A Series Of Bright Flaming Orange Lights Near Dublin Ireland

Date: July 30, 2011
Time: Approx: 10:45 p.m.

Hi my name is (name removed), I am live near Dublin in the Republic of Ireland. I saw a series of bright flaming orange dots in the sky on the 30.07.11 at 10:45 ish BST. They seem to have hovered in and out of the atmosphere, about roughly the height a jet would fly overhead.

I ran for my binoculars, but it didn't seem to clarify the objects in any great detail. I also had another sighting months previously on the 22nd of January 2011 in the same place over my house, except they were far lower and were like burning flames.

I tried getting in contact with local astronomers, but to no avail, does this make any sense to you?

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Pilot Enters An Intense Pink Light Near Tunbridge Wells UK

Date: October 19, 2010
Time: Evening.

Hello, from the out I'll say that this isn't normally my kind of thing, but I happened to be flying back into the UK Tuesday eve in a light-ish aircraft just after sunset and ran into an intense pink light weather/whatever phenomenon near Tunbridge Wells that I had never imagined.

I told various friends who also fly simply because it was more than strange and scared me a bit, so much so that I almost turned back away from it, but I entered it and the plane was lit up inside like the brightest summers day, only pink, but was then hit by such intense hail and turbulence that I lost my seat, lost my headset, banged my head and thought it so severe so I made a report on the radio to the radar service provider to warn other aircraft.

He commented that he could see intense cells in my location which surprised me as I had expected none.

The forecast was for none of the severe weather encountered or I would not have made the trip. I am glad that I told friends pretty well immediately both en route home from the airport, that night and next morning (so you can imagine how it affected me) because a day later I have had one of them just mail me a report on a very similar thing that was reported in the Mail over London.

It seems to get the brush off and comments were closed off and so on searching quickly came across your link touching on these things and felt it worth making contact.

If interested I'd be happy to give a fuller account. If you know of an explanation of any kind I'd be happy to hear.

All the best.

If anyone has witnessed the Pink Light, please send me an email with details of what you saw. Please remember to include the date and time and location. (Town/City – State or Province) and as much detail as possible.

Vike Factor Note: I do receive sighting reports from everywhere in the world, and I post all of the reports I receive here: http://the-v-factor-paranormal.blogspot.com/

South Bank, River Thames, Near London Bridge, England Star Like Object

Posted: May 24, 2009

Date: May 1, 2009
Time: 08:00

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Star-like
Most likely a weather balloon but.

About 08.00, sitting on south bank of Thames near London bridge, looking towards NW London. Spotted bright, star-like object moving slowly northwards. Watched for about 20-25 mins. Probably not a plane (saw it for too long and no contrail...another jet at altitude flew over NW London for comparison and was definitely identifiable as such, with trail.) Appeared to be stationary at times (but probably just heading away from me).

Not the ISS (seen that many times to know what it looks like and how it moves) and not another satellite (which don't move that slowly). Bright sunshine at the time, clear skies, enough planes over London for comparison.

My guess is a weather balloon, but thought it was interesting enough to report.

Colden, Near Hebden Bridge England Lights Change Color From Pinkish Orange To Rose

Posted: May 13, 2009

Date: April 11, 2009
Time: Approx: 8:15 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 3
Shape of objects: Spherical.
Weather Conditions: Unusually still, some cloud, just after sunset.

Description: After moving a washing machine into my house I was taking a trolley back to my neighbor and was walking along my street. I briefly looked up and saw a light in the sky which looked slightly strange at first glance as it was the wrong colour for aircraft headlamps which we see a lot of up here, being on a landing pattern for Manchester Airport.

However, I continued along the street and entered my neighbor's garden when I saw another light appearing over the far horizon, maybe 5, 6 miles away. This light was the same colour as the first one but what made me take notice was the speed with which it traveled and its size. It was much bigger than any light source I'd ever seen, but wasn't particularly bright, it seemed more to be made of light, and gently changed colour, from a pinkish orange to a rose. It approached my vicinity fairly rapidly, in seconds it was above me so I turned and ran along the street toward a friends house. I ran because I wanted my friend to see but also I was quite scared because the size, speed, colour and behavior of the object was quite unlike anything I'd ever seen before.

Arriving at my friend's house I rushed in and told him, before we went to the back of his house and watched it, which had now risen to a great height and joined with two more identical objects in a perfect line. They continued to rise and one by one disappeared. 10 mins. Later we saw what seemed to be a star separate into two before travelling away from each other in opposite directions before disappearing. This sighting has changed my life, I already believed theoretically, but had never seen anything, now I believe but am a bit embarrassed about being seen as a loony and also I didn't expect to be scared of a light in the sky.

