Two Dots Of Light Spotted Flying Over Cancun Mexico

Hi, I came across your blog when I looked up 'Strange Lights over Cancun'. I'm not sure if you've ever come up with a theory, but back in 2008 I had a similar experience when I went out for a smoke on the balcony.

I watched 2 dots of light moving across the sky in a manner which would seem simply impossible to be a man made aircraft or birds. Pretty similar to how you described it as well.

My brother was with me and witnessed it as well, the next day he asked a few locals what it could've been and they said it was birds.

The light being reflected from there stomachs apparently, but the way these lights moved it seemed completely impossible. If your still interested in this topic

Boomerang Shaped UFO With Lights Making Low Groan Over Puerto Vallarta Mexico

Hello, I'm currently in Puerto Vallarta Mexico and on November 30, 2014 approximately 1:18 a.m., I saw an object moving in the clear, night sky some 300 feet above the bay.

Boomerang shaped, the leading edge had lights,windows inside the edge of the V shape. I almost fell over my balcony thinking, this isn't right.

The boomerang was flying bow forward, not point into the wind. So slow it was, but not entirely silent. A low groan, I heard, felt. Again, so slow and gliding effortlessly.

It turned to sea and no lights were visible anymore. The whole thing was about 25 seconds.

UFOs Were Orange Transparent With Whirling Wings Over Cancun Mexico

Hi, not sure if this email is still active, but I just posted my sighting and read your sighting later. We just returned last night from a week stay in Cancun. We had an ocean front room,(facing the east) and left our balcony doors open each night to hear the surf.

Our first night in Cancun, we went to bed early, tired from our travel from Ohio. We awoke about 3:45 a.m. to see a beautiful crescent shape moon out our balcony, and a brilliant shining star called Altair above it.

We use our iPad Skyguide app. to see what constellations are around, satellites, etc. At first, I thought I was watching a shooting star. It appeared rapidly from the north (on our left) and shot by quickly, but suddenly stopped just below the constellation Scorpio, backtracked a little ways, then began zig-zagging all around until it finally sped off to the south.

Within moments another object, which had the same soft orange glow as the first, appeared from out of nowhere above us, stopped in mid-flight, changed course, and began to zig-zag before flying off.

I tried to video and photograph using my iPad, but they were so far they looked grainy on the screen, and were way too fast for me to follow.

Another orb appeared as the first two, and shot off in an erratic manner. We were stunned at what we'd seen and sat on the wall of our balcony searching for more, when suddenly two appeared, flying in tandem, much closer to us than the others, and much slower.

We could see these more clearly and they looked like they were orange, transparent orbs with whirling wings. They made no sound, and moved steadily along, then zipped off down the coast.

They reminded me of two big dragonflies, sort of, but in a mechanical way. It was as if the first 3 were testing us, knowing we were watching, and then the last two came closer to show off a little.

My boyfriend is a USAF veteran, and he said what we saw were definitely UFOs. They were not planes, satellites, drones, helicopters, searchlights, balloons or anything else.

We were so excited and so amazed by what we've seen. We have told all the people who were on the trip with us, but no one else was up at that time so they missed it. It has made us both even more sure we are not alone in this vast universe!

Large Glowing Orange Ball Of Light Over Buena Vista Baja California Sur Mexico

Date:  February 14, 2013
Time:  8:30 p.m.

14 February 2013 at 8:40 p.m. local Mtn Time.

Observed overhead, SE sky a single glowing orange object about 1/4 size of full moon. Initially thought it was a plane, common here, but not flashing and unusual hue.

Seemed to be fiery with slight variation in the orange hues. Moved slowly to the North for 10 seconds, about 15+ moon diameters. Or width of 5 fingers at arm's length.

Then slowly made a 90 degree turn to the East. Travelled 5 seconds, about 4 fingers, slowly dimming and diminishing in size. Suddenly disappeared and not seen again.

Unfortunately, I did not have my camera with video with me. I have never seen anything like this before. I did an Internet search and found similar observations at this website.

Additional Information:

I believe I have solved my orange glow mystery.

Enclosed 2 pictures, found this a.mm washed up on the beach, of a plastic very thin walled bag with wire ring at the base with central wire support likely to hold a fiery container, not present.

Some smoke/soot on interior bag.

Works like a hot air balloon.

Seems somewhat dangerous to light one of these and send it aloft?

Likely are purchased commercially due to its construction and would seem to explain the single and multiple objects and slow movement.

An Internet search may find the commercial source?

Three Fireballs Spotted In The Sky Coming From Cabo San Lucas Mexico

We saw the exact same fireballs at approximately 8:00 p.m. tonight. We saw three balls, in succession, flaring for about 20-30 seconds, then burning out but faintly continuing overhead, as they moved towards San Jose del Cabo. 

After observing the second one, we agreed that it seemed that they were coming from the direction of Cabo San Lucas (we are on km 7 of the Transpeninsular Highway).  

Did you ever find out what these fireballs are, or where they originated?

Large Bright Orange Object Hovered In The Sky Over Cabo San Lucas Mexico

Time:  Approx: 7:30 p.m.

