We tried to take a picture, but the camera doesn't zoom in well.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was on the phone in our garden because we can't get signal inside, when I saw these two red flying objects next too each other flying across the sky, they were visible for about five minuets.

They were too low to be satellites.

After researching I have discovered that only 2 hours ago they were sighted in Canada, how could they have got over the UK already? (again, too low to be satellites).

Fast Moving Orange Colored Ball Of Light Seen Over South Woodham Ferrers Chelmsford Essex UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was outside having a cigarette in my back garden. It was a very clear evening with almost a full moon. As I looked up to admire the stars and moon I noticed a very fast moving orange ball travelling from north to south.

I only observed it for two seconds before it was over some trees and out of my line of sight.

I estimate its height to have been at around 10,000 feet. This could of course have been an optical illusion and may have been much higher. It travelled at a constant speed in a straight line. There was no trail and no sound at all.

The distance I saw it travel would have taken a passenger jet some 4 to 5 minutes.

I am sure it wasn't a shooting star as I have seen one of those before and those are very different.

Red Lights In The Sky Over Eastbourne East Sussex England UK

Time:  Between 10:30 p.m..- 11:00 p.m.

Number of Objects: A series of four red lights in formation in a line of four, some were in a triangle formation of three and one on its own.

These objects were moving across the sky in formations of four moving quite slow.
Shape of Objects: Small red round lights.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was walking my dog last night 04 10 2012 when I saw a line of four red dots or lights in the sky. After a few seconds another set of four appeared behind the first four, three of which were in a triangle formation.

Then another set of four this time in a more uneven line of four. The kept coming then my dog got spooked by something, so we went home.

Numerous Orange Colored Objects Flying Over Hawkwell Essex UK

Date:  Summer of 2009, then 2010, 2011 and 2012
Time:  Evenings.

Hi, I live in Hawkwell Essex we have also seen these oranges objects fly across over our property. We first saw them in the Summer of 2009, then again in 2010, 2011 and 2012.

Unfortunately this year the weather has been so bad we have only seen them once. They do seem to have a slight hum to them if you have really good hearing. The direction they came from was Kent, about three of them fly over at one given time.

Then a little while later they fly back over again as if they were going back.  

As we live so near to Southend’s Airport I rung them to see if they had any sightings reported but they did not confirm anything.

Red/Orange Lights Spotted Numerous Times Over Cambuslang UK

Once a few years ago I saw one massive red/orange glowing light above a shop in Carmyle (just beside Cambuslang) then last week I saw 2 smaller ones quite near each other above Cambuslang.

Then last night as my girlfriend and I walked to Morrisons and Cambuslang and we saw 3 quite near each other just hovering while planes went past.

Then one broke away and slowly glide towards another glowing light, this time even brighter and white (which may have been a satellite or a highly visible star), I'm glad someone else sees this occurrence!

Two Bright Orange Lights Flying Over New Malden Surrey UK

 Hello Brian, I just want to recount what I saw last Saturday night, for me it was a very odd experience.

I came out of my house, about to leave to get a quick hour in at the gym, when I noticed two bright, orange lights flying overhead.

They were taking a very wide arch which made me first think they were fireworks (for obvious reasons, being so close to Guy Fawkes night).

Then, what struck me as odd, was that they did not explode. The next thing I noticed immediately was that the second light was following the first.

There was no rapid movement but there was definitely a drawn out maneuver as if they were banking to the left in unison. The distance between them was constant.

Well, they weren't planes, no flashing lights and moving way too quickly. They could of course have been closer to the ground but then the light did not seem bright enough for that.

So I thought, 'oh, they're helicopters', but they were going way too fast for helicopters as well. And that's when I noticed that there were no sounds either, no helicopter buzzing, no jet engines, etc. So I simply reasoned that I had seen my first UFO. 

What genuinely struck me as odd since was my own immediate reaction, not awe, shock, surprise, etc., but a simple shrug of the shoulders and 'oh, well'.

Anyway, I left the gym at about 10:00 p.m. and was driving back, only to see the same lights in the sky again, this time roughly about a mile west of my house. As I was driving, I couldn't stop to track them, but it was genuinely a weird experience the second time around.

So what were they ?  I was very surprised to see a similar report of orange lights in New Malden in June last year on your website. I can only presume someone has got a radio controlled craft and is out for some fun to wind up the locals. Either that or I just saw ET, I am open minded to all possibilities.

3 Yellow Colored Lights Seen Flying Over Wonderboom Pretoria South Africa

Hi we have seen that to. We stay in Pretoria Wonderboom. We seen at first two yellow lights about two months ago low down and slow moving. They move low and slow and no noise.

Then close above us, they moved up and then fast and I followed them until they went so high and then stood still next to stars in the sky.

Then they looked like normal stars, then on the 2nd of November 2012 at about 11:45 p.m. we came back from pub and need to say not drunk at all, seen 3 yellow light of PTA central area as we went home.

We hoped that some one seen them to.

There where about 12 or so orange lights moving over the sky in a line and they seem to disappear in the same place.

Bright UFO Makes A Figure 8 Maneuver In The Sky Over North Devon UK

Hi Brian, my son and had a UFO sighting experience on October 20, 2012 between 7:00 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. above our home in North Devon UK.

It was a star like, couldn't make out the shape, as it shone so bright like a star, the object came directly over our heads, totally silent.

It done a figure of 8 for us, then went towards the east, came back, did another figure of 8 ,then gracefully went off again in an easterly direction.

We were both absolutely over awed by it.

