Breaking UFO Incident on Highway 16 between Houston, B.C. and Burns Lake, B.C. Houston, British Columbia UFO Incident (Eyewitness Interview - Audio)

Well lots of things have been happening, first of all I have not been able to do the write up over the major UFO event that took place here between Burns Lake and Houston, British Columbia. I have not been well enough to get the report written up.
Also a reporter by the name of Quinn from the Interior News was here yesterday, Sunday August 10, 2008 to do an interview on UFOs and this UFO event that took place on August 3, 2008. The nice part to this is the eyewitness for the UFO incident also came down to the home and related what he and his friend witnessed to the reporter and has given the news reporter permission to run his full name in the newspaper article which should be out not this week but the next. Also pictures of the eyewitness were taken for the article as well. Just so you understand, this was a close encounter with a UFO not once, but twice on Highway 16 between Houston and Burns Lake in a very short time period on the same night. I guess one might say the craft had the two eyewitnesses stopped on the highway twice. It hovered right in front of them at two different times almost preventing the driver to continue along there way.
Also, lots of reports to get added, so I will be getting at some of these hopefully later today if I can sit here long enough to get at some of what has come in. I should also note that I received some very interesting photos of a unknown craft as well. So lots to get done.

Bellevue Hill, Sydney New South Wales, Australia Two Disc UFOs Date: November 1996

Description: I was standing at the top of Coopers Park and I saw two disc like shapes flying at very fast speeds criss-crossing each other-over Sydney. It lasted five minutes-and was very clear-they definitely were not bats or birds or known flying machines-and within minutes a helicopter arrived and torches were shined from a nearby point. They were black yet very luminous and visible I am still amazed no-one else reported this seemingly. I am pretty sure I was not imagining.

Melbourne Niddrie East Keilor, Australia A Large White Semi Circular UFO Date: October 1997

Description: Driving home, noticed a large white semi-circular object in the sky I had to do a double take. It was not a cigar shaped or blimp shaped. Got out of the car and watched for approx 10 mins was hovering along south ward it could not had been too high up, but it was hard to judge scale & height at which it appeared, was appearing in the west to south west of Niddrie, I mentioned this shortly after the fact to a friend and they mentioned that their father had seen it too. Could never explain or forget it.

Transcona, Manitoba A Huge Triangle (UFO) Date: Around September 20, 2006
Time: Between 10:00 and 10:15 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Transcona, Manitoba.

Shape of objects: Triangular.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was sitting out on my deck with my wife, looking up at the sky. Something caught my eye and I did the classic double take, refocused my eyes and saw a huge triangular shaped object in the sky, coming from the west, heading east.
It's altitude, I would guess, would be that of a small plane, and the size of it, a conservative estimate, I would say would be at least 100 yards per side, although the bottom was not as wide as it's sides.
No lights on, but the corners of it were much darker, maybe some housings for lights? Not too sure.
Anyway, it made no sound, absolutely silent. The speed was hard to judge, but it was definitely not in a hurry. I would say it took about all of 10 seconds from the time I saw it for it to fly over my house. Ran out to the front of my house, and lost it in the street lights. My wife actually didn't see it, she has poor night vision, so I don't have anyone to back me up on this, although she can attest to sheer excitement of me seeing something that was definitely not a plane.
Do you guys have any reports on something like this from this time frame? I wish I had known about this site when I saw it. I do have the details written down somewhere, but this is what I remember, but could rummage for the notes if that helps you guys out.
Any help would be great. Coolest thing I've ever seen.

Edinburgh Waterfront, Seafield Ball Of Light Date: May 2008
Time: Approx: 5:00 a.m.

Weather Conditions: Very good, clear.
Description: Object was a ball of light, moving just beneath the water, very close to shore, firth of forth. Objects color was white. As I watched from my window the object moved slowly, a passenger aircraft then flew over, very low and the pilots tilted the craft, very unusual for this flight path, but the plane did not turn, the pilots could have also been watching the object, I do believe that they where as they would clearly have an excellent view. I looked back at the ball of light and a few seconds later it vanished as the plane was directly overhead.

