Hello, I was on Towan beach at midnight last night and saw what looked like a satellite moving sideways across the sky in the direction of Fistral, moving easy, but it's colour was orange/red, not the usual satellite colour.
Another 2 of these things appeared, moving in the sane direction, same speed, about half a mile behind each other. Then I lost them in cloud. Then a few seconds later, 2 more moved across in the same direction, only this time they were above each, and again moving west to east. All lasted about 3 minutes. Kind of lost them all in cloud.
They moved exactly like satellites, but were red/orange. And also they seemed a lot lower in the sky than satellites normally are. From where I was on Towan beach, they were barely above the line of the headland out toward Fistral. I was also sat outside near the walkabout pub at 11:00-ish looking east, south-ish and saw 2 of the same lights in the sky.
I pointed it out to the people I was with, and they just looked like 2 stars that weren't moving, but it was odd that they were, red/orange. I can't remember if these particular ones were moving or not. But they looked identical to the ones I did see moving
about an hour later. Hope this helps.
