to think it a UFO sighting and to know that you saw the same in Chicago is to much of a coincidence! I have never seen a sighting before, and have always believed that there is something beyond us, but this has made me want to question things further.

Moon Like Object Over Dublin Ireland

Time:  Evening.

 

Hi Brian, I saw the exact same thing in Ireland exactly as you described it. I knew it wasn’t the moon, as this object seemed to be setting like the sun.

 

Also the fact that the real moon was in the sky at the time of the sighting.

It was almost as if the object had intended to look like the moon as from the distance that I was at. I could see what resembled craters of some sort, but almost hazy.

 

It stood still for a period of time until it gradually began to drop over the horizon. From the sounds of it, I was much closer than you had encountered. I’m an absolute skeptic when it comes to ET and conspiracy theories etc.

 

The experience hasn’t opened my mind, I’m sure there’s a logical explanation, but I can’t seem to tell people as what I saw was clearly not something you see every day.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: This object has circled over East Beach Shoeburyness Essex and we just saw it drop a small fire droplet in to the sea. We are watching it from our house. We have noticed it come around now at least 5 times.

Moon Sized UFO Hovers Over The City Of Hull, England UK

Location of Sighting: Over the City of Hull, England.
Number of witnesses: 1

Shape of Objects: Huge round, semi oval (depending on angle).

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Driving home from work I stopped at the traffic lights on the edge of the city. Looking above the buildings I could see what I first thought was a huge moon, luminous, orange or sepia coloured. It hung in the sky and was so big that I thought it was a barrage balloon lit up by lights.
As the traffic lights changed I moved off but could see the shape still above the buildings (to my right). I turned right but the object suddenly went off moving at such a speed as to cause me to think I'd not seen it in the first place. Was it a UFO, certainly it was unidentified and several other people appear to have seen it (including a TV presenter) that evening but no mention of it appeared in the local newspaper. The image will stay with me forever.

Portomaso Malta Out At Sea Around 2 Miles Off - Moon Sized Light

Description: Very bright white light the size almost of the moon, round and heading ahead of us started floating and then after a few seconds it darted very fast, again it came back and darted again.

Color/Shape: Bright white light round.

Height & Speed: Unknown.