Calgary, Alberta UFO Illuminates The Earth Date: May 28, 2008

Description: I was on my patio smoking and looking up when I saw a bright roundish light which I at first assumed was a star. I noticed it getting brighter to the point it did indeed illuminate the earth very slightly and then dim right out, but I could still see it moving north west to north east slightly and then I could no longer see it. It seemed to be at the altitude of a plane and since the Airport isn't too far away I wanted to assume that it was a plane but it had no lights indicating that it was an airplane or helicopter of any form. The entire event lasted maybe 10 - 20 seconds.

Full Description of event/sighting: My husband and I were driving home after work on a cloudy and rainy day. As he was driving, I noticed as I looked towards the horizon, that there were white clouds and very dark clouds. But a round white object was going from east to west and I noticed it as it passed by the darker clouds. We were heading east and I lost sight of it as the road we were traveling on was a winding road. So I thought I lost sight of it for good until my husband took an exit that landed us back in the direction that I first saw it before. At first I didn't tell my husband because he was driving at a high rate of speed on the highway, so I observed this object that was still moving from east to west very slowly. When now it started moving from west to east very slowly. It was above the tree line and suddenly stopped and descended straight down like a rock would if you dropped one. I can't say for sure how big it was, but it was pretty big because.I could clearly see that it was round and I was a few miles away from it when I was observing. I told my son later that night what I saw and he was intrigued. He also has observed strange objects in the night sky as did my husband and I on several other occasions which I have reported to HBCC (to be continued I hope).

Full Description of event/sighting: Myself an two friends were playing football late and were just about to go in when my friend noticed the first orb traveling about cloud height silent and fast moving east to west in a straight line. About a min later it was joined by another and then two more. No noise or vapor. Constant speed, the rear two orbs caught up with the leaders and grouped. we could make them out just as they seemed to drop down in altitude as they disappeared from view. The sighting was witnessed by lots more people and an article appeared in our local paper the Gloucestershire Echo.

Chilliwack, British Columbia A Large White Light Date: July 14, 2008

14th. July approx. 22:30 -- Our visitors went to Chilliwack to spend the night with some of our relatives and at approx:. 22:30 they were out in the back yard having a barbecue when the husband observed a large white light flying east just above the mountain tops to the south. Before he could draw anyone's attention to it, it dropped down behind the mountain top and vanished. No sound or running lights, appeared similar to Venus. He is an amateur astronomer back in Australia, he lives back in the mountains where its is nice and dark.

Surrey, British Columbia A Large White Star Like Object Date: July 15, 2008

15th. July 04:00 -- I was having trouble sleeping so I made myself a cup of coffee and went out on the deck to look at the sky. I'd just sat down when I noticed a large white star like object flying east at approx:. 4 to 5 thousand feet across the southern horizon. I checked with my binoculars but all they did was make it bigger. No running lights to be seen and no noise heard from it. Speed was similar to a normal passenger jet. I lost sight when it flew behind my building. I heard about my friends sighting in Chilliwack when they came home later that day.

Thames Ditton Surrey UK Two Round A Shinny Objects Date: July 16, 2008

Weather Conditions: Overcast and very high cloud but blue sky behind the clouds.
Description: I am not sure if it was certainly a UFO but it did not look like anything i had ever seen before and cannot explain what it was.
I was in my back garden at about 8pm and just coming over the top of my house I saw a red round object, I could not tell you the size of it bit looked quite large, there were no flashing lights or noises coming from it at all . When it came over my house, it was only about 100 foot high so i got a good look at it. It was shiny red and perfectly round and was traveling quite fast (but not too fast) and traveling straight up into the sky towards the high clouds... i watched it for a second or two and called my husband out and by the time he saw it, it was nearing the clouds and just went straight through the clouds and disappeared.(bearing in mind that there were no low clouds that night, the clouds were very, very high in the sky)
The second time we saw another one was about 45 minutes later and we were both out in the driveway and coming from a completely different direction, we saw it again but this time it was traveling straight across the sky (rather that going straight up into the clouds) and this one was shiny silver and traveling at the same speed as the one we saw previous. Again, no flashing lights or noises. We tried to film it but lost it when it disappeared out of sight behind a huge tree and didn't see it again after that.
I just want to know if anyone else saw anything that night or any ideas of what they may have been....????
TV/Radio: I did listen to Radio Jacqui for a while after that but no mention of it but don't know if anything was mentioned after i turned the radio off.

