Full Description of Event/Sighting: Had been out and about with my cousin in his car as he had not long passed his test and boys being boys, were out all night cruising about.

 

It was when he was heading to drop me off at Logan Lea Loan, we came over the brow of the hill and instantly noticed this bright light (brilliant white) oval shape around the same length as a transit van, and probably as tall just hovering over the 2 in a block flats. Maybe twenty meters above very close.

 

There was no real noise other than a light humming/buzzing sound. As I was the passenger, I rolled down the window and leaned out, as I was trying to focus on a solid object behind the light, but I could not as we got within 15 meters the object slowly started moving north towards Craigentinny Road, at a very slow pace as we followed as if it were toying with us.

 

We continue to follow and its path changes to a northwest direction, basically the same route as Craigentinny Road. By this time, its maybe 15 meters above the 6 in a block tenements. It was starting to speed up, but still less than 30 mph and then when we got the the Findlay Gardens junction, it just vanished.

 

We were not sure if shot up/ landed in the golf course or what. We investigated the golf course and nothing as we were still full of amazement and excitement.

 

We returned the the original location, hoping it may have returned. We were parked in the middle of the street with two of us gazing skyward only to find ourselves blocking a police car that was heading up the street.

 

So we went about telling the officers about what we had witnessed, only to be laughed at. Who cares, we felt very lucky to have witnessed what we did, and still do.

 

It was a pretty busy time for UFOs that 12-18 months, as I was lucky enough to see another interesting object.

UFO Hovers Then Turns Red And Shoots Off Over Perth Scotland

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It was a cold evening and I had recently given birth to my daughter when I was in my flat located on the Creiff Road in Perth when a very bright light caught my eye over the old rail yard across the road at what is known as the white bridge. 

 

I opened the window as I thought it was at first a helicopter, but there was no sound whatsoever. It shot off to the right at very high speed, so I went out my flat and onto the balcony at the back.

 

It was there over to my left just hovering, but changed colour to red and it then shot off diagonally into the sky. This was witnessed by my husband. I did not call anyone as I thought that people would think I was crazy.

Glowing Green UFO Hovers While Daughter aAnd Mom Watch It Over Cherwell Valley UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving south on the M40 motorway on 28th February 1999. My mother was in the passenger seat on my left. We had just passed the Cherwell Valley Services, and I noticed directly ahead in the sky a strangely shaped object. The oval shape was clearly discernible and it glowed green. I was fascinated because it was obviously not a plane and looked quite large for an object that must have been a mile or two away.

It stayed in that position for a couple of minutes and then all of a sudden, before my eyes, it shot high upward with a trail behind it and disappeared in an instance. The trail gradually came to a point at the end. I immediately turned to my mother and said "Did you see that?" and she said "do you mean that strange thing in the sky”, she knew instantly what I was referring to. However, she had not seen it in front view of the car or shoot upwards like I had, but she had been watching it for 15 minutes out of the passenger window, her side of the car.

She said it was green and hovered seemingly close to us. She had stared at it constantly trying to work out what it was, but hadn't mentioned it to me because she was worried about distracting me from driving. I contacted the police that night to report the incident and they gave me a telephone number to contact. I called the number, but there was no answer, or answer-machine to leave a message.

The next day I didn't bother trying again, but made a note of the time and date. It has remained in my memory vividly ever since and I want to report it now in case there were any other sightings of this object in the sky at the same time. It most definitely was not a plane, and shooting stars do not hover do they? Or shoot upward in the sky? I drive hundreds of miles and have never seen anything like this.

UFO Hovers Outside Shirwell UK

Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.

Hi Brian, I’ve just come across your UFO sighting website after Googling UFOs in Devon last weekend as my friends and I saw one on Saturday.

I was staying at my parents’ house just outside Shirwell this weekend watching out after the meteor shower. It was a completely clear night on Saturday so I was sitting outside watching out for shooting stars, when a very bright light appeared hovering over Shirwell.

It was a large (in comparison to the stars) sphere (from where I was standing, it was about the size of a large light bulb). It hovered for about 5 minutes before rotating several times and the light disappearing.

My friends thought it could be a helicopter at first, but in hindsight, we don’t think it was as the light didn’t fly to where it was – it just suddenly appeared and disappeared just as quickly.

I’d be really interested to know if anyone else saw this?

Disk Shaped UFO Hovers Over Field Springfield Illinois

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was talking to my husband on the phone and looked to my right and saw what appeared to be a disk shaped object hovering in the air over a field. It appeared to be disk shaped, because I could see red, blue and white lights around it. I told my husband I was going to pull over to look at it and try to get a photo on my cell phone.

After I pulled over, I watched the disk for what seemed like a minute or so and then it started moving straight up and flew over my vehicle and flew to the southwest. I had trouble getting my phone camera to work and finally got a picture, but the object was pretty far away by then so I didn't expect anything to show up in the photo.