Hi, we were in Cabo, just arrived at our resort in the afternoon and were down by the fire pit. I saw a large intense orange ball in the sky.

It came over into view over the hill in Cabo, very bright and strong orange color. 
I asked my husband to look at it we watched it move,  hover for approximately 3-4 minutes. Then it just blinked out. We both were discussing what it was.

Two older ladies also saw it for a minuet. The date was December 8. 2012. It was around 7:30 p.m. It was a clear sky no clouds, lots of stars.

The way it hovered in one place then blinked out bothered us, we knew it wasn’t a helicopter or plane from the color and size.

We are two professionally employed people in our early 50,s. Our resort was 15 minutes outside of Cabo San Lucas heading towards San Jose del Cabo.

We were looking towards Cabo as we can see the arch from our room and swimming pool area.

We still are baffled, and tonight I punched in on Google. Strange orange light over Cabo Mexico and it immediately popped up your comments and email. So here it is.

Bright Orange Object/Light Seen Over Cabo San Lucas Mexico

Time:  Evening.

I observed the same orange light, looking like a star or planet. I was at a seaside restaurant in Cabo San Lucas last night and an orange light, which had the initial intensity of a star such a Venus suddenly appeared at about 45 degrees up from the horizon in the northern sky. 

It did not move, but its intensity increased and then decreased. This lasted for about 3 minutes or so.

Then, about 15 minutes later, the same phenomenon occurred. Same area of the sky, no movement just a ramping up and down of its intensity. 

It was orange, and stood out against the star scape in the NE sky over the Sea of Cortez.

Hi, I was driving my son to school today in the am, I reside in Chapala, Mexico and am not a real believer in UFO's. But at a glance at daybreak while I was driving east west a huge almost like shooting purplish star headed down towards us.

It then paused for maybe two milliseconds and then shot back up with an almost purple and yellowish light.

Red Lights Spotted In The Sky Over Cabo San Lucas Mexico

My brother and I were in Cabo October 8/2011 and saw 4, 6, then 8 red objects appear around 11:00 p.m.  They first hovered, then started moving west in a triangular fashion.   

We had just arrived to "red" nightclub, stone sober, and saw this outside. 

There were about 40 people on the deck trying to record and take pictures, but the lights wouldn't end up on our cameras!

Huge Semi Transparent V Shaped UFO Over Saltillo Coahuila Mexico

Time:  7:30 p.m.

 

Yesterday at night (7:30 p.m.) I was finishing my walk exercise at one park near of my house and something made me look to the sky. I saw a V shape object semi transparent flying at low attitude (20 mts), the size was more or less 4 mts size and I was surprised that it could fly without noise in a perfect line slow.

 

It seems like the Predator in the movie, semi transparent with a gray scale color, it was appearing and disappearing and you can see the stars throw the body of it.

 

I continue following it for almost 1 minute and when it entered in a more illuminated area, I lost it.

It happened in Saltillo, Coahuila Mexico the 17/Feb/2009 at 7:30 p.m.

 

I never hear about V or Boomerang Shape transparent UFOs until now. Sorry if my English is not good, I speak Spanish.

Lights Darting Around The Night Sky Over Great Parnissus Resort Cancun Mexico

Time:  Approx: 9:30 p.m.

 

I just read the post about the strange lights in the sky in Cancun and felt compelled to offer my own story. My family and I arrived in Cancun at the Great Parnissus resort in the hotel zone on 04.04.09. At approximately 9:30 p.m., after the kids (and, sadly, my wife) had already fallen asleep.

 

I was star gazing and taking in the beauty of the surf when what I thought was a star flew with a curved trajectory, apparently stopping in mid air, and took back off in the direction from which it came, and disappeared.

 

Immediately another one followed behind and virtually copied the course of the first object. Needless to say, my eyes were glued to the sky for the remainder of the night, but there were no more recurrences, at least none that I could see.

 

The following day at breakfast I discussed my sightings with my family, who all believed me as I've always been an avid star gazer, lover of all things aviation, and believer in UFO's. That night, luckily before the rest of the family gave in to sleep, the lights returned.

 

This night, however, there were many, many more of the lights in the sky. They seemed to be playing with each other, darting this way any that, many times coming to a virtual stop in the sky, and then zooming off in other directions at what appeared to be incredible speeds.

 

This continued for probably 20-30 minutes before they disappeared one-by-one. We stayed at the resort for a full week, but unfortunately this was the last I saw of the lights. My guess as to what they were? My gut tells me they were ultra top secret military aircraft, but I certainly can't rule out that the sightings were of an extra-terrestrial nature.

 

Regardless of what they actually were, they certainly were unusual and bizarre, to say the least.

Red Lights Seen From Puerto Escondido Mexico

I am a Canadian visiting in Puerto Escondido (South Pacific coast of Mexico) and saw the red lights last night just after midnight too. Very odd. Looked like a bunch of satellites that were burning up, yet traveling together.