-----

UFOINFO Note: Though the size and speed possibly ruled them out I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:

Hi John, I looked at the video and others on youtube, prior to making my report, after doing a search after my sighting. The difference between the balloons and my sighting is the speed with which it moved, on a night which was unusually still. I am still looking for another explanation. All the best.

UFOINFO Note: The reported colour seems similar to sightings that I had - I've never been able to describe the exact color.

A9 Northbound, near Dalwhinnie, Highlands A Bright Triangular Object

Posted: February 18, 2009

Date: January 18, 2009
Time: 01:20

Number of witnesses: 1 (plus multiple cars around)
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Triangular
Weather Conditions: Clear, dry, dark (no road/town lighting due to location) approx. -1c.

Description: I was driving from my parents house in the central belt back to Inverness and when driving through Dalwhinnie I stopped to have a short break due to tiredness. Traffic was intermittant, and there are no large settlements for miles in this area. As I lit a cigarette I looked to the top of the ridge to the left (west of me) and saw a bright triangular object with no flashing beacons on it. I thought at first it was maybe a mountain rescue team due to the proximity to the top of the ridge, and it was stationary. Then I saw the light revolve on it's axis two or three times before moving at high speed in a straight line directly to the top of the ridge on the right (east) side of me - approx 1.5 miles in distance covered within around 2-3 seconds. The light then proceeded to do exactly the same as detailed above on this side before moving off at high velocity in a northwards direction (towards Inverness). The lights grew smaller and were completely out of sight within approx 5-7 seconds. During this whole time there were approximately 15-20 vehicles that passed in either direction, and with the area being so open and dark, I would think that at least one of them saw such a bright light in such a dark place.

TV/Radio: I haven't seen this particular story highlighted in the news, however I understand that there has been a number of strange sightings in the Highlands area in the last week or two. In fact, my local news paper, the Highland News, covered a story on these lights last Thursday (22nd Jan).

Near Totnes, Devon, England A Red Colored Light

Posted: January 11, 2009

Date: 1973/1974
Time: Approx: 3:30 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Round source of light.
Weather Conditions: Clear and bright.

Description: Whilst driving from Berry Pomeroy to Maldon I saw off to my right on the hilly horizon the other side of the River Dart arced light in the sky. The red colour was like the strong pinky/red colour of a Swan Vesta match-head. I saw the light intermittently through trees/hedges/walls/farm gates for 5 or 10 minutes the light seemed to keep pace with me and to be following the hill contours drivers window open so not reflection from car dash.

Sauchie, Alloa Near Stirling Glasgow UK Orange Glowing Ball Of Fire

Posted: January 9, 2009

Date: January 9, 2009
Time: Approx: 8.20 p.m.

Location of Sighting: A907, Sauchie, Alloa near Stirling.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Orange Glowing Ball with fire like appearance over Sauchie, Alloa near Stirling.

Full Description of event/sighting: After dropping a work colleague off at his home in Alloa at 8.10pm, I carried on my journey home to Falkirk. After driving through the village of Sauchie heading towards the new Clackmannan Road Bridge along the A907 I glanced up and was astonished to see a large bright orange ball like object in the sky. The object was moving in the opposite direction to me heading back over to the village of Sauchie and was around 200 to 500 feet above the ground.

I tried to stop the car so I could look back and keep track of the object but because of traffic behind me, but I was unable able to pull over until another mile further up the road at a parking stop. I stopped the car there and looked back towards the direction I had come from, but I could no longer see the object.

This thing was extremely strange looking which is why it caught my attention, a bright orange glowing ball, the edges of the ball had what looked like fingers of flames or some sort of fire like appearance, not large flames just noticeable at the edges of the ball shape. I only saw the object for around 8 to 10 seconds as it was moving towards me as I drove, but it was strange enough for me to know it was not a plane or a helicopter because the object was beneath the very low cloud cover, along with the fact it looked like no aircraft I have ever seen.

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.

Near Washington, West Sussex, England Orange Ball Of Light

Posted: January 3, 2009

Date: December 26, 2008
Time: 5:20 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Orange ball
Weather Conditions: Cold clear night

Description: We were driving along the A283 heading west towards Washington, my wife was sitting behind me in the rear of the car with my daughter when she became aware of an orange light flying in an easterly direction high in the sky. There were stars clearly visible as well as Venus in the sky so we discounted it being either a planet or a star and was not a plane, it was bright orange. It moved at a steady speed and was visible for at least five minutes as we were moving in the opposite direction.

