Red Lights Over Shiremoor Tyne And Wear UK

Time:  5:05 p.m.

 

Hi I am from Northeast England UK, and today the first of January 2009, 4 of us seen a large red object in the sky. On first glance thoughts where of a helicopter or plane. There was no noise from it, it was like a light bulb shape at the top, sometimes orangey red in colour.

 

It moved overhead in one direction and we thought nothing of it other than a lovely red light. Then it moved in the opposite direction and we became curious. Couldn't make head nor tail of it. After 3 minutes of first spotting it we then seen another red light similar, but looked nearer us.

 

Also same shape and colour. The sky was quite clear, small clouds further up, and they then progressed along the sky in all directions and then sort of went straight up until they looked out of sight behind far away clouds. Amazing sights. Me and my partner and 2 children seen this at 5:05 p.m. 1st January 2009 in Shiremoor, Tyne and Wear England!

I don't think these were lanterns as the movements were to erratic. We did look into every possibility, they were very luminous orangey red lights, moved very quick across the sky at one point.I have never seen anything like it before and it was exciting to view.

Two Strange Orange Lights Over Drumchapel Glasgow Scotland UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving home with my wife and we saw a strange orange light in the sky close to our home, we are on a flight path to Glasgow Airport and used to seeing air traffic on this route, but this did not conform to anything we have seen before in terms of commercial aircraft or helicopter.

When I arrived at my house (within a minute), I stood in the drive and gazed up into the clear sky to see the orange light had now changed direction, before stopping absolutely still for a minute or so, then another orange light then became visible moving towards this one, before both moved upwards, fizzled out and disappeared.

Many people must have seen this, but I can't find any press reports today.

Large Orange White Glowing Light Over Birmingham UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was in the garden and noticed an orange/white glow in the southern sky. I stared because it looked large and about the size of an orange from my perspective.

 

It was stationary for about 2 minutes then it started to move across the sky towards the north. It was quiet, no noise at all (not like a plane etc.) and moved at a steady speed across the sky.

 

It was orange in the middle with a white glow around the surface.

Blue White Light Seen Over Liverpool UK

 

Date:  May 9, 2011

Time:  2:45 a.m.

Hello Brian, my name is (name removed) and I live in the city centre of Liverpool, UK. Approximately 1 hour ago (2:45 a.m.) I saw a strange bluish white light above, what I believe, the river Mersey or the Wirral.

It moved horizontally and curved vertically at high speeds north to south above the river.

It was also angled diagonally in the air and sporadically grew very bright and dimmed until it completely disappeared for approximately 10 minutes.

I couldn't pick it up on my phone's video camera and I have never seen anything like it. I would love to hear from you if you hear anything else along this description.

Fast Moving Orange Light Over Luton UK

My husband and I have just seen a fast moving light, orange in colour. To me it looked as if it was twinkling. It was moving in a straight line, lower and faster than the planes we usually see.

Red Lights On Disk Shaped UFO Over Thessaloniki Greece

Shape of Objects: Disk, but couldn't make out the shape completely since it was dark.

 

Full Description of Event/Sighting: A red light glides by me high in the sky and almost disappears behind trees, and then moves forward in the opposite direction with additional white lights blinking on and off only on one side of it's base.

 

It disappears above my roof top. It made absolutely no noise! I was on my balcony at the time and I had not been drinking or under the influence of any other substance.

Lights Over Northcliff Johannesburg South Africa

I was in Northcliff and saw the same event, which I have no possible way of explaining, what is really making me question my sanity I am sitting here watching the eclipse from Lonehill and have just seen 2 similar lights.

 

Moving southwest from my position. One moved off very quickly and the other moved off at a steady pace. Again I cannot explain the event.

Bright Orange Light Over New Malden Greater London UK

 

Date:  June 27, 2011

Time:  Evening.

 

Good morning, last night I was sitting in my lounge looking through the conservatory window, (towards East Molesey/Hampton Court) and notice an orange light that was moving slowly.

I live in New Malden and we often see aircraft coming over, but the lights are white and very clear. This was orange. I thought it was a firework, but it went on for ages.

I called my wife and we went into the garden, by which time it has not only moved a considerable distance (I am guessing over Roehampton) but it was just seemed to be a ball of black smoke dropping down. Very odd, but what makes it even odder is your sighting was a year ago to the day!

I am sure there is a very reasonable explanation!

Two UFOs Using Cloud Cover To Hide Over Tottenham London UK

Time:  Evening

 

I am at present in Tottenham London at my brothers house. I saw something strange in the sky that I couldn't recognize. There were two craft moving equidistant and from west to east using low cloud cover, slipping in and out of visibility. there was also a (usual) plane flying much higher, that I could compare them with.

 

Also there was a ball of light that zoomed across the sky to and fro. I was outside with my dogs, they were very unsettled and uneasy.

 

One of the craft seemed to have a spinning outer circle and lights, the other no lights visible.

 

I mentioned it at the time to friends and relatives as it was weird. Today I go on yahoo to find out about the sightings over the BBC (they think faked) there was also a man in Edmonton called Dino (about 4 miles away) that also saw something odd.

 

I am 56 years old and not given to hoaxing, I hope you find this interesting.

Over 25 Lights Seen From Glasgow Scotland UK

Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.

