Lights Making Unusual Maneuvers Over Leicester East Midlands England UK

Time:  Evening.

I saw 6 objects in the sky tonight over Leicester, UK. At first I thought it was a helicopter carrying a big container.

Then the two objects split, the small (just a bright light) vanished and then I observed the larger of the two, which was a large square object with lights on each point suddenly stop and hover until it moved at a 90 degree angle side ways.

I have never in my life seen a helicopter or a plane do something like that and then it just disappeared!

About two minutes down the road after just telling myself it must have been someone messing about (as I'm rather skeptical on these things and try to find a logical answer) I then witnessed 4 more of the smaller objects just hovering and not moving!

Without a doubt I am freaked out.

Bizarre Lights Seen In The Sky Over Oadby Leicestershire England UK

Hi Brian, I read a blog post just now that talked about an experience that happened over Leicester earlier tonight. I too saw the strange lights and objects in the sky.

It was about 8:45 p.m. when I was driving near Oadby when I saw what looked like the under light of a helicopter which was carrying what looked like (underneath it) a huge container or object of a square nature with lights on all four corners. I continued to drive just observing it when the two objects detached from each other.

The smaller of the two went off to the right and then disappeared whilst the larger moved over Asda (in Oadby) and abruptly stopped, at this point all my skepticism had been abolished and my stomach dropped, it then suddenly moved at a sharp right angle.

I have never seen a plane or a helicopter do this in my life. I am fair certain that planes cannot just move like that and helicopters have to swing forward slightly to go sideways.

This was as if it had stopped turned mid air and then moved again. It shortly vanished. A couple minutes up the road I then saw another square looking object followed by 3 more smaller with a single bright light, they were all hovering.

No movement what so ever, now I did think these could be stars but no, they were way too close to the road to be stars.

I was a serious skeptic about UFO’s, but tonight blew me away.

Fiery Red Objects Make Sensational Maneuvers Over Constantia South Africa

Hi there, just witnessed this exact same explanation from the website, one has arrived unbelievably close to Kendal Road in Cape Town Constantia and 4 others appearing from behind Table Mountain, then moving rather quick east, stopping and shooting back up. 

Fiery red, but the one near my house was exceptional. I was told to report this to your email, any explanation?  26th December 2012, 10:00 p.m.

Two Balls Of Light/UFOs Make Unbelievable Maneuvers In The Sky Near Garroby Hill East Yorkshire England UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was travelling to Selby North Yorkshire, England, from Kirby Underdale which is situated at the top of Garrowby Hill, East Yorkshire, England.

I turned onto the A166, a road that spans from York to Bridlington. I was heading towards York at this point.

Upon my turning right onto this road, I instantly noticed two lights travelling, side by side at the same speed tracking parallel to my car, it was almost as if it was the reflection on the glass.

I realized that this was not the case after maybe 8 to 10 seconds of keen observation, the object's moved at a faster pace in the opposite direction (the right, back the way I came) about a centimeter in distance from my perspective.

The object of light to the left (I have shivers writing this) accelerated off to the left in the opposite direction to the way they had initially started moving, steady at first then bolting off at an incredible pace to the likes of which I had never seen.

The other light (the only way to describe it) "chased" after it at the same speed.

I was shocked to a state that I rang my mother who's house I had just left to explain what I had just seen.

Being in the Royal Navy, and having first hand knowledge of flight observation, the mechanics of flight and fast moving air contacts, limitations and air patterns, what they look like from a distance, in day and night.

I know that those "lights", moved as an actual air craft due to their displacement in time, speed and acceleration.

In my opinion, the pair of white bright lights at approximately 3 to 5 miles away in the sky that night where pushing, not only "the envelope," but unworldly speeds, that in my experience where well in the excess of mach 5, in a matter of seconds.

The two objects travelled across the sky until my vision was blocked by horizon tree line. It would of taken a fighter jet 10 seconds at least to get to that point. They where there in maybe 4 or 5.

I strung together an unsuccessful list of possible objects that move in this manor, there isn't any.

I was the only vehicle in the area, it wasn't until a mile down the road I passed a car heading the other way.

Orange Colored Lights Making Unusual Maneuvers Over Alberton South Africa

Time:  Approx: 10:51 p.m.

 

Hi Brian, we live in Alberton and at about 22H51 on Saturday night, my mom, son, wife and I where looking at some fireworks when we all saw 2 orange lights coming from a south direction towards us.

 

I thought it was a plane, then I seen the 2 lights were to far apart for it to be. They both turned towards the west and split up for a few seconds and then came together again, then shot up into the clouds.

 

After an hour or so we seen an orange light coming from the west and turning sharp to the south, over the next few hours we seen the same thing 4 times.

 

There was also no sound coming from the lights.

 

I would love to know if anyone else seen this as I do think it was a UFO. Kind regards.

UFO Maneuvers In The Sky Seen From Norwegian Cruise Ship

Time: 3:00 a.m.