-----

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:

Hi John

I looked at the film of the lanterns, but have to say that the wind speed was high that evening 20 Knots at least the object was flying at a steady controlled speed there was no flickering. I have spent many years watching aircraft and can honestly say that this orange ball was unlikely to be a lantern it was in a perfect level flight and seemed unaffected by the gusty conditions and visibility was perfect.

Near Chevin/Bramhope Next To Leeds Bradford Airport Orange Lights

Posted: January 1, 2009

Date: January 1, 2009
Time: 00.12

Location of Sighting: Near Chevin/Bramhope next to Leeds Bradford airport.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 4
Shape of objects: Circular.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was driving away from the airport when I noticed 4 orange lights. I turned right to Bramhope and stopped in the middle of road, as at first thought it almost looked like a big firework before it explodes, but it didn't then. I thought it must be planes coming in, but they were too close and then realized what I was witnessing. The four object were stepped in order, with one very low, then the next two bit higher, but on same level than another at the very top. It was almost like a set of steps and all were same size. The two in the middle were closest to each other and then these two began to circle each other 3 1/2 times. They were stopped dead in the sky, all four before all four began to move sideways and apart from the highest which then began to move went upwards.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

Near Gatwick Airport, UK Seven Off White Almost Amber Lights

Posted: December 25, 2008

Date: December 25, 2008
Time: 7:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Near Gatwick airport.
Number of witnesses: 4
Number of objects: 7
Shape of objects: Not possible to say.

Full Description of event/sighting: A series of off white, almost amber lights. No anti collision beacons, no port/starboard lights, travelling roughly east to west - estimated at 150 knots. No sound. Roughly 5 nm south of the approach path for Gatwick airport.

I have been watching the skies for almost 50 years as an avid aviation enthusiast...and can guarantee these were not aircraft of any sort. I have a multi engine rating with a night rating, so know what I am looking at in the sky.

Witnessed by my wife (54, and two sons (23 and 20).

Paisley Near Elderslie, UK Glowing Orange Lights

Posted: December 8, 2008

Date: November 15, 2008
Time: 10:20 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Paisley (near Elderslie).
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: Orange glow.

Full Description of event/sighting: Whilst enjoying a cigarette outside a local pub near the Paisley Abbey, I noticed a small orange light travelling in a southern direction. In my estimation, the object was flying between 1 and 3 thousand feet and was travelling about the same speed a helicopter would. The object didn't change direction or height but travelled slowly in the same direction. At the time I thought that it must have been a helicopter but rather than typical aircraft lights it was a hazy orange glow which was strange. I almost forgot about until in amazement a second object appeared around 4 minutes later travelling at the same height and direction just as the first one disappeared into the distance. As a non believer, I must admit I found this very strange, but decided there must be some explanation. Then I read the local newspaper and noticed a similar sighting in Elderslie (around 4 miles away).

Thank you to the witness for their report.

Shape of objects: Ball of Bright Light.
Weather Conditions: Clear Thousands of stars.

Description: Went out to take garbage really clear night so always look up then just in front of me still far away a bright flash like something exploded in the sky I could then see a small light coming towards me i was looking east over the sea as it came towards me every minute there was this big flash and it was closer each time the ball of light would fade like a dimming light but not flash like a plane it then flash this bright explosion again then I lost it for a few seconds only. Then the explosion of light happened again but it had change direction headed north and had gone far from its last point only in few seconds the speed & quick change in course I don't think a plane could do this (don't know) the light flashed one last time and was gone I called my wife by the time she came out was all over. Oldfield Park Station, Near Bath, England Round Orange Lights

Posted: November 6, 2008

Date: October 10, 2008
Time: 11:15 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 4
Number of objects: 5 +
Shape of objects: Round.
Weather Conditions: Good, clear visibility.

Description: As my partner and I were making our way to the Bath bound platform at Old Field Park, I noticed one orange light below the Moon. At first I dismissed it as a star but it was bright orange and too large. To give an idea of size, if I were to hold a ruler up at arms length I would say it was 2 - 3mm in size. Also it was to low in the sky, we had good visibility and could make out the stars in contrast which were all above the Moon. I then noticed a second light and my partner a third and in the space of a minute there were five in total, all exactly the same. They were all moving vertically and seemed to be flying in a formation (zig zag).

From time to time one or another would be completely stationary and they seemed to then move from side to side ever so slightly then continue upwards. At
this point I telephoned our friends who we had just left. They also witnessed these light but from at least half a mile away. When the lights reached a certain height in the sky they then went left across the sky towards Bath.

Near Bournemouth-Hurn Airport, Hampshire, England Six Objects

Posted: October 14, 2008

Date: September 24, 2008
Time: 11:15 p.m.