Later when I looked at the photo, there was a small round light to the side of the photo. Also, when I was taking the picture of the object when it was going southwest, I put my window down and could hear what sounded like a plane, but with an extra sound that was not familiar to me. I am familiar with the sound of helicopters as the hospital helicopter flies over our house frequently, and it did not sound like a helicopter. The lights on the side of the object appeared to be well defined head or tail lights and appeared only to be on the bottom of the object.

Silver UFO Hovers For Ten Minutes Over Openshaw UK

Hi mate, I live in Openshaw and last summer I watched a silver object just sit in the sky for ten minutes and then sped off very fast it wasn't a helicopter as I see them every day the police are always flying around our area.i was so impressed that I went out and purchased a video camera and guess what (sods law I've not seen anything since)? Moon Sized UFO Hovers Over The City Of Hull, England UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Driving home from work I stopped at the traffic lights on the edge of the city. Looking above the buildings I could see what I first thought was a huge moon, luminous, orange or sepia coloured. It hung in the sky and was so big that I thought it was a barrage balloon lit up by lights.
As the traffic lights changed I moved off but could see the shape still above the buildings (to my right). I turned right but the object suddenly went off moving at such a speed as to cause me to think I'd not seen it in the first place. Was it a UFO, certainly it was unidentified and several other people appear to have seen it (including a TV presenter) that evening but no mention of it appeared in the local newspaper. The image will stay with me forever.

Hi I was just visiting this site as when I was a young girl a lady claimed to have seen a UFO in Whitefield where I lived at the time (address removed) and everyone said she was crazy and called her and threw things at her windows so I never told anyone but I saw it too.

If it is any use to you at all the sky was a kind of red colour as it was about 5 in the morning and there was an object hovering over a field in front of my house it was disk shaped and seemed to jolt up and down for about 5 minutes, then just went so fast I was so scared like some one was stood behind me, that goose pimple feeling. I was only young but knew that normal aircraft do not move like that thing. I don't even know how I noticed it. I just saw it there and kind of froze watching it.

I hope this has helped you with research on them or whatever I just wanted to get it off my chest finally other than to my husband who thinks I'm mad.

Approach Direction: North. Departure Direction: Didn't see departure. Witness Direction: North.

Description: It began with two bright lights, one red one white. Hovering, then moving left to right and then stopped mid-air. Another four appeared, making six in total. Light regulated from red to white and increasing speed. Four lights then made and arc shape.

Color/Shape: Red, white

Height & Speed: Difficult to judge due to distance. Didn't wait around for departure.

Approximately 10 Miles From Penrith In Cumbria, UK Hovering Lights

Approximately 10 miles from Penrith in Cumbria in the direction of Keswick Cumbria, England.

Approach Direction: From left to right, 30 foot above road between Blencathera and Helvellen. Departure Direction: Up the valley towards Helvellen moving east and changed direction to north towards Penrith.

Witness Direction: the two witnesses were traveling in a west/south towards Keswick. there was a car approx 500 yards behind our car but we have not heard if they also seen the object.

Description: Low flying/ hovering set of lights 1st assumed to be a plane in difficulties due to red and white lights at low height over fields towards Blencathra object moved over to the east slowly within 50 foot in front of the car. we wound windows down to see if we could hear any problems and there was no noise. the object hovered above the road in front of us which scared us and well we broke the law and speed off in a west direction. the object was watched by myself whilst my mam drove and stayed in sight for about 5 minutes before losing sight. We tried to take photo but my mobile camera failed to work.

Color/Shape: Red and while lights in a elongated arch shape with a darkened area between the lights.

Height & Speed: 30 foot above ground level traveling at a slow speed and occasionally hovering.

TV/Radio/Press: No society or organization has had this reported to them due as no contact details being held in any local authority to contact and report this to. Other than that no media reports have been given on the sighting either.

Sighting In Malaysia Two Feet In Diameter Object Hovering

10 years ago in Malaysia, I was with five friends and we noticed something strange. There was an object which was approximately 2 feet in diameter and was hovering in the air, bobbing up and down about 20 feet above our heads. We threw a stone and it bounced of making a metallic noise. We watched it for five minutes and it just kept hovering there, we got bored and continued playing a game we were playing and we never saw it again.

Two years ago, I saw a video of UFOs which had footage of a UFO sighted by 200 people in Russia and I could have sworn that it was the same one.

West Lakes South Australia Object Hovers Over Lake Shooting Down Beam Of Light

Full Description of event/sighting: We were fishing under the road bridge for brim, when all of a sudden a bright light got brighter until it was approximately 200 meters above us. It was silent. A beam then came from the craft hitting the middle of the lake. Much like a particle beam. Like snowflake, it looked weird. Water was definitely drawn upwards. It lasted for about 2 minutes and disappeared. The water was not disturbed and there was no noise. We immediately pulled our fishing lines in and went home. There were red and green lights on the craft but no windows. This spaceship was not from this planet and was in need of salt water.

