Small Green Light/Object Seen In The Sky Over The UK

Came here to see what I saw. A small green light which was not moving at first, whizzed away at a speed that definitely could not have been an aircraft.

Clear night in the UK around 9:00 p.m.

Large Green Object Seen Flying Over Near Chillagoe Australia

Time:  Approx: 2:00 a.m.

On the 10th September 2014 at approximately 2:00 a.m. Near Chillagoe Australia. Much larger than a shooting star, very green!

Turquoise Green Light Skipping And Leaping In Front Of Witnesses At Upper Galil Tzfat Israel

Date:  August 9, 2014
Time:  Evening.

It was just after dark tonight when my husband and I were outside and saw streaks of turquoise green light skipping and leaping in front of us.

The light was making several passes up and down the hill, ranging maybe 1-2 miles.

No sound accompanied the light. We live in the Upper Galil in Tzfat, Israel.

Additional Information:

Brian, yes very odd. I checked the internet and what we saw apparently was not a meteor or bolide.

We thought someone was waving around a flash light, but the transit of light was very great, on the ground, leaping instantaneously, appearing distant and near and changing pattern from spot to rod to fire cracker like bursts. I'm curious!

Green Line Spotted Over The Chiswick/Kew/Brentford Area UK (Pictures)

Time:  Around 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Hey, I was in my garden last night and saw a green line in the sky, much like the one you were describing. It was around 11/12 at night and it did fade with cloud cover, meaning it was higher than the clouds.

It was in the Chiswick/Kew/Brentford area. I'm located in Acton and saw it, and we got pictures too. What do you think it is? Thanks.

Additional Information:
Here are the pictures, they were taken on a digital camera and so not great, but zoom in and you will see a clear green line. I heard that these are lasers on top of buildings, my friend says he sees them alot in Birmingham. 

It could be coming from Glaxosmithkline in Brentford or something there, seems plausible. Thanks again and let me know what you think.

In the pictures, the green line is located just below the two brightest stars. So if you were to draw a line to connect the two stars, its just below the middle of this line.

Green Light Seen Traveling Quickly Through The Sky Over Liverpool England UK

The second one being the biggest. We had a blackout for more than 1 hour before this happened.

Green Strip Of Light In The Sky Over Chiswick UK

I just saw a green strip of light in the sky over Chiswick. It was high up above the clouds, not moving while the clouds moved on by. It faded but then it reappeared. I watched if over a period 1 - 2 minutes.

I wondered if it could be a meteorite with a long green tail, so came indoors to Google for 'meteorite with green tail over London' and found your site. As requested, am just letting you know.

50 Foot Oblong Luminous Deep Green Object Cannock Chase UK

Shape of Objects: 1st: 50 foot long oblong 2nd: small star shape.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I saw this object flying very slowly above the trees, not earth bound (not crashing). It had a luminous deep green front tip and dark oblong shape. About 50 feet in length followed by a second shape, small star shape gold in colour.

This followed the first object but was not attached to it. No noise.

Green Light Followed By White Lights Over Stathern Vale Of Belvoir UK

Hi, this is what I saw last night, any ideas? I have my thoughts, but would appreciate yours too. On 21 September 2012 at 10:55 p.m. Over Vale of Belvoir - Stathern.

I saw the lights in a northerly direction as I just happened to look out of the back bedroom window at 10:55 p.m. Saw a green light, followed by series of white lights (almost like windows) which at 11:00 p.m. didn't make sense.

It was moving slowly and smoothly in sky seemingly just above light cloud cover, almost light hanging in the sky.

Opened the window whilst this was in front of me and there was no jet like noise, in fact no noise at all could be heard that might suggest a jet/motor. This lasted a few minutes.

Could also see usual star patterns in the sky behind. Didn't see outline, only lights/windows.

Initially looked very odd, don't usually see/hear anything flying in that kind of proximity nor at night here. Movement was slow, controlled, smooth, steady.

The lights moved way very smoothly and disappeared as if going over towards Nottingham. This was over LE14 4HW

There is little lighting in the village and on this side of the house it is especially dark/having zero light pollution. My partner was in the back garden at the same time with our dog and was completely unaware of any noise etc, I don't think he'd have seen anything from the garden (we have lots of trees about), but from the bedroom/first floor it was possible. Pale Green Colored Object With Sparks Flying Off It Seen Over Bacup UK

I've just seen something very similar over Bacup tonight, about 11:00 p.m. I thought it was a police helicopter at first, with the searchlight on. It looked to be a few hundred feet up, then as I realized I couldn't hear anything I realized it looked nothing like a helicopter.

Pale green light (like old gaslights) with orange sparks coming out of it! So, realizing November 5th isn't far off, so I assumed it was a firework, but the more I looked I realized it was behaving all wrong.

Travelling horizontally (east to west) and too slowly for a rocket. Sparks looked comedic, like '50s Flash Gordon!

It went over the west horizon still sparking but no green visible any more. It didn't seem to be getting any nearer the ground.

Green Lines In The Sky Over Chiswick UK

I read a lot of other sightings of these green lines on your page, but just wanted to send this because the Waterman's Geometry display has finished and so can't be responsible as I saw the lines today.

My friend and I were waiting to be picked up earlier this evening at about 10:00 p.m. We were joking around about UFOs when I saw this green line in the sky. It was a short green line, but it glowed and appeared to be behind the clouds.

Our car pulled up at this point and we got inside. We then noticed a second line, so he got out his camera to try and record the line, however as soon as he got his phone out the lines disappeared.

No clue what they were, but I certainly want to find out! Thanks.

Bright Electric Blue/Green Flash Lit Up The Sky Over Cape Town South Africa

Hi Brian, I'm responding to an internet article about a blue green flash spotted over Cape Town.

I witnessed a similar phenomena over Cape Town as I descended down Sir Lowry's Pass at approximately 01h30am on the morning of 11 August 2012.

The entire sky lit up in an bright electric blue green flash for a few seconds. This occurred twice. Weather conditions were stormy, high winds and some rain.

There was no sound accompanying it and no displays of lightning before or after the incident. Two others in the vehicle saw the same thing. It was a pretty amazing and beautiful experience. Warm regards

Blue/Green Flash Lightened The Entire Sky Over South Africa

Time:  10:00 p.m.

 

I’m from South Africa. We (myself and 2 friends) were sitting outside (21 April 2012,+- 10: 00 p.m.), and suddenly the electricity went down and a blue/green flash lightened the entire sky for 2 seconds and then the electricity went back on!

 

It wasn’t lightning as it was dead quite! That was so weird, and all 3 of us saw this. I have no idea what it was or what it could be!

Orange Lights Seen Over Hither Green London UK

I have just seen the very same thing here in London (Hither Green).

 

They formed into a uniform line and then began heading in one direction at first.

 

I thought they were planes, but for the orange light, then as they moved, the rear lights progressively began to catch up with the others and one by one they caught up until they all vanished.

 

What exactly are they?
