Three Flashing Objects In A Triangle Pattern Over Chelsea UK

Date:  September 10, 2012
Time:  Evening.

I am seeing the same thing tonight from Chelsea. They are in the NE sky and seem to be flashing in answer to one another. It's just weird, had me wondering if they were UFOs.

Bright Flashing Light Seen Over Maesteg Wales UK

Date:  April 3, 2012
Time:  Evening.

Hi my name is (name removed). I was on my way home last night and saw one light that looked like a star, but was too low to be one. When we got home, we ran up stairs to get a better view.

The object was so close I could see it with binoculars, it was a flashing bright light with blue and red light. At first I thought it was nothing, maybe a plane, but after 10-20 minutes it hadn't moved.

I saw this to the west of a town in Wales called Maesteg and a few of my friends had as well. My girlfriend who was with me said she saw.

What she described to me as fire works. What struck me as odd was, the fact it had dimmed a few times only to come back a few seconds later.

Flashing Colored Light Over Johannesburg South Africa

Date:  April 08, 2011
Time:  00:15

At approximately 00:15 I saw a large "star" flashing red white and blue over Johannesburg, South Africa. It was not moving at first. I watched it for approximately 20 minutes. An hour later I came back out to check on it again and it had moved quite a distance from where I saw it first.

It moved more than any of the other stars moved in the same time span. I then noticed a similar star in the sky, but this one was much smaller and obviously moving in the same way a satellite would move when you watching it.

It was moving in the same direction as the larger "star", I watched it all the time until it lined up with the larger "star" and it then stood still. It did not move exactly in a straight line either like a satellite would normally move. It moved at a slight curve.

I have been watching stars and looking for satellites and shooting stars since I was a little girl. As I love watching them move. But this was definitely different to what I have ever seen before. The lights it flashed was in the sequence of red white blue white red white blue white etc. My colleague also witnessed the larger star as I went to call him to have a look.

Please let me know what you think this was. Regards.

Flashing Bright Light Covers Massive Area Seen From Armadale West Lothian UK

Date: December 15, 2010
Time: 10:00 p.m. to midnight.

Location of Sighting: Armadale West Lothian UK.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1 – ?
Shape of Objects: Large bright flashing light.

Update: An update has been posted at the end of this sighting report.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was in the kitchen downstairs and looked out towards Linlithgow, I could see a very bright flashing light in the skies in that area, it was a massive area and continuously flashing. I went upstairs to my bedroom and called my 12 year old son to come and look, he thought it was lightning, but it just kept on and on. It was nothing I've ever seen before and too bright and large for a plane or buildings.

I'm not sure of the distance, but it was towards Linlithgow area or maybe Dechmont. I watched for a long time and then went back and it seemed to fade after midnight or soon after that. I have a good distance view from upstairs and it looked like there was a dome shaped enormous 'object' in or on the ground which was giving off this bright flashing light.

It was amazing and I would appreciate any kind of advice or similar experience to shed light on what this was as I am mystified. I have seen a lot of strange things in the skies etc., but this was one of those I'll never forget.

Update: Please note that this sighting below is a new report and it took place on December 18, 2010.

Hi Brian, thanks, I appreciate it. I have an update as again last night in exactly the same area. I was in the kitchen again, it was about 10:30pm and another very strange thing appeared there.

This time it wasn't from the ground and didn't light up the whole sky, but it was first of all, like a huge very bright star, very, very bright and large, no way it could be a star!

The colour was bright white and there were no clouds in the sky at that time. The very strange thing is that then it completely disappeared (there was just a sort of grey straight line going vertically across) then the star-type thing just appeared again and it did this several times.

It was definitely static and did not move for at least 15 minutes or so then, as my son and I were watching (by this time we had gone upstairs for a better view again) and it seemed to 'transform' into a plane and started coming in our direction.

Now I really think there is something going on there, can things 'transform' from UFOs into what appear to be planes? I don't know, it sounds crazy, but we saw what we saw. It is strange that there were only a couple of days between these two strange activities and they were round about the same time at night.

After that incident I felt so ill, I had a really bad headache and stiff all over my body, today I still feel really bad, nauseous, headachy and very very tired. My son also feels like he has flu-like symptoms, I am wondering if it is all related to these episodes.

As I said in my last email, I have seen lots of strange things over the years, even a night-time visitation from a strange luminous large human-like creature with a green luminous face! Oh, what a strange world we live in. Please, can you shed some light on these things, I would appreciate it so much. Regards from Scotland.