Amber Lights And Red Object Shoots Skyward Over Cabo San Lucas Mexico

Hi, my friend and I went to Cabo San Lucas last week and we saw the exact same thing you did. We stayed at the Marina Fiesta Resort where we met some people who were staying there who were from a different part of Mexico. 

 

We were hanging out at there room, when one of them on the balcony told us to come outside.  They said they saw a bunch of UFO’s.  When I came out I saw one red light shoot up from very low, in a curved pattern where it stopped for a bit then disappeared, there was one of us who saw this.

12 Or 14 Amber Colored Lights Over Cabo San Lucas Mexico

Time: Around 8:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Hi, My friend and I were on vacation this past weekend. We were on a Cabo San Lucas sunset cruise on Saturday, October 8, 2011. Just when we were exiting the boat about 8:30-9:00pm, I was looking towards the Pacific over the mountain from the pier and saw 8 amber colored lights come up from behind the mountain and hover a bit.

Then one by one they flew up and disappeared. As they disappeared, I saw another and then another come from behind the mountain and do the same. All in all there were total of about 12 or 14.

There was another passenger watching with me and he was able to get some photos. Even the workers on the boat were grabbing their cameras. That's how I knew it was not a common sighting. We were there for the Sammy Hagar birthday bash and we figured they were after him! Very cool experience though.

Amber Colored UFOs Seen Over Cabo San Lucas Mexico

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Recently there have been numerous sightings in the area where I am living. I live on a cliff overlooking the Sea of Cortez and a beautiful little cove beach. There were two sightings in September, one on September 2 and then again on September 18. These sightings were viewed by people in the housing community next to where I live I will tell you about those later.

Last night my husband and I both saw what we feel were UFO's. We were walking along the walkway returning from dinner at a friend's house to our condo. My husband suddenly said he left his cell phone in the car and returned to the car to get his phone. At this point, I was walking alone and looked in the sky and saw an amber colored light traveling along the Sea of Cortez (East to West).

It was very bright and looked like a burning light (orange/red). It traveled up and to the west and then just seemed to disappear. (I don't know if it disappeared behind a cloud or just vanished.)

There aren't many clouds here. I entered my condo and minutes later my husband came in. I said to him "did you see the UFO?" He said "no" and then proceeded to make fun of me saying "Yeah, right, you saw a UFO.

You seem pretty calm for having just seen a UFO." I said "well, I've been expecting to see one." He then went out on the deck and screamed "Oh My God - - Get the camera!" There was another bright light traveling the same way. It seemed like every minute another one would go by until four went by our deck.

My husband is a pilot and he said the lights looked nothing like anything he has ever seen. (That's five in all counting the one I saw while walking to our condo.

They traveled faster than an airplane. My husband stayed out on the deck and fifteen minutes later another one came by, only this one seemed to go straight out over the Sea of Cortez (south) and in a different direction from all the others.

As for the other sightings, there is a man who teaches Tai Chi on our little beach here. He is a very honest, spiritual man. He was up one morning at about 4:00 a.m. or 4:30 a.m on or about September 2, when he saw a strange looking, amber colored light in the sky. It hovered over the housing community where he was staying.

He said he could hear a buzzing sound from it. He drew a picture in the sand of what he saw. It was a UFO with amber colored lights around the bottom. He said that the lights changed color, multi colored and then went over the hill to the beach. When it went down to the beach he said it morphed in size and color.

Originally it was about the size of a Volkswagen and then changed to the size of a trailer and the color was bluish white. He said he saw it leaving just before sunrise and then "poof", it just disappeared. He said he felt a lot of love coming from the craft.

Then on or about September 18, two night time security guards at the housing community next to us saw a craft hovering over their community. They described it as a UFO with amber colored lights. They watched as it went down towards the beach and changed color and they say that it disappeared into the sea.

They tried to take a photograph, but the photo only showed something that looked like interference on a television screen. They were frightened by the experience.

UFOs Make Exaggerated Movements Over Cancun Mexico

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were sitting in a hot tub and I happened to look up and thought I saw a satellite transiting the sky, so I wanted to point it out to my friends and when we looked up I saw things happen that I've never seen before. The one object that was moving at high speed had a second object approaching it from the other direction and when the got near each other they came to a dead stop in the direction they were traveling and started doing the most exaggerated moving sequence I've ever seen in the night sky.

Then a third star like object approached from a different direction and it was making 90 degree turns at high rates of speed unlike anything I could compare it too. The three objects almost appeared to be engaging each other in their movements. I was really amazed at how fast these objects moved across the! sky and then just switched direction on a dime. I could only observe the activity for around 30 seconds or so before the objects disappeared behind a cloud and I never saw any activity the rest of the night. the thing that shocked me was that the people that were with me witnessed the same thing I did.

They would describe the movements as I have. The only difference was they could all have cared less. This lead me to believe that most people when they see UFOs in the night sky just shrug their shoulders and say "so what".

Man this experience has changed my opinion of UFOs completely. I always thought that people just have over active imaginations. When I did a little research latter online of other UFO reports from Cancun. Other people had reported the same type of sightings I had saw. This made me want to report my story too so that it adds to the collection of sightings in Cancun and all over the world.