I have had a look at the link of the UFO balloons and I am sure that they are not what I saw, they looked completely different to what I saw. I do not know what they were neither does my husband and my husband does not believe in UFO's and even he was speechless to what they were.
I guess we will never know?

2305 Hwy US-31 N Travere City, Michigan An Oval UFO Date: July 17, 2008
Time: 9:30 p.m.
Number of witnesses: Several unknown hotel renters and my wife

Shape of objects: As an engineer and pilot, I was utterly amazed at the strange shape which made no aerodynamic sense at all for the speed. The upper tall, 3/4 portion of an oval appeared black against the lighter cloudless twilight sky. The lower horizontal full oval section was a lighter grey than the sky and had several side lights. I estimated the size to be 70 ft. in overall height by 50 ft. wide across the bottom section.
Weather Conditions: clear, twilight sky's, 1-2 mph winds.
Description: It was really quite close. As a pilot who often gazes at airplanes moving by, I figured the object to be about 1/4 mile away at is closest point, with and altitude of about 400-500 ft., and moving east across Traverse East Bay at a constant speed of about 40-50 mph. The wind was less then 2 MPH and the water had only a slight ripple, so I have to dismiss the idea that the thing could be just a big balloon.
I couldn't tell why the lower portion appeared lighter in color -- much like a back-lighted frosted screen or from some unseen indirect lighting source.

Description: We were sitting in the back garden. We were called out to the front of our house by our neighbor. In the sky we saw 3 objects in a line all travelling in the same direction with 1 object following. They all flew in the same direction until they passed out of sight. Shortly afterwards we saw more flying through the sky following the same flight path. The neighbors had been watching others flying before they called us out. They all moved at a constant speed, height and direction. They made no noise. They were glowing orange globelike things.

Description: A bright orange object was seen moving from the West to the East at a constant speed. We could hear what sounded like distant thunder or a repeating sonic boom.We observed the object for 1-2 Minutes and then it faded and disappeared. Shortly after (3-4 mins) we saw an Airplane making its approach to Bristol Airport this we could clearly identify as a plane. The object and its sound I have never heard or seen anything like before.

Description: We went into our front garden to get our cat in and noticed a bright light in the sky, it was a clear night with what appeared to be a full moon. The light was roundish in shape and very bright orange with slight green to the edges it was moving at a reasonable pace , with no sound, we did not think of it as a plane or helicopter as it was too big and faster and unlike anything we have seen. I went in to get my father to come and see it and in that time my partner stayed watching the object. It was heading west then changed direction to south picked up speed and faded into the distance, but from the time I went in and came out all of less than 1 min it had changed so fast. I am really certain we saw a UFO I cant explain it, it was so bright and large and faded so quick and the way it changed direction so fast! I cant explain it.

Vienna Austria Over The 13th District In The Western Area Triangle Shaped UFO Date: July 19, 2008

Description: I did a walk with my daughter to a small lake to feed ducks and the sky was complete cloudless. You could see for 100km without a single cloud. I was looking up into the sky and saw a triangle shaped object appearing from nowhere and moving from North to South at about 200-300 Meters high and with a speed approximately about 400-600Kmh. It was very shiny at the bottom and looked like glowing but very bright just like if I would look into the sun. It was passing by without any noise or smoke trail. and just vanished after 5 seconds without changing altitude or direction.
As I live my whole Live in Austria and we don't have anything close like a area 51 and our military has just old Saab military aircrafts and now a few of the Eurofighter I can say it was none of them because if they pass by you would hear them from a great distance. Even if this was a jet flying over the sound barrier it would make a noise after passing by but there was nothing at all.

Description: We saw lights hovering right next to a hill that we look out to from our lounge. There were around 10 lights in total, although as the visibility wasn't ideal it was hard to count as they tended to blur from the hovering motion. The lights slightly illuminated the shape of the object which was not entirely smooth, but it was a discus form overall. It hovered for around 4 minutes then the lights disappeared, then they reappeared after about 5 minutes. The object then shot directly upward very rapidly. We didn't see it again. We don't exactly know what we saw but there is no obvious explanation

Description: A very dark cigar shape, first thought to be a cloud (only one in sky)faded away within 10 to 15 seconds,reappeared approx 30 seconds later but now as boomerang shape with tips slightly angled down (captured on 1080p video)observed for several minutes,then it faded away within 5 seconds.As it was dark and the lux on the video isn't great it doesn't show as clear what we could see with the naked eye.

