Shape of objects: Very Bright Light.
Weather Conditions: Clear.
Description: Whilst walking my dog early evening last Thursday I noticed a very bright light travelling from North To South (towards Armadale direction).
The light travelled at a constant speed however it did not travel in a straight line. It was approximately at twice the height of approaching aircraft coming into land. Upon approaching an aircraft it dimmed the lights completely and disappeared. I have seen this light on several occasions in the last couple of months. And on most occasions travelling in the direction of aircraft only to disappear before contact.
I have seen many satellites in the night sky but never this bright, changing directions and seemly disappearing completely almost directly above my head before encountering an aircraft.
Possible explanation-Space station??or other??
TV/Radio: Too conscious of sounding like a nutter!