Hi, I was on a Norwegian Cruise Ship, heading towards their “Private Island,” watching the morning sky when I noticed what I first thought was one star blinking much more than the others. Once it caught my attention, I kept watching it. There was quite a bit of fog on the water, but two other ships were sailing behind and further east than ours.

They were close enough that I could see their lights, and far enough away that I could make out the horizon. The light in the sky was white at first, then red, green and back to white. It was at a high elevation, at an angle of approximately 45 degrees from my position.

The light was white when it dropped straight down at least 3 – 4 thousand feet, paused for a second or two then went horizontal across the sky about the same distance and paused another few seconds and disappeared. Seconds later it appeared back in the original position.

I believe that a laser pen I was pointing at it after seeing the color changes initiated the movement, but this is purely supposition.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was looking at the sky around 7:00pm at the Moon and Jupiter which is very bright in the night sky at present, when I noticed two strange lights moving rapidly across the sky appearing and disappearing out of existence.

They would sometimes disappear and then suddenly reappear in another area of the sky, it was amazing. The thing that really convinced me though was when they moved towards each other very rapidly and suddenly stopped before what looked like a terrible collision. It was amazing to see. It is clear from this fact that they are not conventional aircraft, Chinese lanterns, stars, planets etc.

Lights Making Some Strange Maneuvers Over Dunlop Ayrshire Scotland

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was walking my dog around 7:00pm, it was just getting dark and I passed a couple of other dog-walkers on my way to the Millenium Woodland Park in Dunlop, where I usually take my dog at least once a day. I ran up the "Brechna Braes" hill with my dog, and stopped at the stone seat for a rest and faced out west I believe where there is a huge outlook of the sky.

There was a very bright star, like Venus or something and I looked at it for a few seconds, then noticed suddenly a small round light appearing from around the star somewhere and heading downwards, it would appear and disappear momentarily at different areas, which I found very unusual as our aircraft doesn't do this kind of thing.

It moved to the left of my vision and I then noticed another of the same objects appearing above it and doing the same kind of moves, downward, left, disappear, reappear, upwards. There was no definite flight path, and they had no noise from them. A couple of times I heard a plane breaking the sound barrier and when the planes were fairly near, the objects would disappear.

Then I noted that they seemed to gradually get smaller until they disappeared at the same time, like they were heading out west towards the coast. I went down the hill with my dog, and into another field, but did not see anything unusual in the sky at that time. I then exited the field at Templehouse Woodland through the gate and walked down the path instead of going through the fields.

I looked at the sky to my right and saw one object which looked brighter and nearer, which was flying smoothly, unblinking, not flashing, with no noise, moving in the distance above the trees, in the same direction and at the same pace to which I was walking to give me a good view. It was quite fascinating, that view lasted a couple of minutes then it just vanished like a light going out, and I couldn't see anything anymore.

Orange UFOs Make Wild Maneuvers Over Upholland Wigan Lancashire UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was outside my home on a semi cloudy night when I witnessed 4 orange lights approaching in the sky, not very high, quite close, but obviously individual. The lights were sort of in a line, coming from the west, Southport direction. I assumed they were military helicopters flying in convoy, but as they approached, I waited for the associated noise from this kind of craft, but the night was silent.

As they got closer, the third light shot away at a right angle towards the south at immense speed, this was copied a couple of seconds later by the 2nd light, then the third, the 1st light continued in my direction for another 3 or 4 seconds before that too bolted away.

Once out of sight, a white light appeared in the distance and roughly in the direction the orange lights had disappeared to. The white light was stationary and grew in intensity and size for a second or two and then flew off at speed in an almost vertical path then disappeared again all of this happened without any sound, would really like to know if anyone else witnessed this.

Full Description of event/sighting: On the night of 7th of January I was standing in my back garden just admiring what a beautiful clear night. It was when 9 white glowing objects glided over my house. I stood there in utter shock and disbelief. I ran in and told my wife after seeing this. I stood in my garden again for about half an hour later when 2 big lights caught my eye. I called to my wife again and we watched them glide over the top of our house, one flew straight whilst the other changed direction again and again almost like it was having trouble. Then they both just shot off fast then faster until we could see them no more. I know what birds look like and I know what planes look like and this was something I witnessed ten years ago with a friend. It is half past 9:00 and still in shock from what I had already seen earlier. I glanced again at the sky only to witness either the same nine, but in a different formation. I have got to be honest, I did not look anymore that night. I had seen enough to know I could not explain it. The next day the UK was hit by the UFO hitting a wind turbine. I text my story to Sky News today, I got an email from Sky News telling me my report was passed on to the appropriate authorities and they gave me a reference for future use?