Number of objects: 6

At 11.15 pm tonight 24/09/08, from my balcony I watched six orange objects appear one at a time. As each one disappeared the other came up to pass me overhead from east to west, each one taking about 3 minutes to travel the breadth of the sky. I do not know if this was going on before I entered my balcony but as I say I saw six of them.

My first impression was that they were the size of a helicopter, as I often see them at night when they are on patrol! I also see many aircraft overhead coming into the flight path for Hurn Airport!. These orange things were coming right across the flight path that's what initially caught my attention. I looked through my binoculars and they seemed to be wriggling as the moved in straight lines.

-----

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:

I have come across these balloons early in the summer of this year, and yes it may well have been these same things that I saw last evening. They more or less took the same direction across the sky. And they (all six that I saw) went across the flight path of Hurn Airport. But surely air traffic control saw the same things (if they were awake during it and not on a coffee break during a quiet period!!

Regards.

North Yorkshire Moors - Near RAF Fylingdales Dark Disks Inside Yellow Glow

Posted: September 28, 2008

Date: August 15, 2008
Time: 10: 30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: North Yorkshire Moors - near RAF Fylingdales .
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: Dark disks inside yellow glow.

Full Description of event/sighting: Brian, this is in response to your sighting of a cylindrical object by a couple on the N. Yorks Moors the previous day to my sighting. There have been numerous sightings in the area on the 14/15/16th of the month some have been reported to the local press e.g.

http://www.scarborougheveningnews.co.uk/ufo-encounters/More-sightings-of-39strange-lights39.4493151.jp and

http://www.scarborougheveningnews.co.uk/ufo-encounters/UFO-mysteries-deepen-with-more.4433496.jp including video of my own sighting at

http://www.scarborougheveningnews.co.uk/ufo-encounters/Strange-Orange-Lights-over-Whitby.4419365.jp

I saw the two low, slow flying objects as I was returning home over the North Yorkshire moors approaching the RAF Fylingdales radar station near Saltersgate at around 22:30 on the 15-08-2008. Almost directly above the station were two very readily visible golden yellow lights moving at slow speed - as an ex pilot, knowing that airspace to be restricted as a danger to aircraft area due to radar emissions. I found this highly unusual and suspicious.

I found a safe spot to pull over and took out my camcorder from the car boot and filmed a couple of minutes of footage. (not the sort of spot to be parked for any length of time, as you are certain to me moved on by base security - especially if waving a camera around!).

To the naked eye (and I have aircrew eyesight) there were no anti-collision lights of any kind, which was confirmed by review of the video. The two objects flew in slow, close formation and moved Eastwards towards the town of Scarborough, which is some 10 miles away. They were completely silent, with a spherical bright orange/yellow glow, seemingly around dark objects at the glow centre - the dark objects appeared roughly disk shaped (cylindrical from a side view) - no fuselage or control surfaces were observable.

Driving further across the moors closer to Whitby, the objects were still visible and I was able to film them once more. I will try to email to you a frame grab from the second video which is the clearest shot of the objects. I hope this is of use and interest to your two witnesses. For further information local UFO expert Russ Kellett at www.flyingsaucerhunters.com would be their best bet. He has an extensive list of local/uk sightings on his site. Best wishes.

Thank you to the witness for the report and his photo.

Maury Near Perpignan, France Triangular UFO Travels At Amazing Speed

Posted: September 11, 2008

Date: September 4, 2008
Time: 2:00 p.m.

Description: While travelling easterly on D117 in the Maury Valley near Perpignan, France, a perfect triangle craft crossed my sight at unbelievable speed north to south. It was probably not above 3000 feet AGL and zipped just above avoiding the mountain, summit to summit the valley is 2 miles wide. The occurrence lasted half a second, it was not humanly possible to sustain such maneuver. The approximate speed over 10000 miles an hour, noiseless and no sonic bang heard.

River Medway, Near Strood Station, Kent, England

Posted: August 14, 2008

Time: 12:10 a.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 3

A friend and I were by the River Medway near to Strood Station just after midnight when we first noticed two bright orange objects in the sky. The objects made no sound and didn't flash like an aircraft would. I fly weekly so know what they look like in the sky on final approach etc. Just after we saw the first two, a third one was visible and seems closer and lower. It moved in the same direction as the others. The other two then changed direction and appeared to fly upwards and away until they could no longer be seen. The third one followed on the same course as the others.

It wasn't a plane.. so what was it I wonder?

Date: August 10, 2008
Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Cornwall (near Helston).
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 3
Shape of objects: Orange spheres.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was looking out through my window when I saw three orange spheres in a triangle formation that I thought was a firework at first. This formation then proceeded to come towards my house and was absolutely silent. I ran out to my garden in time to see the three spheres pass over and disappear, still silently.

Thank you to the witness for their report.