Bright Flashing Object Over Birstall Leicester UK

Date: November 10, 2010
Time: 1:00am – it’s 2:06am now and can still see it.

Location of Sighting: Birstall Leicester UK.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 2
Shape of Objects: Appeared to be lights.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Both me and my boyfriend witnessed what appeared to be a very bright shining star. We were standing at the rear of his house looking southeast, towards Leicester. We kept looking at it, as it was considerably brighter than any star we could see (It is a very clear night with not much cloud cover.)

As we looked at it, we noticed it appeared to be almost flashing with a large spectrum of colour, mainly blue, red and white. We thought this was odd, so kept looking at it, and it seemed to get bigger and the lights we could see shining were not shining in a pattern, they would flash faster and slower.

Also this object we could see in the sky appeared to move considerably, almost like it was swinging, moving left to right and also up and down, but in a small area, not all across the sky. It is now 1.40am, and as I have gone out to check on it, we have noticed a small red flashing light which was next to the object when I first went out to check.

It wasn't there before I came into write this email. In a matter of seconds, this red flashing light that was next to the flashing object high in the sky has descended quickly and also is not flashing in any kind of pattern, but it is just one red light. At around approximately 1.25am the original flashing object shrunk in size, now it looks almost like any other star, but it is still flashing and it is still there.

Also, me and my boyfriend have seen what appears to be a shooting star out of the corner of our eyes on three occasions whilst looking at this object. It shot at such a speed that when you move your eyes to look at it, it has gone. Neither me or my boyfriend can explain it, the original object has transformed in it’s size and the amount of light it has been emitting has dropped.

When it was at its brightest, with the lights of different colours shining strong, it almost looked as if there was something below it, the light was casting a shadow. It’s difficult to describe, but it kind of resembled what you see at an eclipse of the sun, but obviously on a smaller scale. It is 2:07am now and the original object can still be seen, but is much smaller than it became at approximately 1:10am.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Flashing Lights Over Arbroath Angus Scotland

Date: September 13, 2010
Time: Evening.

Hello Brain, last night I watched 2 bright flashing lights in the sky for about 20 minutes before they moved into the distance. The lights did not always come from exactly the same place, suggesting to me they were part of a larger object, always flashing 2 at a times with a slightly erratic pulse. Brighter than the stars, but not as large as Jupiter which was very bright last night (14th September).

I have lost track of how many times have seen these now. The first sighting was in April of 2010, which was a huge orange light in the sky, not the sun around sunset. I have seen yellow lights, orange, a very large red one (several times), white ones, flashing ones, formations of yellow and orange.

My brother watched a formation/triangle of lights above his house for about 20 minutes earlier this year. My neighbors have also witnessed some of these sightings and were completely dumfounded. Most times the lights are too high up in the sky and too distant to be (groan) Chinese Lanterns.

I have used binoculars on many occasions, and sometimes there appears to be a large "body" behind the lights, usually the flashing ones. I live on a hill with very little obstructions around me and can see out to the North Sea.

I live in Arbroath, Angus, Scotland. Just after the New Year there was an article in the Dundee Courier about the lights after so many people from all around the area witnessed similar sightings, most emphatic that they could not have been lanterns due to the distances, speeds and movements involved.

PS. I can occasionally see airplanes flying overhead, once the same time as observing the "weird" lights and they are not comparable at all. The airplanes are at a constant speed and direction, and the lights were much smaller and dimmer and you could hear it. Yours sincerely.

West Bridgford, Nottingham, U.K. Flashing Lights

Posted: April 13, 2009

Date: March 1, 2009
Time: 20:15

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 100
Shape of objects: Flashing lights.
Weather Conditions: Clear.

Description: At 20:15 on Sunday 1st March 2009 I was in my back garden in West Bridgford, Nottingham, with my 14 year old son looking for Comet Lulin, looking South West towards Leo.

Suddenly a swarm of about 100 flashing white lights appeared, very high in the sky, moving from North West very quickly keeping equidistant, and disappearing about 45 degrees above the horizon in the South East. A solitary flashing light appeared behind the swarm and moved faster, apparently trying to catch up.

Both myself and my son saw this phenomena. We have no idea what it was. It could be a meteor shower or space debris but the lights appeared to be blinking quite quickly and at the same frequency. It could be a squadron of planes but there were about 100 lights and I have never heard of squadrons of this size flying in peacetime. There were no trails as one would expect with meteors. The lights appeared about the same size and brightness as a fairly bright star such as Regulus.
