Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Calne, Wiltshire UK.
Number of witnesses: 4
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Spherical.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: While watching the stars in the night sky at a holiday leisure park near Calne in Wiltshire, England we saw a yellow ball of light travelling at great speed towards us. When it came closer and looked like a full moon, but a lot lower. it slowed down and changed colour to orange with a vibrant glow around and throughout the spherical shape.

We guess at that point it was probably over the Cherhill white horse. After a few minutes, the orange glow faded and as the ball of light travelled away from us, again at great speed, it turned yellow. It continued moving rapidly upwards until it appeared like a star and was as high as the stars then disappeared completely. It was definitely not a plane or a Chinese lantern.