Full Description of event/sighting: At first we saw what we thought was a plane on fire as it moved into view quite quickly, but as it stopped and hovered. We then thought it was a helicopter with full lights on, but no one could hear anything. I would say from where we stood it looked like it was a couple of miles away and was quite low. It looked like it was hovering over Cannock Chase (a forest). It was large and round and very bright. It was like a golden orange in colour (I guess almost copper in colour) but appeared to be one bright light. After a few minutes of us watching it (and guessing the possibilities of what we thought it could be, although we all kept saying the same thing) it moved what could have been a mile to our left at the same height. It moved slowly and had no sound. After a further few minutes it started to rise straight up, like up and up and up etc until it could no longer be seen.

It didn't shoot up, just cruised, but in a straight line. Very strange. The same night my partner (who saw it) his brother was walking on his own across Cannock Chase (alone on the walk home at 1:30am) and there is a clearing in the trees where at that time in the morning usually comes across deer, he is able to walk near them without disturbing them. But that night there were none. The Chase almost deserted. Something caught his eye and he looked up and saw green lasers being fired in the sky. Not from earth, but as though 2 or 3 crafts very high up were firing them to each other. The next morning we saw my partners Dad and told him what we had seen. He said I don't believe it, your brother saw something strange over the Chase last night too, around 1:30am (just an hour or so after we had seen something), we hadn't seen my partners brother and had not called him as we thought nothing more once we got home, until the next day when we said to each other, 'what was that'?

Warrington Cheshire, U.K. Loud Sound And Object Hovering

Description: around 2:30 a.m. I was in bed I heard a noise like an aircraft jet noise. It went on for at least 15 minutes getting louder and louder. I looked out the window and saw a strange shaped object hovering over the houses about 10 feet over the roof tops moving slowly it had a flashing light on the bottom left hand side.

When I asked people the next day, no one heard it or seen it. It was so noisy it should of woke everyone?

Nogal, New Mexico Strange Lights Stopping And Swaying Back And Worth

Hello, I was given this email to report some strange things we have seen from our home in Nogal, New Mexico. I don’t know how to report this so I will just tell you what we saw.

We recently installed a hot tub outside our house on a mountain top in SE New Mexico and my family and I routinely go outside and watch the stars after the sun goes down. We are familiar with most of the stars we see every night and the occasional flashing lights of jets that cross the night sky. But lately we have seen some odd lights that travel in random directions and appear to move like “drunk drivers,” swaying to the left and right and appearing to stop and go against the background of our familiar stars. Sometimes these objects become very bright – as bright as the brightest stars – then suddenly do dark and disappear. They make no noise.

It has become a nightly event for us and we often tell guests about what we see, noting their smirks and disbelief. But then when we invite them to view these objects they become, like us, perplexed and addicted to watching them all night.

I don’t know if these are “space junk” reflecting the light or some kind of weather balloons but their erratic trajectory and speed seem to dispute the theory that there are high flying jets. Anyway, I just had to tell someone about this. Thanks.

Banora Point, Australia Bright Light Comes To A Complete Stop & Hovers

On the 8th of September, I returned from work at about 10:30 p.m., when I looked east and noticed a Bright Light in the sky, flashing Red and Blue. The light was in the South, traveling east. It slowly traveled east for about a minute, then suddenly stopped. It hovered stationary for about 30 minutes. Because it was so late, I didn't want to wake the rest of the family. I grabbed my Video Camera and tried to focus. But the video camera rarely got a good focus. I tried infrared and normal; the most effective was infrared though.

I observed the light for about 30 Minutes, but it was getting late, and I was getting to tired to film it. So I abandoned it and went home. I've seen them all before, but there was no way to focus the camera to let me show anyone else what I saw. Just reviewing the Video, there are a few frames, which show the object quite clear, but there are no objects in the foreground to show where the object is, therefore, the camera focused in and out, usually blurring the orb unfortunately.

This is the first orb I have seen in the South. There is not much point in sending the Video in, because it has few frames that show the object clear enough. To my family, it just looked like a star.

Also, another thing. I was browsing my image directory, and I came across some screenshots of Weather radar in March this year. I usually check the radar to see what rain is coming and such. But in March, I noticed for a couple of weeks, that there was always clouding over an area named "Ipswich". I have 7 screenshots of the radar, all showing clouding over this area. The strangest thing of all is that sometimes even if there is no clouding at all on the radar, there is always cloud cover over Ipswich. I have attached all 7 Pictures.

I quickly did a search about Ipswich and found that there is a RAAF Air Base there. I'm not sure if it is still in use. What stopped me from sending these Images in is that the cloud coverage is right in the centre of the radar. I assumed it was a side effect of the radar, or a glitch. The strange clouding is not usually over Ipswich now. Perhaps it was a Radar fault, I don't know. Here is a link where you can see the radar.