Shape of objects: The first one looked triangular. The other one I don't really know but it was like a rectangle kind of.
Weather Conditions: It was a clear sky from were I saw it.
Description: well first there was a comet that was the first time I ever saw a comet. then about 15-20 minutes later I saw fast moving lights their were three lights making the shape of a triangle. The lights in the back were white and the light in the front was red. The light on the back upper right side of the object and the front red light was blinking. The second object was moving really fast across the sky and the object had four lights and their were two very bright lights on both sides and their were two blinking lights in the front and back.

Northeast Of Maryvale QLD, Australia Sparks Exploded Behind ObjectDate: July 21, 2008
Time: 7:20 p.m.
Hi there, At 7.20pm Australian EST on 21 July 2008, looking north-east of Maryvale QLD we spotted a bright light larger than the largest visible star moving from South to North with a flowing tail. Three seconds after sighting a ring of orange sparks exploded from behind the object and its colour changed from bright white to electric pale blue. At the point of explosion of sparks the object slowed noticeably and continued on for only two seconds before it disappeared. This is not the first object of this type to appear and disappear in similar fashion in this vicinity. The object disappeared in the vicinity of Mt. Mistake, which is west of Toogoolawah and east north east of Maryvale. For overseas readers, this area is in the Great Dividing Range west of Brisbane Queensland and east south east of Toowoomba and east north east of Warwick Queensland. Regards.

Tenterden, Kent, UK A Bright Orange Light Date: July 21, 2008

Description: My eldest son of 18 walked in the back door and said come and look at this in the sky. Myself and my two other children ran outside and we could see a bright orange light coming towards us in a curve line from the left. We could see 3 planes in the sky and it looked nothing like them, no flashing lights, no sound and it seemed lower in the sky. As it came towards us it started to turn back to the left and started to fade as it seemed to rise higher. We watched as it turned to a tiny dot in the sky. It looked as if it went to high to be an airplane. I tried recording it on my mobile phone but it only came out as a tiny dot on the screen.

Surrey, British Columbia A Small Dark Object Date: July 27, 2008
Time: 3:30 p.m.
27.th. July approx:. 15:30 - I was sitting in my living room talking with my wife while idly glancing out the windows to the east and watching the clouds as they changed shape. I observed a small dark object partially projecting from a large white cloud for a few seconds and then it appeared to be drawn back in. I continued to keep an eye on that area and a few minutes later a black cylinder like object came out of the cloud flying at high speed. Direction of travel was NNW but it almost immediately commenced to make a very sharp turn towards the south. Within seconds it appeared to be reversing direction as if it was making a large S turn. I was grabbing frantically for my binoculars but only managed to knock them over. In the second or two I took to look for them the object vanished. I ran out onto my deck but was unable to see where it had gone. The object appeared to be similar in proportion to a rifle shell.

Falmouth, Nova Scotia A Very Bright Orb Date: July 31, 2008

Shape of objects: Indistingusihible/very bright orb.
Full Description of event/sighting: At approx. 9:30 pm, on the evening of Thursday July 31st, 2008, I was outside locking up my car for the night, when I noticed a very bright object in the southeastern sky. I seemed to be rising straight up. I called out my wife and oldest child, and told them to turn off the front light so we could get a better look. My oldest got a bit nervous and they went back inside after watching it for only a few minutes. I continued to watch the object for roughly 10 minutes as it tracked steadily eastward. Approx 15 minutes later I observed another, less luminous object tracking in the same direction. I stayed out for another 20 minutes or so, and I saw a third object approach from the western sky. This object appeared to be much closer and more luminous than the first two. It tracked at a great rate of speed steadily forward, disappearing from view after only roughly 2-3 minutes of viewing. I have seen many, many airplanes over this area, but these were quite distinct from any aircraft I have ever seen.

Hanover, Ontario Orange And Red Lights Moving Strangely Date: August 1, 2008

Ok folks, crazy activity tonight in Hanover, Ontario Canada. We saw two things, first was an Orange light go straight up in the air looking west from house roof level. Went up as high as we could see it and got brighter as it went higher then disappeared, second was a red light same thing almost but it went up then traveled east across the sky. Bright red light approx time was 11:30pm for red and about 10:30 for the orange. Anyway there's my report Aug,1, 2008.