Red Vertical Beams Of Light Seen In The Sky Over Lippajarvi Finland

Hi, me and my wife saw them too, 6 to 8 of them in pairs going up and down in various spots.

They were red vertical parallel beams of light. I thought they were invisible spaceships beaming things up. This lasted an hour until a mass of cloud moved in, like a curtain and blocked it out.

Location was in Southern Finland Town Lippajarvi at 9:05 p.m. on December 12th.

The temp was minus 15. ps. they were definitely not northern lights.

It was 11:00 p.m., 20/10/2012. My daughter called me to see if I saw the lights.

They were at a party down the road. I said no. Just afterwards I looked out and saw a bright orange ball going over our house in Bonaero Park towards the two towers in OR Tambo.

I ran outside, screamed for my next door neighbour. They came out and saw it to. It went behind the two  towers, the people at OR Tambo must have seen it.

It then paused for maybe two milliseconds and then shot back up with an almost purple and yellowish light.

Circular Orange Object/Light Over Newton Aycliffe UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Saw this circular orange object, first of all I was thinking it was an aircraft light. Aircraft lights are more usually white in colour, where this one was bright orange.

It seemed to be travelling as fast as an aircraft then abruptly stopped and hovered.

Then moved slightly to the right and then hovered.

It then started to rise in the sky, higher and higher and then disappeared.

A matter of a couple of minutes later it appeared further to the right in the sky, moving across then hovering.

There was no noise, not a sound at all. Total silence.

Dark sky, cloudy.

Two Balls Of Light/UFOs Make Unbelievable Maneuvers In The Sky Near Garroby Hill East Yorkshire England UK

Time:  Approx: 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Shape of Objects: Lights, distance factor indicated presumably round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was travelling to Selby North Yorkshire, England, from Kirby Underdale which is situated at the top of Garrowby Hill, East Yorkshire, England.

I turned onto the A166, a road that spans from York to Bridlington. I was heading towards York at this point.

Upon my turning right onto this road, I instantly noticed two lights travelling, side by side at the same speed tracking parallel to my car, it was almost as if it was the reflection on the glass.

I realized that this was not the case after maybe 8 to 10 seconds of keen observation, the object's moved at a faster pace in the opposite direction (the right, back the way I came) about a centimeter in distance from my perspective.

The object of light to the left (I have shivers writing this) accelerated off to the left in the opposite direction to the way they had initially started moving, steady at first then bolting off at an incredible pace to the likes of which I had never seen.

The other light (the only way to describe it) "chased" after it at the same speed.

I was shocked to a state that I rang my mother who's house I had just left to explain what I had just seen.

Being in the Royal Navy, and having first hand knowledge of flight observation, the mechanics of flight and fast moving air contacts, limitations and air patterns, what they look like from a distance, in day and night.

I know that those "lights", moved as an actual air craft due to their displacement in time, speed and acceleration.

In my opinion, the pair of white bright lights at approximately 3 to 5 miles away in the sky that night where pushing, not only "the envelope," but unworldly speeds, that in my experience where well in the excess of mach 5, in a matter of seconds.

The two objects travelled across the sky until my vision was blocked by horizon tree line. It would of taken a fighter jet 10 seconds at least to get to that point. They where there in maybe 4 or 5.

I strung together an unsuccessful list of possible objects that move in this manor, there isn't any.

I was the only vehicle in the area, it wasn't until a mile down the road I passed a car heading the other way.

Ball Of Orange Light Seen Over Enfield/Winchmore Hill UK

Time:  Evening.

09/09/2012 Saw a plane travelling at ridiculous speed on a route I had not noticed before, so I stayed out on my balcony to see if any other planes took the same route.

Long story short, there was no sign of any other aircraft to take that route and as the loud explosions from the fireworks died down to the left of me the brightest orange orb appeared and slowly started to move slowly.

It was huge and looked relatively close to where I live and before I knew it the orb had vanished as if it never even existed.

Me and my brother decided to stay and keep an eye out for anything else without much luck, although we did notice a star vanish up in the sky at which point we paid more attention.

I don't have perfect eyesight, but it did appear that something circular may have been moving across the sky way up and as it passed between our view and the star it blocked the star from our view.

I've always kept an open mind when it comes to things like UFOs and Aliens, but I've also refused to believe much that I cannot prove or see with my own eyes.

I can't pretend I know I saw an alien spacecraft, but I know what I saw was not like anything I'd ever seen before and it has made me wonder if some of the things I thought I'd seen and written off as nothing may have actually been. Thanks for reading.

Orange Ball Of Light Over Dover UK

Hi, I wondered if anyone else has reported seeing an orange ball of light over Dover last night about 8:00 p.m.?

My daughter was just dropping me home at Winchelsea Street when I saw what looked like an orange ball in the sky (looking towards Hougham). 

The ball seemed stationary, then moved away in the general direction of Whitfield. My daughter saw it too.

The light was steady and did not flash at all and there was no noise associated with it that we could hear.

Sky Lit Up A Teal Color Over Sydney Australia

Time:  Around midnight.

Hi there, I've been trying to find out the source to the the glowing haze I witnessed tonight and came across your site. It says to email if there is any further occurrences.

My name is (name removed), and I when I was driving home at approximately midnight Sydney time, the sky lit up in the most beautiful teal colour.

Then it went, and for another 5 seconds or so, it lit up again. I waited outside looking in the general direction of the glow and it never happened again.

It was like sheet lighting, and spread in a concave shape.

Orange Lights Spotted In The Sky Over Cheltenham England UK
