Two Black Disc Shaped UFOs Over Central Harrogate UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Easter Sunday 2011 approximately 3 in the afternoon. Central Harrogate and very clear blue skies and sunny. Myself, my 16 year old son, my wife and mother-in-law saw 2 unusual objects moving quite quickly across the sky. Both objects were black in colour.

One object was slightly higher in the sky than the other. The highest object then lit up very brightly and appeared to be spinning. This object remained lit up while the one below it remained black. Both objects then made a strange maneuver moving clockwise and then anti clockwise in a circular movement around each other eventually fading into the distance.

The lit object remained visible slightly longer than the black object. They made no sound at all. All 4 of us were stunned at what we had just seen.

Multiple UFOs Witnessed Over North Yorkshire Harrogate UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I have a friend who for the past 2 months has been taking some digital photos of an object in the night sky. She has taken about 100 or so pictures of this object. I have never seen anything like this before. It changes shape and color, from a bright white, through blue and gold.

I can almost guarantee it's not space debris or the Space Station, as in some of the pictures it looks like a gold plasma trail. I would be very grateful if somebody could contact me so I can send the pictures. These are genuine and have not been altered in anyway and I welcome anybody to check them out. I'm a massive UFO believer and would like some answers to this. I look forward to hopefully hearing from somebody about this. Yours.

A Multitude Of Orange Glowing Lights Harrogate UK

Hello, just got up after New Years Eve party and checked the internet as we too saw something in the sky last night. We live in Harrogate. At midnight same as you we looked out the window to see the fireworks and saw the same as you. A multitude of orange glowing lights moving steadily across the sky. They looked like they were burning, almost like orange paper lanterns, and moving at speed like airplanes.

The lights moved in a north south direction and continued for over half an hour. Up to fifteen in the sky at once. Some were glowing brighter than others. They appeared to be coming from the vicinity of Menwith Hill. There were 4 witnesses to this. I did take some photos, but they're not very good. I would love to know what they are!

A Huge Black Triangular UFO Observed Over Harrogate UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: On New Years Eve at approximately 6:00pm I happened to glance out of my lounge window to check on the weather. It was a clear moonlit evening. Something immediately caught my eye, something I was not prepared for.

A huge black triangular object was silhouetted above the rooftops. The closest point of the triangle was lit up with a yellow/orange light. The other two points were similarly lit but less brightly. It moved silently and out of view from my window in a southerly direction. I immediately ran outside to get a another glimpse, but unfortunately the object had vanished.

It is difficult to say how near it was and therefore calculating its size would be impossible, save to say that it gave the impression of being immense.

I was quite shocked for the remainder of the evening.

At around midnight there were a number of orange lights in the sky, all drifting downwind from north to south.

These were possibly Chinese lanterns sent up to celebrate the New Year and were about 12-15 in number but in no sense did they resemble the lights on the triangular object I had witnessed earlier.

Unfortunately I had no company at the time of the first sighting and as such there is no-one to verify this.

I am confident that what I saw is, at the moment, unexplainable hence my posting.

I would be interested to know if anyone else in the Harrogate area witnessed this.

10 Bright Orange Lights/Objects In Formation Over Harrogate UK

I think I have just encountered a UFO sighting over Harrogate about 10 minutes ago. Bright orange flares crossed the sky in perfect formation, changed shape to small dots and continued until reaching a point directly over the centre of town. More sightings were seen from all directions and all stopped at a point in exactly the same position as the first. I counted approx: 20 individual glowing lights. At first thoughts turned to New Years celebratory fireworks, but realized that they were travelling for too long and too perfectly to be any form of firework technology. I would be most interested if anyone else witnessed any of the above phenomenon.

Description: Five orange lights which at first glance seemed to look like a fireworks before they explode. However, they held perfect formation flew right across in front of us seeming to maintain the same altitude. We were outside to see off a friend who had been visiting for the evening, and all three of us saw the lights and watched for about three or four minutes as they flew at a steady rate in a southerly direction, they seemed to be flying at the speed of a jet airliner and gradually flew out of sight.

Description: The same as my 14th November sighting (A faint oval patch of whitish light moving quite quickly across the sky in a straight line, describing a somewhat erratic 360 degree turn, retracing its trajectory and repeating the same course for over an hour in total silence.) - but this time there were two oval patches of light, one fainter than the other, and they were moving in roughly circular and opposing trajectories, appearing to cross through each other, again for over an hour.

Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England Red Light Shoots Across The Sky

Weather Conditions: Crystal clear starless cloudless night.

Description: I was returning to Harrogate from a family trip to Scotland in the small hours. The family were asleep in the car and as we approached Menwith Hill RAF/USAF base I saw a small red light shoot across the sky at incredible speed, no sound, no flames or shape around it, it turned at right angles without decreasing speed and was then quickly followed by two more small red lights following it's course. I stopped the car and shook my wife awake and asked if
she could see what I could see. She could see the same thing. The lights seemed to be playing a game of 'tig' and travelled far too quickly to be any aircraft that I have ever seen, their movements were jerky and they showed no signs of decreasing speed to take impossibly sharp turns. They quickly went out of sight and the whole thing lasted perhaps 40 seconds. This was around the time of the gulf war and I could only assume at the time that the Americans were
testing some secret weaponry. I have never reported this before or in fact told many people.

Harrogate North Yorkshire, England White Circular Objects With 8 Points

Weather Conditions: Few clouds but mainly clear.

Description: I was stood outside work finishing my cigarette before I started the night shift. I saw a bright circular object appear which first of all I believed to be a star. However it rapidly grew to 4 or 5 times its original size and 8 points of light were emitted from it. these beams of light were long and thin and stretched out around 10 times the size of the inner circle. the object and light beams then shrunk and expended a couple of times. I went inside and
up to the canteen were one of my colleagues was sitting and we both went to the window to watch whatever it was. it shrunk and expanded a few more times then it seemed to jump to the right then back to the left a couple of times before dimming out and disappearing altogether.

At first I thought I may have been witness to a star exploding but I rules this out when it jumped from side to side.

I have read about and seen photos/video images of UFOs in the past but this does not seem to match anything that's been recorded before...

Harrogate, U.K. A Disc Shaped UFO

Shape of objects: Disc shaped although height was about half the size of the length.
Weather Conditions: Very, very clear, brightest day this year apparently and the sky was bright blue.

Description: I am intrigued to know what I have seen. I am not really a believer of UFO's, however, the sighting of the unusual objects in the sky yesterday are worth considering the possibility, unless of course you can suggest a rational logical explanation of what the objects actually were. For info. I have checked out the balloon UFO pictures and none of them seem anything like what I actually witnessed, hence, I can rule out this option. Approximately, 5pm whilst sat with a friend chatting we both witnessed 3 unusual objects hovering or moving slowly across the sky (actually my friend only witnessed 2 as the 3rd one went behind a tree before she spotted).

The objects were black disc kind of shaped but the orange lights the basically went along the middle of the discs were kind of square and large for the size of the object. There were roughly 4 or 5 orange lights across the length from my viewing. They were positioned close together with one further ahead of the other 2. All objects disappeared behind a tree never to re appear (even with myself climbing onto the roof to try and establish what they were). HI haven't yet looked into other sightings so have no idea of what to compare against. I have never been interested, I am now. Please if you have any information, of, if anyone else was witness to these bizarre objects i would be very interested to know more.
