Bright White Glowing Object Over Woodhall Spa Lincolnshire England UK

Date: March 18, 2011
Time: 9:30 p.m.

The date of this spotting is Friday 18th March 2011, 9:30pm

The area I saw this UFO is in Woodhall Spa Lincolnshire England. There were 5 people with myself and we saw one white glowing object in the sky. It was a clear sky with few clouds and we saw and white object move quite rapidly through the sky, and as it got closer to the Moon, it suddenly disappeared.

The object was oval and bright white.

I think it is linked to the sighting in July 18th 2009, because we also saw it at 9:30pm and it was the same day of the month as well.

Clear Red Orange Lights Over Lincoln Lincolnshire UK

Date: December 31st 2010 and January 1st 2011
Time: 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.

Lincoln, Lincolnshire UK, December 31st 2010 and January 1st 2011. Same sightings! First was around 11:00pm and then again around 1:00a.m. There were two clear red/orange lights, quite low down, but not low enough to make out any detail. I doubt they were helicopters because they made no noise. Nor were they planes as the movement, shape, distance and colour suggested otherwise.

I managed to look at one of them through binoculars when I got home, but again couldn’t make out detail except for a small, cone-shaped orange glow. They changed direction and speed, though they never moved fast. They might have been hot-air balloons, but the light was steady, not the kind of flickering effect you see in flames. As I watched, they slipped away into the south-east. To quote Spock – fascinating.

Location of Sighting: Chapel St. Leonards (Near Skegness)
Number of witnesses: 3
Number of Objects: 3
Shape of Objects: Balls of fire.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I had saw what looked to be like a ball of fire bigger than a football, but no way near big enough for a hot air balloon, plus it did not have any sound coming from it at all. However I got home and called out my girlfriend to have a look. She came out, but only just saw it fade off into the sky. We went in and about 5 minutes after we saw two of those objects going north of our house into the sky.

Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England Three Orange Yellow Lights

Posted: March 21, 2009

Date: February 10 2009
Time: 9.35 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 3
Shape of objects: Round.
Weather Conditions: Clear.

Description: 3 orange/yellow lights in the sky, evenly spaced apart quite some distance. They were low down in the sky to the south. The 1 on the left was slightly higher than the middle light, and the middle one slightly higher then the 1 on the right. The light on the right vanished, then the other 2 seemed to fade in and out, becoming very bright at times. They appeared not to be moving at all. We could see planes and lots of stars at the same time, however the orange/yellow lights were in the distance and much lower than the stars and planes. We watched the lights for about 10 minutes until the remaining 2 just vanished.

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:

Hi John,

Thank you for the quick response. I have had a look at pictures/footage of the balloons/lanterns and cannot rule this out as possibly being what we saw, if I could ask though, we think the 'lights' were about 10 - 15 miles away, would the balloons be visible at such a distance?

Bourne, Lincolnshire, England 5 Separate Orange Burning Shapes

Posted: January 11, 2009

Date: January 1, 2009
Time: Approx: 5:00 a.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 5 to start with.
Shape of objects: Roundish.
Weather Conditions: Clear and icy.

Description: Was watching New Year fireworks from bedroom window, and looking out I thought I saw where a firework had landed in a tree. There appeared to be 5 separate orange burning shapes. One by one, over a minute or so they faded away to nothing. I thought nothing of it that night apart from how silly people are for letting fireworks off so close to trees! However, the next day looking out of my window to where i saw the lights, there actually isn't a tree, and the trees close by aren't high enough for it to have been them. Very strange, did anyone else see anything similar?

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:

Hi,

Thanks for your email. Just watched the video, and although the colour and shape look very similar, the ones I saw were not moving (which I why I presumed it was bits of fireworks burning themselves out in a tree (and there isn't a tree anyway!)) So, I don't know!

Belton, North Lincolnshire, England A Round Orange Ball

Posted: January 10, 2009

Date: December 31, 2008
Time: 9:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: A round orange ball
Weather Conditions: n/a

Description: It appeared in the sky coming towards the house. I initially thought it was a light aircraft on fire, as a flight path for Robin Hood airport goes over the house. I thought it was going to go out of sight over the house but it moved sharp left onto Westgate Road and stopped above the public house. The colour then started to fade into a faint red. I opened the window but could hear no sound whatsoever. It hovered there for approx 2xminutes before slowly moving back towards the M180 motorway.

-----

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:

Hi John, I have looked at the site, and no, what I saw looked nothing like it. As I said it was an orange ball and my immediate thought was something was on fire. When it was hovering over the Wheatsheaf Public House which I can see clearly from where I live, it changed in colour to a faint purply red for a good 2/3 minutes before moving off. Living under a flightpath, I know it wasn't an aircraft or an helicopter as these fly daily to Santoft airfield half a mile away. What was also strange was it just seemed to "appear." I can only say that I was amazed at what I saw that night and will never forget it. Kind Regards.

Bourne, Lincolnshire UK White Light

Posted: September 22, 2008

Date: August 14, 2008
Time: 9:50 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: White light.
Weather Conditions: Mid level broken cloud.

Description: Bright white light in the sky approximately 4 miles North of Morton, Lincs. Altitude approximately FL100. Speed when moving, approx 170 kts. Light was too large & intense to be the landing or navigation beacons aboard a commercial or military airliner (I work with Boeing & Airbus aircraft daily) and there was no Mode S data from the local area to indicate the presence of commercial aviation at the time.

Moved slowly to East over the course of 2 minutes, appeared to descend, then the light dimmed, moved further East (approx over the West edge of Dyke, Lincs at same 4 mile distance), flashed bright once again & then vanished.

Cars on Dyke road from A15 stopped & turned back to witness this (can see the road from my location) & police were in attendance within 5 minutes. The light disappeared at approximately 2157.

Shortly after, military air activity (too low for commercial aviation in this area) was witnessed from the North East heading towards the previous location of the unidentified object.

TV/Radio: None known.

Bourne, Lincolnshire UK Object With Changing Colors

Posted: August 23, 2008

Date: August 2, 2008
Time: 11:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Hard to tell at night with no visual references
Weather Conditions: Clear with scattered clouds,

Description: Sitting out in the garden enjoying a Brandy and a cigar, I noticed an object to the south of my position. It was moving slowly and visible lights that kept changing colour (It wasn't Aircraft lights as I'm a commercial pilot with 9 years experience) The approx height of the object was between 2-3000ft, but again with no visual references it is difficult to estimate. It's movement was erratic changing course directions every 20-30 seconds or so. After about 5-6 minutes the object at speed headed in to a south westerly direction.

TV/Radio: Nothing reported on TV/Radio and no mentions on the local town forum either.