Saturday 23rd July at about 11:00pm I saw what I thought was a bright helicopter flying over the south side of Glasgow. This was then followed by about another 25 or more at 1 minute intervals. I even got my husband out of the shower to come and tell me that I was not hallucinating, nor had I been drinking.

I realized they were not helicopters as they just seemed to fizzle out after a few minutes, or else they disappeared from my view. The only explanation I could think of was that they may have been some sort of large Chinese lanterns with lights inside.

I wondered if anyone else had seen these. They were coming south from the direction of the River Clyde and passed over what I would reckon to be Waterfoot distance from Giffnock heading South. It was a very clear night and I watched them from my balcony. Any explanation would be wonderful.

Bright Orange Light Over Southcraigs Kilmarnock UK

Hi there, on Sunday 1st May 2011 I was outside and saw this bright orange light in the sky. It moved fast and silent in a straight line and by time I got my camera which was on mobile, it had gone. Dark Triangular UFO Witnessed Over Rochester Kent UK

Date: April 2010 ?

Time: Evening.

Hi, my name is (name removed), 37, and I live in Rochester Kent. Around the same time last year I was standing outside our back door to our conservatory and as usual I look up at the stars. I first thought I saw a low plane, but at second look there was a dark triangle shaped aircraft running at a slow steady pace heading towards the direction of Walderslade.

There were no sound coming from the craft as if it was like a hand glider and each corner had a bright red light (non flashing, like a normal aircraft would have white and red flashing lights). I called my step son out and we both witnessed it over our heads and in to the distance. My first thoughts was that it was a low satellite, but surely it was to much of an odd shape for one of those, so second thought it was a military aircraft.

I have looked all over the net, but found no such military craft, but a lot of similar sightings to ours and all come back with the same answer, unidentified flying object. Please let me know if you have any more info on this as I am baffled. Thanks.

Bright White Glowing Object Over Forest Of Dean UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My neighbour and I were putting out the rubbish, when we saw what looked like a bright star moving across the sky at about the height of an airplane. It was glowing bright white and traveling north to south. It stayed the same colour from both directions and was silent.

I also saw it a couple of days before, but dimmer and my partner saw something similar the other day as well, but deadly silent and glowing bright white in a clear sky. It was brighter than the north star and moving at a speed slightly faster than an airplane. My 2 year old loves airplanes and she saw the one my partner saw and said look mommy, stars for me. Even she knew it was not a plane.

Two Orange Lights Over Bray Ireland

Hi Brian, I was in Bray at around 10:00pm tonight, waiting for my bus and saw two orange lights in the sky which didn't seem like aircraft at all. They were both moving slowly, one disappeared before the other one. I observed this phenomenon for about 2 minutes I think. Reddish Orange Fireball Over Peterborough And Huntingdon UK

Date: April 16th to the 30th 2011

Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.

My wife and I have seen 2 cases like this over the past 2 weeks. The first over our house in Peterborough, I went out around 10:00pm to put the rubbish out and right in front of me just above the rising moon was a reddish-orange fireball. I say fireball because the light looked more like a flame than a light. Bigger than the lights from an aircraft and one constant mass, no flashing.

I called my wife who happened to be close by and she came out and watched it with me as it moved towards us and overhead. I grabbed our binoculars and gave them to her while I went to get the camera. She tracked it in the binoculars and saw a black oval mass with flame towards the rear. As it went overhead the flame subsided and she could still see the black mass, to large to be a meteor. I tried to catch it with the video camera, but couldn't get it in frame and we lost it.

The 2nd last night from our hotel room in Huntingdon. I looked out of the window around 10:00pm and saw a similar object approach from the right. It crossed at a speed a little quicker than a helicopter. It was bright orange, more light than flame this time. Again I called my wife and we both watched in awe as it sped past. No blinking or flashing just bright orange. It seemed to intensify as it is passed and then we lost it to the left.

Somebody else must have seen these things. They were very clear, low on the horizon and quite large.

3 Orange Lights Over Walsall UK

Hello Brian, my name is (removed). I just seen your blog on UFO sightings over Walsall. I was in Walsall last night at a friends house. I smoke, but I don't smoke in the house. I went outside for a cigarette and saw 3 orange lights as you described. It was very strange and I couldn’t help, but stare. They were not planes as there was not flashing and to fast and in formation.

I was so intrigued. At first I thought it could be a meteor shower? I was transfixed. after a few minutes the same 3 orange lights came across the sky. They went quite quick and I never saw them after that. I can’t explain, but very excited about what I saw. I would love to know if this was real UFO activity. Hope your ok.

Strange Lights Spotted Over Qualicum Beach

While many eyes were turned towards the heavens last week to watch the annual Perseid meteor shower, at least two sets of those eyes in Qualicum Beach saw more than they bargained for.

Brian Vike, a Houston, B.C. resident who heads up Sightings.com, a UFO network, said he received a report of something even more unusual than meteors on Aug. 14.

The time was 10 p.m. as the two residents, whose names Vike would not release, said they were watching the meteor shower when they saw two strange lights in the eastern sky.

Orange Lights Over Guildford Surrey UK

Time: Approx: 1:00 a.m.

Hi, we saw the same orange lights a few hours after you had seen them, but down in Guildford about 1:00am on 24th Jan 2010. There were 7 orange lights in a formation, i managed to take a picture after my housemate ran down with the camera, but before this each one moved towards me and disappeared, only one was left when I took the photos.
