Over 9 Orange Spheres Flying Over Doncaster UK

Hi Brian, I live in Doncaster too. Last Friday 26.06.10 me, my girlfriend and her brother were watching movie when at approximately 22.20 something has drawn my attention behind the window. It was an orange sphere flying in weird directions,soundless.When we started looking at it closely (analyzing and trying to fit it to any reasonable explanation) we found out it was nothing commonly known to the public as any sort of aviation aircraft etc., neither was it Chinese lanterns as I initially thought myself.

I took my Canon SLR camera and started taking pictures. Due to load of emotions, I screwed up the settings and all of those pictures are rather of poor quality. Nevertheless, after a minute or so our initial object has changed it's location and soon some more UFOs had appeared flying in different formations in twos and threes.

We counted over 9 at some point. It was not my first such experience. I've seen UFOs in Tethford in year 2000 while working at Corriender field. I was not the only witness, but this time it was totally different from what we saw last Friday. If you browse YouTube, by entering Doncaster UFO YouTube you will find a number of mobile and camera taken movies by people from surrounding areas. All of them show same orange spheres.

You will be amused of how many people have seen it. I personally believe that it does not necessarily have to be some other planet species, but my personal thoughts are not what your looking for. Please mind you that no public media record anything although UFO appears continuously over past years in Yorkshire. They've got radars etc. Why no one says anything to
public? What is all this? Best Regards.

Bright Red Light Moving Quickly Over Doncaster UK

Hi, I just thought I'd add to the bizarre list of sightings here recently. I am from Doncaster (specifically the suburb of Wheatley) not too far away from Conisbrough (I noticed someone had a similar UFO sighting there, albeit more orange).

I was outside on Friday evening (11.06.2010, 11.11pm precisely) having a cig in the back garden, when from the west (perhaps west northwest) a bright red sphere (wreathed in the typical bright starlight corona) came at a fast speed more or less straight over my head in a straight line, only to disappear to the South (east southeast?).

I would say it was about four times the size and brightness of the morning star and if I had to say at a push, the bright red light was possibly tinged with a slight violet colour. It didn't make a sound and there was no wind and it was most definitely not a Chinese lantern, nor was it blinking as you would expect from an aircraft (besides, if it had been an aircraft it would have been far too close to the ground for it to have been so deathly silent).

This was weird! So, I've just been scanning Google for similar sightings and found this site. Stayed outside the next 40 minutes, in hope of it returning or seeing another one, but nothing. Regards.

Balby, Doncaster UK Two Different Sighting Of Orange Colored Objects

Time: Approx: Dec sighting: 4:20 p.m. - Jan sighting: 10:00 p.m.

I to have seen these orange balls. My first sighting was on the 31st of December 2008 at about 4:20pm. I looked up to see what initially looked like a plane on fire travelling towards me. As it got closer, it appeared to be more like a hot air balloon without the basket, however it was moving at a much faster more constant speed and seemed considerably smaller than a hot air balloon. It then went out of sight. I dismissed this sighting due to it being New Years Eve, thinking it could have been some kind of lantern or what ever, but then last night whilst out walking the dog, I saw the orange ball again. This time I had a witness and there was 2 balls.

The balls where the exact same size and color and where traveling in the same manner and speed as the one I'd seen previously. They where moving in a south to north direction they then disappeared. So we walked home and as we got back to the house, I turned to see another orange ball moving west to east and then another appeared behind it. The 1st then began to fade out as the 2nd approached the point where the 1st faded, the 2nd also faded. I will be out again to night armed with a camera!

Wheatly Hills Doncaster UK Three Orange Colored Lights/Objects

I just read a report about a UFO sighting in Wheatly Hills Doncaster dated 1st January 2008. (sighting was 2009) I saw the same exact sighting on 1st January, but 2009 at exact same time either he got the date wrong or it's happened again. These looked really high to me and there was three lights and they all went out at the same point of there destination, except one, which went straight up. I have never seen anything like it, nor did all my friends. Either it was strange awaiting some type of reply.

Full Description of event/sighting: Both me and my partner saw two flying objects in the sky, we did some research and it sounds very similar to a case you have talked about before "Wheatley Hills, Doncaster U.K. A Flying Formation Of Glowing Balls Of Light". Me and my partner talked about it for ages trying to work out what it could be and all the things we thought of didn't fit!

Armthorpe Doncaster U.K. A Sphere Shaped Object

Weather Conditions: Clear.

Description: Just come in from having a cigarette in the back garden and noticed a light coming in my direction from west to east. I thought it was the headlights of a plane coming in to land at Robin Hood Airport in Doncaster as we get a lot of flight traffic overhead. The object was a golden, single light. It didnt lose altitude and was moving slower than an incoming civilian aircraft. I watched it pass pretty much directly overhead and was surprised by 2 things: 1 - it was silent and 2 - normally when planes go over, the headlights appear to go out as it passes by. This light stayed the same shape and had no wing or tail lights. There were 2 normal planes in the sky ( with wing and tail lights) at the same time - albeit moving in different, unrelated directions.
I have no observational experience so I cannot give much of a guide as to speed and height - however, it was at approximately the same height that police helicopters often pass at ( if that's any help) and slower moving. If it was at roughly the same height that police helicopters fly at, then in terms of size it was much smaller - maybe 2-3 metres across maximum. I came back in the house and upstairs to my room which is front facing and watched the light until it was no longer visible. That was 22:48. Apologies if the description is vague.

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:

Hi John,

I watched the balloon video and can categorically state that it was definitely NOT one of those balloons from the video.

This isn't the first thing I have seen, or reported - as I reported a sighting I had whilst living in Billericay, Essex about 4 years ago of a static, colour changing diamond shaped light. I have also seen several objects around Doncaster at different times going back to 1995.

I am widely read in the matter. Since my first "sighting" in 1995 I've spent a lot of time reading both sides of the argument. I have no answers as to who or what some of these things are. I also accept that, just because I have no idea what any of the objects were, there is probably a rational explanation for all of them.

Given my interest in the subject, I watch anything that I see as closely as possible. Most are things that you'd expect them to be but this one I thought was worth reporting in case anyone else may have seen it and have an explanation.

It may have been a balloon, albeit, a bigger and much more brightly lit one. There was also no variation in the flight path - it was a dead straight line. Given that it was breezy on the night I saw it, if it was a balloon - I would expect it to have some slight deviations in its course. Of course, not being a meteorologist of aerodynamic expert, I may be wrong in that assumption.