Kelowna, British Columbia A Bright Glowing White Silvery Object Date: August 1, 2008
Time: 8:25 p.m.
Well, I don't know if you have heard anything this afternoon from anyone else, but the kids and I saw a very bright glowing (white-silvery) object in the sky tonight at 8:25 PM. It hovered at first and then quickly flew off over the mountains towards, I believe, West-North area. The large object seemed to have a smaller one to the upper right side of it, hovering along side of it as well.

I was helping a friend move into her apartment on Friday night, when across the Sydney bay (and I mean hundreds of feet) I saw 3 large very fast moving red/orange lights sweeping across the sky - back and fourth, like they were playing with each other. It felt like they were kids playing a very fast game of keep-away!
I have never in my life seen anything this amazing. Fast is not even the word for the speed and maneuverability of these crafts. One of the locals who was helping us move looked up and said "yea, yea......you live around here long enough and those things are not even interesting anymore." I found this attitude to me amazing ! These folks have secrets, and they are sick of telling people about this as no one believes it. I have no reason to make this up. I just wanted to share the story.

My wife and I witnessed what sounds exactly what they saw in Ohio. However we were near Lexington, Michigan Saturday night August 2, 2008. I sent a friend of mine a text message at 11:30 p.m. EST. It was like nothing I ever seen, slow, soundless. I tried to get video, but had a heck of a time due to the trees and my not so steady shot hands. If there is any additional information of this I would like to learn more. It seemed as though each time the object appeared, it was always from the same spot (to the north) and continued along the same path south as the previous ones.
I've never seen anything like it.

Fresno, California A Round Disk Shaped UFO Date: August 2, 2008
Time: 2:30 a.m.
Location of Sighting: From my location 1 can be seen looking NE & the other looking SW.

Shape of objects: Round, disk shape.
Full Description of event/sighting: We have been watching them since sometime around 2:00am and just came back in at around 2:35 and they were still clearly visible. The one that can be seen looking to the NE part of the sky has blue, red and white lights moving in a circular direction underneath the object and around the outer perimeter of the disk. This one is further away and not sure if we were able to record it though we did point our digital cam in that direction. Its staying in the same vicinity and only moves within a 1 to 2 inch perimeter in the sky, from our view that is. The other can be seen looking in the complete opposite direction, looking at the SW end of the sky and while we were watching it, it actually moved closer as we watched giving us a better view and caught on video.
This one only appears to have white bright lights all around it and is also disk shaped it also has smaller blue lights above the white and these lights are not moving or rotating like the others but is definitely more visible and clear. Clear enough for us to get a good shot of it and can clearly see it is round. I think we even filmed it as it slowly projected towards is a little giving us a better view than we first were able to see. They were still there the last one of us checked at 2:44 am but haven't checked since. It is now 2:57am and the date is currently Sat, Aug 02, 2008.

Full Description of event/sighting: After about a year of my family ribbing me because I had seen a UFO and thought I was mad I am glad to hear that my daughter along with her husband and his parents have seen what they would say was a UFO and even better than that she has caught it on video. I have not seen my daughter yet, but she explained to me on the phone that whilst they were in the garden putting my grandson to bed in his new tent her husband looked up and shouted look what's that, she immediately turned the camera sky wards and video'd it for a while. As soon as I have more information I will get in touch.

Meteor Sighting At Indian Lake Ohio Date: August 2, 2008

We were sitting around a fire at O'Connor's Point along Indian Lake in Logan County, Ohio. There were four adults and two adolescents. We noticed what appeared to be a ball of fire crossing the sky from north to south. It took about a minute to cross out of our vision. When it was half the way across the sky, we spotted a second on along the same path as the first. It was traveling at the same speed as the first. The was no trail as you would normally see with a normal meteor. They were both of varying degrees of orange with flashes of other colors. My son went to get our flip video and recorded the second object. We would be interested in knowing if anyone else saw these objects.

Bedfordshire, United Kingdom A Round Pearl Like UFO Date: July 30 and August 2, 2008
Time: 4:00 p.m and 4.20.p.m. 10.30 p.m Saturday.

