Time: Approx: 11:30 p.m.I saw an orange object burning in the sky last night from Chellaston In Derby at around 23.30 (2nd September). I couldn’t figure out what it was looking out of the window so went outside to have a look. Even though it was traveling horizontally, It definitely wasn’t a plane.
My initial thought was that it could a satellite burning up on entry, but it seemed far to close to be that and the direction it was traveling wouldn’t really have supported that theory. No idea what it was so had a look online today to see if there were any other sightings, and I saw your website.
