Orange Lights Over Central Lincoln UK

Date: January 25, 2011 ?
Time: Evening.

25th January 2011 (I think it was then, might have been the 24th though) I was looking south from Spring Hill in Lincoln, UK when an orange light was seen hanging in the sky.

It seemed quite far off and I thought it was a plane, but all of a sudden the light went out. I've seen this before in the same location (I go outside to have a cigarette and usually look over Lincoln) and about the same time.

If it happens again I will try to get video, although the last 2 times I have seen it, i have only seen it for a short time (less than a minute both times, I’d guess about 10/15 seconds)

Additional Information:

Its in central Lincoln, UK. I looked at my position today and checked via a map on the direction, it’s southwest or south southwest. The email shows a map of my line of sight at that location, although distance wise I couldn't be sure, bright lights at night are hard to judge distances with.

Clear Red Orange Lights Over Lincoln Lincolnshire UK

Date: December 31st 2010 and January 1st 2011
Time: 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.

Lincoln, Lincolnshire UK, December 31st 2010 and January 1st 2011. Same sightings! First was around 11:00pm and then again around 1:00a.m. There were two clear red/orange lights, quite low down, but not low enough to make out any detail. I doubt they were helicopters because they made no noise. Nor were they planes as the movement, shape, distance and colour suggested otherwise.

I managed to look at one of them through binoculars when I got home, but again couldn’t make out detail except for a small, cone-shaped orange glow. They changed direction and speed, though they never moved fast. They might have been hot-air balloons, but the light was steady, not the kind of flickering effect you see in flames. As I watched, they slipped away into the south-east. To quote Spock – fascinating.

2 Large Bright Orange Lights East Of Riseholme Road Lincoln UK

Date: February 14, 2010
Time: 6.20 p.m.

Location of Sighting: East of Riseholme Road Lincoln UK
.Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 2
Shape of Objects: Round/oval.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I reported this to UFO sightings UK just after it happened, this is the copy of my report.

Driving past a sports field (sports field empty) I saw two low, very large bright orange lights, they moved across the sky, getting close together then separating. They zig-zagged before moving off in a south westerly direction, one of the lights emitted an orange laser type beam. I stopped my car and watched them move across the sky before they went up behind some clouds, the objects disappeared but the orange glow was still visible in the clouds.

There was no audible sound coming from them. Two years ago my friend and I witnessed a similar thing, two bright orange lights, both with laser type beams zig-zagging, coming very closely together then apart, then remaining completely still above us, we watched them for about ten minutes before they shot straight up and disappeared from sight. These orange lights seem to be appearing very often all over the world, do you think they could be spy drones or at worst, HAARP?

Ball Of Orange Light Over Hartsholme Lincoln UK

Date: 25/12/2009 and 8/11/2009
Time: 6:45 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Lincoln.
Number of witnesses: Two both times.
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Orb.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My mother and I have witnessed a single bright orange orb on 2 occasions. The shape is difficult to describe as it just looks like a ball of orange light with no discernible edges. The light is constant and has no flashing lights like a plane would. The second occasion I saw it, by the time I managed to fumble into my purse to get my camera I managed to take a couple of blurry shots before it disappeared out of sight.

We were getting into the car to go home from my nan's in north Hykeham and by the time we got home to Hartsholme the orb was passing over head. It had obviously travelled in a straight line towards us and held its altitude which seemed lower than the RAF jets usually travel.

During both sightings no engine noise or helicopter type sounds were heard, no sound at all. And also the sky was crystal clear both times too. No wind or cloud cover.

Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England UK Lights

Posted: January 21, 2009

Date: December 25, 2008
Time: 10:25 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: First one saucer shape. Second one hot air balloon shape.
Weather Conditions: Cold and dry.

Description: I was driving home after dropping my mother off at her house about 22.25 Christmas day night, when I saw two unusual shapes in the sky. They were both bright orange/yellow in colour. They seemed to move together, although they were apart. They were high in the sky but not as high as an aeroplane. It was the brightness in colour and their shape that made me stop my car twice to double check I was seeing what I was seeing. The first one was saucer shaped. The second one looked like a hot air balloon in shape and seemed so big and bright. The sighting lasted for about five minutes, only because I
had to change direction and they were no longer in my view.