Full Description of event/sighting: Myself, husband and daughter sat in the garden facing the house. I saw a slow moving round pearl like object directly above the house. I told my husband and daughter who also saw it as it seemed to turn slightly as it went into light cloud. Rushed in for the camera and started to film in the hope it would reappear.However after about thirty seconds I gave up as it was not seen again. At about 4.20 another spherical white object suddenly appeared a short distance away from the house travelling from north to south. This would be over the A5 north Dunstable
Saturday 2nd August 2008. 10.30.p.m. Again north Dunstable, north to south bright flash, several seconds later another bright flash. A third flash was seen by both of us, and then nothing.
I saw three objects on May 7th from the garden
My husband captured an object on film in July 2005 from the garden, came quite fast across the sky and stopped, then slowly fades away. A small apex can been seen on the top of the dark object.
We have seen many UFOs over the last few years from our garden and at Ivinghoe Beacon, some of which are reported here.
I would like to get in contact with any other people from Dunstable who have seen these objects.

Louisville, Kentucky Circular Orb Like Object Vanishes Date: August 3, 2008

Full Description of event/sighting: Barely any movement, passed it off as a star at a point. Then it vanished at 2:50 a.m. into nothing. It was just disturbing and eerie. It sure wasn't a star or a plane. They don't just vanish like that.

Hi there, last night August 3, 2008 at 10:13pm I saw this two times now, was what appeared to be like a satellite going across the sky, but it was way to low to be one, so I would think. Anyway as it was moving, it started getting really bright really, really bright like someone had one of those bog spot lights in the sky. Then it slowly dimmed back to normal as it kept on it's course. "What is this" ? Another strange thing I saw last night was something that went straight up, then go south. It was a pretty bright light, about 15,000 feet up if I had to guess and as it went overhead of us, the light went reddish and then behind it the light was no longer visible. Which was weird, no sound at all.

New Jersey USA A Fiery Green Object Date: August 3, 2008

I didn't know what it was and for a second I thought it was a firework, but this morning I talked to my son who was on the other side of the state and he mentioned to me that he saw a green object go across the sky at the same time. Barnstaple North Devon Bright Object Splits Into Three (Photos) Date: August 3, 2008
Time: 10:10 p.m.
Hi again Brian, At about 10.10 PM tonight, I went into our bedroom to draw the curtains over ready for bed, when a very intensely bright light in the sky caught my eyes. At first, I thought it must be a star, however, it appeared to become bigger and brighter and then split into (3) objects. I rushed into my room here where I keep my camera and to my great annoyance the batteries needed replacing ! I yelled to my husband, to ask if he had any spare batteries and thankfully, he did after a few minutes finding them!
Anyway, I go down stairs, thinking that the objects would by now be gone, they were still there. Having down loaded the photos, I noticed that the date on the camera was still set at last year's date, my husband then set my camera to the correct date and time. As you'll notice that some of the pictures have today's date on and the others don't.
I think that you'll find the photos interesting Brian, when I enlarged them. I could see clearly that the object had indeed formed other smaller objects.

Killarney Mountain Lodge, Ontario Bright Light Date: August 3, 2008

Location of Sighting: Killarney Mountain Lodge, ON.

Full Description of event/sighting: We were sitting on the north end of Georgian Bay at a resort, stargazing, when a moving bright light caught our attention. The light was moving north east at a steady speed when it started getting brighter, to the point it was the brightest object in the sky. It then dimmed to the point it looked like a satellite, then got dimmer until it was no longer visible even though the object was still directly above us.
Other oddities in the sky were observed such as flashes of light similar to camera flashes where you can see the source for a brief moment and also a quick moving light similar to a satellite that just disappeared mid sky.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi, I am observing a light traveling North to South approximately 9:15pm on Saturday and Monday night, I did not check Sunday. It is about 4-10X as bright as Jupiter, and is slightly more west of observing the object towards the south
I'm just curious what it could be, as it travels faster than most jets I've seen, leaves no entrail, does not change in luminosity and could not be a jet as it is not blinking in any way. There is no sound and I have been unable to find any documentation of any comets that could be traveling in that way.
I have seen many satellites, this does not seem to be one, it's far too bright. I will be installing Starry Night to see if it's something I missed but I thought this would be faster. As such, it is traveling in the direction of the Airport, but it is not making a landing Any ideas?
