Two Red Objects Flying Over Newcastle Upon Tyne Northeast Of England UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was on the phone in our garden because we can't get signal inside, when I saw these two red flying objects next too each other flying across the sky, they were visible for about five minuets.

They were too low to be satellites.

After researching I have discovered that only 2 hours ago they were sighted in Canada, how could they have got over the UK already? (again, too low to be satellites).

Orange Yellow Object With Tail Over Fenham West End Of Newcastle Upon Tyne England UK

Hello, I've seen the same object at around 9:30 p.m. (3 March 2012) travelling south over Fenham. Passed right above our heads.

Later on I also seen a blue similar light close to the horizon. Weird.

Massive Bright Object With Huge Orange Tail Seen Over South Shields Tyne And Wear UK

Saw the same thing in South Shields, Tyne and Wear, about quarter to 10:00 p.m. this evening. Flying from north to south, huge orange tail with massively bright body.

Orange Green Object Spotted Over Blaydon Gateshead Newcastle Upon Tyne UK

Hi, I seen the same thing tonight (this shooting star orange green thing) I am in Blaydon, Gateshead, Newcastle Upon Tyne and I seen it at 9:15 p.m.

 

I was driving home at the time and nearly crashed my car because it gave me a shock.

Red Lights Over Shiremoor Tyne And Wear UK

Time:  5:05 p.m.

 

Hi I am from Northeast England UK, and today the first of January 2009, 4 of us seen a large red object in the sky. On first glance thoughts where of a helicopter or plane. There was no noise from it, it was like a light bulb shape at the top, sometimes orangey red in colour.

 

It moved overhead in one direction and we thought nothing of it other than a lovely red light. Then it moved in the opposite direction and we became curious. Couldn't make head nor tail of it. After 3 minutes of first spotting it we then seen another red light similar, but looked nearer us.

 

Also same shape and colour. The sky was quite clear, small clouds further up, and they then progressed along the sky in all directions and then sort of went straight up until they looked out of sight behind far away clouds. Amazing sights. Me and my partner and 2 children seen this at 5:05 p.m. 1st January 2009 in Shiremoor, Tyne and Wear England!

I don't think these were lanterns as the movements were to erratic. We did look into every possibility, they were very luminous orangey red lights, moved very quick across the sky at one point.I have never seen anything like it before and it was exciting to view.

Four Orange Elliptical Objects Over Chopwell Tyne And Wear UK

 

Date:  Around 1997 or 1998

Time:  Evening.

 

This might have been the exact same thing that I and my older brother seen on one clear night. It happened around 1997 or 1998. We were in the back yard and we both had our telescopes out and I saw four orange-elliptical objects individually moving in the same direction with absolutely no sound.

I grabbed my brothers arm and pointed up, and he also seen them. They were not bright, but a dull colour, but clearly visible. They moved behind next doors house and they totally vanished.

 

We were pretty shook up that night and that’s my only time I've seen something weird. This happened in Chopwell, Tyne and Wear, UK.

Many Orange Lights Over Gateshead Tyne And Wear UK (Lanterns)

Hi, I’ve just been looking on the internet to see if anyone else saw the orange lights I saw on New Years eve, just gone, and found your site. I was at my mum’s house having a ciggie at the back door and watched at least five orange lights fly overhead. My mum lives in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. So they were visible in the Northeast of England too.

I eventually pointed one out to my mum, having gone back inside I didn’t tell anyone as they may think I was just exaggerating, but having seen in the New Year, going back outside to my dad’s car to be taken home, the lights were still going overhead, so there must have been a steady stream of them whilst I was otherwise occupied.

Being driven home they were still coming towards the same direction, making a total of 6 that I did see. I tried taking a photo on my phone, but all I got was the black sky. They were following one another at a steady speed, at the same height, going in the same direction. As some people have suggested Chinese lanterns, I don’t think lanterns would stay at the same height at the same time or all travel in the same direction. They were pretty bright lights too. Dunston Gateshead Tyne And Wear UK Two Glowing Orange Objects

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was walking to my local cooperative store down Whickham Avenue looking due north when to my right I saw a glowing orange object travelling at no great speed through the sky northwards. I proceeded to the front of the store and saw that there were 2 objects, 1 following the other. I watched them moving along and then they faded out, but I don't think they would have been out of view if the orange glow had been still there. Apparently later that night our local radio station, Metro radio had some callers who had seen them.

Killingworth, Newcastle Upon Tyne Orange Balls Of Light (Video)

Description: My son saw these, but he says that they were going very fast and one shot off by itself leaving three, see video.

Hello John I have attached the video clip my son took on his mobile, he said that there was a couple (man and woman) who also saw the lights, but he doesn't know who they are so they wouldn't be able to confirm the sightings. I have searched on the web and there appears to be quite a few sightings of something similar over the past couple of months, and another sighting in Killingworth on the same or following evening (I cant find the url now!)

They certainly don't look like your Chinese lanterns (or whatever they are!), its a bit scary to be honest! I'd be interested in your thoughts after seeing the video. Regards.

Shiremoor Tyne And Wear, UK Red Lights Make Unusual Turns

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi, I am from north east England and today the first of January 2009, 4 of us seen a large red object in the sky. No noise,or beacon lights, no plane wings, with the closest object we did manage to catch a glimpse of a halo light at the top. Also same shape and colours as the other one.

The sky was quite clear, small clouds further up, and the objects then progressed along the sky slow then fast in various directions and then sort of went straight up until they looked out of sight behind far away clouds! Amazing sights. Me and my partner and 2 children seen this at 5.05pm 1st Jan 2009 in Shiremoor, Tyne and wear.England! We did manage to take a small video recording on a mobile phone.

Description: We noticed a perfectly round orange light traveling north to south down the north east coast of England, its movement was steady and not high speed. It then started gaining altitude and appeared to be flying directly away from us at high speed. It became smaller and smaller then disappeared out of sight.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was in the car and saw a streak of light, similar to a shooting star at nighttime, but much, much brighter. It flew across the sky and it was the streak of light that caught my eye. Then I saw a long sausage shape approximate 60 feet long, lined with long windows, metallic grey and shiny, almost could see through it. It took seconds to shoot right across the sky, unfortunately the trees blocked my vision and it was gone. It definitely was no mistake, no fireworks or shooting stars. For me I've never seen anything like it and I streaked out to my husband who was driving, but he was unable to see it as it was blocked by the trees.

Description: I was lying in bed looking out of my window as I could not sleep. Suddenly saw an oval light quite close that was flickering, yet very bright. It was moving eastwards, then it changed direction and moved south. I watched it as it disappeared in to the distance. Moved at a constant speed.