Full Description of event/sighting: My partner my 10 year old son myself and our next door neighbour were standing in our garden having a New Year drink when we noticed a bright orangey-red glowing light coming towards us about 60 feet above the ground. At first my partner thought it was possibly a helicopter but as it approached us we realized there was no sound or other lights coming from it. Suddenly it stopped just for a few seconds and changed direction heading closer directly above us it suddenly stopped dead and started to it looked like it was on fire breaking up like the remaining embers of a firework disintegrating then suddenly the red light shot out and over the houses roofs directly opposite us heading in a totally different direction.

Mortimer, Berkshire UK UFO Pulls Off Fancy Maneuvers

Full Description of event/sighting: I would like to report a UFO sighting that took place on the 6th of January 2009. It was around 10:00pm UK time in the evening when I went upstairs to my bedroom to look out the window to see what the weather was doing. It was a very clear night, the moon was shining very brightly and so were the stars.

However, as I was looking into the sky something caught my attention; my eyes were immediately drawn to a bright object behind the trees. At first, I wasn't really sure what I was looking at, to me it looked like a bright star, however, it was the brightest object in the sky with the exception of the moon.

That theory was quickly ruled out when it began pulling off incredibly fast movements behind the trees. It suddenly started moving from behind the tree in what I could best describe as fast short burst movements. It would suddenly move quickly and then just as suddenly stop dead in the sky. To give you an idea of the location, where I live we have a lot of trees surrounding our house, with two large trees at the front of our driveway. The object moved from behind one of the trees we have and settled in position between the two large trees.

What amazed me was its variety of movements, it was moving up and down left and right and even diagonally and at times all within one movement and very quickly. The object appeared as a strobing bright whitish light that wasn't really round, the way the light was in appearance suggested to me it was more of an oval shape object. But it appeared to be strobing very quickly, almost to a flicker kind of rate. I was absolutely mesmerized by this object; it was pretty amazing to observe what it was doing. This object didn't appear to be very close; to me it was a typical size of a star, but maybe just slightly bigger.

Another thing I would like to add to this sighting was the fact that while I was observing this object I was getting a kind of an emotional response to it. Wasn't sure if this would be of any help or if indeed it has any relevance but I thought I would mention it anyway. It was strange to me.

The actual sighting lasted for around 25 mins or more, I couldn't keep myself awake any longer and had to go to bed. I can't really say how long that object was in the sky, but it seemed to be lingering for quite a while.

However, this morning I had another surprise on my way to dropping my wife off to work. Our local radio station announced a UFO flap that's been taking place in the Reading area I live in and even stretching as far as Oxford as well. I thought I would mention this, as it might help you verify more on the report I am giving you today.

I really do not know what is was, but I do know what it wasn't; you can rule out blimps, flares, aeroplanes, and helicopters etc. What I saw was nothing related to conventional explanations and I am absolutely convinced it was very much out of the ordinary. I wished I had got it on camera, but unfortunately none of my equipment was charged up, so frustratingly I couldn't use anything to capture the object.

This isn't the first time I have witnessed a UFO, I have had previous experiences with them in the past also, but this has been the best one so far.

Morley, Western Australia UFOs Making Unusual Maneuvers

Yesterday I watched large white objects which appeared to be very high in the sky move around for around 45 minutes.

Their size was comparable to large stars in the night sky (during daylight however).

I was at the park with my wife and my son (3.5 year old boy) lying on my back, and looking up through the tree saw something in the sky through a gap in the branches. It stayed in the same spot for about 5 minutes, and I wandered out from under the tree to see what it was. My son saw it and said they were making a 'triangle', and sure enough there were 2 more up there (very high, very hard to focus on). Over the next 45 minutes we watched between 1 and 6 or so at a time, often in a perfectly straight line, moving around in different directions. My wife eventually managed to see what I was watching and was commenting on how big they were and how high.

They never changed size (so weren't rising or falling like a balloon), were too high to make out any detail (were not birds as they were perfectly stationary some of the time), and were really hard to spot and focus on, so I never actually saw them appear or disappear. Several times I looked around in the same place in the sky and managed to spot one, then gradually saw others around the same area.

Ostfold Moss Norway Object Makes Strange Maneuvers And Objects Merge

Full Description of event/sighting: Last night I was watching the night sky because it was so clear and you could see the moon and the star so crisp and clear, it was so beautiful. I use to just watch one part of the night sky and look on the stars, you can se some of them just hanging there and you just say nice, the thing here is do stars move and then come down and become brighter? One of them moved downwards and then it glowed, it was like it was coming closer and closer. Then it shifted and had goofy maneuvers back and forth. back and forth. Then it just passed along like it was floating in the atmosphere. Then there was another that moved to and they went towards each other and just melted - merged together and that was that.

I just say wow what a night, this is going to be remembered for many years I know that.

My wife was in the bathroom and when she came out and into the room, the only thing she said was 'what happened to you 'coz my face was white as snow and the only thing I was saying was oh my god, oh my god. The other thing is she got her ears full of it because she had not recharged the video camera. It's a shame when you need it the most its not charged, this is not going to happen again.

I will be watching the skies again tonight because I want to see it again and again.
