Flashing Orange Light Over Kinsale County Cork Ireland

I just seen one over Kinsale County Cork, Ireland. It was flashing orange light, then it lit up all white and then went flashing again. Very spooky.

Round Orange/Red Lights Outside Ballydehob In West Cork Ireland

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Dear Brian, I have seen a few unidentified lights in the sky in my life. But on Saturday 26th February 2011 I saw round orangey red lights for the first time ever, and am very relieved to find other similar sightings.

This is a couple of miles out of Ballydehob in West Cork, Ireland. I walked up to my neighbors at 19:30hrs, and saw a round orangey light approaching in the sky from the north, heading diagonally across towards the east.

There are trees here and rocks, so my viewing area was not broad. There was no sound. I tried to think what this must be, I always try to be as skeptical as possible when I see strange things. As the first passed out of my view, a second appeared from the same direction. As this faded into the east a third appeared. I may have missed some that went by before I was there.

I just read about something called a UFO balloon and yes, they did certainly resemble this, but they were travelling at a steady pace and there was no wind, a very still and clear night! Are these UFO balloons self propelling?

Yellow Colored Lights Over Cork City Ireland

Date: December 31, 2010 to January 2, 2011

Time: Evenings

Hi, I've seen the light over Cork for 3 nights in a row now. That would be the 31/12, 01/01 and 02/01(today).

The light is yellowish and move steadily. It's not a plane as the light is snow flashing and it's much larger that the lights on planes. The light then stops and moves away. When the light moves away it can still be seen fading away in the distance.

Red Light Over Cork City Ireland

Date: January 1, 2011

Time: After midnight.

Hey Brian, saw some really strange lights over my house tonight. Went out the back to take a call and saw a red light in the distance ( my back garden faces towards east Cork). I see a lot of planes, this was no plane, it was a rich red which changed to orange, was moving under the clouds and passed over my house.

I called my girlfriend, obviously wouldn't have called her for a plane. The shape was oval almost egg like changing from orange to red went into the clouds and appeared again. I'm just a normal guy but this was something defiantly out of the ordinary. Anyway if you hear of any updates on this keep me posted.

Orange Lights Over Douglas Cork Ireland

Saw 2 strange orange lights side by side passing over Douglas, Cork. These were followed by 2 single lights a distance behind. Definitely not planes or lanterns as the 2 first objects kept exactly the same distance apart until they went out of eyeshot.

6 Red Balls Of Light Over Douglas Cork Ireland

Time: Approx: 8:00 p.m.

At approximately 8:00pm, December 25th, 2010 myself and my roommate had a similar sighting to yours. We live in the lower paddocks in Douglas, Cork. We saw 6 strange objects, they looked like red balls moving very strangely towards the north side. The show lasted around 15 minutes or so. Very weird. Nobody believes us obviously. Strange nonetheless.

Bright Red Light Over Douglas Cork Ireland

Full Description of Event/Sighting: A distant red light over Cork City, travelling in a gradually higher arch, towards the east. Seen from the kitchen window. I then ran out into the back garden, and watched until it disappeared from view behind houses. I did not have a telescope or pair of binoculars, but the object was similar to a bright red "star", but it was moving.

Orange Object Over Skibbereen Co Cork Ireland

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Last night I went out trick or treating with my friends and we finally came to a stop at an estate because they wanted to see there friend. We were playing with there dog when I said to my friend, hey look at that plane out there. I thought it would be a meteoroid and then my friends mother said it couldn't be meteoroid as it was moving too slowly.

I said to them jokingly, maybe it’s a UFO so most of them agreed, but one of them said it’s a Chinese lantern, so we started to have argument. Finally we came to an agreement it was a UFO because it was blindingly orange, plus it was round, but there was one weird thing it kind of span around the bottom was white and the top was orange. Please be kind enough to tell me if you saw something similar.

Red Light Changes Direction Over Cork City Ireland

Date: October 24, 2010

Time: Approx: Midnight.

The following night on 24 October 2010 my wife were walking in Cork City at about midnight when we saw the same object in the sky, coming overhead toward us, when it slowed down, changed direction, then became a whiter colour and seemed to fade away in the sky.

These two sightings baffle me completely and I am certain that many people must have seen it as the Cork Jazz festival was on at the time and the streets were full of people. The colour and brightness is similar to a tail light of a vehicle.

Looking forward to some kind of rational explanation.

Red Orange Lights In A Triangular Formation Over Cork City Ireland

Time: Evening.

Yeah I seen your reports about the red orange lights over Wexford town and Youghal, they are very similar to what was over Cork city last night, to the southeast of the city as seen from Wellington Road. One came first and I noticed it was too bright to be a plane, as I waited to see it emerge from the other-side of a tree, I noticed it stopped moving.

A triangle formation of the same size and color joined it with another one following. At one side of the triangle, two of them were perfectly parallel and they then disappeared. I have seen two objects In October 2009 and white lights performing a repetitive sequence to the northeast of Cork city in September 2009.

Orange Balls Of Light Over Youghal CO. Cork Ireland (Pictures - Chinese Lanterns)

Full Description of Event/Sighting: They burning orange in colour and ball like in shape, at first we saw two and thought they where Chinese lanterns, then there were 4 more but they did not float like a lantern would. They came together in formation of a diamond then one disappeared and then another.3 came together in a small cluster stationary very high in the sky and after a moment one flew across the sky away from the cluster and then all four faded away simultaneously. Very strange.

Dunmanway, West Cork Ireland Bright Light And Cigar Shaped UFO

Weather conditions: Clear.

Description: I first noticed a very white bright light facing south in between the hills highly visible very low, at the same time traveling south east an object caught my attention it was brown black cigar shaped, hard at first to see until my eyes focused on it on looking away at the first noticed bright light I looked back to the object south east and spotted it again it was moving at height just above the horizon. I am an amateur astronomer and see my self
as having a trained eye I own a binoculars a reflector and camera, I also had a closer sighting at the time of the Bantry Bay sightings and a sighting with my brother, I have seen very bright lights traveling at the zenith but which have turned out to be light reflecting of an aeroplane,in talking to a farm woman she told me of a friend of hers who witnessed quite often lights in the vicinity of Bantry.

TV/Radio: The time of the Bantry bay UFO radio reporting's I observed my first in Clonakilty walking home about 1am, I spotted a red light on my left about a half mile away which was the height of about a hundred feet up there was no sound at all this shocked me as I thought it was a helicopter, I carried on walking and watching the light disappeared behind the hills but to my amazement appeared again and came towards me this scared me, there are famous standing stones called the Templebryan Standing Stones the light stopped over or around the stone flashed rapidly and then moved up and down so fast it looked like the light became one, it moved of to the right of me and the away from me, very scary. Please let me know if this is to be seen by any other person. Thank you.
